Riad Dialna

The general staff at the hotel very pleasant and helpful. However the same cannot be said for the manager who never appeared on site and could only be communicated with through the staff who seemed afraid to make any decisions without contacting her by phone or text. We originally booked a standard room and then decided to upgrade to a deluxe room before travelling. When we arrived it was clear that the room we were given was standard. When we pointed this out there was some relluctance to do anything about it without the manager's approval and so had to wait while the staff communicated with her, but we were unable to speak to her. Finally an 'upgrade' room was agreed but the room we were offered was also a standard, s! ightly larger room but inferior bed with the shower virtually in the corner of the room. We then said that if they could not provided a room that was superior to their first offering, we would stay in the original standard room given to us but were only prepared to pay the standard price, not the deluxe. Again there was delay while the manager eventually agreed this remotely. We paid the standard rate in cash as the hotel insisted but when we asked for a receipt the hotel refused and despite several requests to the manager through the staff no receipt was provided. We were promised that one would be e-mailed to us but we never received anything. At the point when we agreed to stay in the original room the manager requested that we tell Booking.

The best place to stay in Marrakech! Beautiful riad and rooms. The staff were so helpful and friendly in every aspect, absolutely loved staying here! The breakfast is gorgeous and the sun terraces are a relaxing place to chill out. Perfect location.

With the earthquake they treated us wonderfully and let us cancel the rest of the reservation at no cost. Excellent location and fabulous Riad. The best, the treatment of the people who work there.

We had such a lovely stay here. My friend and I were arriving on separate flights — we booked transfers through the riad and both went smoothly. The taxi drops you off and you are met by a local (arranged by riad) to help transfer luggage across the square to the riad. (We each gave a 20dh tip which was very gratefully received)
Brahim welcomed us and served our dinner. He was a wonderful host! We didn't get the names of other staff but they were all lovely. Rooms were spotless.
We had arranged dinner for the night for our arrival and it was very tasty. Wine, beers, water etc are available to purchase.
The cushions on roof terrace furniture had been put away due to rain but staff were happy to set these up when the sun was shining again.
We were leaving at 7am and we were able to have breakfast before we left.
It would be hard to find on your own the first time, but this isn't uncommon for a riad. Once you know where it is, it is very simple. It's extremely close to djemma. Price and quality ration is brilliant — would happily stay here again!
I had lots of questions before our arrival and the communication with the riad was always great.

They cancelled the reservation for our whole group of more than 20 people without even giving us an explanation and an apology. The manager in France was completely useless as he didn't even know what was happening and he didn't even try to help us. Definitely a very unprofessional crew.
