A gorgeous, very friendly riad in the heart of the Medina. Couldn't have wanted more — clean and chic rooms, huge breakfast spread each morning and incredibly kind hosts who were more than a happy to support in local recommendations and booking taxis. Would recommend staying to anyone!

We had an AMAZING stay in Riad Cinnamon! Mohsin, Hassan and the rest of the team are such Nice and friendly people.
We had a turbulent stay in Marrakech with a lot of problems, but the team of the Riad helped us with everything! Listen to everything they recommend to visit, because all of it was amazing! Mohsin helped us to use the map so that we would not get lost again in all the small streets of Marrakech. Finally, I highly recommend having dinner at the Riad if you want to have the best Tajine experience (go for the lamb! )

We had the most wonderful stay at Cinnamon Riad in Marrakech! From the moment we arrived, we felt so warmly welcomed. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make us feel at home. A special thank you to Zackariah—he truly made our stay unforgettable, always going the extra mile with kindness and genuine care.
The cook was incredible, and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious—one of the highlights of our mornings. The attention to detail, the warm hospitality, and the overall atmosphere made this stay so special.
We can’t recommend Cinnamon Riad enough. It was perfect in every way, and we’re so grateful to the entire team for such a beautiful experience.

It was amazing! The location is perfect, the rooms are beautiful and the breakfast is delicious. Really nice there is a swimmingpool where you can go swimming when its too hot!

We had a pleasant stay at Riad Cinnamon with our family. The location is excellent—right in the heart of the medina, just a short walk from the souks and restaurants. The staff were lovely and especially child-friendly, which made our visit even more comfortable.
A special mention to our host, Mohsine, who was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our stay. He made sure we had everything we needed and was always available to assist with any questions or requests.
Breakfast was served daily in the courtyard, and it was a lovely way to start the day—fresh, simple, and tasty.
At first glance, the riad is charming with a traditional feel. However, on closer inspection, it does show signs of wear, especially in our bathroom and could benefit with a bit of refreshing up to restore it back to its full potential. That said, the overall experience was still enjoyable, and we truly appreciated the warm hospitality.

The riad is situated in a great location, within the medina walls so right near the souk etc.
The breakfast was plentiful and freshly cooked.
Mohsin, the riad guardian is very helpful and friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. Any issues were dealt with appropriately and we felt very safe there.
Mohsin organised a hamman at riad Star which was an interesting experience and also organised taxis to/from the airport making things very easy for us to start our trip hassle free.

Riad Cinnamon is wonderful and I totally recommend a stay there. We were there just four nights, it felt like a home from home. Beds are comfy, the towels and dressing gowns are soft and fluffy. This was such a peaceful and luxurious stay right in the Medina of the old city. Safe and comfortable.
The location is perfect for exploring the souks and you can even arrange a storytelling session or cooking lesson close by. Our host Mohsine tended to our every need and all of the staff were kind and helpful. Fresh tea or coffee was available anytime and the breakfast was awesome. If there is anything you like for breakfast and its in the kitchen, they will bring it. It's so close to Madrasa Ben Youssef, museums and cafes, so you will not be short of things to do. Mohsine was so kind and helpful, he even printed out our boarding passes, offered to arrange a taxi, and checked in with us everyday. Thanks also to the staff who were all great. We will visit again.

We are so glad we did not do a hotel instead we stayed at the cinnamon riad. The place was beautiful, quaint, quite intimate. Communication from the states was very easy and they were very responsive. Once we were there Mohsin and the staff Was very accommodating to all of our needs, especially serving us a wonderful meals. We had stayed in the room that is meant for four people. Just keep in mind the rooms are very small so I think it really is meant for two adults and maybe two teens. Everything was so beautiful that I did not mind. Staying in the Medina really made us experience Marrakesh. One of the highlights of our trip!

Location was the most important bit of this hotel. Every main attraction was few minutes walk away. Excellent room, breakfast was superb and cleanliness was A*.
All down to extra hardworking staff especially khalid who was so helpful and friendly.
I highly recommend this place.

Choosing to stay in a raid over a hotel during your Marrakesh trip is choosing to stay in an, often, renovated historical family home or merchant’s house. You will find your accommodation far more aesthetically authentic; they often feature a dipping pool within an open-topped central courtyard, hand-made furniture throughout, and a roof terrace adorned with sun-loving plants.
Riad Cinnamon is this and much more.
From the moment I booked to our last escort through the narrow shopping alleys, we couldn’t have felt more lavished on.
Communication over email started a few weeks before our stay, at this stage we confirmed our flight details and any transfer needs, we also requested that we have dinner at the Riad on our first evening and left our menu choices in their hands – it was, and still is, the best lamb and date tagine we tried in Morrocco.
On our arrival day, we were met by our driver, who was holding a Riad Cinnamon logo and sign. We slipped into the air-conditioned minivan and then experienced the bullish style of Moroccan driving for the first time, it was an eye-opener and a giggle-inducing event – it’s impossible to dive over 10-20mph in the city and the special awareness of the roads users is awe-inspiring.
Our driver dropped us off at a taxi rank, this is as close to our Riad as he could get.

It's an old riad in the very heart of the Medina. Close to the main square and places like Cafe Arabe. We'll decorated. Rooms are cool and spacious, with a fridge and safe. Nice walk in shower.
Lovely rooftop terrace which was great for breakfast and enjoying a glass or two of an evening.

Absolutely amazing stay at Riad Cinnamon! Went with 10 girls for my sister’s Hen Do and we could not have asked for more. Mint tea and coffee on arrival, very clean, amazing food. The staff especially were outstanding. Mohsin was our personal guardian throughout our stay and he was just totally helpful with anything we wanted, never a problem. He was always happy and just willing to answer our questions, book our taxi’s and even made sure we got home safely. Hassan would walk us too and what a very pleasant man. We visited Riad Star for a massage and we were welcomed here too in such politeness. Thank you so very much, we could not be happier! Highly recommend Riad Cinnamon!

Riad Cinnamon is a haven of peace in the Dar El Bacha district of the Médina. It is exceptionally clean and quiet, all of the rooms are tastefully and authentically decorated, with very comfortable beds and gorgeous Egyptian cotton bedding.
I organised a group stay and we were welcomed by live musicians as soon as the Riad door opened (thank you so much Abdou! ) followed by delicious welcome salads.
The Riad staff were incredibly welcoming and kind, nothing was too much trouble, throughout our whole stay. A huge thank you to Agoub, Hassan and Shamira for your wonderful hospitality and delicious food. We had a couple of guests who are vegan and the attention to detail over providing appropriate breakfast items was fantastic. We had breakfast on the roof terrace most mornings overlooking the Médina with the snow capped Atlas Mountains in the distance. The perfect way to start the day!
We were treated to mint tea and pastries every time we returned from exploring and the dipping pool is a welcome play to cool your hot feet after walking around Marrakech. Fresh bottled water was also an also available throughout our stay.
The staff are on hand to help make any arrangements for you. As we had a group, they helped arrange a minibus to Jardin Marjorelle which was very cost effective and helped to maximise our time.
