Riad Chorfa

We stayed at Riad Chorfa for my sisters-in-law’s 60th Birthday celebrations from the 1st to 6th October, Angela Yarwood. This was my wife’s and my first visit to Morocco and Marrakech so had an element of excitement and trepidation.
Marrakech was colourful, entertaining and the Souks were mad, but the Riad itself is excellently position in the old medina and provided an oasis of peace and tranquillity amongst the madness that is Marrakech.
A huge shout out to the host, Cedric, and his wonderful team:
Aziz, Rachid, Abdul, Amina and Mohammed, who made the trip both memorable and, where possible, hassle feel.
I would highly recommend Riad Chorfa to any large groups who want an oasis to retire to whilst enjoying the entertainment that Marrakech offers.

Looking for a relaxing location for your holidays, look no further. Riad has a pool, private rooftop lounge and cosy rooms. Riad is located within the market so shopping is made easy.

A wonderful place to stay in the Medina of Marrakech. Yan Cedric and all the staff are amazing so helpful and always available to help with booking trips, airport transfers etc. The facilities are great and it is really relaxed. They also serve breakfasts and other meals. They also have 5 tortoises that live in the courtyard and a fantastic plunge pool to cool off after a hot day in the Medina.

Loved our stay at Riad Chofra. Host was very helpful. Excellent location in the Medina.
Swimming pool is heated. They also do dinner and breakfast, but needs to be ordered in advance.

We stayed 6 days in the Riad. It is located in the old Medina, but away from the hustle and bustle of Jema El Efna. It has a beautiful little pool to keep cool during the hot days. It also has a few day beds on the roof to watch the sunset or to just chill. The staff were so lovely and helpful, they gave us a lot of recommendations for attractions and also where to eat and to change money etc. There are also 4 little turtles walking around by the pool during the day. We absolutely loved our stay in the Riad and will definitely come back when we are back in Marrakech.
About a 10 mins walk to the Riad from the main road as cars are not allowed in the old Medina. It did not bother us, but bear in mind there is a bit of a walk to get to it, like any other riads in the old Medina.

Right in the heart of the medina, Riad Chofra is an amazing location with attentive staff! We stayed here for 4 nights, running around the city, doing excursions, etc. Their meals are great and we couldnt reccommend this stay enough!

Our first time in Morocco, and we couldn’t have found a better placed to stay.
Good early communication from the owner with advice and potential trips. Booked airport shuttle through the Riad also.
Room was full of character with many nice touches in the decor (see photos)
There are plenty of places to relax around the Riad, particularly the roof garden which has amazing views across the city, and further to the Atlas Mountains.
We booked a guide on the first morning (again through the Riad) which really helped us see the city in context, and took us to places we would never have found on our own.
We took excursions to OurikaValley which included waterfall hike, a real Berber market, and a fabulous lunch.
We also took a camel ride in the Agafay Desert, which was superb (again, booked through the Riad)
The staff couldn’t have been more helpful.
Location was a short walk to the Jemma al Fna, and to many attractions.
We would come back anytime….

Beautifully Moroccan space and rooms, very central location and wonderful attentive staff. The Riad is one of my favourite places to stay in Marrakesh full of local creativity and warmth.

I stayed at this Riad with my girlfriend as an impulse holiday to Marrakesh. The place had a beautiful aesthetic around the pool in the main central courtyard, it was very peaceful when we stayed as it wasn't long after the earthquake, but it didn't deter us.
The staff there was extremely friendly, kept asking if we needed any assistance and gave us some advice for when we roamed around.
The food there was good, an easy snack if needed.
The room we stayed in was lovely, although the shower pressure wasn't the best, I understand the design probably has its limits being on the top floor.
Location couldn't be any better, very near the square with a nice walk through the souks. This being said, was still quiet in the Riad even though it's very near all the Hussle and Bussle.

Lovely Riad, very friendly welcoming staff who do anything to help. We will return.

One of the best places to visit while in Morocco. Hands down the nicest people ever. The staff are beyond belief helpful and kind. People around the world take notes on how to be kind to others.

It was lovely, the people that are working here are amazing, helpfull and sweet!
The food was so good, only the breakfust was a little to less but all the other things are top!
Thank you to make our trip to marrakech so lovely.
We didn't knew people can be so nice!
