Riad Afous

We had a wonderful stay in Riad Afous. It truly is a gem, tucked away in a very central location. The property is gorgeous and is meticulously maintained. The breakfast was delicious and the entire staff was extremely attentive. We wouldn't hesitate to go back, everything about the stay was perfect!

We had the most amazing stay at this Riad in the heart of Marrakech. Tucked away in a quiet alley of the Medina, it’s a true hidden gem. The moment we stepped inside, we felt the magic of the place – peaceful, authentic and beautifully curated.
With only four rooms, it offers privacy and a cozy, exclusive feel. But what made our experience truly exceptional was the staff: from the ladies who served a rich and delicious breakfast every morning, to the kind man who welcomed us late at night, everyone was warm, attentive and genuinely caring.
A special thank to Ibra, the manager, who went above and beyond to help us, even outside of his working hours. He stayed in contact with us when we were delayed during our airport transfer, gave us clear directions and made sure everything was perfect for our arrival – at almost 2am! He also provided great recommendations and tips for our stay.
If you’re looking for an authentic, welcoming experience in Marrakech, don’t think twice – book this Riad!

Daughter and I stayed four nights and wish we’d stayed longer. Ibris met us on arrival with mint tea and lots of information and tips. We were late arriving and so he booked us a table in the area for a bite to eat which was great. All the staff were fabulous and the breakfast served up by Sana and colleagues and prepared by Latifa was so generous and tasty. We were leaving early on our last day and breakfast was arranged for us without us asking for the flexibility, just an example of how accommodating they were. The Riad itself has very generous rooms and as already mentioned is a little oasis and the rooftop terrace was a welcome addition for an hour in between sightseeing. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a central spot in the old town. Thank you to all the staff for a great few days.

The intricate details of the architecture, the peace and quiet of the property and rooms, and the extremely friendly and helpful staff were all beautifully curated, making the entire stay very pleasant and memorable. The rooms are spacious, and breakfast is served with the delightful sound of birds singing in the background.

On the last night Ashraf made a nice tea and cared to bring extra light on the rooftop as I was reading there, Sana extremely friendly brought a very nice breakfast with a beautiful smile and Ibra was super helpful and reassuring with his tips on how to go around and enjoy the city!

We fell in love with this Riad, and left a little of our hearts behind with the wonderful people who work here… The Riad is perfectly placed right in the heart of the Medina, and yet peaceful and quiet inside. Beautifully renovated and decorated in traditional Moroccan style. We had the bedroom on the ground floor which was stunning. An enormous room complete with being fully tiled and a gorgeous hand painted ceiling. Also, the Riad only has 4 bedrooms, so you won't be over-run with other people. But maybe the best thing about this Riad are the people who work there. Each and every one of them were so friendly and helpful (including Latiffa the wonderful cook and the cleaning staff right though to the Riad managers). Sana and Ibra were both full of knowledge on the local area, more than happy to help on anything, and a joy to spend time chatting to. If you're thinking of going to Marrakech, go here! We didn't want to leave.

Great location! Very beautiful interior. Spending a few nights in such a beautiful Riad with those fine architectural details was an amazing experience. Very clean rooms and specious. The breakfast was very good. The staff were super friendly and always happy to help. Sana, Ibrahim and Ashraf (If I spel the names correctly) were amazing hosts.

The riad is a real favorite! Magnificently decorated and impeccably maintained, it exudes authenticity. The rooftop swimming pool is a little gem that invites you to relax. The room, spacious and warm, offers absolute comfort. You immediately feel good there, like in a cocoon. It’s the perfect place to recharge your batteries and enjoy a unique experience. The staff is attentive, always available and remarkably kind, which makes the stay even more pleasant. A real little corner of paradise!

Just perfect, we stayed 5 nights in this small, very well located Riad. Hidden in a small alley it offers an intimate atmosphere, the perfectly preserved and maintained building contains only 4 rooms, which provides royal attention to guests.
Ibra impeccable in service and availability is always ready to advise us, he made our stay very pleasant, Sanaa is just as wonderful, she served us an INCREDIBLE breakfast (no but really, the breakfast is unbeatable) all in the mornings, with a permanent smile, the night watchman and the staff in general make you feel at home.
The room is very spacious and air-conditioned, nicely decorated with a Moroccan-style bathroom, the large and comfortable bed… nothing to complain about, we also didn't miss out on enjoying the small swimming pool on the rooftop.
If we come back to Marrakech, Riad Afous will be our choice again! Thanks for everything!

We spent a few days in Marrakech with friends and we chose this Riad. Our stay could not have been better, the service was impeccable, everyone is super friendly and helpful, the pool is something that is greatly appreciated, it was undoubtedly the best of our experience. Totally recommended.

Amazing stay start to finish. My partner and I just returned from 5 days in Marrakech and this was the perfect home from home. The friendly staff could not do enough for us and we were incredibly well looked after with brilliant service and delicious food and treats! This is the best service we’ve ever experienced.
The place itself is a sanctuary from the busy streets of the Medina, within minutes from the main attractions and well located for exploring this gem of a city. Comfy bed, beautiful rooms and interiors. We particularly enjoyed breakfast and tea on the roof terrace in the sun!

Me and my husband stayed for 7 nights. We are glad and happy to visit Marrakech for the first time and stayed at Riad Afous. They made you feel like home. They took a good care of you and make sure that you feel safe, comfortable at any time. Whenever we need them, they are always there for sure. Very friendly and kind people.
