Numa was a great choice for our visit to Marrakesh. We wanted to be in among the souks, but wanted to be able to escape if it got overwhelming, and Numa was perfect for this.
The welcome was friendly and the location was central and surprisingly easy to find. There are plenty of restaurants and small shops nearby, and it's only around 15 minutes walk to the main square where you can pick up a taxi.
Our room was stylish, comfortable and quiet, complete with a small private roof terrace for watching the sunset and the stars. The bathroom was well kitted out and the shower pressure was good, as was the hairdryer.
Worth noting that the riad is quite open, so if you're a light sleeper, I'd recommend taking some ear-plugs, just in case of noisier fellow guests.
Breakfast was excellent, with fruit, yogurt, breads and pastries, and eggs available on request. Breakfast also sometimes came with a visit from one of the friendly resident tortoises.
All the staff members were helpful and had great tips and advice on places to visit and restaurants worth going to. They also helped get us through the souk to a taxi to a very early morning flight when we were leaving.
All in all, an excellent base for exploring the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh.
It’s a beautiful place with great location and amazing staff…. However, during my stay the hotel cat bit my leg. The cost, time, and stress caused by this situation have been significant. I needed a serious of rabies vaccination when I arrived back home.
I wrote to the hotel for some sort of acknowledgment or apology but I got ignored.
What I find particularly concerning is that a hotel open to international guests would keep a visibly unpredictable and feisty animal on the premises, especially in common areas like the pool or terrace or hotel lobby. While I appreciate the charm that pets can bring to a hotel setting, guest safety must come first!

5 stars well deserved. A Clean, modern, chic Mediterranean styled Riad in the heart of the Medina district. Tucked away in the ancient backstreets making it incredibly quiet despite the central location. The staff were kind, professional and efficient, the breakfast was perfect each day. The owners are onsite too, both very friendly, giving this a personal touch. Highly recommended.
