IZZA Marrakech

We have been on 3 riads in Medina during our 10 days stay in October 2025 and this one was the best. Great people working there, great service and amazing atmosphere. I had to buy similar sent oils to have a piece of this place at home. It is in the north of Medina but it is worth to stay there. Enjoy your stay.

We stayed at IZZA for 5 nights over New Years (married Australian couple in our 40s). We did a lot of research and wanted to stay in the Medina. We did were so happy with our choice. It’s an exceptional Riad with well thought out decor, food, ambience and staff. Beautiful and well curated art work. We felt so welcome and cared for the whole stay. A very memorable 25 minute walk through the Souks down to Jemaa el-Fnaa. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were incredible every time, the New Year’s party very memorable. The staff are exceptionally friendly, skilled and clearly proud to work at IZZA. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return.

Stylish, comfortable with beautiful design details at every turn, Izza is a treat in the medina. The staff is so friendly, and every space is so thoughtfully created and comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious, and we had dinner at the riad two nights, which we also really enjoyed. There is interesting artwork throughout the property and the gift shop is full of items you would love to take home. We loved our stay and would return.

Great place to stay. As a first time visitor to Marrakech the hotel didn't look like very much from the outside, however once you enter the main entrance it's a completely different experience. It's very artsy, colourful, and pretty. Service is great, the rooms are cosy and the bathroom shower is amazing. I would definitely stay here again if I had the chance.

Izza was, simply put, magical. The hotel was exquisitely decorated and maintained. It was an oasis of luxury with so many hidden elements and place to relax. The food was outstanding as was the service. I am tempted to return Morocco just to hide away at Izza for a week!

We stayed at IZZA for 4 nights, during time we treated to a wonderful experience at the hands of welcoming and friendly staff. From arrival to departure, every member of staff made our stay enjoyable.
The Riad is beautifully designed, curated and maintained with rooms airy and extremely comfortable. We booked Yves, which was exactly as it was described when booking. Housekeeping is very attentive without being overbearing with the whole hotel being spotlessly clean. It is very clear that all staff maintain a sense of pride about the Riad.
The food is exceptional with meals taken in Noujoum on the rooftop. Plentiful choice, with a mix of seafood, meat and vegetarian allow you to explore the tastes of Marrakech. The spices light up your senses without over-powering the main ingredients. Breakfast is a joy, from home-made pancakes and muffins to sourdoughs and awesome Loubia. Evening meals, taken whilst wrapped in blankets and gas lights and heaters flickering were so good. We ate here every night without repeating any dishes – and every meal was thoroughly enjoyed. The service was perfect, attentive yet discrete.
The super-friendly and helpful front desk team arranged guides for us for multiple trips and genuinely went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and fulfilling. The walking tours of the Medina (History on Day 1, Souks and Artisans on Day 2 with Mustafa) were thoroughly enjoyable, taken at a lovely pace and excellent value for money.

Had lunch here and the food was fantastic! Worth going. Best we had in Marrakesh! We had several small plates and some larger plates too share. I think their popular stuff the croquettes and the octopus were good but didn’t steal the show. But the Monkfish tagine was a dream I’m still thinking about. The flavours worked so well with the meaty monkfish. Their Harissa shrimp was amazing, the perfect amount of spice with a kick of grilled lemon. Wow!
Hotel itself looked lovely. They were sold out for our dates but I would definitely consider staying here as well!

Loved the rooms, the pools, rooftop patios, the spa and the restaurant. Izza is a very peaceful and inviting space. In addition, the staff were always incredibly helpful arranging cars, dinner reservations, etc and very friendly and accommodating. Made our experience in Marrakech truly memorable.

We stayed two nights at IZZA and really enjoyed our stay! The atmosphere and design of the Dar was the perfect calming contrast to the busyness of the city. The roof terrace with the breakfast area, restaurant and sun-beds was our highlight.

Beautiful hotel, with immaculate attention to detail. The hotel is beautifully presented, and the quality is extremely high. There is plenty of communal space, and we particularly loved the snug library & the abundance of plants on the rooftop. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the edible treats left in the room every day — a lovely touch. The drivers the hotel recommend were also excellent. The location is just outside the main centre which was a welcome relief. The room (Cecil) was a little on the small side, but the bathroom was generous.

I have stayed in hotels all over the world and this hotel rates as one of the best if not the best I’ve had the pleasure of staying in. It was a tranquil escape from the chaotic and vibrant city of Marrakesh. Our bedroom was on the ground floor within a beautiful courtyard with a small swimming pool. We spent some pleasurable hours sitting outside our room at a table having a few drinks. The very attractive bar and restaurant were located on the rooftop terrace. The breakfast was superb with many different Moroccan dishes and fruits on offer all beautifully presented.
The staff were all extremely attentive. In particular Selma on reception who organised some delightful dinner restaurants for us particularly an authentic Moroccan restaurant only 2 minutes away from the hotel.
Thank you all the IZZA staff — you should be very proud of yourselves.

We have travelled and stayed in hotels all over the world. The experience we had in the IZZA was second to none. The reception, the food especially the breakfast and the service were all exceptional. We can’t fault anything. A special mention for Selma in reception. She could not do enough for us including plan where we ate each night.
The experience in your hotel is something we will never forget.

It was our first time in Marrakech (and Morocco) and we wanted to stay in a riad in the Medina. After a lot of research, we decided on Izza for both an upscale and authentic experience. We had a wonderful time; the property is beautiful and thoughtfully decorated, we looked forward to breakfast every morning, and the Hotel staff were all very helpful with all our requests (transportation, walking tours, spa treatments). Would definitely recommend!

We had the most incredible experience at Riad Izza. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The riad itself is gorgeous – the architecture, styling and details are stunning, and the rooms are spacious with super comfortable beds.
The food from Nourjoum was incredible and the best we had in Marrakesh. Breakfast each morning was such a treat too, always fresh and delicious. We also had a massage at the spa which was so relaxing.
The staff really made the stay special. Karim, was amazing – so friendly and helpful, always giving us great tips and helping with reservations. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the whole team went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home.
They also booked us a tour with a fantastic guide, Mustapha, who gave us such an insightful and memorable experience of the Medina.
Honestly, we couldn’t fault a thing. Riad Izza was a highlight of our trip and we’d recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakesh!

Definitely one of the best places to stay in Medina. The restaurant is great. The rooms are very well equipped and spacious. It was a oasis of silence and luxury in the heart of busy and noisy Medina. The staff was great, very attentive and helpful.

We stayed in the Cecil room for 3 days and it was fantastic. The staff was so helpful and on top of things. The restaurant was amazing. We were supposed to eat at another restaurant for dinner one night, but we canceled to eat at Izza because it was so good. The whole riad is gorgeous and the little customized touches made it feel luxurious at a reasonable price. The location is great as well, walkable from the markets, but not in the center of the madness. We’ll definitely be back.
