Riad Dar Chadia

We were in a rooftop room with plenty of space, beautifully appointed. Comfortable king sized bed. Helpful employees who walked us in to the medina. 5 minute walk to to market. Good, plentiful breakfast. One of our favorite Riads.

The staff looked after us so well. They arranged an airport pick up and drop off, met us at the taxi and escorted us to the Riad. Very helpful and friendly throughout the stay. Many thanks to Abdilah, Siad, Aziza and Coraline. Comfortable room, nice terrace, lovely breakfast. Central location.
Like all Riads it’s down the back streets, safe neighbourhood but takes a couple of times to get used to the 3 minute route to the Main Street. Turn into the archway tab Les Bains Kenaria which is your landmark.

We had a very unpleasant experience with the management. I specified that my daughter and I are allergic to cats, as we had seen cats in the photos of the common areas. Management told us that it wouldn't be a problem and they would find a solution. However nothing was done, the cats were everywhere including in our room and on our bed. When we discussed this with management, they were very rude, dismissive and unhelpful. We had to search for another accommodation the next morning, as I was sick and my daughter was wheezing. On top of that she tried to charge us the tax when in fact it was already included in our booking. Be prudent when you book this place.

Beautiful quiet riad run by the fantastic hosts Said & Coralie. Rooms were comfortable and very clean plus the home cooked food was exceptional! The roof top terrace was ideal to chill out on after the craziness of the Medina. Highly recommend!

Staying at Riad Dar Chadia was truly one of the best parts of our trip to Marrakech. From the moment we arrived, Coralie and Saïd made us feel incredibly welcome — like we were visiting old friends rather than checking into a hotel.
The riad itself is a quiet, beautifully restored oasis just a short walk from the main square, yet completely removed from the noise and chaos of the medina. The decor is tasteful and full of authentic Moroccan charm, with comfortable rooms and cozy common spaces that instantly make you feel at home.
Each morning started with a delicious homemade breakfast on the terrace, and Coralie was always ready with great suggestions for places to eat, hidden spots to explore, and tips for navigating the city. Saïd even walked us to a few nearby locations to make sure we didn’t get lost!
Their hospitality was warm, genuine, and incredibly thoughtful — we felt not only cared for, but truly connected to the spirit of Marrakech.
If you’re looking for an authentic, peaceful, and personal experience in the heart of the city, Riad Dar Chadia is the place to stay. We left with wonderful memories — and new friends.

Staying at Riad Chadia was one of the highlights of my trip to Marrakech. Hidden away in a quiet alley just minutes from the bustling souks and Jemaa el-Fna square, this riad felt like a serene retreat from the vibrant chaos outside.
From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. Coralie and the team went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable — offering mint tea on arrival, helping with directions, and even arranging a last-minute hammam and dinner reservation. Their kindness and attention to detail truly made this stay special.
The riad itself is beautiful — full of traditional Moroccan charm, with a lovely inner courtyard, intricately tiled floors, and a rooftop terrace perfect for morning coffee or sunset views. My room was cozy, clean, and tastefully decorated, with everything I needed for a restful stay.
Breakfasts were generous and fresh, served with care each morning. I also appreciated the calm atmosphere in the evenings — the quiet hum of Marrakech in the background, and lanterns casting soft light across the patio.
If you're looking for an authentic, peaceful, and welcoming place to stay in the heart of the medina, Riad Chadia is a true gem. I would return in a heartbeat.

Riad dar chadia was an oasis in the hustle and bustle of Marakech. Perfect location for all attractions. Said and Coralie could not have done enough for us. They were the perfect hosts, beautiful Moroccan breakfast every morning, and organising beer and wine on their rooftop for us at evening time. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to marvellous Marakech. I would highly recommend it.

This is a lovely place, ideally located. Said and Coralie could not be nicer. They arranged an airport transfer for us and then Said came to collect us from the parking spot. The room was lovely and big and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was plenty and very nice. The riad is within a few minutes walk of most tourist attractions, but still quiet at night. They also helped us determine the right prices for rugs and they prepared a takeaway breakfast for us when we needed to leave early. Would absolutely stay again.

Perfect place to explore Marrakesh from. The owners were lovely, knowledgeable and very helpful. The whole place was spotless, comfortable and very peaceful. I will come back and I would definitely recommend it.

Great little riad well located hosts Said & Coralie are very helpful. We stayed in the Doree suite which was on the third floor which meant we had easy access to the roof terrace. The suite was clean and big the bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at the suite in the rooftop of this charming riad. The brothers Rashid and Said were extremelly good hostesses. Location is great for the medina, quiet, clean and the breakfast plentiful. We will return to Marrakesh and to the riad one day. Highly recommended and value for your money.

We are just back from a 4 day stay in this wonderfull riad. Coralie and Said were most helpfull and accomodating and hospitable. The riad itself is very nicely decorated and the breakfast was top! Even though it is in the middle of the medina and very close to Jefnaa it is very quiet. I highly recommend.

Can’t fault location (for 5 min walk access to square and Bahia palace), service (Said and Coralie are warm and wonderful hosts) and the quality of the room and shared areas. Breakfast good and loved the access to terrace, rooftop. Rooms were large and included a tea kettle and tea/coffee. Would recommend!
