We asked the property to cancel the booking due to a positive Covid test. This is a case of force majeure and not a deliberate decision. I have already obtained cancellations without non-refundable booking fees with other hotels much smaller than this one. It is quite doable. It is a question of mentality and humanity. Faced with a human situation of illness, this establishment has prioritized profit. They could have shown understanding and made at least one commercial gesture such as giving us a credit note or offering us to change the dates for example. The response to our request is so disappointing and it damages the image of this establishment and its commercial policy. Outlook for Android.
