Good staff very acomodating. Slightly further out than anticipated however fine. Issues with hot water, for the duration of the stay. Resulting in a sub standard spa treatment. English and French was spoken. Riad is very instagramable. Very nice place to stay. Just make sure you bring good comfortable shoes to walk to the main square (its aboit 30mins) down some back ally streets (be careful) u may get acossed but it was no where as bad as people had made it out. We used Here maps (app) allowed u to download maps of Marrakech so your able to navigate offline. As asking for directions isn't recommended. All in all a nice place to stay for a different experience of Marrakech.

Super friendly staff, great breakfast, just 10 minutes of the big square of Marrakech. The rooms are big, but in february they were a little cold and there was just a small heater. Wear some pyama's and you will be fine. The riad feels a little remote, but it isn't that far from the crowded centre, and it's actually nice and quit. The swimming pool isn't really a pool, more a bath, but the style of the house is in good shape and it was a nice first night in Marocco.

The rooftop is so dirty and when asked if someone would clean it or even just give clean towels, it never happened. Bathrooms all had something broken: toilets, taps hanging off the walls, some showers only boiling hot, others only cold water, cracks in the toilet, leaking sinks. The kitchen upstairs was ran by one lady — it was not supposed to be open to guests but we ended up cutting our own fruit that we had to buy because their idea of breakfast was a basket of bread and some cakes that came from a package. We were there on a yoga retreat and had previously asked for fruit even months before arriving. To top it off — bed linen was not always clean and took days to get fresh sheets. Towels were only given when asked and again it took days. One girl had a stinking wet towel on her bed… made into a swan but still dirty and wet. Why?! Manager sits there smoking + leaves a mess in to space where people are supposed to get their first impression of a beautiful riad… hmmm. He was friendly but honestly felt like he was more interested in smoking + chatting with all the girls than resolving the issues with the riad. The riad could be nice but it's just not been looked after.

Very pleasant stay at the riad. The places are very beautiful in the drc at the roof top. I will return with pleasure.

Quaint is the word that comes to mind. The Riad Jnane Jdid is a beautifully restored old private residence that has been turned into a guesthouse at some point. It only has 6 rooms. The accommodations are very nice, just not luxurious. This Riad is right next to the garden Terrain Charij that seams to be newly planted. In time the place will be a real asset to the Riad. The Quartier Jnane Lâafia, south of the Riad is under renovation so the hole area will be very nice in a few years. But now it is in a quiet area of the city with only a short walk to anyplace in the old town. They offer every available service, but cant quite deliver. If you want dinner, let them know at the start of your day. They get dinner delivered so it is a good idea to let them know early. Your best bet is to skip dinner at the hotel and go to one of the restaurants in a walking distance from the Riad. The place is clean and the service is very friendly. If they would just stick to what they are good at, this would be a 5 star guesthouse in stead of a 2 star hotel. A good idea is to go online and read the online revues of restaurants. Just skip the most glorying ones. It seams that there are many places that cant quite live up to their online revues. You can quickly spot the ones that are written by visiting tourists and not friends.

Stayed here in September '15 and it was an amazingly welcoming and authentic Riad. It's in a great location too.

It is very hard to put into words how outstanding this property is. I can not think of anything that could have been better. Our room was as good as it gets, very palatial. The welcoming mint tea made addicts out of us. It was really a beautiful place to stay! After a terrible arrival at night time in the Medina. The service and the food was perfect. The ambient and the design was marveled. For sure, we'll come again.
