Riad Elite

We really enjoyed our one night stay at this riad. Although it’s quite difficult to find the door because it hasn’t got any signs or door number, a very friendly neighbour called the host and allowed us to come in. The beds were really comfortable.

The breakfast was included, and the location was ideal — close enough to the medina that everything was in walking distance but far enough so that it felt safe and relaxed. Would recommend!

I booked 2 nights at Riad Elite through Expedia. When I arrive they told me they didn’t receive the info from Expedia…. And they were full (no room available) And they said it was « my » problem…. They offered me tea and then they said the solution is to bring me to another Riad of their for one night and then move back to riad Elite… this didn’t suit my needs and it is not what I had paid for…. Etc etc… the day after I spent 3 hours in 2 différent police station. Finally an employee from the Riad came to the police station to give me back the money (I had paid with visa through Expedia). I couldn’t let them go on like this. No one should trust them. There are so many Riads, choose another one!

I had an amazing time at this Riad. The rooms were beautiful, and we enjoyed daily room service. Breakfast was included and was excellent. I especially want to highlight the attention we received from Amine—he was incredibly kind and took care of us throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Everything was amazing. If I need to go again for sure I will choose the same place. Amine is super nice person he took care of us all the time. Highly recommended.

The riad was perfect but I want to tell to the clients please be careful don’t accept any guide from the riad all the things are priced when I had trip to the desert they told me carful from the driver but when I was with driver I found everything is shear same things by half price was surprise for me especially they told me be careful from the driver.

Unfortunately the bad reviews are all true! Please stay away from that riad and don’t waste your money for nothing! The way the woman spoke on the phone was never appropriate. We booked, went, and they didn't allow us to enter. They told us, you can't because the time and the way you speak are really rude. And very far away from main square. 40-30minutes walk to get to the worst place ever, the manager lady she has zero concern for her guests she is so rude. Please guys stay away.

Unfortunately I should have checked the Google maps reviews before doing the reservation on Booking. This place has no conditions for you to stay on it. We had so many issues that it is hard to imagine a hotel could be this bad. Would not advise you to stay here.

Great riad. I booked this riad a bit skeptical since there were good and bad reviews. Here is a sincere one. We arrived and were nicely greeted by the manager, he showed us our room which was on three rooftop since it was the biggest room (we were 4). The AC worked great, we were given clean towels and the room was big. Everything positive up to this point. My only two complaints were that the beds weren’t very comfortable and the bathroom was small and the bath space was very limited. Location was good since most of the places in the Medina are reacher by walking. The manager recommended us various places including restaurants, money exchange and touristic places to visit. He also gave us tips on how to avoid scams which was very well considered. Breakfast time was from 8:30 to 10:30, and they kindly brought us our breakfast to the rooftop. The hospitality here was amazing. Overall, considering the price and the quality, it is amazing, thank you so much for everything! I am definitely returning.

WOW! We had the most amazing stay at Riad Elite made by such a welcoming host, Emmy and his incredible team. 5 star service with breakfast and always returning to a tidy room. Emmy was so helpful and never hesitated to offer his advice. We will DEFINITELY be back.

Unfortunately the bad reviews are all true! Be careful! Stay away!
We book the deluxe room but when we came, the employee took our passport to first check us in. Then he tells us that our room is not available. It is too late for us to leave. Because he already check us in…
They gave us two rooms far apart without windows. Smell mold and feel like a grave. My friend is sick after one night. They charge us full price for deluxe room. We saw that they gave our room to other customers… who are more in number and paid more.
The manager lady is very clever and use negotiation and argument tactic to get her money. She has zero concern or empathy for her guest. This is a clever business. Also very very far away from Main square. 40 minute walk. The street is unsafe.

I was considering whether to give this Riad 5 or 4 stars. In the end I have decided to give it four stars to be fair. A little problem is I don't have really much to compare it to, when it comes to other Riads or stay over places in Marakkech, so I don't really know what are the local standarts. I could even understand somebody giving this place a 3 star review. I will start with the negative parts, but there were not many. I am not really aware what are the hygiene standarts in Morocco, but from my perspective, the place could had been prepared a little bit better. But to be fair, the price of the stay was relatively low, so it wasn't such a big of a deal. There wasn't a mess, the beds and rooms were nicely prepared, but there were some parts, which could had been cleaned, before a guest arrives. Another thing which wasn't the best was the Wi-Fi coverage. The Wi-Fi router was in the ground floor, so in the lobby or perhaps rooms nearby the signal was great. Our room was on the opposite side and one floor above, so the signal wasn't reaching our room properly, we were getting disconnected very often on our phones, while being on our phones.
Other than this we didn't really experience any other issues and the place was great. The staff was always very helpful and nice to us. When we asked, they served us tea or coffee for free (I was asking whether we could get some tea, that I am willing to pay for it and they refused money for it).

I was here for only 1 night as I wanted to experience a riad. This one is very nice and cute, we stayed in the balcony room as we were 4 guests. The worker Amin is very very nice, helped us save a lot of money buy telling us how to avoid scams. He was very welcoming and made us feel very special. The breakfast spread is exquisite! definitely recommend.

My family and I only stayed one night here but I must say we loved it. The Riad was so clean and staff were very welcoming. I want to say a huge thank you to Emine who really showed us amazing hospitality and provided a delicious breakfast. Emine went above and beyond and informed us of the must visit places during our time in Marrakesh and recommended food options to us which was so helpful. I am for sure going to be coming back!

Please stay away! I made a booking for 4 nights. I missed my flight on the first day, I told the hotel I would come on the 2nd day and they agreed. When I arrived on the 2nd day, the hotel had cancelled my reservation of 4 nights. I just arrived after a long trip, knew no where in Morocco and they insisted that I no longer had a reservation after much conversation with a staff there. This was mind-boggling. I could clearly they was a empty room that was open and when I angrily went into it, they kept knocking and took my bags out. The lady Rabia is so rude and was not open to any dialogue at all.
Such cold and inhumane treatment!
Long story short, they just stole my money and sold my reservation to someone else.
