Riad Daria Suites & Spa

My stay at the Riad Daria was great! The Riad is beautifully decorated and is exactly what I envisioned a Riad to look like. The staff is very friendly and willing to help where they can.
My first day here, I had a slip and fall incident (I didn't notice the slight drop in tile heights on the 2nd floor and lost my balance, hitting my right knee against the floor pretty hard). One of the maids saw me fall and ran to help me up. Although she did not speak much English, she tried her best to ask if I was okay. She then went to let the front desk girl (Kawtar) know to get me help. I went to my room to rest my leg and the two ladies, along with another staff member showed up to my room with a first aid kit and ice to help me tend to my injury. That was unexpected but very much appreciated because thankfully, I did not need the first aid kit as I did not have a cut but, the ice helped a lot with the bruising and slight swelling of my knee.
Breakfast was included and the items change everyday. They offer a variety of things suitable for any pallette. I had a traditional Moroccan Mesemmen (what looks to be something similar to Roti) with olives in it, mini pancakes with Nutella and honey, homemade style cake, coffee and freshly squeezed OJ. Another day I had crepes, cake, plain Msemmen and traditional Moroccan bread. The waiter (Yahya) is very attentive and makes sure that you have everything you need for an enjoyable meal.

Lovely quiet location but within the medina. Pre-arranged transport bought us from the airport and we had a satisfying meal before our first night. Each morning there was a breakfast selection provided, setting us up for the day. Great Riad to stay in with helpful and friendly staff.

Great riad, pretty decoration, nice staff, love Mariam very kind and polite, also the rest of the staff. Breakfast included, after the 2 day they didn't offer us more eggs, looks like the guys who served beakfast is multitasking in other shores at the same time. I booked through Expedia.
We stayed on the second floor, nice room and garden view, good size. A brighter lighting in the washroom would be nicer and replace the table lamps around the room. They are falling a part.
Small pool for when weather allowed.
Location is very walkable right in the Medina, safe and calm at night.
Food stands, kiosks, shops all close by. Hot water tank small, so after few minutes hot water is off until the tank heats the water again. Restaurant within the riad, also hamman/massage as you request the service. Sometimes they play loud music in the restaurant area by 11 pm usually off, but sometimes they start as early as 11am. More silent would be nicer to be able to enjoy the riad and just seating outside or just go up and take the sun in the upper level.
They charge 3 eur at night per guess for the city tax which is normal in most hotels these days, what upset me is that they did not want to charge my card since I booked with Expedia and clearly said $60cad for city tax and that I could pay with card at arrival, well was not the case. They insisted in cash. They should put that upfront that they don't take cards. Im guessing is because the fees.
After all, I recommend it 👌.

I had an unforgettable stay at this stunning riad in Morocco! The room was beautifully decorated, blending traditional Moroccan design with modern comfort. The food was absolutely incredible, with fresh, flavorful dishes that showcased the best of Moroccan cuisine. Every meal felt like a special experience. The hospitality was top-notch, making me feel warmly welcomed throughout my stay. Highly recommended, especially the chicken with lemon tajine!

This Riad is an excellent location. We were able to walk to all of the places we wanted to see (the secret garden, khotoubia, jmaa el fnaa, bahia palace etc). They have a rooftop restaurant that has excellent food at reasonable prices and the free breakfast was phenomenal. They varied the ftour each morning and the staff was very helpful, kind and charismatic. Meryem at the front desk was a highlight for us. The rooms are clean and quiet and well maintained.

We chose this Riad to stay in Marrakech for a 5 day stay and to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. Upon checking-in we had to prove we were married showing a marriage certificate (my husband is moroccan).
The room was ok, a bit small but had everything we needed… the staff was excellent, super nice and available. One of them received us and carried our luggage from the taxi to the Riad. The breakfast was one of the best I had. Very quiet at night and amazing to rest. Lovely sofas, gardens and very traditional Moroccan decor. Small but nice swimming pool to cool down when the weather is hot.
The Riad is located in a quiet area about 15min walking distance to Jemaa el-Fna.
If you are looking for a traditional Moroccan Riad I would highly recommend this one.

Finding the door is a bit tricky. A few signs indicating how to get to the door would be super helpful for guests :).
The place has a lot of character and lovely corners filled with little detail all around. It also has 2 rooftops, a minibar for cold drinks, and nice spots to enjoy the view.
I must highlight how attentive their staff is and their great work to make us feel home. Youseff was a GREAT host, and he made our stay a constant reason to be happy and comfortable from the moment we joined to the very end.

We stayed one night in Riad Daria but could have easily stayed longer! The spa experience really made this place stand out. We had a massage and private hammam which was great value and amazing! Naema was so smiley and made us feel really comfortable in the hammam, despite us having very limited French and not really knowing what to expect. She truly made our experience memorable. The riad is beautifully maintained and staff were friendly and super accommodating (such as arranging an earlier breakfast upon request). Thank you to Meriam who gave us a really warm welcome, answered all our questions and offered to show us around the riad. Our room was a small double with a lot of character, comfy bed and very clean. Breakfast was tasty and we also ate dinner at the in-house rooftop restaurant which had a good menu selection. We enjoyed the tajine dishes we ordered. The riad prefers cash payments (common in Marrakech and there is an ATM a 3 min walk away) although we found that we could pay for our meal with card. The riad is located in the Kasbah area which has streets that feel wider and perhaps more safe than the darkly lit streets at the heart of the medina, but the centre with lots more food options and sites of interest was still within walking distance of the riad, which is also a 10 min drive to the airport.

This is definitely one of the most beautiful and favorite riads in Marrakech, showcasing stunning Andalusian architecture. The rooms carry a unique, delightful fragrance, from amber to musk, and the professional staff are always eager to assist.
I also tried the spa, which I highly recommend for its excellent prices compared to others in the area, along with a fantastic hammam experience. The breakfast was simply perfect.

Stumbled across this Riad online when looking for a restaurant to eat at.
It is a beautiful riad with many areas to explore. We had a spectacular Moroccan meal the other evening and then we came back for a hammam and massage spa experience and wow it was incredible!
Nama was the lovely lady who did our spa experience and it was truly authentic and personal experience in a clean and cosy spa suite. She gave both me and my partner a full body massage and we both absolutely loved them! Nama made sure we were comfortable and enjoying the experience throughout. We even got some complimentary mint tea.
Would definitely recommend this experience to anybody wanting a true Moroccan experience and some rest and relaxation during your trip!

We had a great stay in this Riad! Kamal and his sidekick are very kind and do everything to ensure that your vacation goes wonderfully. The breakfasts are good and very generous!

My mother-in-law, daughter and I stayed at the Riad Daria Suites & Spa on our recent trip to Marrakech. Although we often travel, we had never been to Morocco before this trip, and it was truly a joy. The Daria is in the ancient walled city, which was maze-like and initially a little imposing. But we were greeted at the Daria by a kind, beautiful young woman named Mariam who instantly put us at ease. She gave us a tour of the Riad, and sat with us as she served us mint tea and cookies in the courtyard garden, and answered all of our questions. We soon soon felt relaxed, like we were family, and were at home (assuming, of course that our home was an ancient castle. )
The rooms were large and clean and graced with beautiful tiles, and artifacts, yet all necessary modern amenities were at our fingertips. And the food! I intentionally ordered lemon olive chicken tagine every day, and I am still trying to copy the recipe, to no avail. But the most wonderful aspect of our stay, was the people. Ysama (I am uncertain how to spell his name, and for this I apologize) became our unofficial guide through the City, and he was a gem.

Such a beautiful welcome, we were able to walk from the street and have a Hamman spa thanks to Salam who arranged the last minute booking.
The staff were exceptionally friendly considerate and welcoming. Khadisha was wonderful, spa was spectacular. I plan to return and would recommend to anyone looking for Hamman and massage.
Left feeling stress free, the peaceful environment was second to none.

Excellent hamman experience. Stayed here for our last night in Morocco. Room was small but clean. Bed and pillows comfortable. Staff at desk wonderful. Decided to have a hamman package. Hamman, massage, facial 105minutes. It was wonderful. Naima was fantastic, professional, takes pride in her work and a lovely person.

Absolute 10/10 experience, the staff are amazing and make sure you are well looked after. The breakfast is brilliant and so is the rooftop restaurant.
Easy walk and access to the city square.

Amazing Gem in Marrakech. This riad came as a breath of fresh air after a bad experience at another riad. This Riad is actually an old Palace of the Primcess, and it definitely looks like it. No detail is missed in this place, pure Mororrocan beauty everywhere. Also the host and staff goes above and beyond. Also the restaurant serves Amazing food. I would most certainly recommend and come back to this Riad top notch.

We booked and paid the Riad for 2 nights and 4 hours before they cancelled because of overbooking. That causes a lot of trouble for us and we have to pay lots more for another accommodation. There was even no excuse mail from the Riad!
