Riad 46

Absolutely perfect stay! Our group of 6 was greeted with the warm Moroccan hospitality. Our special appreciation for Walid and his brother to go above and beyond to make us feel right at home. We felt like staying at a big family / friends home rather than a hotel. This peaceful oasis in a safe neighbourhood is just a short walk away from all major sights. Grateful for creating a carefree experience for us as they organized for us a variety of transfers and activities. No need to have your whole trip planned in advance, they will provide you with very useful tips that will save you a lot of headache and money :)

I was supposed to stay there 2 nights and only stayed one, because it was inappropriate. I first had a room on the ground floor next to the pool; the chlorine from the pool was so bad that I could not stop coughing and I am not usually sensitive to such things. The attendee at the front desk himself had issues with this (his eyes were very red), and he offered to switch me to another room on the second floor, where is did not smell the chlorine from the pool. However, there was no soap (hand washing), the windows would not open, the water in the sink did not drain properly and neither did the shower, creating a large poodle of water all over the bathroom floor. My guide moved me to another place for the second night and the owner of the riad refused to reimburse my guide for the night I did not stay there. I would not go back there.

I booked a villa from them via Airbnb, everything looks great on the pictures, but I soon as I booked the villa, and paid for it for two days, I received a call from the host Ayoub telling me the villa is already booked but he have something better for me and my family, he said he will refund me the reservation from Airbnb, and should pay him directly and send the money to his master (Abderrahim Assghir) I still have the receipt from Wafa cash with the amount of $600.
So he send to this place away from Marrekech about miles in middle of nowhere, when we got the location he sent me a found a different guy who told he didn’t get paid from Ayoub, so he would let in, so I called Ayoub no answer, I started get afraid for my safety and the safety of my family, I went back to Marrekech and find a hotel for me and my family. The next day I called Ayoub no answer I kept calling no answer his is no longer working, I got scammed two time for the amount of $780 plus $600.
Be very careful with this people they are scammers. I had a terrible experience just want to shore my experience with anyone who’s trying to book with people. Be aware.

Very nice Riad. Everything was perfect, the rooms were clean and comfortables, The location was also perfect at a walking distance from the city center and in a nice neighborhood. The staff was very polite and friendly.

This Riad was perfect for first timers in Marrakesh. It was in walking distance from all the tourist attractions. A bit difficult to find at first… but had no problems after that. The room was perfect for what it was used which was usually just sleeping at night and showering. If we ever needed fresh towels, sheets and toilet paper we only had to ask. The water in the pool was freezing but I’m sure that it’s glorious in the hotter months. The breakfast was delicious every morning. This little gem was great also in the sense that you couldn’t hear the crowds and the traffic and beeping of horns from outside. You feel like you’re in your own little oasis. Walid the host of the Riad was amazing! He organised trips to the Hammam and a hot air balloon trip for us with a discount. He also advised us of the best bank machines to use, good places to eat. He was very attentive at all times without being overbearing and in our faces. He showed great humour in all interactions went out of his way to give us tips oh shopping etc….
See you again in the future.

The place was clean, the staff was super friendly and ready to help for whatever we needed. The breakfast was amazing, a big variety of options and very nice quality food. They let us check in a bit earlier and check out earlier as well, even gave us some helpful tips during our stay.

The staff is very friendly and the place is an authentic Riad. The experience depends in the other guests though. Some people would say that breakfast is very basic, but as we have seen in the area in most places is like that. Just tea, coffee and some bread or sweets. Note that all rooms have good air conditioner and also depends on what room/price you pick. There are smaller rooms with basic bathroom and others that are bigger. Great place for family and friends. I fully recommend it for visitors that expect a more traditional and local place rather than a luxurious one.

We had the best time at Riad 46. The room was nice and clean and the location was not in the centre but still walking distance from everything. Walid was the most helpful (and funny) host. He helped us rent a car, book/recommend activities, provided us with food recommendations and even taught us how to make tajine! We can also highly recommend the guesthouse that his family owns in the Dades Valley: the Hiking Nomad Guesthouse. Thanks Walid and colleagues for making us have the best time in Marrakech 🙏 Arnaud & Hanne.

We were 4 girls from Spain. We had a great time. Everything was perfect, the pool was very nice and refreshing. The BEST thing: the hosts. They are super kind and make you feel welcome. If we could put 6 stars, we would. Shukran :)

Our 5 day stay at Road 46 was blissfully peaceful. Mostly we interacted with the hosts Hicham and Walid, who were always super helpful and accommodating. The place is super close to the airport (about 10-15 minutes) and has in close vicinity lots of stores for everyday stuff and cheap (yet, delicious) street food and high end terrace cafes/restaurants-so it’s really up to your budget how you want to eat.
Rooms were cleaned everyday as well as providing of fresh towels.
The breakfast here was also very good on a wonderfully cute rooftop.
Would definitely stay here again when we visit Marrakech again.

Location is spot on, in a quiet area just behind the main street.
The hosts here are very welcoming which is the best part!

I don’t mind the basic infrastructure, minimal luxury, small rooms — but they are clean with excellent service.
Rooms can surprise you initially as photos do not show how small they are / and basic with minimal facilities.

Me and my wife stayed at Riad Farasha for 5 days of activities and relaxation. Marrakesh is a beautiful city with so much going on. The days can be action packed and full of; things to see, things to do and things to buy! So it was an extra special treat to be able to come back to a little slice of paradise hidden in the Kasbah — medina. From the busy hustle and bustle of a a thriving market city the owners have created a traditional, cool and tranquil riad which makes you feel at peace, safe, secure and like a sultan.
The amenities for this Riad are fantastic and the AC especially helped us out alot! I made sure to take a dip in the pool every day and to relax on the roof terrace as much as possible. The owners have utilised a lot of Moroccan design in the riad and have created a heavenly retreat which blocks out the sounds and smells of the city and lets you really unwind.
The owner Marc was in contact with us throughout our trip and was truly a fantastic host. We managed to organise all our activities and excursions through him which was so helpful and I would recommend to anyone visiting to do the same. He has personal recommendations for many excursions all of which are professional and guarantee you a fantastic experience.
A special thank you to Ibtissame who can create a fantastic breakfast which I strongly recommend, and had some very helpful recommendations during our stay. She is an asset to this lovely Riad and was very kind and friendly to us during our stay.

Riad 46 is located close to main square and palaces. It is close to main street, but inside is very quiet. Pool is beautiful and great for refreshment. Guys working in riad are great, they love to chat and have fun with you, they will help you with everything, like real friends. The place is very clean.
