Beautiful hotel and excellent service, would definitely recommend! Staff are really friendly and attentive. Recommended a great day out and some lovely restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit!
Also, the breakfast is really good. Honey pancakes every morning, choice of eggs, served with bread and croissants.

This was an appalling experience. I'm in my 60s and have stayed in many hotels over the course of my life, and this has got to be one of the worst experiences I've had. The restaurant itself was amazing from an architectural point of view.
We paid £300 a night to have the big suite. The bath didn't work. The concierge really didn't care less and was very gruff with me when I went down to tell him that the bathtub didn't work. He virtually barked at me because I'd interrupted him scrolling social media, and he didn't want to get off it to come and help me. He eventually did, and when we got upstairs he said, "Well, you fill it with shower. " That's just for ornamental, he said, to the tap, which is complete rubbish.
This is overpriced. Horrifically bad experience. The concierge needs to be sacked. The waiting staff were good, but the management? Forget it! Find somewhere else!

The Red House was a beautiful building with wood carvings and mosaics throughout, helping us to appreciate Moroccan culture and art. It was lovely to be surrounded by that beauty every day and during every meal!
Its location was perfect, within walking distance to the Medina and many other historical sites. Their restaurant and service were extraordinary, with many wonderful choices of delicious Moroccan dishes — every meal was excellent! Finally, Abdel and the staff at The Red House were some of the most genuine and thoughtful people we’ve ever met — they were happy to make recommendations and reservations for us so that we experienced the authentic Morocco and we were deeply impressed and appreciative of them. We hope to return someday and highly recommend this whole experience of staying with them at The Red House!

I have mixed feelings about this hotel.
It’s a stunning old home that desperately needs some updating.
We stayed in the “blue room” which is huge with a lovely sunny terrace area.
The bed was comfortable and the mini fridge was a bonus.
However, the bathroom was tired (peach suite) with an odd lighting system — you can only turn on the second bathroom light when the bedroom light is on.
Tiles are cracked and a bit grubby.
Everything looked like it needed a good clean and polish.
Breakfast was good, and the restaurant area is beautiful but again, on closer inspection it is in need of some TLC.
We didn’t eat in the hotel apart from breakfast — the menu looked good but very pricy.
The hotel also has an alcohol licence but again it’s very expensive.
We ordered a bottle of wine (cheapest one is 400 dirhams) but we’re charged for a more expensive one despite being very clear about the one we wanted.
There is a carrefour just along the road that sells alcohol — buy it there for a fraction of the price if you fancy a beer or glass of wine.
As others have said, the road noise is a lot around the pool but to be honest that didn’t bother us.
15 min walk to the main square through the mosque gardens.
We wouldn’t stay here again, to us it didnt represent good value for money when you have some beautiful riads to choose from for a fraction of the price.

Great location, 10 mins walk into the Medina. However, next to a busy road so cannot be described as tranquil. Nice pool area, warm enough late October early November to swim. Inside we feel it’s a bit of a mixed bag. The Restaurant room is absolutely beautiful, the tiling on the walls, wooden ceilings & decorative alcoves, are a work of art. We stayed in the Imperial Suite which was huge, 2 large bedrooms, separate lounge area (which we did not use once) and a large wrap around terrace to catch the sun any time of day. The bathrooms for one of the bedrooms was very tired and resembled a 1970’s bathroom suite. No overhead shower and the shower hose was not long enough to use above the head. 2nd bathroom had a shower cubicle. Main bedroom nice although tired and 2nd bedroom had a laminate floor, not what you expect in the ‘Imperial Suite’. Terrace area also looked tired. The rooms were cleaned every day and the cleaners really did a great job. Staff in the hotel couldn’t be nicer, very helpful (nothing too much trouble) and generally lovely people. Restaurant food (we ate their once) was very nice. Breakfast on the other hand could be improved, plentiful but same every day (apart from how you choose to have your eggs). After a few days eating the same for breakfast we were wishing for alternative choices.
Food and drink in the hotel was expensive which was a shame as we would have eaten at the hotel more if the prices were more reasonable.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Red House in Marrakech! The location is perfect, very central and close to everything. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff made our stay truly special. Everyone was incredibly positive and helpful, especially Abdel, who was always there to answer our questions and make sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Marrakech!

We had the most amazing stay! From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely breathtaking – the atmosphere, the views, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel. The food was exceptional, with every meal being fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour.
What truly made the experience unforgettable was the staff. They were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and cared for. Their genuine kindness and professionalism made all the difference.
The ambience was perfect, a blend of luxury and comfort with a traditional Moroccan feel. That created such a relaxing escape. We left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already planning our return. The location of the property is superb, walking distance to any important tourist destination in Marrakech, surrounded by luxury hotels and nice restaurants western style. The rooms are spacious, with all amenities, perfect cleaning. Breakfast with big variety of local food or different type of omelettes and eggs. Suggestion: they need some renovation, but in general good impression.

We only booked the restaurant for dinner (family of 4). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The decor inside the dinner room was truly beautiful with magnificent Moroccan ceilings and crafted walls. We had live soft music throughout dinner. It was a long wait to get our food but totally worth it. Best food we’ve had in Marrakesh!

All of the staff were wonderful. Very professional and efficient as well as friendly. The place was clean and tidy and really atmospheric. We ate at the restaurant one night and had breakfast daily. The food in All cases was superb. The pool and gardens were very relaxing and the location is great because it is quiet and walking distance to everything! The front office management of Abdel and Amine were a dynamic duo!

The Red House really is a tranquil gem close to all the hustle and bustle of the Medina, it is in the perfect location for exploring Marrakesh.
If you walk 15/20 minutes to the left, you get to the new town, go right for the same time, you are in the old town and if you go upwards you come to restaurants such as Nobu Marrakesh.
We were on a short three night family break,
Upon arrival we were given mint tea and sweet treats. Then shown to the Imperial suite which was absolutely huge and spotlessly clean. Once again there were more treats, fruit and bottled water for us. The terrace was also huge and had table and chairs, a parasol and sun loungers. To us it didn’t matter that we looked towards the road as the traffic noise did not bother us at all.
All staff were absolutely fantastic, very friendly, helpful, polite and attentive, nothing was too much trouble for them.
Breakfasts were beautifully presented and delicious, with fruit, pastries, pancakes, eggs cooked anyway you wanted them to be and drinks, there was more than enough to start your busy sightseeing day.
We sat outside every morning with the warmth of the morning sun on us feeling very calm and relaxed whilst overlooking the pool and green lush gardens.
We ate in the restaurant one night and had the chicken and lamb Tagine’s, which were delicious with authentic flavouring and generous portions, the restaurant decor is breathtakingly beautiful.

We ate at the Red House. Fabulous — Best meal in town — I ordered some exotic sweet sticky lamb dish. Wow! It was great. Service was great. Gorgeous setting. I want to go back!

When we first pulled up at this hotel I thought it looked basic from the outside and it sits on a busy road in Marrakech. I had no idea what to expect and wondered if it was going to be as good as the reviews. I had my mind completely changed once we went inside and stayed there. This is a small hotel with a extremely clean, warm, small pool perfect for sunbathing after a hot morning visiting the souks (they are over the road and about a 10-15 walk away or a few minutes in a cab). For this place, it is the staff that make it utterly excel. I've never stayed anywhere where they are such friendly, obliging and genuinely nice people that cannot do enough to help you. It makes your trip. They gave us so much good advice for our short trip and went above and beyond to organise and to help with every single little detail. They seem to love their jobs and are great fun to be around and fluent in several languages which put us to shame. They are relaxed about dress code here which I was a bit worried about but needn't have.

The Red House is the perfect location for exploring Marrakech. Its just enough outside the city to be quieter, but only a 20 min stroll into the medina. Could hear the main road from the pool, but no once inside the hotel. Its also in a lovely leafy location, and we felt safe walking around nearby.
We were greeted with mint tea which was appreciated after a hot taxi ride. Our room was huge, light and airy with plenty of space for myself and my friend. The hotel pool was a welcome place to relax after a day in the city. We didn't have dinner here, but the breakfast was lovely. Beautifully presented, delicious, and more than enough food. Staff were friendly and helpful too. I would definitely return here.

Beautiful family supper with top notch service from Anas and splendid food. One of our nicest meals in Marrakesh. The food was beautifully prepared and presented, generous portions, authentic flavours and the room is breathtaking. It is one of the most beautiful interiors I have seen in the city.

A perfect little gem of a hotel. The room was lovely with fresh fruit on arrival. We could not fault this Hotel and its location. The staff went out of way to do everything for you, treated like Royalty. Food was best than anywhere else we ate and breakfast fresh orange juice and assortment of rolls, croissants, pancakes, fresh fruit salad and a choice of eggs. The cheese omelette was lovely.
The hotel was spotless with a lovely garden and beautiful swimming pool. Easy access to the Medina and various gardens and other sights. We had a private day trip to Atlas Mountains with Berber lunch organised by the hotel. Wonderful experience and day well worth it.
A very big thank you to all the staff and look forward to returning next year.

Whenever I go to Marrakech I always stay at The Red House. The location is perfect. The atmosphere in the hotel is so calm that you might wonder if there are any more guests. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. And the tajines are the best! ;)
