Horrible, Horrible, horrible. There's no other way to describe it. The food is frightening and dry, but the worst are the prices. For a lousy meal you end up paying an account that would seem expensive in a good restaurant in any European city. By €60 in Fez I hope that 2 people can eat or dine more than well… well here not, here you get filthy and dry food, with an overpriced shame.
In addition, the owner asks you to leave good reviews on the Internet in exchange for inviting you to beers. Everyone in Fez speaks terrible about this Riad, nobody says anything good, and for something it must be.

We went to this restaurant with a lot of expectations, given the high rating. But it's just highly overpriced, regular food. Seriously not worth it. The food was not even good. We had the chicken tagine and the kofta (meatball) tagine. Initially I was hesitant to write this review, but we travelled all over Morocco and can confidently say that their food is not the best. The chicken was so bland, only lemony. Kofta was OKAY. Their appetizer spread may seem impressive, but later found out that this is quite standard in Morocco. The owner seems to know that travellers read these reviews and trust them and come without checking other options, so he charges such premium price for such regular food. The ambience is nothing special either.

My wife and I had a wonderful 3 days at Riad Rcif. The owner took really good care of us. He sat down with us as soon as we arrived, and helped us make arrangements for our activities during our stay. He then arranged a great guide and driver to take us through Fez on our second day. The staff are fantastic guys, and the food was sublime. We ate every lunch and dinner in the beautiful courtyard. Our room was incredible with lavish tilework, stained glass windows, and carved wood trim. There's a bird in the courtyard that sings in the morning, and a turtle on the rooftop terrace. Our days in Fez and Riad Rcif were the best we had in Morocco! If you are headed to Fez, I'd recommend staying here!

Excellent table in the medina of Fez. Enchanting decor, great Moroccan gastronomy, attentive staff. Not to be missed if you go that way!

Very good service, very comfortable interior environment, but the location a bit remote, not very easy to find.

We had an amazing dinner and festival for New year's Eve at the restaurant. The food is great, the atmosphere is everything you would want it to be and the staff were very friendly and warm. The only issue was that they changed the price on us once we arrived there. We had called in advance to make reservation and they had shared their menu and prices with us at the time, only to decide otherwise once we actually showed up, which we find quite sleazy but had no plan B at that time. Honesty is the biggest challenge for Moroccans.

The owners can send someone to pick you up to go to the Riad and take care to escort you back after dinner. Very nice attention given the maze of streets in the Medina.

Really nice place. Very friendly staff. I arrived late at night, which was no problem at all for the host. In the morning, after a decent breakfast, a nice lady who introduced herself as my "trip advisor" gave me a good overview of the town. She provided really helpful tips and her English was very good. Food is not cheap — about 200 to 300 dh for a 3 course meal — but high quality. Beautiful rooms. Definitely a recommendation.

Went there after beeing recommended as the number 1 dining place in Fas however the service was very bad, and food was not as expected in terms of portion and taste plus it's extremelly overpriced. I don't recommend it at all. Try Chez Rachid instead. It's a local restaurant in the entrace of Madina near Talaa Elkabeira.

The interior design of the hotel is stunning. The food was so good, service was excellent and people were absolutely so nice to us :) I totally recommend them :)

Beautiful Riad. Despite being closed, the staff let my significant other and I enter to explore the interior and see the view from the rooftop. Furthermore, they gave us a map of the area for free and took time out of their schedule to talk with us. I will definitely visit again when I am next in Fes.

Very comfortable, it hurts that this a little difficult to arrive, one can lose a little by the alleys …

Magnificent Riad, very large rooms, cozy and clean. Moroccan interiors. Owners friendly and hospitable. Great breakfast and meals. Is located right inside the impressive Fez Medina. Magnificent view of the city from the terrace.

I was there 6 days and saw as he did the same thing with all the guests, when you arrive you try to make the thread with lies of the kind I am architect and I've traveled all over the world etc, Then you talk about that mainly pick up an official guide for your safety etc, In reality it does because the be charged commission on everything you purchase when you go with the guide. The taxi drivers that the calls to it may seem apparently cheaper, the reason esque the taxi driver also takes commission. Care. I've been traveled several times to Morocco and I know the topic of commissions, but I had never seen such a thing. The truth has disappointed me a lot, although the Ríad be nice to the person wearing it is too interested. The only thing worthwhile is the staff, who by the way treated quite badly.

Nice hotel with very pleasent stuff&services. Very beautiful inside, with authentic design. Air conditioner, hot water without any problems. Some compliments from the riad happened time to time.

Very pleasant stay in this beautifully restored place. The hospitality of this family and Aicha that respond simply and a lot of warmth in this Riad makes it an exceptional place and not a soulless luxury hotel. Everything is done to make you have a wonderful stay.
