Riad lalla Fatima is in the medina or old part of Fez, just 20 metres from Bab Ziat gate. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast are provided with each en suite room. Intricate tiling and Moroccan tapestries are features in all the riad’s rooms. Each has access to a patio and a private bathroom. Some rooms also have a seating area. ➜ Rooms clean but reception mixed and more oriented to the business than to the exchange, damage.

➜ Great riad and very lovingly decorated and very clean. The family takes a lot of time for questions and also likes to give tips. I cannot recommend a guide as they only make sales tours. You don't get much explained and shown. You can get from the riad by taxi or walk about 20 min. Go to town. Visit on your own much more interesting:-) you can experience a lot there.
The food at the Riad is delicious, but also slightly more expensive we have paid for two 470 dirhams. In the city there are also nice, good and cheap restaurants we were in the Seffarine super yummy!
In the evening it is a little cold in the riad. But you can have a great stay in the garden or on the rooftop terrace.
A visit is worth it there! Have fun:-)

Spectacular! It’s a mixture of a Riad and a family guesthouse, it’s run by a family who owned it for at least three generations and finally decided to turn it into a Riad when their kids moved out. We’ve been told the whole story of the Riad, the family and the amazing lady “Lalla Fatima” over a welcome tradition Moroccan tea and a long friendly chat with the Riad managers: Rajaa and Aziza (Lalla Fatima’s daughters), that really made our evening :) The place itself is a piece of art, very well furnished to show the beauty of the traditional Moroccan art crafts. Very clean and cosy… Well, in fewer words: It’s like living inside Arabian Nights (but no genie or Aladdin)
