The only reason this place gets two stars is its location, which is admittedly great. BUT, after sampling two rooms — the first I had to change due to no one windows and extreme stuffiness — here is what I can say. It's very dingy, pillows and beds are terrible, linens so threadbare you can see the mattress and are also permanently stained — yuck!, slept on my towles, which are also coarse as sand paper — hot water took five full minutes to start, window almost fell off, etc… The terraza had only 3 chairs for how many rooms (25? ) and filthy tables so much so I wouldn't even put my backpack on them and the doors to terraza were attempted to be held open by piled up pebbles and as result they banged all night in the wind waking most people on the 4th floor up. The service was lackluster at best… lots of people playing on their phones all day, no knowledge of local tours, etc… In short, this place is run on as little improvements as possible to suck as much money out as possible at the guests expense. I am now stay in a hostal in guadalajara, where there is much more competition, at 1/2 the cost and twice the quality.
