Hostal la Ermita is without a doubt the best hostel to which Eh gone, the hostel is three blocks from ado and has the market on the corner, has breakfast that is very good, swimming pool, and the facilities are very well maintained, I stay in the shared room and we passed it incrs eíble a lot good vibe! Super recommended do not hesitate to go!

One of the cheaper options in Merida but value for money. Just 3 blocks from the bus station, an easy walk into the centre and some cheap eats nearby if you don't want to cook. Rooms are simple but clean, each bed has its own plug socket, lockers (own padlock), kitchen available, swimming pool and free breakfast.

Unfortunately, our room was completely run down. The mattress was old and totally permeated so that you could hardly sleep on it. In addition, the noise of other groups of travellers all over the hostel at night also around 4 and 5 — none of the staff feels responsible for pointing out the rest periods.

The place is very nice. The value for money is unbeatable. The area in which it is located is somewhat far from the center but that makes it very quiet. If you want to forget about the city and rest is the ideal place. Regarding the rooms, they are ok, there is no air conditioning. In the case of the bathroom the single rooms the cleanliness was somewhat poor. Every day they serve a breakfast that is ok, it is appreciated that they include it in the price. All guests are quiet people who want to rest or just get to sleep; you can rest easy there. The pool is smaller than it appears in the photos but is clean, with the heat that it makes there the pool is appreciated. At the reception you are saved luggage if you arrive before check-in and want to go out and meet nearby, you can also leave it there if you have already checked your departure and you do not leave your flight yet or you are walking. There is a café but the schedule is very low. Highly recommended.

Nice and quiet hostel. Has a small pool and big backyard for people who prefer to camp. Dorm room comes with two separate bathroom. Very helpful English speaking staff.

It has a cafeteria where only serve quality coffee at very good price XD.

This hostel is nice but too far from the city centre away and in the poor quarter of the city located. So a bit unsafe for a single women in the night. It takes a 20 min walk in the city centre. Staff is nice and hostel is clean.

Good location, just minutes away from downtown. Prices include continental breakfast. The personal is friendly and help you book tours. The hostel has a nice garden inside.

Good hostel. It's cheap, the breakfast is adequate which includes coffee, toast, pastries, and fruits. Unfortunately no tea or hot water though. Staff is friendly and accommodating and the facilities are nice. The cons is the vibe. There is no hostel culture and it feels more like a hotel rather than a hostel. It's also a bit further out of town so expect a 15 minute walk to central.

A doorm bed will you get for 180 pesos. The dorms have two toilets and showers. It's clean rooms and big towels. It's a small pool, buts it's great after a day of walking. The breakfast it's great with fruits, toast and differents cereal.

Hostal la Ermita is a mid-sized hostel in Merida's, Mexico downtown. It has large enough rooms, continental breakfast, swimming pool and a billiard table. The rooms are expected to be occupied by additional people and that's the reason why they are cheap. Rooms need painting and air conditioning systems, because they just have fans. You can also meet a lot of international people here.

Great value for money. An IDEAL place to unwind from a long day visiting the ruins. The only downside is that it is a bit far from the Center, but nothing that a cheap taxi can not solve.
