I loved the hospitality at the club house. Each member of the crew were spectacular! 🙏👍 At one point even the landscape crew had applauded my shot…that’s special. I only had the chance to briefly visit for golf and some drinks/food for the day but it was beyond perfect. Thank you Lyman.

I loved the facilities, the food options are few. The staff lacks attention and warmth, they urgently need a good course of quality and warmth. Clear beach, if you are looking for tranquility this is the right place.

Staff without attention or rather without vocation of service do not attend one has to go looking for them and apart from that they do not like to win. Good tips are conformist.

The hotel has very neglected facilities. Very few umbrellas and lounge chairs on the beach, not 8 in total and in the middle of Holy Week. In the pool, same situation, there are not enough lounge chairs and that there are very few guests. Terrible service from most of the staff. We don't come back. Pity such a beautiful beach. That's why it's empty, because of the poor hotel service.

Very far from what appears and offer, to start the internal transportation of the complex is very slow and more than 30 minutes of waiting, the services in the pools and more of luxury suits do not exist. On Sunday they did not perform the cleaning of the room justifying that day they do not work. The waiter in the pool area of the hotel does not know the meaning of service and attention. Good things the breakfast of the hotel very good and the golf course. Think more than 2 times in going and if you decide to do so rent a vehicle to move to Mazatlan since a taxi to take you on a single trip minimum 500-600 pesos and Uber do not get there because they are very far. The transportation to the airport by the hotel you have to make an advance reservation and they will charge you although it is 10 minutes away. It is far from being referred to as a boutique hotel…

Excellent attention, very friendly staff, a beautiful paradise the beach, incredible sunsets, zero light pollution to see the stars and the moon, good cuisine, an experience to relax and enjoy.

They charged double the fee when I arrived and when I left the hotel. I spoke to complain and was told that even though they made the charge it is not their fault! 1 month and a half I will have to wait for the supposed refund.
Lousy service and took away all responsibility when it's all their fault.

The place is beautiful. Excellent care of the staff at all locations with the exception of the spa… not a good attitude to the lady who cares for you and never call you to confirm or cancel your appointment… I was without my massage…

Its the best relaxing place to rest in Mazatlán (its afair 35kms to the City). The golf course its the best o Sinaloa. Golf with Ocean View.

Great place to rest and relax. The staff is friendly. Inconvenient is that there are no activities for young children. The restaurants are ok but considering that the area is remote and you have to make total consumption in the hotel, the prices are high.

Very spacious, the condos are great, the front desk and the people who work there are great. Very quiet and nice. It is private and everything is in very good condition. The only bad thing I could find was the food, they don't have good seasoning. But you can still go out to eat outside and the trip is perfect.

Excellent food. Good service. Comfortable and clean rooms. Mattresses are quite firm but that's a plus for me. Beautiful, huge, huge beach but the surf is quite dangerous most of the year which limits you to swimming in the shallows. Not a super busy hotel which is nice and relaxing. Also very close to the airport. Minuses are that it's far from the city and that there is no public transportation. That means you have to pay the hotel for their private transportation if you want to go anywhere which is very expensive (about $10 to $12 USD per person).

Beautiful course next pristine beaches. Staff is very helpful and friendly. So quiet we felt like we were the only ones there. The club house has great food, friendly servers and the most amazing patio to watch sunsets.

If you like quiet, golf or long and wide empty beaches, this place is for you. Huge development, not too far from town.

A reasonably well maintained golf course for any country, challenging water hazards, all on the ocean. The clubhouse has great tuna … Try the smoked tuna tacos… Its beyond tour expectation.

The hotel is very nice, the rooms are huge and the staff is muh attentive. But it is very far from the city and if you want something to eat or drink other than the hotel you have to drive a good time before you get to something. I don't know if it was because we went in low season but we never got to see an open bar inside the hotel.

Very beautiful place… However they lack real attention to the people, they are very haughty (not all), they have control of the reservations that are made, they do not have a order to attend, the rooms deliver them until 2 hours later than they say, they forget the people, they demand too much, give no chance, they follow one as if they were to steal something someone.

A place to be quiet. No bars, no records, no other. Just nature. Very friendly and polite people.

It is a hotel very for foreigners, exclusive, comfortable, beautiful views. It is for foreigners who want the good weather, who want to go to Mexico without living with Mexico. It is about 20 minutes drive from the center of Mazatlan, away from the civilization of bustle and nightlife. Great place to go on vacation when you are in my retirement years.

Great resort. Many US citizens worry about going to Mazatlan, but you are definitely safe at Estrella Del Mar. It is located far enough away from the dangerous parts of the area, and there is nothing to fear. Golf course is beautiful, with multiple greens backing up to the beach. It is fun for all levels of golfers. Get some food with shrimp because you are in the shrimp capital of the world!

You have to visit the turtle reserve here. Beautifull place.

A dream experience. The staff is very friendly and you notice that their training is top notch. Beautiful beach, clean and safe. The food is the best and its facilities are clean and they look very well maintained I will certainly be back.

Poor man's Pebble Beach… Nice condition (much nicer than El Cid), hard new greens should only get better. Best place to play in Mazatlán if you get one of their specials.

We stayed there for a week. Nest vacation I ever had. Private beach. You will hardly see any one on the beach or in the pool. The pool is incredible. The food there is good too.

Best Golf, Hotel and Beach Residential resort on the Pacific,

Absolutely fantastic place to visit! If you want to relax without all the party craziness, you should stay here. The staff is amazingly friendly and we came away recharged. Stay at the hotel if you want to be close to the beach. Rent a condo for more space and a newer location. But that will cost double. I can't rate this any higher because 5 stars is the limit. :)

The golf course is amazing & the staff are great! The view next to the ocean is breathtaking!

I love to play a round of golf and then have a good lunch over looking the beautiful Pacific ocean. The patio dining area is always breezy and a beautiful setting for lunch or dinner. The golf course is first class and has some great views of the ocean along the way. You will fall in love with this secret paradise just south of the city of Mazatlan.
