The resort is small, so it has a very laid back and chill vibe. I thought the food was very good, which was a surprise because I always heard that resort food wasn't so good. The omelettes were probably my favourite part of breakfast, and who can complain about fresh fish at every meal? If you want more upscale food, there is a sit-down restaurant above the buffet. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here.

The attention is very warm. The food is delicious and the view spectacular. We really enjoyed our stay. Gay Friendly.

Kore was simply amazing! The resort is beautiful, pool area with ocean view. Does not have beach, but does have sister hotel and you can get into playa paraiso without paying, j ust down the street. Food was great. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Place is close to other hotels with shopping boutiques.

Kore Tulum was great. Great service. Great food. Very relax atmosphere. Yoga every morning which I really enjoyed. Highly recommend it.

For the price point the hotel is very disappointing. I recommend smaller places and lovey hotelitos around. I had inclusive option. The food was rather bad. The staff was very friendly and professional. However there were details like poor water pressure in the shower or the second pool that was out of service that showed lack of proper management. I think with some improvements it could be exceptional.

I loved the place very friendly people very good service the only thing that lacks a way out to the beach.

It is a very quiet place, where you can rest and admire the beauty of Tulum. It has No exit to the beach and would be good to improve the dining options and nightlife activities (good, but end very early)

First class food. Very clean and friendly. Couple things that could improve. Around the pool is polish granite so when it's wet people continuous slip and fall. The sidewalks as well are very slippery when wet if your wearing flip flops etc. We did experience a loss in water pressure (couldn't flush holier etc) but only once. There is only free Wi-Fi in the lobby are adjacent bar. No water access to rock and turbulent. There is a free shuttle only at 10:30 To beach. My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay very pleasant stay. Keep in mind to keep your cel off as we now have a bill for $400 plus on our cell bill. Sending pictures or even receiving texs adds up quick. I knew we would incur fees but holy!

We absolutely loved this resort. It is a quiet, clean, intimate place with friendly staff and great food! At times, yes, the food could be hotter but the presentation and flavour were great! The rooms are large with a great view. They are quiet, clean and we loved the bed! The jacuzzi was awesome too with lots of hot water. We rode the bikes into Tulum and to the Mexican Outlet. They are old but we found them accommodating. Wifi in the lobby was good. We would have liked to see some nightly entertainment or show but overall we were very happy!

Currently staying at this hotel, I am disappointed they do not speak French. It is the first time that the language barrier has been a problem for me, but I have a habit of travelling.
They make no effort for us, there are even who speaks French in the morning and more in the evening lol.
So I would say not recommended for the French.
Otherwise the frame is beautiful.

The downside about the property is that there is no direct beach access. The resort does pay for you to get in a cab and ride to the beach, but it would be nice to walk out of your room and take a short walk to the beach. The food was plentiful and 24 hour room service is a big plus. You can call room service any time of day or night and have food and liquor/ beer delivered to you. The downside was even though there was a lot of food it wasn't that great. The burger was the worst burger I've ever tasted. I didn't think it was possible to mess up a burger until this trip. I recommend ordering something extra that you like for dinner and taking it back to your room for a late night snack. Also you have to realize that in general you are drinking very cheap liquor and the "margaritas" are mostly just mix, but I imagine that's true of many all-inclusives. The staff was great and very friendly and helpful. I have nothing but praise for the staff. Martin in the galleria bar was awesome and made drinks exactly how you asked for them. One more downside to the resort was no Wi-Fi throughout the buildings. There is only one spot on the grounds (the galleria building) that has free Wi-Fi access. So if you need Wi-Fi you have to get up and walk to that building to use your phone.

The hotel itself is not bad, the rooms are nice and clean enough however the service and the eating are from a 1 star hotel.

Beautiful all inclusive resort with everything you need. Smaller than some resorts, which lets you get to know the staff and other guests if you wish. Large, quiet rooms. Room service is included in the all inclusive price, which is fantastic for breakfast or cocktails in your room. Conveniently located to get into town, to the ruins or a cenote, or to head to one of the many beach clubs along the coast. Reasonably priced so you have some cash left over to explore Tulum and eat at some of the amazing restaurants in town. Would definitely come back!

We are not the typical 'all inclusive' type, but while recovering from back surgery, it has been wonderful. When we first got here, I kept expecting to see a movie star because it's so private and quiet and healthy. We basically have the place to ourselves… Not crowded at all, no kids!, strong drinks, absolutely lovely (made to order, not buffet) food, and super friendly/happy staff. The infinity pool with swim up bar is perfect: there are many shallow spots to find a good half sun, half water comfortable position. There isn't swimming in front because of iron shore, but the whole area is friendly and this place is not far from anything — Tulum center, ruins, cenotes, snorkeling… There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms unless you pay, but it's free at the bar/coffee & tea station, library, and billiards house that's open until 1:00 am. I am just paying Verizon $3/day to use my plan from the US and it's working decently… Can I stream shows? No. But I can upload to FB and snapchat, message my friends at home, read the depressing world news, etc. I would stay here again: zero complaints. Wish we could stay longer.

Eat all you want and drink all you can not have beach but a sea entrance area and sensational views, have patience with the mayitas who are good people and you want. It's expensive but it's worth it. Super-mop rooms with private Jacuzzi. One step away from the ruins.

Great relaxing spot. House wine is terrible though. And make sure you stick with Mexican options for food.

First of all once you arrive your treated like royalty. The food is excellent and the staff is very professional. We had a last minute request and with short notice pulled of a magnificent evening. This was a once in a lifetime experience. Thanks to all of you.

Great place to stay with all essential amenities to relax. No beach access. Rooms are indeed noisy due to the proximity of the room to each other.

Very cozy friendly knowledgeable and helpful staff. Guest are respectful of all ages had couples families stay here as well no kids. Beach is by cycle away and is worth it. Front office arrange rental car for us to be drop at front office and arrange drop off at airport if u are in party mode this ain't the place for u if u looking for a good relaxing time this is for you also all inclusive here doesn't mean long line ups there is no buffet it's cook to order. Food is great rooms are great view is great menu is great.

We visited Kore on our honeymoon for 7 days. We LOVED how big and spacious the room was with our own jacuzzi outside on the balcony. There were never any lines for drinks at the pool bar and was super easy to get a lounge chair by the pool. Even though there was no beach it made an adventure for us to bike 10 minutes to the nicest beach we had both ever seen (although became very busy mid day) The food was good as neither one of us are picky eaters. Tulum is beautiful and we can't wait to visit again! Note that this is a very quiet resort with little day/night entertainment which allowed us to relax very well!

So I personally felt the service was not exactly as helpful, many were unmotivated and I had to fight for my food and drinks, but everything would have been all inclusive. But only if someone comes and takes the order. Otherwise it is very nice here and the rooms were clean.

Great inclusive hotel with beautiful rooms and excellent service. Rooms are huge, have outdoor spaces, lots of seating room and large bathrooms with a double shower. Unlike the typical image of a sort of "free for all" all-inclusive, this small hotel (92 rooms total) offers sit-down meals with waiter service, just no individual bills. While there were occasional buffets that were just OK, any food you ordered off menu (menus available for all meals) was overall pretty good, perhaps got slightly boring if you stayed for a very long time. The grounds are stunning, loved the swim up bar and the adults only policy & small hotel size really makes for a relaxing scene. Super close to Ruins, other hotels and downtown Tulum — most things are within a 20-30 min walk, quick bike ride or $3 taxi ride. Hotel also offers free, easy parking. To address some legit criticism in other reviews: — It is true that while you have beach views, there is no beach access. This is less of an issue in Tulum than it would be elsewhere because beaches here are not the best for swimming anyway — they are lauded for their picturesque beauty, but water tends to be super salty and choppy, much less pleasant than swimming in nearby Cancun. If you do want to swim in ocean, you can find another hotel beach or public beach very close by and swim there. — While this hotel has approximately 96 hot tubs (one per room and four by pool area), you will be happier if you don't expect to hot tub here.

I don't have words to describe my stay in this magical place, the first thing which is noteworthy is the attention by all the staff working there very friendly and attentive to what the client needed a smile for the morning accompanied by a good greeting. The printing of the receipt when you get the form as you attend to and the massage welcome is super. Room go large and clean with good sea view. Something I liked me was also the food definitely took care of every detail always a different dish in every dish care. Not that there is more that want to thank you for the good days that pass that is hosted with you. I thank you, and we will see you soon Kore Tulum.

Staff is the most kind and welcoming! The view is stunning, and they have a small store where you could purchase small snacks, toothpaste, swimsuits, batteries, SDmemory cards, pretty much everything you need, and it's great for last minute souvenirs.

Perfect place if you want to avoid the crowd and noise of Cancún and want to get a more authentic experience. Super safe town where you feel free to walk around and shop. Hippie/Indie shops abound.

Amazing staff, clean beautiful rooms, and good food. Pool is huge plus. When going to eat dinner, ask to sit in Santos section. He is the kindest friendliest waiter! Also Hilaro at the pool bar was super sweet.

We had an amazing wonderful experience staying at Kore Tulum. Huge comfortable room with 24 hr room service. Very nice, accommodating persons worked there to fulfill almost every need. Very quiet, but you can meet a few very nice guests. Extremely reasonable price for all inclusive with delicious (not mass produced) food. 17 days of paradise, it was difficult to leave the resort. But, you do it for the cool town, restaurants and beaches.

I loved the place is magical-the landscape of the hotel to the sea is amazing I fall in love with this place would become a thousand times more, the only thing the service is a bit slow, would only need to improve on that… but, 100 percent recommended.

Superb hotel! Food and service was great, employee always trying to keep you happy did everything possible for getting what you ask. It seems like you rented the whole hotel by yourself, not overwhelmed by a lot of tourist like every other hotels. Very beautiful to just sit back and relax and feel the ocean breeze in one of their beds or hammacks, my husband and I loved this retreat definitely coming back, it did lacked a beach but can take a bike ride or a shuttle 5 minutes away in a very nice more private beach. All in all this hotel was great it met every expectation we were looking for and then sum!

It was nice good location, very clean. The food was a little underwhelming but still well worth it. My other favorite part was the low population it never took any time at all to get service or a table.

The worst hotel in Tulum. By quite some distance, little more then a glorified prison in the countries most beautiful stretch of coastline. Avoid.

It is the best hotel I have ever stayed! Staff & facilities are so well focused on taking care of visitors & making the our vacation extraordinary! We will be back for another superb vacation! Thanks for making our stay so special!

The resort was beautiful. Had no beach though. The service was very slow. Waited 15 min for a drink and food. Most the times I had to go grab my own stuff. Only one restaurant. Instant mashed potatoes was served Room service never came when order it. The drinks are all watered down. The outdoor tub was broken.

I felt like this was my own private resort. The staff, the food & the room were outstanding. Highly recommend it. I would go back!

I like to much the bad thing is that when is the end don't design for where nomas design that you came.

Spectacular, the rooms, the comfort, the attention, viky, framework, gilberto all are charming, make you want to return time and time again.

Fantastic place — amazing resorts — staff is beyond nice and helpful. The food is great, healthy and varied. The Papaya beach is 2 min away and also very nice. I would stay here again and again. Very relaxing — — truly a gem on the coast. It is good to rent a car in Cancun and drive down. You can then go and dive the Cenotes, visit the ruins, etc — — enjoy JF.
