Humble Bumble Hostel Hostel

Absolutely Amazing Staff! One year ago my girlfriend and I were looking for a clean, well-reviewed hostel in PdC for only 3 nights, so we gave HumbleBumble a try. And from the beginning to the end of our stay there we had a great experience: Besides the price per night we spotted on hostelworld — which is absolutely fair btw — we were granted a free upgrade from a shared to a private room since we arrived at the end of high season and the hostel wasn't crowded anymore. The room itself, the bedding, bathroom etc. Were indeed clean and it had an AC that worked — that's essentially all we needed since we spent the days outside. In addition there was daily cleaning service and free basic breakfast. The pool area with the bar on the rooftop was a very nice plus where you could socialise and hang out. If there was anything negative worth mentioning, it'd be that — although the private room even featured a little kitchenette — the fridge was pretty much useless since it was probably broken and smelled a bit bad. But we'd of course always have a spot in the huge fridges downstairs in the breakfast room and we ate fresh food anyways or bought cans and food that didn't need to be kept cool, so that wasn't a problem for us.

Nice place to spend the night, besides the location is really good, everything is walking-distance. Breakfast is the best, highly recomendable!

They staff were nice but as for the beds you feel every spring definitely the worst sleep I've ever had and the air conditioner might as well been a heater because it felt like a sauna all day and night they had construction going on during the day that they didn't tell me about before booking first time staying in a hostel and I don't think I ever will again. Use airbnb instead.

This youth hostel is a true jewel! Clean, the staff is amazing, the breakfast is one of the best I've had in a hostel. If you go to Playa you need to spend a night there for the experience!

This is the best Hostel I have ever stayed at? Pablo is the owner. He is so awesome! If you don't stay here you are missing out!

Economical, location, you can cook what you like, breakfast included.

This hostel is great, such good value for money, beds made daily, free drinks every night and and awesome atmosphere. The breakfast was home made and changed every morning and super delicious. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Over priced. Shower head needs to be replaced in the private room. No water pressure the whole three days we were there. Room smella musty and the TV in our room was out of order the entire time. Breakfast was very inconsistent and we were left hungry. Will not be back.

If you want to see one of the best beaches in the world and have a great affordable, clean, and great management it is a great place to stay. It has personal and warmth staff that has help us with every whim. My family and I are looking forward to coming back soon and I will highly recommend the Humble Bumble Hostel to my friends and family at home.

Absolute gem! The hostel itself was great. Clean, decent rooms and a nice roof top terrace. What really made it though were the owners, Pablo and Raul. Friendly and welcoming from the outset and will go above and beyond to make your stay fun and memorable. Will return to Mexico one day just to visit them! Couldn't recommend highly enough. Cheers lads!
