Majid is fantastic. Perfectly fluent I'm English and super friendly and helpful. Gave us advice for what to do on the island for our 7 night stay. The place we got was on the 2nd floor. When he first introduced the room and opened the door, I was pleasantly surprised how nice and clean the place was compared to how busy and relatively dirty the streets were. Overall, a really good safe haven to call home, definitely recommend for anyone!
You cannot go wrong booking with Majdid at Elements of the Island. Besides being super helpful and gracious, he upholds a high standard of cleanliness and comfort for his rooms. Plus, breakfast and/or lunch is always delicious and very reasonably priced. Free Wi-Fi that works well is also included.

Wonderful place. We stayed in the first floor apartment / room. Really comfortable and immaculate. The furnishings / bed / nice bathroom / simple kitchen area and mini fridge was perfect for us. My wife and I enjoyed the included beach chairs and towels. The street is surprisingly quiet. Small friendly cat hangs out. Madjid is a great innkeeper and also runs a charming daytime restaurant.
