Review of Sun Palace 4*

Here now on the beach can’t get good service on the beach! We have to do everything ourselves. Went to the Italian restaurant last night service was good food wasn’t! Pizza was frozen type minestrone soup was fair at best eggplant dish was good but small wish it was a main course. Carbonara pasta was so so! Flan no good. Went to my room after and ordered stuff because I didn’t enjoy my dinner. Ordered nachos with water down cheese and some type of guacamole? can’t win! Our room is very nice Beach is nice service is nice at the restaurants food is somewhat processed. Lots of meat options available but not for me as a vegetarian. Suna is small and not well staffed they also tried to brush us away from using the steam room and sauna because we did not want to get massages the girls said it was to full. Luckily we argued are way past that when we got in there was only one person there. Not nice of them! Jacuzzi is not heated at all (that’s a must) nor is the swimming pool. So we had dinner at the Thai place last night they turned the Pôol snack bar into a makeshift Thai restaurant no ambience whatsoever just 15 tables poolside Just like when you’re having snacks in the daytime. It was a super breezy night I saw many ladies leave in discomfort one lady next to us had a towel wrapped around her lol. I enjoyed the breeze. They had a tofu vegetarian dish with curry that we enjoyed the pad Thai was not pad Thai but edible the fruit vegetable salad wasn’t very tasty at all the spring rolls are the same that you get at the buffet. We also had some sushi California rolls that had artificial crabmeat in them and that description was not on the menu. The brownie and ice cream wasn’t good at all the caramel ice cream was much better than the brownie. Couldn’t eat the brownie. Poor selection of alcohol at this restaurant as well. Our server was nice and did a great job.
