I had a wonderful stay at Sun Palace. Immaculate hotel, room was clean and the views simply spectacular. The staff are super attentive. Truly enjoyed the service provided by Emanuel at the beach! His willingness to help and attitude were great! Yesenia at reception was also amazing; she was sweet and kind when giving suggestions and directions! They were both wonderful, attentive and super helpful! Impressed with the healthy options on the menu. The vegan dishes on the menus were pretty scrumptious, especially at the Thai restaurant! I will definitely be going back and can’t recommend this hotel enough ☀️👌🏼

Sun Palace staff are like family! They are so thoughtful and eager to please. We are here to have our wedding and Yessenia gave us an amazing room! She is awesome! Good start for out 20 day stay!

They’ve just recently my went through a major renovation, and the place looks new and refreshed. I feel they also did an overhaul on their menus and restaurants. I’ve been coming to Sun Palace for years and the food has never been better. Highly recommend with the new updates. Has a fun party atmosphere.

The service was excellent. The friendly and genuine staff made us feel valued and appreciated. We will definitely return in the next few months for another week in paradise. Silvio was very attentive and made sure to keep our drinks full. Consuelo was excellent to assist us and value us. Alfredo the chef in Aurora was excellent. His 7 course meal was excellent. Manuela was very attentive to make sure our food and beverage needs were meet. I highly recommend the wine tasting and the chefs dinner. Overall we had a great experience and can’t wait to return.

Returned from Sun last night, had a great time, good food, great hard working staff.

Harrassment from the moment we arrived for our honeymoon. Had to unplug our room phones from the wall so the staff would stop calling us in the early AM to sell us on things we said we didn't want… the whole place is a sales pitch and not the relaxing honeymoon we were promised. Disappointment all the way around and will never come back. rest of the staff was amazing and awesome, but the sales staff ruined our honeymoon… once in a lifetime thing… spoiled by pushy sales people with no remorse. Requested they stop and they persisted. Couldn't walk through the lobby without harassment. stay away from this place.

Such a beautiful place with an amazing staff. Bed linens are quality and the beds are very comfortable. I can’t think of anything about this place that doesn’t qualify as a slice of heaven!

We are here at the Sun Palace for the forth time this year and as usual it does not disappoint! The staff are amazing and treat us like family. The beach and pools are beautiful and well maintained. My wife and I went for the all inclusive for our 10 year anniversary. I have nothing but great things to say about the staff and the resort as a whole. They really do go out of their way to make your experience personal. We met excellent people while visiting and hanging out in the pool while enjoying some beverages. The vollyball games are a blast as well. We even keep in touch with the people we met. With that said, my wife and I never left this resort when though there was so much more to do. We just wanted to relax. I also recommend the Romantic dinner on the beach. You won't be disappointed! We will be going year after year from now on.

There was a lot of confusion with our booking so when we arrived we did not get the room/package we had thought we paid for. There were some other inconveniences (i. E maintenance starting at 8am). That being said, the level of service we received from the staff was world class. The resort itself is very well maintained and clean. The staff was more than helpful and accommodating especially when it came to correcting (or at least making for) the mishaps I referred to above. Overall, I would go back and recommend.

This was the perfect place to spend for our 15th year wedding anniversary. The room was clean and it was quiet and relaxing. The pool was nice and over looked the ocean. There was entertainment every night and the food was awesome! Never had a bad meal. I used some room credits for a massage and it was very soothing. We will be back.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel 4 days and really enjoyed it (expect of the noise of construction super early in the morning like starting at 4am, they are remodeling rooms). Other than that our mini vacation was amazing. All staff are friendly and helpful especially waiters and bartenders. Drinks are great, good quality and huge variety. Food could be a little better especially in Italian restaurant. I truly recommend this hotel.

Great Beach: The beach is accessible and great for walks/swimming!
Comfortable Room: We had a jacuzzi tub room with a walk out patio. The room was plenty big!
Decent fitness room: They had a well-kept fitness area.
The guest entertainment staff was always entertaining, friendly, and energetic!
For the most part, the workers were super friendly around the entire resort.
The magic show was great!
The chef’s dinner was great!
Entertainment staff: Jayco, Pedro, Magic Mike, and Chocolate were a lot of fun and made sure everyone had a great experience! Con's:
Large Pool: My biggest complaint was the surface of the large pool! After a few days, my toes were rubbed raw from the rough surface! Our swimsuits had snags from rubbing against the side of the pool!
Swim up bar: At times, the bartenders at the swim up bar looked to be completely overwhelmed which meant it took a while to get drinks. During these times, there was maybe 1 person at the swim up bar. They appear to be serving drinks to the entire beach, snack bar, pool loungers, and swim up bar. When asking for a drink, they looked annoyed at times! (never saying "My Pleasure" as the rest of the staff always said! )
Divided beach: Members have beach chairs near the stairs to the bar.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It was much more quiet than other resorts, which we were not expecting. We thought Cancun=party. The pool and beach pretty much close down for dinner and evening. The night events are a lot of fun between fire dancers and magicians. The staff are fantastic and friendly; they will even serve you on the beach under your umbrella breakfast or adult beverages. The rooms are great with all ocean views and the bed is extremely comfortable, so much so I want to buy one when I get home. 24hr room service is also a plus! Would definitely consider coming back.

My wife and I have been here only two days, and we cannot say enough good things about the staff and service. Great people who take care of you. We both have Celiacs disease, so we cannot have gluten in our diet. They gave us an allergy card AND sent an email to all restaurants explaining our needs, and we have yet to encounter an issue. Every time we have been seated the hostess sees our card and knows what to do and explain to the other staff. I cannot say how relieved we feel having this kind of service to help us not get sick on our vacation. We are even offered gluten free options prepared outside of the normal buffet like GF waffles, pancakes, etc which just goes to show how much they want you to enjoy your stay. We are having a blast, and the week is just starting :)

Update: just returned home after a great 10 day vacation. Palace really does make every effort to make your vacation special. A great Adult only All inclusive resort. Great food, fun pool activities. Great service.

Beautiful resort for adults only! Everything was excellent from the rooms to the restaurants and spa, to all the staff. Would highly recommend for your next vacation. Cancun is absolutely amazing! And remember to tip graciously as they have no minimum wages as we do in North America, and their monthly income in most cases of $300 is unimaginable.

Excellent service. Delicious food. Very clean. My husband forgot his cpap mask at home they went above and beyond to find one, they did. Had it delivered. Made me feel like I was more than just another customer. Most definitely will come back here again.

My wife and I had a fantastic time. The food, costumer service, and the bartenders were spectacular and the views were even better. We will definitely be back. Sun Palace was an adults only all — inclusive that was just big enough to allow you to make a lot friends. High recommended.

We are currently here and we cannot rate this resort high enough. 5 stars is not enough! We spent several hours at the pool and took full advantage of the swim up bar. So far my favorite drink is a pina colada, mango margarita, and the Miami Vise. The staff here are top notch and always asking how you are doing and if they can improve on anything. We are not used to service like that and it is beginning to spoil us. We has the option to upgrade to the concierge level when we checked in and I am so glad we did. We are on the 4th floor and have an ocean front room overlooking the big infinity pool. I highly recommend this resort. You will not be sorry!

Here now on the beach can’t get good service on the beach! We have to do everything ourselves. Went to the Italian restaurant last night service was good food wasn’t! Pizza was frozen type minestrone soup was fair at best eggplant dish was good but small wish it was a main course. Carbonara pasta was so so! Flan no good. Went to my room after and ordered stuff because I didn’t enjoy my dinner. Ordered nachos with water down cheese and some type of guacamole? can’t win! Our room is very nice Beach is nice service is nice at the restaurants food is somewhat processed. Lots of meat options available but not for me as a vegetarian. Suna is small and not well staffed they also tried to brush us away from using the steam room and sauna because we did not want to get massages the girls said it was to full. Luckily we argued are way past that when we got in there was only one person there. Not nice of them! Jacuzzi is not heated at all (that’s a must) nor is the swimming pool. So we had dinner at the Thai place last night they turned the Pôol snack bar into a makeshift Thai restaurant no ambience whatsoever just 15 tables poolside Just like when you’re having snacks in the daytime. It was a super breezy night I saw many ladies leave in discomfort one lady next to us had a towel wrapped around her lol. I enjoyed the breeze.

It is a super hotel and they treat you wonderful.

It is an all inclusive hotel of great quality and they manage a system in which depending on how many nights you book generates credits, which you can change for massages, spa, special dinners, or tours, the only bad thing that I see the hotel is the pressure of the people of the time Shared that all the time they want you to enter the presentation to buy a membership.

Beautiful couples only resort near the south end of the hotel zone (about 10 kilometers from party central), it was nice and quiet. All rooms appear to have a balcony, almost all with a beach view. Our also had a jacuzzi tub. Bed was very comfortable, and bathroom was kinda chic, but not designed for couples early in a relationship. The shower and toilet are separated by translucent glass which provides just a little visual privacy, without blocking any noises. Food was plentiful, and the best flavors at dinner were at the steakhouse. Italian restaurant was ok, lunch buffet was good, cocktails were better, but wine selections weren't very inspiring.

Lousy service! Lousy experience. I don't recommend it.

Hotel for couples only, no children allowed. Very cozy, the food is excellent. The snacks are very good and varied. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They offer entertainment activities. The area is the one that is located has a good sea to swim and enjoy the beach. It's a bit out of the rumba area, but there are bus routes that pass by and leave you there in 20 minutes.

We love the Palace resorts! Sun palace is just the right size… Not too big and not too small! They do everything to make your stay amazing. Food is wonderful. Spa is great! I have nothing but great things to say.

My stay in Oleo is amazing! The staffs were very attentive, friendly just very pleasant. Cristine from the spa gave me the most amazing massage in my life! I'm so glad I upgraded to 50 min massage. I would definitely return to Oleo if I have the chance!

Excellent resort. The service is outstanding. It's a couple's only resort, so no kids running and screaming. The restaurants and spa are also top notch. Would highly recommend any Palace resort for a luxurious vacation experience!

My husband and I went to Sun Palace on our honeymoon. We had a great time! It was so nice having alone time with no kids around since it's an adults only resort. The food was pretty good, however the drinks seemed to always be a tad watered down. : (Other than that, this place is great. The rooms are very nice and bed is comfortable. The room service and staff are very attentive and come to your every need. This is a great resort to stay at while in Cancun! :) Highly recommend!

The hotel itself if nice. Pool and beach are kept clean. Food could be a lot better. Steak House was the best part. Mexican wasn't really Mexican. Alcohol selection also very poor. And what they did have was bad quality. If you're looking for a quiet escape that's what you'll get. But if you're looking for good food and drinks maybe try something else.

Stayed out at Moon Palace, but Sun Palace was a great day trip. Best part was probably the ocean and waves. Pool and bar overlook looking the ocean was nice as well. Great service, food, and accommodations. Highly recommend.

A very nice all inclusive hotel, a weight that Concidero is a small hotel, the luxury they put and the quality of service makes the travel experience not only worthwhile, if not others make it memorable, superabdo expectations if it is the first time to visit.

Stayed during the first week of November. Weather was great, we were away to release sea turtles while we were there. Amazing beach front that is well maintained. Lively but not over the top night life. High quality resort food, excellent bar service with really good mixed drinks. Modern and very clean rooms with in-room jacuzzi. Would definitely stay again. ***Adults only.

Phenomenal staff, beach, room. Hot tub in the room is awesome. So was the included mini bar. Massages were great. Food was awesome. Jacuzzi in the spa and at the pool were confusingly cold. Main pool probably could be heated. Menu at the dinner restaurants should rotate daily. But a superb experience.

We had a wonderful first time experience at the Sun palace. We did book through a travel website and found a better deal but they did not use that against us in the slightest. We got an amazing room, got treated like a king and queen by the staff, and can’t wait to go back! The food was fresh and delicious and the hotel itself was clean and relaxing. You also can’t ask for a better view or area of the ocean! They also NEVER once “hounded” us to become members or view presentations like others have reviewed. Though it is not required of you to tip, I strongly ask you to consider it. Most workers in Mexico rely on tips and they are graciously appreciative if you do. The only cunstructive criticism I can give is about the shuttle to and from other palace resorts. Since they are all sister resorts you can visit them and get all the amenities as you would from your origin hotel, however there is limited shuttle/times and if you missed your pick up time you had to find your own way back. We had a wedding at the Moon Palace and had to time accordingly to go and then take a taxi back. Wish they had a system to help their guest out in cases like that.

This is my first all inclusive experience and I'm loving it. Being able to eat and drink whatever you want is a crazy concept. The rooms are big and has its own big Jacuzzi tub. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are clean. My only complaint is how they push you to become members of their resorts and use their resort credits. I get it's a business for them but I'm here to just enjoy my time and don't want their pressure about that. Other than that, it's been a great time.

The Sun Palace is quite and very romantic. The staff worked very hard to keep the resort clean. The food at the restaurants was quite tasty. This was our second time we have stayed at the Sun. What has changed. We had to pay extra to get a ocean view, which was disappointing. You cannot smoke at the pool bar any longer. Also, they charge 16% Tax on the Palace points they give you.

Sun Palace is an adults only all inclusive resort. I very much like that hotel staff is present and easily identifiable by their uniforms. Staff has been very friendly and offers recommendations when asked. The food selection is adequate and if you are hungry to mix and match h to make your own meal the staff once again is willing to try to make what you request. The hotel property is smaller in size and would be great for handicapped or disabled guests. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Everything about this property is top notch. The service is perfect, food is excellent and the rooms are very well equipped. I could on and on about all the things that are done right at Sun Palace. I would highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a welcoming, adult only getaway.

Went here for my Honeymoon a couple of weeks ago, very beautiful! Staff was really accommodating, rooms were spacious with gorgeous views — my only complaint was the food — it was average at BEST, lacking flavor and variety. The "Romantic Dinner" we attended, which was included in our Honeymoon Package, was the most disappointing food on the trip. They took the same food from the buffet and tried to make it look fancier. My husband and I LOVE food, and aren't hard to please — but we actually got up and left before dessert because we were so disappointed. Other than that, everything else was perfect!

The views from the various restaurants, and even our room, we're amazing. The water had beautiful color and enough waves for interest; yet it was calm enough to swim part of almost every day. Food lovers rejoice. The fresh produce at every meal was a delight. >Meat-and-potatoes types will rejoice in the BBQ Heaven that is Steak. >Looking for Mexican food in Mexico? At the restaurant named for the poplar tree (the translation of El Alamo), find dishes from various regions of your host country. The most Amercanized dishes are on the breakfast & lunch buffets instead. >Thai/the Oriental Lounge features great bar tenders, elegantly prepared sushi & sashimi, brightly flavored appetizers highlighting several Asian nations. The entrée selection includes similar diversity but do try the Pad Thai. Thailand's national dish all but sings its way into your belly. >>>Note: if you order spring rolls, use extreme caution with the "hot" dipping sauce. My mother had to all but chug her Mai Tai & still cried profusely. I found it pleasant in moderation, but even my chili head's tolerance was tested in excess. >La Trata was the only place at this resort where you are expected to "dress for dinner". Show the staff & your fellow travelers the respect of doing so. The decor is understated elegance. The food is a delight. And all the window views are amazing. Of course, if you have a special occasion, do request to be seated in the window alcove near the entrance (in advance).

For yhe price point of the resort I found the accomodations to far exceed my expectations. I stayed in an ocean view "junior suite. " The room was spacious and had an attractive and functional layout. Everything was clean. The resort had reliable free Wi-Fi which isn't always available at all inclusives in Mexico. The toilet smelled fishy, I think because the resort uses untreated water for the toilet system. Fortunately, the toilet was in its own small room thay could be closed when not in use so that the rest of the room didn't smell. All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was average to above average for an all inclusive. Overall I was pleased with my stay and I would definitely come back.

Location is good, their private beach is only rocks though, so don't expect to play in the waves here. Service and rooms couldn't be better. Everyone is treated like royalty here, best vacation ever.

Fantastic resort with only a few drawbacks! It's hard to complain too loud about any place as beautiful as the Sun Palace, especially considering how fantastically we were treated. However, our stay was a little soured by the hard sales pitch we received right when we checked in. Overall we had a fantastic time at the resort, but it you're considering this resort be prepared to turn down some salespeople!

The Sun Palace was amazing! First, its a couples resort so you only see other adults and no children running around; a great place to relax. Next, the food is stellar. The buffet has an area of raw meats that you give to a chef that will grill it in front of you. The fish and steaks were delicious. There are a few restaurants of different themes. There's a Mexican restaurant which was fine. On the roof, there is an outdoor Asian restaurant which was slow, but nice for a relaxing night. I think there's also an Italian restaurant, but we didn't try it out. The rooms are also very nice. We had the Concierge level and there was a jacuzzi in the middle of our room and a view of the beach! Our package included a complementary couples massage and a romantic dinner on the beach in addition to free hotel credits (book during down season). There are several pools and the beach is connected. Its great to just lay on the beach and get complementary drinks! The staff was courteous and professional. There was also a fire dancing show on our last night which was enjoyable. We booked several tours through the hotel which all went very well. The only problem is that we didn't spend enough time at the hotel because we booked so many activities (Chichen Itza, Tulum, Xplor).
