Super comfortable place, safe and always breathe good vibes.
I love the Mayan Monkey.

It was clean, friendly, and fun. Our 8 person room had a bathroom inside and views of the water from both our windows. We also had an in-prompt-to morning yoga session with Faustino on the water which was a very nice way to wake up! The breakfast was included and the night life was fun and full of table games and good music. Also — the DJ takes song requests!

I stayed there this weekend and was bitten by bed bugs 🐜. Every time I asked for a manger or supervisor so I can speak to them about the problem they were never available, when I asked the front desk to contact somebody of the higher ups, they met say they weren’t available at the time, all they could do is change the sheets and pillow for me, this was the worst hostel experience I’ve ever had. Think twice before booking there, yeah the beach is across the street and the bar is cool to party at, but the cleanness wasn’t what they are saying it is. At the end when I checked out they still wouldn’t contact someone for me to tal to about the situation.

Both Mayan Monkey Hostels in Tulum & Cancun offer quality surroundings, self serve kitchen and gd bars and pools and sunning areas! Great staff and good opportunities for volunteers!

Best hostel ever! Super clean, super fun and original decoration. AC in all the rooms and bathrooms always clean. Free breakfast every mornings. Awesome place to stay!

Best hostel I have ever seen. Amazing location. Nice and helpful staff. Kitchen and bar. Babyfoot and other activities like pizza night or karaoke night… Very impressive nice rooms and main areas… I will be back soon!

The hotel is super cool, has two areas: one for the private rooms and one for the Hostel. The lowest price is $14 for a bed within a 12-bed female room. The price includes Breakfast. It also has a very nice bar and the restaurant has a view of the lagoon where there are crocodiles. The people are super friendly and they give you a bracelet and a card to be able to be there. I loved it!

Super Recommended! It is located in the Horelera area of Cancun 2 blocks from Coco Bongo and the bar area where there are also many artisans at good prices.
The staff is very attentive and friendly. They solve all nuetras concerns.

This hostel has a really cool beach vibe. It’s pretty new so everything was updated, USB ports in the bed rooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 Toilet stalls, and plenty of mirrors. You’ll need to bring a lock for your locker if you choose. The breakfast was simple but good: omelette and toast.

Their food and music are good. They had a good selection to choose from.

Really nice hostel. Love the small cabin bunkbeds, it gives some privacy… big lockers… towls and so… And it is nice and clean…

Amazing! Real cool atmosphere. Regularly cleaned rooms. Dorm beds are average size so could have slight troubles if you're very tall. There is a bar and decking to sun bath on when the sun is setting. There's a free beach across the road and through a car park. Convenient location to the club's! Easily walkable and if you need to travel else where there are regular buses just outside the hostel. Pharmacy, shops and 2 restaurants right opposite for convenience. All go out as a group which is good, but it's basically a party hostel! All good.

Excellent location, very clean, very nice, very friendly all and overall an excellent hostel, the truth would pay more for all the good things you have and I just stayed a day haha.

An excellent place to stay in the hotel zone near Plaza Forum, bars and restaurants. The rooms are modern and clean. There are shared rooms at very good price, the people who work are also very friendly.

Gabriella was super helpful and nice. The place was very clean and in a perfect location; also very affordable. Loved it!
