My wife and I came here for her 40th birthday. It’s was our 1st time and it won’t be our last! The oceanview rooms are awesome and staff was very helpful with everything! No complaints this way!

I have proof of an employee stealing from my room however they refused to assist me and blamed me. They simply ask their employees if they stole, and when they OBVIOUSLY say no, they blame their customer and do absolutely nothing. Genera Manager of the resort is incredibly rude and dismissive and refused to help us AT ALL even though I had PROOF.

We loved the hotel and especially the treatment of the staff, impeccable. All very attentive and helpful. Great room with cleanliness every day and very detailed. Wonderful facilities, the only 'but' is that the Wi-Fi didn't reach all the places well and to our room the signal was super weak. Otherwise, the food, the main bar, the pool bar and the swimming pools, the beach at the foot of the hotel, the different restaurants, the room service little varied but enjoyable, the shops inside the hotel, bus stop at the foot of the hotel, atm to get money. Without a doubt I would repeat again. The experience was wonderful 💚🤍❤️

Room upgrades are nice. Many of the staff have become friends, some like family — we are always welcomed “Home” when we arrive with smiles and hugs! Entertainment staff is the best!

GR Solaris Cancun is a beautiful place to stay for a family vacation. We didn’t really do any excursions outside of the resort, only stayed playing at the beach and pool and eating in all the different restaurants. The food was delicious and ALL the staff were so kind and accommodating. The service was really spectacular.

Such terrible service, we had planned to stay for 6 nights and ended up changing hotel due to the lack of good food, and good hygiene. First night we got into bed there were multiple small cockroaches, then we went to eat to find out the food wasn’t good at all and the service at the restaurant wasn’t good either, they lack variety of food and the personal is very sassy you can’t really express a concern. We became members last years because of how good the hotel was, but this year everything was so horrible. We even brought another family to see if they wanted to become members as well but they were discussed with the idea.

It has an excellent atmosphere and entertainment because every day they have a different theme (varied shows).
It is clean in general.
Nice rooms, spacious, amazing view.
The staff was friendly, I never had a bad experience with any employees.

Only one bar stays open all others close at 6pm. Liquor is not of quality. Only 2 restaurants open at a time which reservations have to be made. They can only be made before 3pm and check in is at 3pm. Be careful not to be more than 10 minutes late because they claim that everyone is already cleaning. When you check in no one gives you instructions on restaurants or food locations. You basically have to walk around looking for food. Mask must be wore all the time at the resort, even after you test negative for Covid. Beach is not flat.

One of the BEST times I’ve ever had! This was such a great hotel with a great experience. We had so much fun and everyone was so amazing. It will be my the only place I will stay when I come to cancun.

Friendly staff … always clean and kept up … just wish kids weren’t allowed by swimup bar but other then that love the resort.

Entertainment staff was so fun and pools and jacuzzi were great! Rooms were nice and clean.

I loved it there! I will certainly come back next year! although some guests stole something from me I would like to have their security systems strengthened in the restaurant area as I had to wait for them to report my object because it was the only solution they gave me apart from that all well the attention of all.

We just came back from GR Solaris And we had such an amazing time. Everyone was so friendly and everything was so clean and they took very good precautions regarding Covid. The thing I love most about this resort was the entertainment by the pool and the shows at night they were absolutely amazing! Will be back again soon.

Completely unhelpful and unwilling to make adjustments because of COVID. They tell you not everything is open or available. If you want to rebook when things are safe and everything you pay for is actually available they are completely unwilling. Customer service does not mean a thing here. If you can’t provide everything I expected when I booked then you should be willing to rebook or refund.

This resort is horrible in so many ways. 1. The food. Room service food tastes like cardboard and is always cold. I didn’t think it was possible for pizza to be bad, but they have somehow accomplished that.

GR Solaris is the best! The friendly staff is what keeps me coming back. The Entertainment staff has become like family to me! They work extremely hard each day to make sure everyone around the pool is having fun. There is something for everyone whether it’s Zumba, water aerobics, crazy games, bingo, or tequila volleyball! The bartenders at the pool bar are awesome and always have a smile on their face! Thank you Jona, Lalo, Orfa, Bella, Ruben, Itzel for all your hospitality poolside! It’s always so hard to come home! My family and I had a great time! From the moment we walked in until the day we left we were treated very well. The entertainment was good, food was good for the price but the staff, they were amazing. Everyone was very helpful. We will be back and would recommend this place to our family and friends!

Very family oriented hotel. My kids LOVED the mini club and the camp. The girls in the mini club were amazing, my kids miss them already. Great rooms with wonderful views and very spacious. The ice cream offered in the Deli is AMAZING. The food and drinks were a bit disappointing.

Spent a pleasant week here. The hotel was clean. The food options were decent for an all inclusive resort. The drink was the only reason why I'm rating this place 4 stars since they were using lower quality liquors over major brands. All 3 pools were nice. The beach front was beautiful. You can walk 15 minutes along the road to a boat dock where you can rent kayak for exploring the lagoon. This is also free and won't cost anything. Would go back.

The minute you arrive you feel welcome. Views from the ocean room is phenomenal — especially when you want to see the sunrise. The food will satisfy all the different tastes. From the associates to management, the staff is very friendly and ready to assist. Overall, the place is nice. The few downsides that made me deduct one star was the broken thermostat in my room which didn't allow me to control the temperature, and non-working safe.

Our first time in Cancun and we stayed at GR Solaris Resort. Excellent guest services, special thanks to Yecy Pech for excellent service, Sandra Carrasco from Expedia did a great job confirming our Xel-Ha excursions, to the servers, Antonio @ Rosmarinus & Cafe Solaris, David from Rosmarinus Mexican Night, Pedro & Fernando @ Zai, Jonathan from Marco Polo. To all the room service guys, very good job. To all the housekeepers, great job for keeping our room neat, clean and organized everyday for 5 days. Awesome & wonderful experience. We have no doubts that our stay at this amazing hotel has been the most awesome and unforgettable experience ever! The food is very treated, the drinks are great and lets not talk about their staff! They have the most humble, professional and caregiver staff that we have ever met and seen in any other hotel. We wish we could give them 10 stars! We also highly recommended their SPA services!

My husband and I visited this resort on June of this year for 9 days. We loved the resort because it didn't feel commercially big, nor small. All staff was very courteous and friendly especially in the dining areas. The service was great. Javier in the pizza area was very friendly and was always happy to serve. The Bellboys Jesus and Alexandro, were very kind in helping us with our luggage and accommodation. They were also very informative in letting us know of places to visi…t. The rooms were always squeaky clean! The waitresses were always attentive and ready to serve you the next one! Even though it rained a few days, the hotel always had ways of entertaining the guests. The night shows were great. The Michael Jackson Tribute show was excellent! Wouldn't mind watching it again. If you're looking for a nice family resort, this is the one! Definitely, we will go again next year.

My wife and I traveled from Boston to Cancun and stayed at the GR Solaris Cancun & Spa Resort for our 25th anniversary. We spent a week there and I must say we had such a wonderful time. Everyone, from the airport bus pickup, to our stay at the hotel and back to the airport, was incredibly nice! Most importantly, we feel it’s important to recognize Francisco at the front desk, who was VERY professional, VERY accommodating, and VERY welcoming. Rodrigo was another person who greeted us as we walked into the hotel, he was an outstanding individual who took his time to explain the entire hotel, and its amenities, as well as the other 2 nearby properties owned by the Solaris chain and gave us a tour. The room cleaner, male, was just the nicest and polite person you could ever meet. The entertainment/poolside staff did a fantastic job as well! All-in-all, their staff was amazingly nice! Every day and night, there was a variety of good food, drinks, shows, etc.  The place was clean and the areas outside were very safe as well. Including the streets and places we went to while driving to the excursions. We had a great experience and would have to honestly give this place 5 stars!

I am 1 of the party of 24 that visited last week. We all had an amazing time. Everyone was excellent. We took our 4 boys and they loved the kids club they made fun activities had movie nights xbox in the am and kid pools. Super kid friendly. Room service was fast easy and very yummy (solaris burger was my fave)
The bar was AMAZING I had the best lemon drops and I was the queen of ordering San Francisco drinks. Our room was very clean and fresh. The shows after dinner was one of our favorite parts of the day. AMAZING thank you GR solaris!

Great hotel, Great Stuff, Great Service… Things that would be nice to change are: Internet price $16 per day? way too much, can offer free Wi-Fi or price it at $5 or less per day… Gulf debris are not being cleaned up, but instead are covered with the sand. Would be nice to put a net around the place which belongs to GR SOLARIS to catch all the debris and let the customers enjoy the water MORE… Other than that, it is PERFECT RESORT PLACE…

We just got back 10 wonderful days in paradise. Make sure to visit Gilberto for breakfast and his friend Jair they are both great and love chocolate. Javier makes the best pizza. Don't leave your plate by the pizza station. We hated to leave.

The food was not edible & champagne was harder to get than street drugs seriously. The room was nice & had a beautiful ocean view. The food & bar set-up was horrible which we literally starved for 5 days until I found this Taco spot "Blue Gecko: which defeated the point of paying all this money for an all-inclusive resort. The staff was friendly but had annoying polices like having a special card to get only 1 towel @a time for the pool area. They treated their wine glasses like gold always chasing us out of areas along us to transfer our wine into a cheap looking sippy cup. Won't ever go back there.

I will never get tired of GR Solaris. I have been coming with my family since I was 16 and just got home from a trip yesterday with my boyfriend. It was his first time and he loved it as much as I do. The staff is always unbelievably friendly and accommodating. The waiters and bartenders remember us year after year and treat us like family. The pool was refreshing and clean. The entertainment staff was outstanding — so fun and did their hardest every day to get the crowd up and having fun, even when some days the pool crowd wasn’t very active. I have recommended GR to family, friends and even strangers. The new members bar is really nice and the food was great at every restaurant. I look forward to coming back year after year and one day taking my children here. This place will always be special to me!

I've got to say, I'm not a picky person and I can make a good time out of most times, considering it rained for the first 3 days so I didn't get to enjoy the beach till the 4th. But let me start with the pros — the beach and pool are great well kept. The beach is easily the highlight of the resort really nice though very wavey, the staff is great, the omelettes during breakfast are the best thing they make in the entire resort… and that doesn't say alot. Unfortunately the bad outweighs the good by alot. You get what you pay for. I arrived to the resort and it was pouring out but that wasn't going to ruin my yearly trip. But the tasteless food, watered down drinks, having to reserve a time to eat in THE BUFFET? They stated when I arrived at the hotel to eat in the other restaurants you need a reservation. We tried Marco Polo the food was not good not worth the reservation small portions limited options. The following day we tried the buffet we were starving like most of the days because lunch was far from appetizing. The hostess informed us that we need to make a reservation for an hour later she reccomended the theater room. So I attempted to eat in the theater area that also has a type of buffet which is much smaller with less options but the food was horrible. The combinations of food just didn't make sense not even a decent dessert. These terrible "french" pastries that I don't know who on Earth even eats its just not good.

Last week I took my husband to Cancun for his birthday we stayed at was supposed to be a 4 star rated hotel. Being totally truthful the amenities and the grounds were quite suffice. With that being said this particular resort had one glaring default. The food service which in my opinion is one of the more important factors when choosing a resort. Upon arrival and our first encounter with the food was truly substandard and appalling from the selection to the taste to the temperature to which the food was served was truly disappointing. One evening we decided to be adventurous and made a reservation to eat at one of the Brazilian styled restaurants on the resort. To my dismay I was completely disheartened and disgusted. The selection of meat that was being served on the skewers was atrocious. One selection of meat that stands out a piece of steak that was riddled with pus like mucus sacs. I have pictures to prove the aforementioned. Over the years I have eaten at various steakhouses and never have I encountered a piece of meat that I have just described to you. Midway we decided to abruptly leave and find other means of sustanence due to being served meat that may have possibly been contaminated with mad cow disease. This is totally unacceptable when you spend your hard earned money to vacation at an all inclusive resort. Lastly we were taken to view a presentation at a neighboring sister resort. At this resort part of presentation was breakfast.

We love our choice and the time we spent here! Very beautiful location, it’s a Paradise (despite the fact, we are from Florida) ) )! Lovely and friendly staff, professional service, comfortable rooms. Of the meal our favorite was the Chinese restaurant and the amazing choice of meal at the show at PB floor. Great entertainments non-stop, funny and lovely. Just loved this place with its great atmosphere!

Currently staying here. So far it's great. However a few warnings. First, you have to wear a wristband your entire stay and if you lose it you have to pay to get a new one. Second, there are times when they play very loud music, or the hotel nearby, so if you want to sleep at odd times of day or have an early night, it's not always an option. Also they give you a card in order to get a pool towel and you need to have either one before you check out or it's a $20 fee. Beyond that, the service has been fantastic and the food quite good for buffet style dining. I've been enjoying my time here.

This is a great hotel as far as hotels are concerned. Variety of food was fantastic. Great nightly shows. The resort, however, was on the smaller size, so at times, it felt very crowded. The only thing that I would say that I was disappointed with was the beach. Beach was not as clean as expected due to amount of seaweed that swept ashore. On the days we were there, the waves were rougher than expected. Swimming at the beach was limited due to the severity of the waves. Overall, the hotel was nice and the staff were friendly.

I liked the hotel mainly because of its pools and proximity to the sea, what I do not like is that it has free Wi-Fi, they sell it to their guests when this should be a service already included considering the level of this hotel.

It is a hotel with direct access to the beach, very nice, they have special places for children, good food, clean, they supply good basic products for the bathroom, it has free Wi-Fi access, it has a daily cost per device. Good location, far from downtown but close to Playa Delfines, but good access to public transportation $12 MX Pax.

Very good citio for vacation they treat you very well. The staff always wants to see you eating or drinking something, all the staff is very polite, very friendly from the one who serves you for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooms are super clean and always equipped with everything you could possibly need. It would come back again. As long as I don't bother with the time share.

This was our 2nd trip back to the GR Solaris (10 years later) and it has not changed a bit! I was expecting a decline in service or experience and it was exactly how I remembered. I also want to thank Rafael the Beach Lifeguard for helping my husband and I. We went a little too far out and were losing strength trying to get back to shore and he saw we needed help and got two adults (total 300 lbs) back to shore. I will forever be grateful for his help. If there were no lifeguards on duty I don't want to think about what could've happened.

It is a very nice hotel with all the amenities and excellent service. The food is very good and I liked that at night they always offer dinner show. The pools are air-conditioned and the beach is divine. The staff is friendly and always available to the guests. We had very nice and would go back without hesitation.

This is a nice hotel on the beach. 5 restaurants and 4 bars means you won't be hungry or thirsty! The shows are amazing! Don't miss them. The beach is great and 2 pools. If you're interested in a 30 year vacation plan listen to their sales pitch. They will give you good deals on excursions if you listen to the 3 hour presentation that turns high pressure at the end. If your not interested just say no. Not sure if the savings were worth it. Have Ivan help you when you get there he's awesome.

The rooms are clean, the pools are very nice. I like that it is very close to the beach, however the people selling stuff on the beach gets very old quick it’s like every 10 minuets you have to be bothered by someone. The drinks taste like they use the cheapest alcohol ☹️ The food was not good at all! The only meal that was good was breakfast because it looked fresh. The food by the pool was disgusting, too many people putting hands on everything. The deli sandwiches were okay. The room service food was absolutely horrible ☹️ I ordered chicken tacos and they tasted like fish from yesterday. I personally would never stay in Cancún again.

We had an amazing 10 day honeymoon. Could not recommend it enough. Fully inclusive we ate and drank well. High light was definitely the pirate ship party great night was had on the high seas. On and the beeches and blue warm sea never too far away.

The only bad thing is that you have Q pay aside for the Internet.

This place is amazing! I was skeptical on booking here at first due to some not so good reviews but I'm glad I didn't read too much into… We loved it here! The food wasn't bad at all. It's nice and very clean! The beach is nice pool area beautiful nothing to complain about. There's always something you won't like no matter where you go. We came here to celebrate my birthday and our first Anniversary and I'm glad we did!

The best mini Club for the kids we've met! Karen, Yesy, Perla and Montse were very attentive and pleasant, excellent looking after the children, climbed the wall, made handicrafts and had fun with the games and the pool, so we could relax and enjoy the hotel. Excellent 4!

The Primerps days I was tasting the food but then I enpezo Acansar that always ubiera the same food the Sercisio impeccable the animators tambienmuy good place I recommend to go with family charm me.

Restaurants must be booked one day in advance. NO causal SHORT PANTS allow in restaurants. Foods and alcohol are limited and low grade quality. Our bathroom smell like sewage. You paid what you get. 4 Star Hotel is more like 2-3 Star Hotel in my opinion. Good luck!

Third visit here in 4 years. If anything it's even better now. The beach is incredible. The staff is fun and friendly. Food and booze are good for an all inclusive. A really good value too. We're ready to go again!

The restaurants in the hotel are delicious and the customer service is excellent. The only thing is that it is a party hotel and not relaxation then depends much on what is the purpose of your stay there… The beach is beautiful and the drinks very good. All very clean and the rooms very good size.

Had a great time there! Not the fanciest resort by any means, but the staff was friendly and courteous, the rooms were clean, the buffets were better than average, and the reservation restaurants were delicious. There's only one bar open past 10 pm and it closes at 2 am, but you can buy bottles of liquor for your room for the same price you can get the equivalent brands in the U. S. The bars are all completely included with an all inclusive packages though so depending on how long you like to stay up you won't even need to do that. Best bars are the pool bar during the day if it is warm enough to be in the pool, and the patio bar for the afternoon and evening till it closes. The lobby bar is the only one open past 10 pm, it is decent and has live music every night. Also the resort has shows every night at 8pm and some of them are definitely worth seeing, especially the Michael Jackson tribute show. Hope everyone else has a great time out there!

The overall resort is a pretty good bargain for a traveler without any high end expectations. Food was fair. Alcohol pretty limited other than a great variety of frozen drinks which were delicious. Staff was pretty friendly overall. "David" at the front desk was a superstar and an excellent representative for the company. His customer service and desire to listen and react… top notch. If I lived down there I would try and hire him! Great views from most of the rooms. Limited shopping at the resort which probably saved me some money. The beach is spectacular as well as the variety of pools to swim in. The noisy pool with activities going on all day. Swim up bar was nothing special. There is a little less noisy pool that was colder water than the other pools and the adult pool for those quiet times. Get reservations to the two higher end restaurants to avoid the ho hum boring food served daily at the other restaurants.

Clean rooms and facility. Food is… ok. To me what you sort of expect at an all inclusive resort. However, the staff is top notch! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating! From the Front Desk to Housekeeping. Our beach waitress was Odleay and it does not get any better than her!

First time in Cancun! Picking to stay at Solaris was great. It’s not huge so you really get to know the staff and they remember and interact with their guests. Has two restaurants, was only able to try one. The buffet was good. The night show and dinner every night is great if you don’t plan to go out every night. The theme of it changes everything night and the food to go along with it. Was never approached for time share or pushy stuff like that. Will definitely recommend. The Cancun letter sign is in the pool area makes for nice pictures.

The pools water cold and the entertainment was OK. However the food is just disgusting. We barely ate anything during our stay. The food was unappetizing and the drinks were very weak that we will never be back. We had a group of 10 people and everyone was disappointed. So disappointed that we left the resort on our sec day there and booked a room at Hyatt ziva resort that was 20 times better, and that resort gets that many stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It is a resort with a good relation quality/price. Excellent for family vacations.

Overall well. Although I expected more of it in some respects as attention. If you are Mexican do not expect to be treated like a foreigner by the waiters. Lack of attention in the pool area the rest as the food is good. The shows in the evening good. But actually I went to cheaper hotels that offer me more quality and attention.

What a great resort to vacation at! Fabulous shows & entertainment! STAFF IS IMPECCABLE & CONSTANTLY SERVING YOU! They Aim to please you in any way possible. Food & cocktails in the common area's are just slightly lacking. But still worth the trip because of the budget. Wide selection of activities constantly going on because of their great staff! The views anywhere on the premises are STUNNING! GREAT PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES!

Very nice, clean and good food. The staff is very attentive and well-prepared. The only bad thing is that the lobby bartender skimps on quality and quantity the drinks according to the tip (dollars), I understand the attention but it is not necessary to be sooo mercenary.

The hotel in general OK!
I had a detail with my room, as it lasts almost more than 6 hours without me supplying drinks in me frigobar! It should also be noted that in the beverage bars every time you ask for liquor or other drink even get angry for not leaving adequate tip, as mostly gringos always leave up to a dollar for every drink you serve!

Well we’re back from our belated honeymoon. The resort is very nice! The rooms are clean but a bit outdated. Also the walls are paper thin. We had some loud neighbors and had to be moved to another room. They upgraded us so it was all good:) The pool is clean and nice and I can’t say enough about all of the workers! Everybody is very hospitable and willing to help out at any time! my only complaint is the food:/ Best thing is the breakfast and the omelette bar! We have one good dinner at the restaurant that happen to be seafood night! salmon, steak and shrimp were delicious! Overall my wife and I had a great time!

Hotel is gorgeous. Has a grand entrance that really steals the scene. Hotel staff is very accommodating to your needs. We stayed for 4/3 and had a progressively better time each day. Food choice is average for buffet food. Pools and hot tubs are well cleaned. Family friendly and beach is very accessible. Planning another trip in 6 months with our kids.

Great service, very Charming and Welcoming Personality! The Fitness Center very small (antiquated, equipment, so old they all squeak, treadmills are obsolete) fitness room does not compliment the hotel, and the quality of food, one example is (margarine vs Butter) cold vs. Hot, prevents a 5-Star rating. Society today is becoming more holistic health conscious, its equally important to maintain my workout regiment while on vacation as with other inviting activities.

My wife and I took our belated honeymoon to Cancun and we stayed at the GR and had a great vacation. The food and drinks are not the best but with everything there is to offer I never had a hard time finding something to eat. Room service was prompt and 24 hours, it was so nice to be able to pick up the phone at 2am and have a piece of chocolate cake at my door in minutes. After we were there for a couple days and the staff recognized that we were tippers our service then went from great to outstanding. The best tip I can give is to tip $ your servers and it will come back to you. I think this was the only vacation that I didn't want to end eventually. Incredible staff. We love this place and will be back someday.

The hotel is really nice and we even got a free upgrade with an ocean view and Jacuzzi! The bartenders only know basic drinks but will make anything if you tell them how to make it. The only compliant I have is that we booked a room with 2 beds and they gave us 1 big bed. Sharing a bed with my brother wasn't part of the plan, but they did bring in another bed. My cousins (brother & sister) also booked 2 beds but only got one big one. Once again the hotel brought in another fold up bed, but at the desk said that they couldn't change the rooms. Something about only having certain rooms available. It's kind of annoying since we booked the rooms with 2 beds in January. But overall it's a fun hotel that's not too far from downtown. The food is great but room service could be improved (not everything on the menu was available). The age range varies so it's fun for everyone.

My husband and I went to Cancun for our anniversary. We stayed at GR SOLARIS, and it was amazing. The hotel is located just about 15 minutes from the airport and about 25 minutes from downtown Cancun. The staff was great from the moment we walked into the hotel. We reserved a deluxe room and the front desk upgraded us to a beach front room upon arrival. The food was fantastic and the staff worked very hard to accommodate any of our additional requests or needs. The nightly entertainment was absolutely amazing. From shows in the ballroom, to live music in the lounge bar, to the pool, there is constantly live entertainment. We were beyond pleased with every aspect of our experience and can't wait to bring our kids back with us next time.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! They have three different pools: one with a swim-up bar, one for adults only, and another for playing, having its own set of basketball hoops and water polo goals! All of the staff are really nice and helpful. The hotel is right on the beach so you can walk right out on to the beach if you want to; the water is not cold at all, it's actually really warm. The hotel has its own restaurants that you can eat at every day, all inclusive. This hotel is totally amazing and I would recommend this place to any who wish to come to Cancun!

Staff was excellent and very friendly. Booked our trip thru an interline discount site for travel industry employees. They flat lied and told us this was not a time share property. We hadn't been in the lobby 10 minutes and some guy wants to tell us all the "features" then starts in on the membership talk. Food was mediocre and never seemed to be what they listed on the calendar for the dinner theme any given night. Also had to request new room immediately. First room smelled musty and just wasn't that nice. One of the front desk managers, Christian, was very understanding and upgraded us to a much better room with a better view also. To sum up, staff great, property so so, food not so good. If everything else there was a good as the staff, I would give it 5 stars, but don't think we'll return any time soon.

The rooms are average, the beach is fantastic, and the food is very mediocre. I actually lost weight at this AI. I love food and have been at half a dozen AIs in Cancun and Punta Cana and this has by far the worst food. Really disappointed by that.

Just got back from Cancun, stayed at the GRSolaris. Hotel is clean, food is good and varies from day to day, shows every night (small but good), super friendly staff, bartenders awesome, water IS drinkable, the dancing at night was great. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel and plan on going back. Away from the crowded hotels, so beach was nice and quiet and beyond gorgeous, and kept very clean. Lifeguard on site. I'm glad I didn't read all the complaints, not sure which hotel they stayed at, I had an excellent experience. Being all inclusive is the way to go!

The food was not great. Very small selection and poor quality. Staff was great and friendly. The rooms could be loud with all the tile, but really that just depends who is around you. The hotel was very nice and the beach and pool were amazing. I would definitely go back! Worst part was the time share they push on you, but we did get a nice snorkeling cruise out of it!

Came for our Honeymoon in January 2016. Was told we were getting an upgrade to ocean view. Instead got a room that faced street and all you saw off balcony was a brick wall. Bed was rock hard! I'm not picky but the bed really did suck. Drinks were great. Food was not great. Cheap food and didn't enjoy it. Nightly entertainment was good. I wouldn't stay at this resort again. But overall wasn't the worst place to stay at.

Very good service. The all inclusive buffet and drinks are amazing. Would highly recommend this resort as is very affordable and worth the money. The shows are pretty good each night too.

Very fun to stay there, all very clean and I loved the bar snacks.

We came here with friend's on a timeshare. Had a great time. The staff was very friendly and always made sure we had a drink in our hand. Nice pool with a swim up bar. Highly recommend.

Great entertainment crew all around! Pool area is great. They put on fun activities/competitions daily by the pool. In-house shows are nightly and entertaining. There are plenty of options for food but none are great except for the pizza by the pool. Food quality is about the only knock I can think of. Overall good place and great staff.

The ambience is nice. There's a show almost every night with a little bit of everything like acrobats, singers, forkloric dances and entertainment. Food quality is acceptable, I definitely enjoyed the Mexican Cusine the most. Rooms are good, spacious with a decent view if facing the west side of the building. Restaurant staff is friendly, unfortunately the first group you interact with (receptation) is not.
