A really good place to bring your family. All inclusive resort. Food and alcohol. Water slides and numerous pools for the kids and adults. Right on the ocean with beautiful ocean views and easy access to beach.

I was there the weekend and I liked it! The rooms with spectacular sea view, the food very varied, excellent treatment. Very complete hotel. I super charm that there is a pool only for adults. My partner and I who don't have children love him, we relax super at ease.

Excellent service by all hotel staff, comfortable and spacious facilities. The food has good variety and is rich although in the specialties they should have a little more options in their menus. In the theater and word of law firm they need to serve the air conditioning. From there on out everything is amazing as the kids area make the family have amazing times.

We came here for our honeymoon and the atmosphere and staff was incredible. Not to mention the view! 😍

The Mendoza family loves Crown Paradise and will continue coming for many years to come. Our children have the time of their lives while there and so do us grown ups. Wonderful restaurants, amenities, shows, kid activities, staff and more. We’ve visited the past two years and can’t wait to go back.

Very clean, very polite staff, food is amazing with lots of variety. All the pools are thoroughly cleaned at night including all the walkways, lounge chairs etc. Definitely will return once the pandemic is over.

This place is amazing and Angel is the best man — waiter, he's just so lovely, friendly and hard working nothing is to much for thisan.

Love love love crown paradise. Amazing food service and etiquettes. Really big and nice structure how it’s built. I am missing the place so much! Only complaint I have is ‘dinner reservations’ service — they never puck up your phone once you are jn resort. And receptionist says we need to keep trying till they pick but eventually book dinner reservations for you right there.

Its very family friendly. The only thing kids paradise. That is located in the hotel. Make sure you feed your kids and plenty of water. Because they don't give no snakes or water. While they are in there.

Here are the highlights: great view from my 7th floor, 2nd tower room. Club access had very generous hours & friendly staff. The two restaurants (steakhouse & seafood) that I had reservations for, where very good! All the staff were very friendly! Here are the negatives: Upon arrival, my room was extremely hot. Grabbed food, showered, and went to bed. Called front desk multiple times the next morning with no answer. Went to the concierge on the 8th floor and maintenance was called. He arrived 45 min later. I spoke of the problem and said he’d return with a part in 10 min. One hour later he still had not returned, I called the front desk again, several times, and finally received an answer. I was informed that maintenance said they had fixed the problem. I informed them that they had not. Maintenance & supervisor came to my room & changed the dial on the a/c control but they were unable to lower the temp. I was told by the hotel mgr that the room I was in was generally warmer & we looked at 3 separate rooms together, all of which had the same temp. I was told I could get my $3.00 room service fee comped or a 2 hour later check out for the inconvenience. I asked for a fan! The manager encourage me that he was here to help but I felt demeaned at the fact that what he was offering for compensation was $3.00 when I paid $140 on my room & was inconvenienced for half of my day. There is a mini fridge in my room which was hot to the touch.

My first time to Cancun so many places to pick from expensive to cheap and off course look at everyone’s reviews. Want to give Crown Paradise a 5 ⭐️ from when I got here the employees are so mannered in helping the staff is just great and helpful. The drinks I never had one bad drink from all the bars and even night club. The food is just great from the upstairs treats and drinks to buffet even at 3 am u get hot food. The pool was great rooms clean AC cold champagne and bubble for jacuzzi. For my first time Cancun this place made me want to come back to them.

The hotel is great. But I have a few complaints… the food is nothing special… the only place I wasn’t sweating is in my room. The pools close too early, 7 pm Daily… the slides and other activities are not open enough … the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Staff is awesome, they work very hard so we can enjoy vacation!

Amazing stay, have to say I was a bit worried about all inclusive but every since we check in and got welcome with fresh cucumber water on champagne glasses I was, I am Mexican and for sure my family and I are coming back. Food was delicious, service excellent and our housekeeper Isabel made us feel home! Resort is great for families, our twins loved it! Thank you to all our servers at the restaurants they where all so polite and amazing.

Just had a two week stay here to get married. There was 48 of us in total. Nicole the wedding coordinator was absolutely fantastic made everything so easy for us. She went above and beyond to help us have a great day. All the staff could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. When we arrived we got to our room and I wasn’t completely happy with the view and the porter angel I think he was called, got us changed to a different room with an amazing view. The food was great always something to find to fill you up. Restaurants were a little bit difficult to book into at times. Aricilli (not sure on her spelling) she worked the college bar in the evening was amazing always so quick to serve us she was so lovely and chatty. The pool bar staff were great also. I can’t say anything bad about this hotel or the staff they were all fantastic. Would definitely return to this resort.

I just got back from the resort and I loved it. There was plenty to do never a boring moment. All the food was fresh and the delicious. There were plenty of pools and they even had a adult pool. The bars well stocked well and the drinks were delicious. You didn’t have to worry about the bars they had enough to accommodate everybody. The staff was well groomed and showed us do much love while there. They provide excellent service to all guests. I will be going back with my family.

Great resort for family on budget. We got all inclusive w food and buffet for 5 days. Staff are professional and courteous. Pools are well maintained and got bunch of water slide. Beautiful view from room on sunrise.

We had an amazing week here. The staff are fantastic and so friendly. It is clean and feels really safe. Our kids loved it and we truly have eaten and drunk to excess. The setting is beautiful and the weather was great. I recommend here and we will be back.

This was my second time staying at this resort (3 years apart). I can't really say much changed, which I was hoping it had. We decided to go back because of how affordable it is and how many activities they have for kids. The people as amazing there, I believe the bell boys name was Jesus, he was nice and always smiling and willing to help with anything we might need. Both times we stayed there, they were able to accommodate us to a room that would fit our needs. Be CAREFUL with losing a towel card/towel, YOU WILL BE CHARGED! I believed I paid like $20-25 for the 1 card I had lost. The food could improve, my husband owns a fast food Mexican restaurant and he was pointing out all the things they were doing wrong. Cross contamination, the grills were so dirty nothing was cooking and etc. I really hope they improve because I feel like it has a great potential, only if they were to invest in it more.

Excellent stay. The staff taking care of IHG members was excellent and was warmly welcomed as one. The hotel is older but very well maintained. The only thing they should be aware is that Dreams hotel and resorts are trying to steal their customers by lurking them for free breakfast. The food in Crown Paradise is excellent so I would strongly recommend it. The beach is clean and cleaning of the rooms was spotless with everything you can possibly need already provided including distilled water for ironing.

As a family 4/5, as a couple 4/10. Clean and friendly, great for children, but it is probably better to choose somewhere else as adults with no kids. The buffet is great for most meals and Alexis, one of the servers at the buffet was excellent. We searched him out for breakfast and lunch and we're never disappointed. The Italian restaurant was less than stellar however. The service was great, but the food made me wish I had skipped it. The children did enjoy the Kids Club and asked to go back, and the covered pool offered a welcome break from the sun on the beach and main pool area.

The hotel is in a convenient location, with the best, according to our wife's opinion, the beach.
Maids and private staff do not speak English.
Waiters courteously love tipping, in Mexico, by the way, everyone loves tipping.
The hotel is all inclusive.

Funny cute Otelchik. It's all in place. I would recommend the hotel to families with children up to 7-8 years old… Older is no longer so interesting. And a little expanse. There are slides. Children's town. Other children. Parents can think about themselves a little bit.

The staff was amazing. Adult pool was the best. Alberto adult pool bar tender was superb. Reservations were need for specialty restaurant. Didn't make sense because there were open tables? Buffet was the best choice.

This is my 4th. Time in Cancun; I have been to other hotels close to this one and although I had a good place there, the experience gained at Crown Paradise has been exceptional. The price paid, the attention received was the best. The rooms are nice all with sea view; Excellent restaurants (I recommend the French restaurant), the amazing Buffet with different menus every day and very varied for all tastes.
I'll be back here next year and next and next and next. (My only observation is that they have faster elevators and I see that they are repairing them. )

It's a good all inclusive hotel… I spent delicious… The beach has its problems because there are many algae in the sea… Also staying at the hotel much gringo 90% of the occupation seemed gringos.

Without doubt the favorite resorts we stayed during our honeymoon in Cancun! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The bartenders were very attentive and polite. The staff was extremely friendly at all times, the restaurants and buffet were delicious. The Seafood restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We really enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back again!

And better A/C in the game room would be a huge plus. But kudos to them for having legit ice cream, not just those soft serve ice milk dispensers. Very bad experience. 2 star Hotel could say. Very bad food.
The good thing about the hotel, the attention of some officials. Bad reception. Room is old. Hygiene is not deep. Bad experience in general. I do not recommend.

Just home after a 2 week stay here. The service was outstanding. Friendly helpful staff great room service and our chamber maid was cheery and always surprised us with gifts. I love the humour of the people and location was good also. Very clean and efficient. Lots to do or just relax if you wish. Downside was had to travel a bit to go into town and woken up early with kids pool party games. All activities we did however were fantastic experiences with the exception of chichen itza, although the place was beautiful the journey of 9 hours and only 2 hours in the actual place was far to long for a day trip. The place was however paradise and we will be gladly be staying here again. Thank you for making our holiday truly magical.

We came with 2 kids under 8. Despite a few cons the stay was very good. Hotel: Upon arrival we were greeted with glasses of very tasty lime/mint/ cucumber water. Check in is very slow took 40 min. There were only 2 family in front of us. At the check out we were given 4 cards for towels and told if we loose it it is $35 US dollars fine. The ‘do not disturb’ sign disappeared from our door EVERY day! After asking a few times to give as a new sign, we gave up. After the knock, the door was opened immediately not giving us the chance to come to it. Rooms are nice, beds are comfortable, view on the ocean is a huge plus, we watched sunset from the hallway, since it is on another side. Service: Outstanding, very hard working stuff, We met only one annoying servant, he learned 2 words in a different language and repeat it every time he passed by during lunch, one lunch I heard ‘Good thanks’ over 20 times in 20 minutes. One of the servants in buffet showed us a balancing forks trick, kids were so existed! Food: Tips are not required, but highly appreciated. Usually we tip $1 or $2 for buffet, $5 or $10 for dinner at the restaurant. The Mexican restaurant had outstanding service, food was good. Italian not so good, after 25 min waiting my husband went to get drinks at the bar. Buffet was our favorite place to eat, in the morning they make smoothies, Food and drinks were different every day. Stakes, fish, chicken for dinner is amazing.

The staff were friendly and though their English is limited, they tried hard to be helpful. We specially loved our waiter, Juan Carlos. He is very attentive and pleasant. We were there during the spring break March 11 through March 16 and the place was very busy. There were six of us and Juan always make sure we have a table big enough for six.

Beautiful place, the attention never fails, the sea view with its main pool is absolutely breathtaking, the restaurants and the buffet room are pleasure for the palate, entertainment room and courts to perform the sport you like. A great experience.

It is the best hotel not so expensive (clarified) since company or package you buy. Real mind is very complete in all respects. Let's start with the attention you receive when you arrive, you are assigned your room in the fastest and most comfortable way they will offer you inside the hotel acctividades for entertainment they make offers but it is your decision if you accept the talk which will take away part of your time you can Avoid saying that you had already been given this talk or that you have no time to ever refuse in a rude way as it is your job. Talking about the food there are 7 restaurants 5 require recerbacion and 2 do not require there is a bar with recreational acctividades for small and large there are bars located on the beach and areas of snacks there are 6 Pisinas 1 exclusive for Adults 1 for children and babies 1 roofed 1 with 4 Tobog Anes and the most for all this hotel is highly recommended and by the staff and attention you get thank you help me a lot your like.

Because as we know all Mexican is not well cared for that we do not leave dollars, the hotel is nice but it is old, when you arrive the bellboy are not, they are very tarted at the check, the. Staff in general are carefree, the restaurants are good in flavor and variety, you recharge the minibar when they want or they can, it has more bad things than good, in if the staff is fatal.

It all depends on each one. Me. The hotel has its own specialty restaurants, its children's water park, its 4 slides, and its beautiful beach with choppy but fun sea. I must also mention the quality of their workers, at least with me all and everywhere they were very attentive and polite. The rooms are all kind, the simplest I was comfortable.

This is a beautiful resort. Great for kids and adults. Top notch staff and all the restaurants were fantastic. We stayed at the adults only floor and was definitely worth the upgrade.

The place is excellent they make you feel special. We were there from the 23rd to the 30th of January. The staff were very friendly and helpful. At La Palapa (buffet) I felt very good, I am allergic to gluten and the captain was attentive every day of my stay to what I could consume. On two occasions he prepared me special food. Very good and clean facilities, all the time there is staff cleaning up on the beach! There are adult-only spaces, only for children and family. We went to 3 very entertaining show, the magic was great. You can not get bored in that hotel there are activities for all tastes and ages. We would have to improve on timeshare staff, they are very insistent! At one point my husband asked him to please let us enjoy it because we were seen getting off the elevator and coming over us! The rest excellent. We would go again.

We are staying at this time in the hotel and the truth is that we are very comfortable. There are dinners with reservation for each restaurant. The Frenchman certainly takes all the laurels, elegant with ambient music and elaborate dishes very rich.

We stayed 7 days at Crown Paradise and some things were good but overall I would not go back. Our room fridge never worked and nobody cared. There was never ice in the hallway ice dispensers. Our room keys constantly deactivated. The beds are rock hard. My son made 3 different appointments to get his hair braided that kept falling through. I did not like the fact that we had to make dinner reservations the day prior. Everything had to be so calculated and planned out. The kids activities had to be pre — registered in the day as well. It was vacation I just wanted to live in the moment more so. The food was Mediocre at best. The bartenders were all fabulous and kind. The service at the adult pool by Roger was exceptional! I did like the constant activities for the kids as well. Overall the concept of the resort catering to children and adults is great but I guess for such high ratings I had expected more.

Nice hotel pretty clean. Beach is great quite clean and the water was warm. Waves were high so have to be careful with the kids. The service was good, but could be more friendly. The water in the pools were too cold especially in the kids area. The kids club is pretty good if you need a couple of hours for yourself. The aromatherapy massage was also good (had to pay extra). There was one cooler day and the only warm pool was the the hot tub which was in the adult area. The buffet and the restaurants were decent (and we are vegetarian). I wish they had more variety or were able to make more vegetarian dishes (like vegie burgers in the snack area). Also it was good that they were able to make some dishes vegetarian in the specialty restaurants. The evening entertainment was also very good. The mini golf course and the games room was good for killing time before leaving the resort.

Room super comfortable, great view. The food at the buffet is exquisite and they change it everyday. The girls at the baby center are so sweet and patient with the little one. Kids pool is awesome and they offer different activities everyday Now about most of the employees… I seriously don’t get why everyone but the janitors is so rude. The ladies at the little shops are seriously disrespectful. You come in and say “hello/good morning” and they just ignore you. I still can’t believe what just happened to me: I went to buy some chips and cookies and once I got to my room I realized they’ve charged me an Indian mask I never intended to buy! Went right away to return that hideous mask and the lady started arguing with me saying that my husband left it at the counter. Even I explained to her a bunch of time that she was wrong, she didn’t believe me and DIDN’T GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK UNTIL SHE CHECKED ON THE CCTV that INDEED the man that put the mask WASN’T MY HUSBAND. (Wait, there’s more) Even told me a girl on the video was my daughter and OF COURSE until she saw me enter with my real daughter still didn’t believe me. I don’t get why they act like this, I mean, big hotels like this one are supposed to hire people with skills to treat their guests the proper way. I love Cancun. The beach is amazing. But I am not coming back to crown paradise.

Excellent hotel, very good superior room including Jacuzzi, very good service and attention, varied food, restaurant the Roosters serve little but very delicious… excellent beaches good swell and crystal clear water; Do not withdraw at the hotel cashiers the cost is excessive 7USD for each retreat.

It has convention center, car rental, different shops we must, jewellery. The restaurants are very varied and has wheelchair access. The front desk staff is very ama le and always willing to help in the inconvenience of the guests. The place is always clean.

Just got back today morning and missing it! The experience was wonderful. Great food especially the variety of tropical fruits and fresh fruit juices. The grounds were clean, clean pools. Absolutely kid friendly and safe. My daughters (12and9) enjoyed a lot. Great staff and loved the experience. Will definitely plan another vacation there!

We just checked in today and we are already so happy. The grounds are beautiful and clean. We have been to the buffet, the bar in lobby and snack bar — all have great service and food/ drinks. Michael Jackson show was amazing. We are disappointed in two things so far — our room which is on old side and closed kids pool. Concierge has already promised us a better room for tomorrow so we are looking forward to that. I hope kids pool open soon enough as we were very excited to use the piratship and all the kids slides. I will post an update later. Update: We were given a room in bldg. 1 and it is so much better with a great view. Kids pool opened on schedule and kids loved it. I would like to mention Jesus at front desk who was super helpful with change of rooms and any questions we had. Robert the bellboy was very gracious in guiding to the Flea Market within hotel zone in the evening. We are thankful for that. All the restaurants and buffets are amazing with a changing menu. However, I wish there were more options for vegetarians at snack bars. Overall a great stay. I would recommend this place.

This resort is incredibly clean, there was always someone cleaning or wiping or scrubbing something. Our accommodations were great. Room is a bit dated but we got a great bang for our buck. The employee's of this resort are exceptional. They were incredibly grateful to help with anything at anytime. Food was "ok" the buffet had a great selection of foods. The restaurants in the resort served mostly massed produced entrees, none of these tasted bad however some tasted a bit bland and not overly tasteful. I was very happy with our experience overall and wouldn't hesitate to attend this resort again.

My wife and I just returned from our 3rd stay at Crown Paradise. I don't often write lengthy reviews but there are certain individuals that deserve to me noted for the over-the-top service with big smile. Araceli is one of the beach servers who lit up our day, beautiful smile. Hector, we have seen Hector there for many years. Always look forward to seeing him in the eating area, what a great person. Emilio, one of Crowns best. Always greets us with a smile and a hug. Emilio and Isaac are the first people you meet to take your luggage and help you through the registration process, awesome individuals. Peter and Dariana in the Members lounge are super. We always look forward to breakfast and seeing there smiling faces. All on all, Crown Cancun is one of the best and highly recommended. Thanks folks.

We are at the beginning of our holiday, but the Crown Paradise Club is already a success! For our stay there was one negative thing at first: The hotel reservation system said we were a month early. After they had seen our reservation papers, they gave a room to my family. However the room is not the one we booked. The food is good, the staff friendly. The beach is clean, like the rest of the hotel. Our room is in front of an old abandoned hotel, but you can still see the ocean. The air conditioning is a bit strange; When the system is activated, the fan always stays engaged regardless of the temperature: The result is a noisy room. We have more than a week left of our stay, and I think it will be beautiful!

Very friendly helpful staff. Huge thanks to the entertainment staff. The food was good. Always had a big selection to choose from. No one got sick. (That wasn't alcohol infused). The beach was great, rooms were clean and cold with AC. Kids enjoyed everything there was to do. Too bad the slides were closed.

It was my 2nd time at this resort and I was not disappointed. All services were available and staff very helpful and friendly. It is a great place for families with kids. Our kid loved all the activities at the resort. We could not be more happier with our stay.

The worse resort in the world! Don't do it,! Food is horrible! accommodations are suspect! Just look else where! This place has fake reviews! No way some of the reviews could be true! … Will be writing a full review soon!

Some parts of the resort were great and others, not so much. I'm giving it four stars simply because my stay there was great and I'd go back some areas were lacking. Good stuff: Buffet at la playlapa was pretty good, and changed up food each day for something different. All the bars were fully stocked and made great drinks. Access to the beach was wonderful. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The buses stop right out front so using the buses was easy. Bad stuff: The room was had mold in it and as I'm allergic to mold that wasn't good. Some of the food could be improved. The restaurants were lackluster at best but the French restaurant was pretty good. Some areas could have been a bit cleaner. Overall I'd stay here again. It was a nice place with great staff. I'd just like to see some areas improved.

We booked Crown Paradise because we had 50 people coming to see us get married at another venue. It was affordable and kid friendly. What we didn't know, was it would be over crowded. Some of our guests did not get the room they were booked and the food at the buffet is terrible. The room was clean which is a plus. But it doesn't get anymore commercial and basic as this place. Only come if you have kids. Otherwise stay away. The only thing that made the trip enjoyable was having our friends and family. We eventually found the adult only pool. But adult only is secondary to the experience. This is not a romantic get away for 2. It's a family resort. Good Luck.

This resort covers everything. It's like a full on vacation at one destination! There is full for the littlest kids to the most elderly! This place is so cool, I Forgot about the ocean and the beach. The maids do a good job too. We came too our room and my little sisters rammed into the glass sliding door that leads to the balcony. That's how good of a job the maids did. The food was also amazing. I'll give it a 4 star. Overall, It's worth a destination!

This is family paradise. Was a bit scared traveling first time to Mexico but after we got there all was wonderful. Hotel and staff was very good and the sea is amazing. True Caribbean. I would recommend this IF your going with kids. Not a hotel for solo adventures You have to be informed about basic stuff in Mexico like don't drink tap water if you want your room super clean tip room service 1$ they will kill it so do your research.

Hotel with sea view. Very family. 3 swimming pools, water slides, children's play, cinema, several restaurants, beach, entertainment every day around the pool, big enough room, Mexican show every night in the lobby. The only flaw is that you cannot drink the tap water. Apart from that I would recommend the hotel.

My kids have thoroughly enjoyed the pools, the activities and the food at Crown Paradise Crib. The kids club is an awesome option as well. I'm only giving it 3 stars however because the facilities are older and a little run down. You can hear all the noise from the lobby in your room until very late. The beds aren't all that comfortable. It's difficult to regulate the temperature in your room, thus it's very moist and humid in your room making your sheets and towels moist at all times. We aren't likely to return.

This hotel is pretty superb. Being all inclusive allows you to enjoy the various commodities, food, and beverages without worrying about the cost. There is also lots of space to enjoy oneself preventing any sense of being crammed.

The rooms were good. Ocean view beds and pillows horrible. Hard beds lumpy pillows. Walls are thin so u can hear kids yelling in halls. Food not so good. Was hoping for authentoc mexican. Even the mexican was poor. Everything very poorly underseasoned. Dressings and nacho cheese watered down. I was overall satisfied but be prepared to be nickeled and dimed for every little thing that you need extra. $8 to use a computer and internet for half an hour $4 to make a 1-800 call local in Mexico! I just needed to print one paper. Sell sell sell and everybody wants (expects) a tip. The restaraunts were awesome. If u can get a reservation. They only have so many but when we went it was half empty… fishermans was good. And steak good at wayne boots. Service not so good. The workers do not try to accomodate much unless u tip… service at fishermans was awesome! no complaints there. Pools are great and plenty of activities. For kids too.

Looking for other options, I have been to the Barcelo and Dreams, and without a doubt are better than this. They only have a Buffet restaurant and the food is not very varied, since they do not charge for the Internet but require you to leave a card (from the hotel) to get a towel and if you don't return they charge you $35 USD. Don't carry drinks to the pool. Eye, will invite them to a meal inside the hotel, where a representative will inrentará sell packages for future holidays, that makes me unethical. Juices are not natural. Conclusion. It's not worth what you pay for.

I taste and if he would be back, the facilities are good, the pool on roof is great and the water of all the pools is warm, so that you can get from early until 8 in the evening, the waiters very friendly, the food rich, the guys from the staff fun and very parents the shows, the children's area is super good, large and fresh, the spa is highly recommended. What can improve is in the area of snacks that always have the same thing, and the attention of the chefs at the food bars, they have an attitude that they collide your work, otherwise IF RECOMMEND!

I liked it a lot. What we enjoyed as a family. Comfort and enjoyment for all ages. Very good customer service, and in addition all inclusive. Had already been and I repeated the experience. I recommend it.

It was almost perfect, only three details…
1 — There are staff that offers packages to continue to travel, so they offer you some breakfast and talk with the guest, to make an offer in 90 minutes. These 90-minute extended half day (lost) by passing with a third person to close the sale was rude, arrogant and want to close fast the treatment, I realized that the staff that greeted me I was lying for several hours. 2 — room, I stole a bag of my little girl (maid July). The bag was a craft that I buy to my daughter with some weights. 3 — When you exit the hotel and make the check – out I wanted to address the truck to go to the center, but the guard would not let me leave because they had not cut off my bracelet and had to corroborate this with not who for letting me get away…

This is my home away from home. The wonderful staff always treat us like royalty. The club rooms are spacious and clean. Every room has an ocean view which is great. The food is great!

Nice rooms, just didn't get the rooms that we requested in January. Excellent service, great food, wonderful atmosphere. Great family resort.

Friendly staff and buffet food was ok. Speciality restaurants are not worth the hassle of going through reservations, picking up your dinner pass etc. Kids menu at the restaurants are limited to the usual micro-waved pizza, hot-dog or nuggets. For a family-oriented place, there is nothing really for the little ones (under 3 or so) and the standard rooms have only regular beds and they do not offer bed rails/guards. The rooms are old and run down. The beach was nice and there were plenty of beach chairs. We have been at several other all-inclusive hotels in Cancun and this was our least favorite. This is not a 4+ star place; I would rate it max of 2.5 stars.

Pros: Definitely kid friendly Rooms were very nice and view was outstanding All our issues were resolved Ocean was stunning loved the beach The drinks for kids was a really cute touch Loved the resort layout The choice of indoor pool Cons: -All the children got hand foot and mouth virus including one adult as well on the trip (which is understandably common but I do feel concerned with how sanitary the resort really was since it was detected that it did come from the trip) -Room had a huge flood we were moved to a new room -The staff were definitely not as friendly as we anticipated until they started receiving good tips -the people who sell shares soooooo annoying I never felt so irritated in my life and harassed at a resort they wait everyday in the main lobby by the elevators and everyday try and sell to you! -the elevators HORRIBLE we at first had the 6th floor which the view was definitely outstanding but with the flood our room was moved to the second floor we were soooooo thrilled. The elevators would take forever let alone always jamming! -The buffet does not have a huge selection and was always rammed not enough seating for dinner it was insane trying to eat at night!

My wife and I went here on our honeymoon. We were so excited because of good reviews and very nice photos online. Let me tell you, we were deceived! We got there and our room was dusty. The mattress was soaked. Our shower drain did not drain. My wife began to have a rash once we got to the hotel. The food is not good — don't trust the reviews. Sub-par desserts, bad attempts at "American" food, or cold entrees. For as much money as we spent, we expected great food — not so much! The alcohol is free, which is really the only reason that people go. Free booze — and everyone partakes. Even kids are welcome in the bar area. My one "pro" was that all the staff was very friendly and welcoming. But even though they were kind, this could not make up for the low level of cleanliness and bad food. Please do not visit this resort — spend your hard-earned money elsewhere. Sure, the ocean and view is beautiful, but we all need to eat and sleep; neither of which we were able to do comfortably.

Very good service from the staff. The food is little variety in the buffet. I was not possible to book restaurants of especiabuffete, the line was always busy.

Just came back from this resort for our first time in Mexico. Great choice for a family vacation, our kids loved their time there. They have a fun kids zone with waterslides and a pirtae ship. Beach is ab-so-lu-te-ly exquisite, with white and pretty fine sand. You can go pretty far in the sea while standing (once you clear a little valley before a large sandbank). The seaweed was minimal and they picked it up in the morning, so no worries there. The buffet was correct, but the specialty restaurants were really good. There's a mechanical bull in the steakhouse: and it's really hard to do a decent run! Close to the airport, nice staff. Our room was upgraded (at no charge) to have bunk beds for the kids! I would recommend this hôtel! Miss the mojitos already!

Bad things — sewer smell from treatment plant across the street. Took a few hours to get keys, key machine down. Had to listen to banging till late at night from the remodeling. One of our rooms smelled Musty. Timeshare people. Hard to get dinner reservations. Good things — Very Courteous staff. "Awesome" Albert the bartender made specialty drink holders out of pineapples for us. Maid service was excellent. Activities were good. Buffet. Pools were well taken care of. Beach was nice. Room view was Nice. Overall experience was Very Good Even though there were a few issues, for being my first trip to Mexico I had a pleasant time.

I loved their restaurants.

I'm SHOCKED that this resort has 4.5 stars. I spent 8 days at this resort and I can honestly say it was the WORST hotel I have ever stayed at! There was a group of about 30 of us that traveled from Wyoming for a friends wedding at this resort. The day we arrived the "honeymoon suite" that was promised to the bride and groom was not available, instead they were given a room with a king bed and bunk beds. The next day they were moved to a "honeymoon suite", then the next day they were forced to move again because "a pipe burst" in the first suite. Many others in our group were so unhappy with their rooms that they changed multiple times as well. Just a brief list of some the problems I had during my 8 day stay… •You have to keep something (a room key or maid service card) in the holder outside the bathroom for the bathroom light to work •The hotel has a mass shut off of all the balcony lights that turned off around 10pm •Water in the shower was luke warm •They charge $8/hr for Wi-Fi THAT NEVER WORKS •The hotel has little to no lighting except for the lobby and the lounge •50% of the resort was closed for construction •ALL of the restaurants require reservations •The buffet (only place to eat without a reservation) has TERRIBLE food, our group was sick all week! •The three pools that are open, are definitely NOT heated •The pools close as soon as it gets dark, which was around 6pm The ONLY things that was good about this resort was the bartenders in the lounge.

The hotel in general looks good. The food at the buffet is very similar and many times unattractive. Although the rooms were clean, the beds smelled bad. Theatre and film are always dark and it is difficult to see the cleaning, however, it was not necessary to see them to realize they were dirty because they smelled bad, in particular the cinema. Not in that place occurred (bed, theatre or cinema) but finish with bites of animals.

The place is right across the street from a water processing center. You can smell poop if you are in the upper pool. The first thing you encounter when you come in is a group of shark like sales people who immediately get you agree to spend the morning with you. They are trying to sell you a time share. Every night we had to sleep to the music of a horrible live band. They played until 1 am EVERY NIGHT. You can hear all the night time activity through in your room. Also, the hotel is next to an abandoned building that is have knocked down. I would not recommend this place. You had to pay for wi fi and the beaches were super weedy. The food was just ok but not great. Very little shady spots around the pool.
