It is a good place for your stay, very welcoming, reliable, very clean with friendly people and good service to the guest. It also has a small but very rich pool. It is in a dry downtown area of shopping, food business, markets and bus routes. It is a three star place, it is economical, without sea view but very good place.

We booked a big couple bed room, they gave us a twin bed room, even saying that there is not any room with big bed but only twins single bed in all the hotel. Dust everywhere, air conditioner so old and so noisy that it has been impossible sleep all night long. When the morning after we went to complain about it to the reception, no any even fake apologize, bad treatment from them like we weren't saying the truth. They weren't able to give us another room despite our reservation, but only another twin room. Perfect topping, super poor Wi-Fi and super loud music from the pub in the hotel until late night.

Great price value. Could use some renovations in the near future.

Just what I needed, I went to Cancun to have a surgery and the Plaza Kokai is very near the hospital. It's a small, nice cozy hotel in the heart of the city, the service was very friendly. "Do not expect a 5 star hotel when u are not paying for it" t The money was worth it.

We had a beautiful stay, very good location, easy to get around by bus to the beach more or less to 15min.

The front desk does not answer they don't have the person trained to attend that is picture but when they want to corroborate a reservation I don't know how they do it but call suggestion change to the front desk staff and hire new people who have the aptitude. To attend.

The hotel is very good and the hotel is very central to Cancun.

A week ago I stayed in this hotel, pay in advance 2 nights, but however emergency canceled early the second night, I charged commission for cancellation for both nights, the manager does not give the face to solve my problem and I have not done the Pay the difference of the money you pay. Lousy response from the manager who never wants to cater to his customers. Sorry about everything else in the hotel. I hope and don't get to other instances in this. Be very careful, it is better to pay night by night.

The staff is really friendly and attentive. However the hotel is not of very good quality, during my stay Hugo two fights out of my habitation which made me feel very insecure. I recommend it for stays of no more than two days.
So hotel has a pool that I could not use because it was always sick to and in bad condition, the dual makes the price to pay is very expensive.

The. Hotel is beautiful, excellent price, good attention, the only bad good for me was that the air conditioner makes a lot of noise, of rest 100% recommended.

A good choice in downtown Cancun. We were worried about the bad references we read and luckily we checked the opposite. The staff were very friendly and helpful. 2 blocks passes the R1 that takes you to the hotel zone, also is the terminal ADO. Highly recommended!

HADTA now good attention to receive us, the very pleasant place, functional elevator, many details in wood, the room pleasant, very good location.

It is located in the center of the city just 10 minutes from the beach and 20 from international Airport, Av. Uxmal No. 26 between Av. Madre and Av. Bonampak a very short distance from the municipal palace, the main banks, the market 23 municipal and the market 28 of handicrafts, in the vicinity of the bus terminal of East ADO, parks pharmacies, supermarkets and excellent International food restaurants.
All the staff highly trained and always with the best attention to make your stay the most enjoyable. The rooms in general have A/A, cable TV, bathrooms with showers, marble floors, and hair dryer. The hotel has swimming pool, elevator, lounges for social events with air conditioning, laundry and dry cleaning, room service, safe and free Wi-Fi in all rooms and lobby of the hotel.
The restaurant "El Mesón Español", specialising in Spanish and Mexican food.
There is also a bohemian "El stateroom" bar area with live music.
Personally my stay was of the best for my family and my pocket, plus the times I visited the city of Cancun for labor issues is definitely always my best option.

The hotel is very well located but the building is old and requires remodeling. The first level restaurant does not have all the menu items. Just outside there is a board games center that operates almost every day in a somewhat suspicious way as to the activities that occur there. It's the beds are hard and the mattresses are old. If you go for a walk to Cancun and the amenities are not your priority, this place is a good option. The reception is unfriendly with non-Mexican Latino tourists.

Only good thing about this hotel is the nice and friendly staff.

Pros: Clean, conviniently located… Cons: Unfriendly staff, I reserved a room for 33 dlls including tax, at the exchange rate it was supposed to be around 450 pesos but when I checked in they charged me 680 pesos because "their rate" was 18 pesos per dollar… ridiculous, this is a lot different than the normal rate… I asked for a quiet room in the top floor, and they gave me a room next to the elevator on the second floor… we got there almost at midnight and we only wanted to sleep so we went srtraight to bed… The website says "breakfast included" and this is what made me choose this hotel over all the other, well what's included is a continental breakfast only which is not specified on the website. In the morning when we got to the restaurant the waiter asked for a ticket that should have been given to us at check in… guess what… they didnt give it to us, so I had to go get it… I asked for orange juice and I got a fermented juice, it appered to be at least 3 days old, I brougt it to their attention and they just took it from me (no apology) and gave me something that tasted just like the old one but deluited… Overall I don't recomend this place, the lack of good customer service is very noticeable. We visited form Colorado but we speak spanish, it's very sad to see the difference in service if you speak english or spanish, if you speak spanish or are a national you get a lower service that an english speaking person… I still have to check out so… we'll se how that goes…

Service was good. Rooms are clean and all hotel necessity is provided. Location is a bit remote relative to the tourist area.

It is a cozy and central place in the city. It is located in a quiet area with a peculiar scenic beauty. Ideal for closing business and away from the traditional tourism of Cancun.

Familiar hotel, service is good but not parking.

You get what you pay for. Really friendly staff (at least some) but the rest is like from 60s… Very noisy hotel, old rooms, towels not changed in 5 days, torn edges, in very bad shape. Actually the whole place would need a "refurbish". But then — for the price and good location I think is is actually OK…

Service is friendly and the rates are cheap, but this is not a nice hotel. Stay here if your only motivation is budget. Breakfast is toast and coffee, the towels are probably clean but they are so old and worn that you can't tell. Rooms are basic to begin with but are run down and in poor repair.
