Oaxaca Hotels

Absolutely incredible place to stay while visiting Oaxaca. The location is perfect. Not too busy of an area but only a few minutes walk away from great restaurants, markets, and art galleries.

This hotel is beautiful and was recently remodeled!

Nice place near the center, with sharing little kitchen, quiet and clean. Good for vacation and working travelers.

Miguel and Carlo were absolutely wonderful hosts from the minute we arrived in Oaxaca to the time we departed. They were extremely caring and hospitable from the start.

We had an amazing stay at Posada Independencia earlier this month. We had two rooms and they were both very comfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! It’s so beautiful. The rooms and everything were so clean. The beach was quiet otherwise lots of chairs. Very private.

I would highly recommend spending a little extra for a room with a private pool. We made great use of ours, along with the spacious balcony. The room itself was a good size, clean, and comfortable.

What makes Villas Maria Isabel top notch is the staff! They are so friendly and really want to make sure that all guests are comfortable and enjoying themselves.

Great price for the 8 minutes walk to the beach, great foot, and good price.

If you don’t speak Spanish DO NOT STAY HERE as they don’t have people that speak English. The rooms are good, the bathroom is specious but didn’t have an exhaust.

We tried the roof top restaurant tonight. We are not staying in the hotel. It’s the best view in the area. Four stories up and looking out over Playa LaBocana. The foot was great. We had pizza.

Amazing value for money, rooms are a little small but they are clean and modern.
Jaden and Tomas at reception were both fantastic.

This is a great option for a quiet, tranquil haven for a stay in Mazunte. Its actually well situated for St Augustinillo beach as well (which we preferred).

I cannot say enough about this place — if I could give it 10 stars I would. Just wrapping up a weeklong stay here in the Casita Tropical VI — King Size, and everything has been perfect.

Beautiful rooms, excellent a/c, yummy breakfast, nice pool, beautiful views of the ocean. We loved it. It’s located in a tiny town with beautiful, remote beaches.

Very nice place. Away from the hustle and bustle, it has a virgin beach that we loved. Jessica and Kevin are excellent hosts. A car is required to get to the hotel since it's far from Huatuco.

Great hotel if you don't mind walking a few blocks. And I do mean a few. It's a 10-minute walk from the city.
Rooms are clean and just perfectly sized. Not very well sound proofed.

Very clean and nice hotel. Just a small walk to the center. Very good beds and the terrace with hammocks is lovely. Highly recommend.

Good location. No free breakfast. Phone doesn't work. Restaurant food average. Room amenities limited — no refrigerator or microwave. Room rate pricey.

Small hotel, but it’s in a great location, and it’s clean.

We had a wonderful trip to Oaxaca and our stay at Boca del Monte was great! The hotel is central, the space is charming, the breakfast is delicious and the staff is super helpful!

My group of international writers and I reserved the entire El Diablo y La Sandia: Boca del Monte for two weeks. Maria and her team, led by Juan Carlos, were pleasant and accommodating.

Stayed as part of a G-Adventures tour. Nice hotel that has recently been refurbished. Bedroom was newly painted and all furniture was almost new.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I had a room with 2 double beds. Great location, right in the city center. Manager was very responsive on Whattsapp.

Overall would recommend, worth the price. The location is super central and the room was as in the picture.

It is a hotel but you can also come here to have a nice place to rest, get a drink and food. Service is excellent and the day mattresses are very comfy with the best view! You will be happy here :)

This place has to be one of the most special hotels I’ve ever stayed in my life, it’s a unique boutique hotel that opens out onto the beach.

The hotel is clean and well maintained. The rooms are well designed. The path to the beach is short and the beach is great.

Pargo's Hotel & Cowork: Barely There, But With a View.
My recent stay at Pargo's Hotel & Cowork in Puerto Escondido for the "Mastery Wall Street Days" was, to put it simply, just fine.

Beautiful, simple and quiet little hotel.
Great location, great service. It felt like being home.

Excelente. Extremely calm. Staff was good and helpful, and it’s very close to the beach. There is no a/c but at least from autumn to winter it’s no problem during the night.

I recently had the privilege of experiencing a retreat like no other at Pueblo de Sol, and it was truly magical.

By far one of my favourite stays.
Pueblo del Sol is a small scale secluded retreat where you can recharge and (re) connect with nature.

A great service and very flexible and open minded personal at the reception!

La Punta's prime location is arguably best experienced at Frutas y Verduras. We spent just over two weeks exploring every corner of this house, one of the first in the area.

I stayed here with my partner during our first visit to Puerto Escondido. It was the perfect introduction.

I had a 8 days great time in this Casa Getaway. So quiet, really charming place. We were on the road side, we have a view of some kind of stables with horses.

Had nice rooms, no a/c but it had a fan above and mosquito nets so your comfy in your sleep and room. Has pool, gym, balcony, stove, kitchen, sink and everything to cook with utensils.

Came here for one night during our stay in Zipolite. Booked through Booking. Com, 2 double rooms.
Location is good — behind the main road up a hill. Parking is a bit of a squeeze.

Beautiful and peaceful place with comfy bed, air conditioning and fridge. Hammock on the porch and overall calm ambience.

Surprising nice and chill. Owned by a super gentile family 5 mins walking from the beach.

This hotel is in a great location, just a 3minute walk to the beach and right on the main road of Zipolite. The vibes are great, and the staff is amazing!
