The architectura and colonial decoration of the fifth is very attractive, this next to the view of the garden make the visit to the restaurant a very pleasant experience. The food is very good and the attention is excellent. The desserts of mamei and guava were exquisite! It is very worth visiting the restaurant of the fifth even if you are not a guest!

It is a beautiful place to the naked eye alone I went for a tour to boil the water, it is very close to the temple of Santo Domingo.

It is a wonderful place, where you can find traditional Oaxacan food, the structure of the building that houses the hotel is magnificent, the cost is high but it is worth every weight.

We trouble checking in! Otherwise I would havr given it 5. We wasted over 2 hours checking in due to miscomunication between the back office and front office! It was annoying as we missed out on going to Mont Albion!

Old ex-convent converted into luxury hotel. No doubt the best thing to offer Oaxaca in terms of stay. It is a beautiful place with high level details. It has very high prices and a little disproportionate compared to the general offer in Oaxaca.

Very good hotel, of the best with what counts Oaxaca and its surroundings… Unbeatable location in the heart of the green Antequera, having as main tourist attractions nearby, the Macedonian Theatre Alcalá, the temple and ex-convent of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, the Museum of Philately, the tourist walker, etc.

Beautiful hotel! Just walking the aisles takes you to another time. Still has some cons considering the price of a room. The lack of bathroom windows or extraction leaves a lot of humidity in rooms. Small and old TV's. Food is average and pretty expensive. Overall a very pleasant experience.

The Food in the restaurant is really delicious, just like the breakfasts. The Service of the staff is very good.
The Building is a beauty and with a very interesting history of glory and deterioration.
Its location is excellent (one street from Alcalá Street and only a few streets from the centre and the cathedral)

Very nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Nice food. You should visit this place just to soak in the atmosphere and old spirit, you don't have to eat, drink or stay there.

This is a good place in terms of the setting and the renovation done on the convent. The rooms could use a bit of a spruce up and also the showers could be much better… as the water sort of drips. The Wifi is non existent in the room, and this is bad. The breakfast was very good!

We loved our experience at the Quinta Real. It is an oasis of calm and beauty in busy Downtown Oaxaca. It was a privilege to stay in such an historic site. The gardens and courtyards are sublime, and the service was excellent. It is an awesome place.

Quinta Real is the best hotel in Oaxaca with top-notch customer service and amenities. The rooms are air conditioned and there is daily maid service. You can have your clothes washed while you go out and sight see and it's conveniently located in the center of town which is where you want to be. The food at the restaurant is always great whether it's breakfast or dinner and the waiters are attentive and greet you with a smile. There's nothing not to like about the hotel honestly. There's also a reservations desk that can reserve tours and activities for you to do and the entire hotel is decorated with fantastic works of art. My wife and I will be back!

I have eaten lunch and dinner here on three different trips and have found the meals to be consistently good in regards to the Mexican dishes on the menu. There are other Europeanish dishes on the menu and have yet to try them. It's not a busy place and is way better than the places near the zocalo. I have never stayed here, but it seems that it might be great. The employees seem to have been here for a long time and are super helpful.

Easily the best hotel in Oaxaca. Below are the key benefits: — Central location, a few blocks away from Zocollo yet not in the middle of the commotion — Rooms are very well designed and comfortable — has a great restaurant on the property with an extensive menu with options for both local and more western cuisines — The staff is very caring and always around for help with anything — The pool / courtyard is perfect for a nice dip and to relax with soothing tunes and the chirping birds — A block away from Santo Domingo which is very cool and vibrant and the hangout of choice for the young and the hip — about 20 minutes drive to the airport The biggest attraction of this propertyo is its history. Can't put down in words. It's worth spending that extra $ to experience the history and the luxury.

A beautiful hotel.
Restaurant has terrible service. Three times asked for water. Never came. Asked for coffee refill. Eventually waiter came and poured hot coffee on top of cold. Asked to change, he did but took forever. Omelette was way overcooked. A pity, great hotel marred by bad service.

It's a very beautiful place to stay in when visiting Oaxaca, it's so closed to everything, the service is superb. I love the pool, the garden and the beauty of the structure of Quinta Real. It was truly a wonderful experienced staying in this hotel!

I met up with some friends and it was the closest hotel within walking distance. We ordered appetizers and drinks. Nothing out of the ordinary just a few beers to go with some nachos. We didn't stay the night so I have no info on the rooms or service.

This is a nice hotel. Their food is amazing! And the attention of the people is wonderful!. They are very warm and friendly. It is also a privileged site. You have everything close!

Food good, but not sufficient, I went to a law firm and desserts were completed and not put more. Overall good service, the price of the drink is overrated, very oriented to foreign tourists.

Beautiful place with gorgeous garden. Ideal for a fine afternoon coffee. This is an upscale place so expect to pay a little more, but you will be treated extremely well by the staff.
