It's a good option in the zone, because have 3 private beaches, many acqua activities and one exclusive children zone in the same place. The staff have a good atittude.

The hotel is very clean, appropriate place to rest, we were offered the trip to the bays not recommended for people who do not know how to swim.

The Good: beautiful hotel set on a breathtakingly gorgeous bay. All inclusive, so drink what you want, eat what you want any time. The rooms, facility, beach and ocean are all very clean. The Not — So — Good: the bed didn't agree with my bad back, and the food could be a little better. I recommend upgrading to premium tier.

We have spent a week there in family (2 young kids) and it was very nice. The people working at Barceló make really great efforts to make you feel well and comfortable. The two in charge of the kids area are full of ideas for fun activities; the ones in charge of the pool organize something all the time and are not bothering those who don't take part of them. The night show is also something they are making great efforts and it is of good quality. The beach is very close, the sea can be risky for the youngest though. The pool area is greatly separated in three sections: one for the kids, one for families and one for adults only (with a bar). The restaurants are also well organized and food is slightly variated. They should make an effort in the drinking waters though, they're too sweet and not natural. I would strongly recommend the Agave Mexican restaurant.

I would like to start off by saying how welcoming the staff is. The atmosphere is refreshing and the hotel in general is beautiful. The pools are remarkable and it is the perfect place for vacation with your family. One person in particular that helped me feel comfortable was a young man that worked at the gym named Miguel Hernandez. He is very supportive and has helped me daily in figuring out the perfect routine. His attitude is outstanding and has helped me progress. Once again it is a very lovely hotel, but overall the employees are what make the experience there extraordinary.

Stayed here in January 2018 and it was a pleasant experience. Mid-size resort with good a la carte restaurant options including Japanese. Buffet was decent, lots of fresh fruit. Great beach and views with equipment for water activities available (paddle boarding, kayaking, etc). Evening entertainment left a lot to be desired. Staff at the time spoke minimal English, however cleaners did great job with our room which was spacious.

Bad reception to visitors, relatives can not come to visit you because they stop the security. As if we're going to steal something, they treat you with little kindness and respect. Forced to go to the lobby because they do not allow family or similar. With this no matter the quality of care or service if you treat people like thieves.

The food experience. Is interesting. They have a system where you access to3 different restaurants, but not always available and the food is not excellent. Buffets generally are very good and rooms and personal are excellent.

Visited from Apr14 to 21. Everything was beautiful. We we're greeted by Csar in the reception area and he answered all of our questions. He was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. All the employees went over and above to make us feel wecolme. Food was excellent as well.

Stayed at Barcelo Huatulco April 17-24, 2018. We loved the place. Beautiful beach with fishes right at your feet, great pool with water slides for toddlers/little kids. Room was clean and comfortable. Stuff is friendly, but most of them didn't speak any English.

Just amazing, location is perfect for a ton of activities. Rooms are beautiful. Everything is spotless around the place and the staff are incrediby friendly. The poolside buffet was huge, fresh, and delicious. The staff there were awesome. Especilly Jorge, Luis, And Dalia. We looked forward to seeing them each brunch and they made the kids feel welcome. We will be back for sure!

A hotel with very good level of attention to the guest. Located on Tangolunda Beach. It's a family hotel. It has a children's club and multiple entertainment activities. Some rooms have a view of the sea.

The service is good, the waiters attentive and the food really is good. The higher rooms have a beautiful view of the sea. The most fun and comfortable is that they take you in carts to the room and the beach area, that is especially appreciated when the sun is very strong. I recommend the attention of Ignacio Madrid, knows how to treat customers.

The best deal for have a vacation plan with all the family, they have 6 different restaurants free bar service all inclusive. Shows everyday at 9:30pm and you can drink since 8am until 2am next day. Come to visit Huatulco you'll enjoy it.

The activities of the hotel in the entertainment area are fun and are luxury gesture Javier and Fernando are excellent animators the rooms are luxurious and very comfortable the restaurant area is pretty good and very rich.

I sincerely loved very much especially the class of the animator Javier is very good and motivates all people to join the activities I also loved the food and service of all in general, would return to definitely.

The great advantage of this hotel is that everything is included in the package as well as has pools and several facilities to enjoy the facilities. The rooms are very nice, the beds, the décor, everything! Very good the attention of all the employees. Tangolunda Beach has a very beautiful view!

You want to go on holiday. Go to Huatulco! a very quite destination, if you like quite. This is the place to stay. We were there and I can tell you, good food, open bar, gym rooms are very clean, personal very attentive. Very happy. :) :)

It's an excellent place. The hotel, the beach, the swimming pools, the food and shows. Everything is remarkable and well done. The attention is excellent, always with a smile and ability to solve any need. Super family atmosphere. A very recommended destination to go with family. I can't ask for more.

The price is good for what you get. Clean and spacious rooms. Loved the shower. The balcony from the ocean view rooms is nice and not very noisy at night. The food from the restaurants is good, especially the Mexican and Spanish. Italian and buffets is decent. Drinks are not as good, depends and there are no enough bars. The beach club is nice and the palapas are greatly located. The view from the beach deck is nice. Pretty close to the airport and friendly staff.

The place is nice, but they hire an animal control service that kills the natural fauna with Diávolos and makes you believe that an eagle frightens endemic birds. Very bad about that. The worst part is that they almost hurt my daughter with one of her shots. As much as they apologized at the hotel, they continued to kill birds and shoot from the rooftop.

This is a small piece of paradise The service was very friendly and helpful. Francisco with the water sports team was outstanding in his service. The waves and wind were perfect for an enjoyable ride with the catamaran. Our vacation was during the first week of January and the weather was consistently between 25 and 30 deg C. With minimum humidity. Just great!

Overall a fantastic experience! The weather was a solid 33 degrees Celsius the whole week without so much as clouds in the sky. The rooms have 2 beds and all of them have a patio to see either ocean or the pool. There is an all-inclusive to stay here which works well since town is a pretty decent drive from here. All of the fancier restaurants require reservations, but the sushi one takes forever and only seats 20 ppl. The food is quite good, and servers are very nice. They clean your rooms every morning before 12 and restock the mini fridge between 1-5. The pools are separated between the adult and family pools, but they are fairly small. The bar is nice, but fairly small as well as occasionally slow. The waves are quite small, so if you're planning to surf you'll have to travel down the beach out of the cove.

Really Great vacation spot with a nice experience. It is worth to get a all inclusive service. Unlimited Drinks food and more drinks and included room service, did I mention great cocktails also? Every night they have a good live shows for entertainment. Ask for a room sweet by the ocean, you will have two balconies, one facing the ocean and one facing the pool. It just costs little extra but worth the views. The pool is great, it also has an access to a swimming bar. There are plenty of chairs to sun bathe and be lazy all day. Staff always walks around and takes orders for you, with super friendly no fake smile SMILES :). Its a great spot to relax and escape the city life, you really do not think of anything except on how comfortable and relaxed you are. The hotel has plenty of yummy food options with buffet and restaurants. For travelers outside Mexico, this side of Mexico beaches and this hotel is best and not as crowded as Cancun with tourism. A really nice place to be, pack swimming suit, flip flops, sunglasses, and lay on a chair for the most relaxing week of your life.

The service is first class. The attention is outstanding and the food is delicious.
The hotel has a private beach and is right on the coast. You only need to walk a couple of meters to be in the sand and in the sea.

The hotel is good, be aware of the room your book and the preference to some foreigners against national guests. The personnel is helpful and always smiling. Food variety can be better, but restaurants with reservation worth it. It is a good hotel, installations, and location really good. Be aware with the currency exchange of upgrades they offer since they charge you more pesos than the usd published in their flyers and also the fact that if you want to get a good place in the beach either you go there at 6 am or you will not get a place since some people pay to get a good one. In summary, the service, room, pool and beach are perfect to have a good time, but be aware of those little details that can somehow bother and downgrade even the premium offer.

This our first time going away somewhere warm and it was worth every penny. Rooms are clean and quite. Good is great and the pool side service is great.

It is a good hotel for family holidays, has good activities to distract, has a loan of equipment for non-motorized water activities, the motorized is with extra cost, the detail is that the service to the room is taken, the restaurant Kyoto very cozy. And the shows in the entertaining auditorium, the beach with strong swell.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The animation is Burna for the Children. If you do not carry children I recommend that you look for another hotel. The food is average, if you want to eat seafood and very local food it is best to go out to the center and Look.

Excellent service and Attention. The menu is very varied and rich. Excellent Desserts. There was only one detail to pay not respect the promotion of months without interest outside of That. Recomendadisimo!

Bedbugs! The bed was infested with bedbugs, they bite me so bad. The staff didn't apologize at least. Really disgusting experience @Barceló Huatulco.

Happy stay in its facilities that have an excellent service of recamaristas and in restaurants and bar excellent attention of Mrs. Maria Reyes and Messrs. Jorge Garcia and Octavio Mijangos during the days 25, 26, 27 and 28 of September that I was occupying the Rooms 563, 565 and 567 in company of my family who has the same opinion also on the shows and performance of the dancers and in general all their staff. In my second day and the service is a let down compare with other Barceló's sites. Even though the the view is great and the facilities are ok I wouldn't recommend it due to its lack of attention, it seems as its a self service hotel with an all inclusive rate.

Excelent, it's a great experience to be here, all you can eat, all you can drink, the perfect ambient and weather to forget all your city problems. I really recommend the premium experience, the alcohol menu grows a lot.

Great service, great people, great view. Not so great food. Expensive over all. The beach is not one of the tops of Huatulco since the tide is very agressive due to the location. The rooms are wide and fresh. All the workers are kind and warm on their attention. The food is of good quality but pretty monotonous. The games like minigolf and tenis are incuded but a mosquito bite is guaranteed. The gym is small but the instructor compensates it.

Lousy service, unfortunately we choose there for our honeymoon, our flight was cancelled due to lack of crew in Mexico by the q noo could come that day, the adm of the hotel did not want to go one more day and even spoke to the airline for c confirm q no mintieramos but not even. When we arrived at last and without luggage to add more sadness, l-shaped reception a young communicated by phone. I guess the adm qcon and tone dscortez told him q cres? Already arrived, then told us q wait q our room wasn't ready, after a while we went to find us in our room with a bottle of mulled wine, melted ice on the day before the entire wet by the melted ice table, a sheet of welcome all stained, wet and some fesas with equal of melted chocolate, we didn't bother us and we decided to have a good, but without luggage, we went to the town but not before ask at reception q we expected our suitcases, then to our surprise airport sr called us to ask if we were at the Barcelo q it was calling and they say q were not registered at the reception they accepted q they were wrong and to make matters worse to leave the hotel our transportation service went by q they asked and we were not reported is the height of vdd very disappointed and sad. For the q is the serv. Waiters and Maid very well.

The week of 17 to 24 August 2015 were staying at this hotel for the second time since left us a good impression the first both the hotel and the staff, with the exception of the MS Victoria Hernández Garcia, Manager of reception. My husband and I are the elderly and this person who pleaded with would allow us to continue in the facilities of the hotel until you reach our transportation to the airport. La. Sra Hernandez Garcia flatly refused to allow us to continue in the thing and told us that the only thing that could afford to be there was until 1 pm. Leaving us in the open. We asked to speak with the Manager and also us was escape telling us that this was a joint thing was not true. I would ask the Sr Manager take the trouble to read my comment as by this incident we will never return to this hotel that has reception Manager to a callous and arrogant person.
