The Veranda restaurant has a very good buffet. For the restaurant on the 7th floor you have to book for dinner and it was not to our liking. The attention of all its staff is excellent. The drinks in the bar at the beach club are delicious. The pool upstairs is less crowded than the one at the beach club.
There was only one small detail that I don't know if it was from the hotel or the reservation of the trip and it was at the end, they sent to pick us up early without having confirmed. From there on out everything was to our liking. A greeting and thanks to the people who work there to make us feel better than at home, the waiters, the bar tenders, the cooks. One little thing: they do not leave the towels for the number of people in the room and you have to be asking for one too many or the mat. But nothing more.

The best attention … all staff. Ahradecido and attention the best of the best.

All the excellent service attentive employees and facilities at 100 the only thing he didn't like is that there were many flies in the beach restaurant.

Excellent service! Very friendly everyone, the place very nice, with everything you need to rest and have a good time… You just don't see the sunsets, but the view from the 7th floor restaurant makes up for it. Rich bait with a lot of attention and wonderful sea view. He would undoubtedly return.

We didn't have the best deal!
They are understaffed, the waiters are not enough, and the service is slow.
The buffet menu is not wide or varied, every day we ate the same, the only good thing was the snacks; the lady who serves them in the pool on the beach was always bad.
As for facilities there is no complaint, the rooms are very spacious, the pools in good condition.

I liked the treatment of the people, very hardworking, helpful and efficient and the gastronomy is excellent from breakfast to dinner, the snacks very clean everything. You feel at home and in confidence.

Very poor attention from staff, poor food services, regular rooms, poorly trained staff for public care.

The room was great, front desk was awesome. The only the I found the waitress at the restaurant where breakfast is served was nonchalant.

I have mixed feeling about what to write. When we arrived we were given a room on the second floor, Before we even went to the room they were wanting us to pay for an upgrade to the 10th floor. We did not want to go to the 10th floor and we wanted 2 beds so we were told we had to stay on the second floor. The room was old, dark damp, musty, had mould in the bathroom the sheets were wet with stains on the bed. We were the only people in that section of the building. The next day we spoke to our Westjet representative and she basically told us if we wanted a better room we had to pay as the people who worked there needed the money. We started speaking to other guests and found out that they all had to pay for upgrades because of the rooms they were given (although none sounded quite as bad as ours) and that everyone was charged a different price. Sunwing split the cost with their clients whereas the Westjet rep was not helpful. We went back to the front desk and complained. The Manager would not speak to us but was speaking to the front desk staff angrily in Spanish. We left and decided we would try again the next day and demand to be moved. When we returned from dinner we found our door open and a security guard next to our luggage. He claimed to be a maintenance man, had an old tool box sitting across the room and said he was there to fix the toilet. There was nothing wrong with the toilet and we did not ask for anyone to come repair anything.

Excellent service from the staff. Facilities are always clean, although the food is not always good. Very clean pools always.

Great place to rest and spend some time with family. The unpleasant thing is that the beach is far away. Transportation happens every 15 minutes and you're taken and brought quickly.

Rooms are excellent, always have the room cleaned when I leave for the beach. Which by the way the beach is warm and waves are fun to be in. Breakfast is 7 — 10 AM, Lunch is 1 — 5 PM, and Dinner 7 — 10 PM. Excellent food. Great guest service when ordering drinks and the waiters love to interact with you making it feel lively while waiting for your family to hurry up and get dressed. And the pools are clean and well maintained. Towels are nice, warm, and dry when you get them.

Overall it's OK the hotel, I got the price right for what I received. Although the facilities are not the most modern, they are not neglected and they are quite clean.
The shuttle service to the Beach Club is fast, a maximum frequency of 10 min.
The food is not from a Michelin star restaurant but I insist, it is good at reason to the price paid. Perhaps it could improve, but nothing was so bad as to qualify it badly.

Yes I would recommend it if you want to go to relax and are people of palate not very fussy. If your home has a private chef, then there are hotels of better category and therefore of higher price.

It Is A nice place, family atmosphere, relaxed, with beach club, if you have a problem walking or climbing stairs, consider twice because the rooms are surrounded by steps; In general bien ☺ ☺

It Is A rather nice place although I consider that for a place with so many things to visit as it is Huatulco in Oaxaca it does not seem so appropriate to stay inside a hotel to eat, sleep and stay, have good service and excellent facilities but for This time I prefer other experiences.

Great place … only the beach club and the rise and fall of the rooms in camioncito if you bother to walk… in general all good… the hostes are local and very friendly … I play a kind of paella with them. Love their place.

Unfortunately it was not all good, in the room of Cockroaches! lMe stayed only for 2 nights, habitancion 104! had roaches small already flat on the basing. Yes in truth it is intended that the guest feel comfortable in an error. Likewise, the odour on the pillows… not good… Rather unpleasant, gives an image that lack hygiene. No problem been given what I have said with photographs.

It is a very good hotel, close to the sea and with a aesthetically amazing, the service is always fast and friendly, with show's live for the nights and activities for the morning the only thing to note is that do not have a lot of variety in the breakfast but the meals change to a themed environment, and varied, all very well.

This place has all the services, swimming pools, an area to be on the beach, restaurants of Italian and Mexican food, bar service and buffet restaurant. The views that you see from the balconies are beautiful. The staff is very respectful and friendly.

Booked this vacation through WestJet vacations. The advertising showed a room with a beautiful view of the ocean, a beautiful suite with a king bed. When I arrived what I got was a room on the first floor, 2 single beds and a view of the parking lot. The room smelled musky/moldy and there were ants in the room. Went back to the front desk to discuss this and was informed to take it up with WestJet. Front desk Staff were rude and lacked customer service skills. We ended up having to pay for an upgrade to get the room we thought we were supposed to get in the first place. After the first 3 days the pool was filthy, and personally I would not use it. On a good note; the remainder of staff were quite friendly.

Beautiful resort with an awesome beach, great and very friendly staff, good drinks though the food could be a bit better. Its usually the themed meals that tend to fall short of what they could be. While it's quite debatable (depending on who is being catered to) I personally wouldn't mind seeing more Mexican meals rather than other cultural attempts. That isn't to say its bad, for me, it fell short. Though the breakfast is great, the open lunch buffets and ordering are about as good as you can expect (burgers, hit and miss fries, nacho bar, salads and other stuff can also be ordered). There is lots to see and explore in the town and even amongst surrounding beaches! Amazing place I could consider returning to!

I Stayed at the Park Royal from Feb 13th to Feb 27th 2018 and that will be my last stay ever! I was at the same place for a week last year and it was great, that is why I returned this year for two weeks. Now to the Scam they are running… Upon booking in I was allocated a room on the 4th floor, I indicated and showed the girl at the front desk I paid for a and requested the 10th floor when I booked the trip with Sun Wing three weeks prior. She told me the 10th floor was under construction and it was not available nothing was said about construction when I booked the trip. I then ask what about the the 7th or 8th floor. She said non was available. At this point I asked for my money back and was not going to stay for two weeks looking at a rock garden in the back side of the hotel when I paid for the 10th floor with an ocean view the same as I had the year prior… but paid considerably more this year. Now we were at a stalemate and out of frustration I pull out my Visa card and ask how much more to get what I paid for in the first place? All of a sudden for $310.09 I get a room on the 10th floor… which I was told minutes prior that was under construction… During my two week stay I ran into two other couples that had the same experience as me… Scam… Scam… Scam! … Never again! Robert Smith … Canada.

The vendors who give you the costs of their packages are rude and intimidating, make all the effort of your team go to waste. Its concept is interesting and it caught my attention, but seriously that that seller of name Adri, it annoys you the day and it frightens you to do business with this company.
The rooms are comfortable and nice, but the air conditioner is very bad, 27C.
Pools very well food between regular and good attention of the team, you see that they are in the process of cultural change, but some still have to work a lot.

A beautiful view from the restaurant on the 7th floor, the rooms quite comfortable and clean. The beach club very well, a recommended cocktail: Banana Hanna, the pool looks small and there are quite a lot of people. The beach for the night extraordinary view. The price is right. The good snacks, the buffet food is rich, and the night show at the Beach Club restaurant, very nice.

I had a very nice and comfortable pass around the world. Very attentive especially chauffeurs and beach staff all around. Clean the. Very rich Buffet.

It has an incredible view to the sea, the inhabitants are excellent, there is a van that takes you free to the sea where they have more pools and restaurant where they give show in the evenings. What I did not like was the buffet food, very poor, not very rich, I say you go to the beach in search of seafood and do not have… The rest as well in general.

The best place to stay for a family with children. Amazing nature, sensitive and sincere people, gorgeous ocean. Marvelous!

Not only is the beach not at the same location as the hotel, the buffet isn't either. A 10 minute walk for food… The staff speak very, very little English. We had to point to the scrambled sign, because they simply didn't understand. Only 1 a la carte restaurant is open each evening. So that 10 minute walk gets annoying. The food is OK but the selection is very limited. If you're fussy, you'll probably only eat salad. It seems like this place mainly caters to Mexicans. It's probably a time-share location. I see alot of people discussing things over breakfast. Is going to the Barcello worth the $1000 more? It's hard to say, but this place isn't worth what we paid. Also it's built Into the side of a mountain so every "floor" is a long walk up. Some days you don't get a hand towel, some days you don't get a bath mat, but the towels are nice and soft. The room cleaning times can be inconsistent.

A nice hotel. It has a beach club where you can have your meals all day long. Service is good and personal attentive and helpful. The view from the terrace pool is great. I don't give five stars because the property is across the street from the beach.

Our vacation was good, mainly because of the Staff. Food was ok. First floors room were very humid, like a cave. Unfortunately after insisting we were finally move to and other room A especial thanks to Karina and Antonio waiters in the restaurant who are very customer oriented Huatulco is a quiet destination worth seeing.

The hotel is very nice, has sea views in all the rooms. The service of the people is very good, they are friendly and they are always available. The beach area is very small but I think it is enough to have a good time with family.

We upgraded to the 10th floor which had a large spacious room and a great view of the bay. Food and service on average was pretty good. The hotel is built on the side of a hill which makes it very unique. In order to get to the lobby and back to our room or any other level, the hotel provides oversized golf cart style transportation and the drivers are always curious… Just make sure you dont forget anything in your room. (The fitbit counted 16 floors and about 800 steps from lobby to the 10th floor. Walked it once just to find out) The beach club where the main buffet was located could have been a bit larger. The size of the buffet was ok, just the amount of beach front which is limited to about 20 — 25 meters. We mostly hung out at the 7th floor pool and restaurant.

The animators do a very good job during the day keeping the atmosphere and the fun. The hotel has an open bar service for domestic drinks. It is worth mentioning that the hotel also has a private beach, which is beautiful; Perhaps the only disadvantage is that it is not next to it, but must take a cart from the same hotel that takes you to it and the restaurant. Even if you go walking, it won't be more than three minutes.
In general it is an excellent service. The rooms are very spacious and cue so with a small terrace very comfortable to sunbathe in private. The treatment of the people who work there is very good and they are very attentive and friendly.
The hotel has a swimming pool and a beautiful view on the 7th floor and on the terrace, in addition to the Italian-themed restaurant to which you have to make a reservation, but that is included in the "All Inclusive" service.
Definitely one of the best experiences I have ever had, not to mention that the beach is really clean and you can even see fish and crabs in it.

Great location, a few minutes from the airport and the center of Huatulco, has ample and comfortable rooms, the furniture looks recent and the most remarkable is the friendliness of the staff. Also how much with gym and activities at the Beach Club. Ideal for families.

In general it's good. The food well, the space also, the staff very attentive and the cleanliness also, the evening show very entertaining. What I didn't like at all were the beds, they are very hard mattresses and the smell of sewer coming out of the bathroom. Correcting those details if I would stay.

They have strollers to take guests to the beach. They don't always happen regularly. We exercised thanks to them. The hike is good.

Great place to rest. The food is not exceptional overall, but it's not bad either. They were all very kind in our stay. The room was very clean and spacious.

The good thing: The view, the friendly service, the cleanliness of the facilities, the entertainment activities.
The bad: You have to take a cart that takes you to the beach, the beach is small and with few lounge chairs, the drinks could have more alcohol.
I would recommend it if your priority is not to stay all day on the beach and really want to rest.

The attention of all of your staff is excellent. Nice and spacious rooms. From the fifth level there is a good view of the sea. It's a All inclusive hotel.

It could be better, but we still had a great time. The staff is very friendly and the food is good, the service in the bars is very good too. Everything is clean and the transportation to rooms, lobby and beach is quite efficient. The sea was very rough these days, but there are other quiet beaches a few minutes by taxi.

Good relation price-quality, the staff is very nice and it is an excellent option for families.

The service is very good, waiters, waiters and other staff provide a nice deal. Some rooms on the first floors require mattress renovations. The rooms are spacious, there is Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and in general the experience is pleasant.

It's comprised by two locations, the main set of buildings where the rooms are, and the beach club where almost all the action is. The main sets of buildings is placed over the hill so the hotel's 7 floors are actually separated sections accessible by stairs, a vehicle similar to a cable car, and several adapted pick-ups (like golf cars) which are constantly going up and down from the beach club to the seventh floor. There's a pool in the 7th floor where the whole Tangolunda Bay can be seen, together with a restaurant and a bar. The beach club also has a pool and a bar, and the entertainment staff organizes three or four recreational activities per day, together with a night show (dancing). The rooms are big but kind of old. They seem to be suited for long stays where a fridge, table, and tap are needed. Beds are not comfortable… Food and drinks are just fine. There are many options to choose from and snack spots (by each pool). We're having a good time here overall. This hotel stands as a good budget option!

Staff is friendly, our room has a great view, but the activities in the resort are limited. We were stuck in the resort due to bad weather and we ended up napping a lot.

March 13 to 21 our stay was the best. Fantastic service, extremely friendly staff, wonderful food, we even got upgraded to the top floor, the staff cant do enough. The ground beautifully kept the view stunning, cant stay enough about this faboulus resort, will come once a year for the rest of my life, and you should, too, you cant get any better then here… many thnx for making out trip the most memorable … Deborah and Richard.

Although it is not very varied buffet meal is very tasty, the bar service is great and their pools are very well.

Family friendly food hygiene, balanced, appropriate; spacious, clean, climate in the room functional and efficient, silent can rest very well; clean, spacious facilities and friendly staff, quality service; excellent choice to enjoy with your family and have a bad time…

Let's say this is an OK hotel if you are not very demanding. The rooms are big and clean, the views are pretty astonishing and the staff is polite. However, I have to say the hotel itself looks and feels old, no easy access since it's built on a hill and the food is not great. If you want to have a quick and cheap getaway this could be a good choice, but it's definitely not the best one.

Bad you take away breakfast arbitrarily, not to come if they don't want to have a bad time, this 100% better Barceló.

Very nice hotel, nice beach for swimming because there are no boats, and very comfortable and spacious rooms. Excellent Christmas dinner! Employees with a smiling and friendly attitude.
Bad thing is that you have to walk to everything… There is a funicular but it is lentiisimo (5 to 15 minutes to get) trolleys for the beach but is the same! Music of the very strong and shocking, the good beach restaurant is in the room rests very well and there is no noise.

I liked to stay there because the climate in the rooms is fresh and not bother. The beach is very nice only that there was a bit of trash from the palapas and nature. The food is delicious and is always hot, what I liked most was the Italian restaurant where the rich Hotel food.
Very good experience :) recommend it. Only I need more personal cleaning to the beach area and the pool water purification (since I was 3 days and felt sand all these days).
