Grana B&B

The Grana B&B is well worth the experience. The Hotel was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The Breakfast was very good with fresh fruit and bread every morning. The hotel was close to shopping and restaurants. My only complaint is the bar on the roof was way too many stairs for an old man. I did make one trip to the roof and did enjoy the wine and beer but with my age I chose to stay on the floor.
If I ever go back, I would stay there again.

My stay at Grana was pleasant and enjoyable. The historic property has lots of greenery and a beautiful courtyard. The rooms are very spacious and I loved the soundproof windows. The rooftop is lovely for sunrises and sunsets. The star of the hotel is the breakfast where the food is freshly prepared by an female culinary team. Each day there is a different offering and in addition to those offerings you can also choose eggs, pastries, and fruit. Their fruit is some of the best that I've had in a long time at a hotel. The hotel staff was also friendly and welcoming. The location of the hotel is nearly perfect as you are steps away from several sites of interest, dining, and shopping. I enjoyed my stay and look forward to coming back.

Just wrapped up a wonderful week staying at Grana. I’m not quick to use the word “perfection”, but for them, absolutely. The facilities were stunning, the breakfast was next level, and the service was what I hope other aspire to. We were so well taken care of. Would absolutely recommend and enthusiastically return.

My husband and I just returned from a week in Oaxaca, hosted by Grana B&B. What a special place! The physical accommodations are beautiful and well cared for. The staff is kind, attentive, and welcoming in a way that I think can't be faked. Our breakfasts and happy hour snacks were really fresh and delicious — maracuya mescalita I will remember you forever! There's a market right outside the front door and everything we did in town was walkable. I would love to return to Grana B&B!

Such a lovely little gem in the heart of Oaxaca. It is the perfect location at the heart of the city. The courtyard area is just gorgeous and really provided a wow moment upon check in. They offer some incredible amenities like all day drinks and snacks, a delicious breakfast and free yoga on the rooftop. The beds were comfy and the rooms were beautifully designed. The only downside was the sound transfer from the street and courtyard but the hotel provides ear plugs for that. I would certainly stay here again on my next trip to Oaxaca and would highly recommend it as well.

This place was such a gem — everything was very clean, super quiet and beautiful. Great location. The staff were very accommodating — making us a nice lunch with hot coffee for our 3:45 am departure to the airport. Emmanuel (hoping I spelled his name right) was SO great. You can’t go wrong staying here.

Loved this hotel. Primo Location. Amazing building—a renovated 18th century mansion with a gorgeous courtyard, and a great rooftop hangout space. Step out the door literally into a market. Breakfast is included—even though the app said it wasn’t. Affordable too and lots of small touches. These folks clearly care about design, and hospitality.

Nice hotel but not made for sleeping and relaxing. It is imposible tô sleep because of the intense noise all night long and starting very early in the morning. Forget the traffic outside, the noise from the court yard is the absolute killer. I am writing this at 6am and it feels like people are sitting with me in the room screaming. How this hotel has a 4.7 rating is beyond me.

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at Grana several times — from a large group to solo — and the experience has never been anything less than excellent. Its beautiful, central, sparkling clean, so comfy, with an amazing breakfast and your every need is considered and cared for. The service is above and beyond and somehow every time I return the amenities have expanded and the overall stay enhanced. My favorite hotel in Oaxaca, home away from home! Gracias equipo Grana!

We enjoyed a perfect experience at Grana, thanks to the professional, courteous and attentive staff, Yana, Bruno, and Omar. The abundant breakfast, spacious, comfortable and quiet room and the pleasurable rooftop evening cocktails were a pleasure to enjoy.

Everything at Grana is aesthetically pleasing. The plants, the courtyard, the traditional architecture and decor. The service is impeccable. The staff are attentive, kind, and will assist in any way they can. They keep the rooms clean and organized. The breakfast is generous with a daily local special, eggs, toast, various sweet breads, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, coffee, tea, orange juice, and hot chocolate. There is always someone on staff that speaks English. I felt safe and well taken care of during our stay. And the location is ideal — most of downtown is in walking distance. Definitely recommend!

Very disappointing hotel. I had a terrible experience, as they charged and reserved a room without my authorization. A month later, I noticed they tried to charge my card again without my permission. Please, if you are thinking of booking here, be very careful when providing your card details, because this place is not safe. At first, everything seems nice, the staff will speak kindly, and the service looks good but when it comes to your credit card, you may be charged for payments you never authorized.

This was our first trip to Oaxaca, and we found Grana B&B through our own research. What a find. They are right in the center of Centro, within walking distance to dozens of exceptional restaurants, museums, craft stores, markets, street food, and many historic sites and churches. Our room was on the 2nd floor with a balcony on two sides, giving us a view of the street activity below. The room was large and comfortable with a very comfortable King-sized bed. If we were ever unsure of where we would spend the day or have dinner, the friendly and well-informed staff was always there to help with suggestions or to assist in making arrangements. Thanks to their advice, we discovered several restaurants that we would have otherwise missed. The Breakfast part of this "Bed and Breakfast" is unbelievable. Beyond the normal assortments of coffee, espresso, fresh squeezed juice, every morning also offered fresh pastries, bowls of fresh fruits too many to mention here, and choices of eggs, avocado toast, juevos rancheros, chilaquiles, tamales and … well, you'll just have to go to experience the variety and quality yourself. The rooftop deck was a great option for pre-dinner for a cocktail and view of the surrounding mountains, but the thing about Grana B&B that was singularly exceptional for us was their staff. The room was tended to as you might expect at a five-star hotel, with nightly turn-downs and quiet, unintrusive cleaning and service.

Absolute gem. I have stayed in several boutique hotels in Oaxaca over the last decade, and this one is definitely my favorite. The location, the attention to details, the plants, the design, the food, and the hospitality are all incredible.

For us the best place we have stayed in Oaxaca. Full of details. The personal is so welcoming. Breakfast was on point. Even tough it very centric the resting is very deep! Can wait to come back! N and R.

Grana is simply wonderful. From the attentive staff, to the decor, to the delicious breakfasts, to the rooftop cocktails. This is Oaxaca Centro as it is supposed to be experienced. Historic architecture with modern flourishes. Beautiful plants everywhere. We will definitely be back ❤️

This place is perfect. Food 10/10. Rooms — gorgeous. Hotel staff — quite literally the best service I’ve ever encountered. They made brown bag lunches for my sister and I before we flew out early in the AM because they knew we wouldn’t have time to get any food. Do yourself a favor and book the reservation.
