Personally we were not satisfied. It lacks a lot given the 5-star category. The hotel is divided into 2. One part is for owners and one for guests and it is very uncomfortable to deal with it. The service of most of the staff is unempathetic. It was a family trip and only on 1 occasion we were able to share the table. (I thank the restaurant for the patio, which made it possible) since they said that this is how they arranged their tables and almost if you wanted. Captain Gabriela offers excellent service. Captain America very bad customer service.
Very rich food always. The facilities and the pool lack more hygiene. On several occasions I noticed them very dirty.
As for the lounge chairs and palapas on the beach, they are extremely neglected.
The children's area was closed, due to the owners not agreeing.
There were always dirty dishes outside the room.
It needs to improve a lot to have the category of 5 stars …!

One word: Carlos! Seriously a great place with amazing people and delicious food. Beautiful property. My wedding couldn’t have been better.

We had a wonderful Anniversary trip! They paid a lot of attention to detail and greeted us with a nice sign on the door. Marcos and Usvaldo went out of their way to prepare a nice dinner for us. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The pools and grounds are kept very clean as well. Good entertainment at night too. We would stay here again and recommend this hotel!

The food is disgusting. Mystery meat. The room service staff is friendly but limited selection and what you get is almost inedible. Our first room the jacuzzi didn’t work. Our safe was broken. We asked for a different room and had no hot water in the second room and the AC was broke. Definitely do not stay here if you want the full inclusive experience.
Had the best time outside the resort at local restaurants and excursions. Will visit PV again just won’t stay here ever again.

Food was horrible! We stayed one night and left the next to an Airbnb. A waste of money! How do you mess up a quesadilla? I don’t understand it was like cottage cheese 😑 service wasn’t too great either. Spend your money some where else! My friend got a room with 1 king size bed and she got a room with 1 queen size and they did not refund they said later on if something with a king size bed would open up they can switch rooms. Also their alcohol beverages are really diluted.

A few months ago I visited this hotel and I loved it! 🤩 the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very nice and the jacuzzi is small but very comfortable and relaxing, I enjoyed my stay in my room, because it was in perfect condition, with room service where the bed was made, the room was cleaned and the bathroom, there were extra towels, extra hangers, minibar with many drinks and 24-hour room service, the food is delicious, in addition, to the excellent attention of the staff, it is a beautiful hotel to vacation! 🐚🌊🌺

Our stay at Dreams Villamagna was remarkable in so many ways. The staff was so pleasant and genuinely helpful. We are vegetarians and the resort manager along with executive chef and their staff surprised us with outstanding meals everyday. A special thanks to the Portofino staff — Jonathan and Martin went out of their way and wowed us. Kudos to Jonathan, Martin, Jose Vizcorra, Martin, Arturo, Mascros and Farnanda. Definitely recommend it. Five stars for sure! 😀

I had the best time at this resort! Everyone was so kind, helpful and very hospitable! I would definitely recommend this to anyone that visits Puerto Vallarta! I enjoyed meeting Adrian, Victor, Eva, Tere, Ketzl, Angel and Nestor! I especially loved my massage! Best EVER! ❤️

Can’t say thank you enough! Your staff was amazing and extremely friendly! Rooms were large and always clean. Concierge staff was an top of everything! Angle always greeted us with a smile. Even when my girls needed medical attention. Bar staff always had smiles and remembered our names and drink orders. Pool was a little chilly, and food choices were limited. We understand with Covid you can’t be fully up and running. We look forward to spending Christmas again in 2021.

It is so sad that I have to say yes or not to whether I would recommend this hotel Facilities, view from our room and service are excellent however the food is just well below minimum expectations.
I would give an overall 3 out of 10 to the food. Definitely so much that they can improve on, you can think of eating at a cheap buffet or cheap restaurant chain and it might be better. The service, room, cleanliness were great. When we arrived 11/8/20 there were no face masks required but they were doing sanitizer and temperature checks at all public places. After a couple of days they implemented face masks.
I felt very safe as they cleaned all comun areas constantly and sanitized everything daily I give them a 10 out of 10 for safety regards Covid.

Smiles all round, greeted with refreshing juices and drinks on arrival and concierge service to the room. Food was amazing and facilities spotless. 100% recommend it to anybody who is looking for a trip to Mexico. My favourite hotel Ever!

We just returned home after a week stay at Dreams Villamagna Nuevo Vallarta resort. The resort and staff are so amazing and wonderful. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff. They are all so kind, gracious, welcoming, so friendly and accommodating. Hector, the concierge, Gerardo, the bartender, Leo, the bartender, the entire entertainment team-Marina, Julia, Alberto, Michell, Alex and Nestor are absolutely amazing. So fun and enthusiastic. The rooms are very spacious and beautiful and the entire resort is immaculate, very clean. There is a nice selection of restaurants to choose from and reservations are never needed. We’re very impressed with every aspect of the Dreams resort and highly recommend it.

This is our 7th year here and are treated very well. Love the staff here.

Love the whole place. Staff is wonderful, amenities are perfect. Not to mention all inclusive drinks and food. They have guys that bring you your drinks on the beach.

My family and I were staying 4 wonderful days, the truth is that we all slept great; all the staff extremely friendly and the food is excellent! Definitely return!

Just got home today. It’s a great resort if you’re looking to relax in a quiet atmosphere. I mean quiet. The resort is beautiful, rooms are nice and spacious, the food and drinks were good. There really is very minimal entertainment and no real music around the pool. If you are OK going to bed by 11 then this is the place for you. They don’t tell you that they follow so many rules because of the condos, no noise after 10 etc. The actual resort is small all the other buildings are condos. It does have a very nice beach. Having said all of that, I personally will not return to this resort. I have stayed at many Dream resorts and if this place would just do something about entertainment it has so much potential. Beautiful swing bar close to the beach is closed by 6:30pm. Roof top bar is the only one open past 11 and it’s a sushi bar with very mellow instrumental music.

This is simply a yes because of some of the staff. Firstly world cafe really friendly staff thank you Martin, Carlos Jonathan and big thank you to yadira homee and Gabriela you made such an effort with my daughter Antoina encouraging her to learn some Spanish. Albani our waiter at the pool so friendly and happy and constantly there bringing us drinks thank you. The bellboys Carlos and Miguel. Carlos spoke perfect English and again always smiling. Saved the best to last the entertainment team Alex, Jesus, Jose and juila. Such a happy hard working team you made a not so good holiday much happier. Big thank you to Alex you are a little star. You encouraged us to join in with games and we loved playing cards with you around the pool. You made an effort every day and your such a positive hard working person I really hope the management appreciate you. Me Karl and Antoina will miss you loads.

Myself and my daughter arrived home yesterday after a fabulous week at this hotel, I definitely recommend it. The hotel staff were wonderful and friendly, especially our pool waiter Julio, he went above and beyond to make sure we were never without a drink and gave us good recommendations of new cocktails to try.

We had the best experience with Dreams Villamagna Nuevo Vallarta. Rosa Alvarado was the sweetest and kindest concierge. She was so thoughtful and helpful! All of the staff were welcoming and always had a smile. Can’t wait for our next trip back!

Warm ocean waters, inviting pools with friendly poolside service. The food is very good and authentic Mexican cuisine. The sushi bar is top notch! A must try! Ok, we just ate at Portofino! It is the best lamb I've ever eaten! And I've had a lot of lamb!

Beautiful grounds, lovely pools, ala carte restaurants great, our fave being Oceana! staff very friendly and couldn't do more for you. Always told 'your welcome' or 'my pleasure' when thanking them. Always felt safe whilst in Mexico too. Would definitely return.

A wonderful place to relax. Staff are so friendly and welcoming! The beach is beautiful with gold flecks through the sand and you can walk forever. Seafood is delish … spa is great and alarmist all rooms have ocean views with tubs in the balconies. The upgrade to Preferred was worth it … coffee, tea as well as food and champagne available at all times on your floor with a concierge.

Everything about this place was excellent. The food, cleanliness and customer service was amazing! The entertainment team went out of their way to plan and engage us in activities! It was like I formed a mini family there as they all were so friendly and kind towards me! Ernesto always had a smile on his face, and taught us some spanish! He gave me and my friends bracelets and a very sweet ladybug! Jonathan was amazing when he hosted the tequilla tasting and he even taught us how to play poker! He was super entertaining and became just like our buddy! Xiomara (malu) was really sweet and was encouraging us during water aerobics and dancing! She would greet me with a hug everytime she saw me! She was there at karaoke as well! Ricardo was really sweet when he hosted bingo and was there during the crazy game! They all were so lovely and welcoming and super funny! Mateo was super helpful in helping us navigate around the hotel and had a great sense of humor! My trip was only made memorable because of them, and I would specifically go back to this hotel only for them! At the restaurants, the ladies making the omelettes and the servers were super nice to us! And Nora in the spa was absolutely amazing at her massage that she gave me! Overall the entertainment team is what makes this hotel, and I would want to see them again whenever I come back! They made us feel like home and our super amazing! I miss you guys and thank you so much Ernesto, Jonathan, Xiomara, Ricardo!

If you ever go to Mexico stay here, it has everything you need and more. Staff are amazing they will do there best to help you out with what ever you need. The hotel is good for all from couples that want to get some rest as well as kids that want to play. This was one of the best holidays I've ever had. This place is absolutely beautiful. It was my first time to Mexico and I will be going back and staying in this hotel. Go go go you will not regret it.

Where do I begin, Firstly the staff, they are the nicest most considerate people we have met. They all have smiles on there faces 24/7. The service was probably the highlight of our trip. If I was to name everyone who went out of there way we would be here for hours. The food was amazing, certain items were not to my liking but that is personal taste but overall the food was excellent! Location is great, right by the beach and fantastic pool area. The rooms are very nice and spacious. We found a little bit of sand in the room the first day but after informing them they cleaned it right away and apologized! Overall great experiance would highly recommended and will be back, do not let a few negative reviews turn you away from this amazing resort!

Came here last minute, very pleased with the whole experience. Read reviews before coming and expected bad food. I found the food to be very good with excellent service throughout the resort. My only complaint would be the music at the only after hours bar which served sushi. (The sushi being my least favorite food here. ) The beach was perfect and the drinks never stopped. Will definitely be back.

We stayed in the Junior Ocean View suite for 9 nights and had one of the best vacations yet. The weather was nice and hot, and the service, beach and pools were outstanding. Additionally, having been to at least 5 other resorts in Mexico, I could confidently say that the food and service at this resort was better than any other resort I have stayed in. In particular, Jose, Hector, Martin, Alex, Diana and Enrique at the Resturante Portofino provided my family and I with some of the best experiences of our trip. The team's service exceeded our expectations with a private room, tasteful bottle of wine, and fantastic 5 course meal. They were all hardworking, caring and worked extremely well together. It was as if we were treated like royalty. Oscar from the buffet also met our every request at the highest level of service. He is skilled at running tables and we made sure to have him as our server each time. I can say without a doubt that there is nothing for me to complain about in regards to our stay. We would definitely go the Deams Villamagna again, and I truly hope to have another dinner arranged by Jose, Hector, Martin, Alex, Diana and Enrique.

Where do I start…
We were suppose to get upgraded to the ocean view since were timeshare owners it they only upgraded us to a partial ocean view (swimming pool view).
All inclusive in this “resort” does NOT include good tequila like Heradura or Don Julio which are my favorite, but they offered to sell it to us though.
If your dining at the the Italian restaurant MEN must wear pants or the rude check in hostess will tell you to read the rules and then say you cannot come in. Crazy I know!
This hotel also have us a really hard time when we ordered extra avocado from the oceana restaurant, again all inclusive at its finest! Kidddiii! ng!
Finally, there’s no club at this resort but a bar that closes at 12 and you have three pools. This is not your typical “resort”; it’s more like a condo / hotel that has everything walking distance so not huge at all. Very disappointing but glad to be heading home now. Positive feedback… bartenders and waiters on 9 th floor were very nice and helpful.
Food for Fiesta Mexicana was very delicious.
Kids club was fun for my nieces and nephews.
Housekeeping did a great job cleaning/ tidying up our rooms three-two times a day.

Had an amazing time at this hotel it was wonderful. But came to realize that our maid had stolen 200 dollars from my wallet. Her name is Paola. So if you stay in this resort don’t make the same mistake I did. USE the safe given to you.

We had a wonderful time. Super friendly staff. Food is tasty, fresh and filling. We are already talking about going back. Great amenities for kids like boogie boards, tennis lessons, explorers camp and the kid section at the buffet was cute! It's small, don't expect mega resort things like 10 restaurants. The rooms were clean and spacious and decorated in good taste. The taxi fares are fair and the airport is quite close. We had a great time: family with a 5 yr old and my aunt and uncle (51). Forgot to mention the spa. Couples massage was awesome! Love love love the hydrotherapy pool.

I was given room with tropical view according to and was view to the road with view and on entering Vista wing super poorly laid out.

More than anything it is a place almost for pure rest since almost not ahy activities if one per day, early and estauy off everything and almost that are hosted pure people of the usa, that yes its facilities are very good and very comfortable the rooms are excellent.

The facilities are beautiful but the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. There is not a theater or a place for shows that by the way the shows are bad. The food and drinks are very equis as well as in their specialty restaurants. The staff does what they can with what they have, missing more waiters in the pool and beach area.
As everywhere, unfortunately they give preference to foreign tourism.
To be a hotel of a certain level and price, the quality of their drinks is very bad, there is no apple soda, other drinks have cost extra.

This resort was awesome. The staff was so helpful and friendly, the food was good, the drinks were good and the service was good. It is right on the beach or it has 3 pools if the ocean is not your thing. The sunset is amazing and they can organize a romantic supper on the beach which we did and it was the highlight of the trip. This was our first trip and we had a lot of questions. One man in particular really watched over us and made sure we had answers to everything, he helped us so much. Thanks Julio Jose, your kindness will never be forgotten! I HIGHLY recommend this resort. We will definitely be back!

The only good things I can say about this resort is that the rooms are larger than most regular hotel rooms and some of the waiters at the restaurants and pool were very nice and accommodating. HOWEVER, the food is terrible, not a lot of options. Their buffet is so small, and the food options were minimal. During lunch time, which is 12noon for most individuals, there is only 1 place to get food. And one of those days that was even closed for inspection. So we had a 8 people in our group including 4 kids that were "Hangry". The nightly entertainment was not at all interesting. I'm pretty disappointed at this Dreams resort. I've stayed at a Dreams in Riviera Maya once and it was 10x better than this one. It needs a lot of work. Stay somewhere else, especially if you have children. Oh, and half of the resort shared access to condo owners, so the snack bar that was situated by one of the pools was not included. And it would have been very convenient while swimming by the pool. But we had to pay for anything purchased there so we just stayed away. Our best meal, was 1.5 miles outside of the resort at a cute restaurant. Very disappointing.

We arrived on April 6th and leave on the 13th. So far this resort has been amazing. The staff are great, the food has been awesome and the over all feeling is we definitely will come back. Not once have we felt like we received any less than great service. Really loved our stay here! Thank you so much!

This is my first time in Mexico, but I must say, this resort is amazing! The food is great and the portion sizes are reasonable. Since it's all-inclusive, you can always order another dish if you're still hungry, instead of waiting half of a monsterous American serving. Each room has a huge bathtub, a separate shower, and a Jacuzzi on the balcony!

Dreams Nuevo Vallarta is an all inclusive hotel which usually means it is tough to give it 5 stars. Based on our stay I would give it somewhere around a 3 or 4 but the customer service from Javier the property food manager was over the top so I have added 2 stars just because of him. We had a big group of high school seniors and their parents and he made sure that whichever restaurant we were at that we were taken care of. And his staff were all just as committed to Javier’s customer focus.

What a dump. This place was the most unclean, uninspiring "all-inclusive" I've ever been to. I'm trying to find something kinds to say about it so I'll say that the beach is nice. BUT, you cannot get food served on the beach. Or coffee — — why? Because the servers for this "all-inclusive" will not get coffee from the cafe for you. You cannot even get food served at the pool! I'm no 20 year old, but this entire place is crawling with retired folks, their rollie carts, and their paper back books hushing everyone else. There are 4 times as many condo residents as there are hotel residents and they share everything with the hotel — — pool, beach, restaurants, etc. I think this is where the 70 years old come from. Anyway, life is too short to stay here… check out the sad photos I posted.

The resort was gorgeous, food was horrible. I got sick from it, in my room 90 percent of the time. Waiter Julio was THE BEST! I had a fan blade go flying off and hit me in the back of the neck. I think I should of been compensated for this! I came home and still sick. I do not drink so it was clearly from the bad food and 3 others in our group were sick as well. I also had someone walk right in my room while I was showering and one of the housekeepers walked in un announced as well. Did not feel safe, was scared to death. No one should be walking in the room un announced!.

Fantastic service, fantastic location, not busy or over crowded at all. Facilities are showing their age, but staff does a tremendous job on upkeep. Location does share resort with timeshare properties, pool area can be crowded, noise can be a concern to timeshare rentals (we were scolded on more than one occasion for noise), no drinks allowed in pool which we thought was weird, only resort to have such a policy.

My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights in mid-February. Our room on the 6th floor was very nice and the view over the bay was fabulous. We did have to pay a bit, a reasonable fee, to upgrade to that room instead of a "tropical view" room. That view of the mountains wouldn't have been horrible, but between the mountains and the resort was a lot going on including a number of smaller fires burning every single day. The elevators were nice and speedy which totally counts with 9 floors to service. The staff was great! Particularly a bellman named Felix who had to have a 'chat' with one of our cab drivers and remind him not to try to fleece the tourists — we got a refund thanks to him. We didn't love the food in the World Cafe buffet restaurant, but all the ala cart places were great. Loved having one even available for lunch! We didn't love that the resort shares it's property with a large private condo development. Residents can't use the services without paying, but it means there are way more people around than the 250-some room count would suggest. Overall, a very nice stay!

Dreams is a very complete hotel. The level of service they handle is of great quality and feels like a good atmosphere. Everybody greets you. Very well maintained areas and food are good too. The rooms have good view and have good standards.

My husband and I have had a wonderful time! The staff here is phenomenal. Pampered and cared for like royalty. Entertainment every night, and always lots to do during the day. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great vacation place!

It is a beautiful place of condominiums and hotel where you can enjoy the most of the place, where the Relaj is 100% where the guest participates in the release of the turtles that there in their beach area are born by hundreds of them and are returned to the sea.

WONDERFUL TIME! My cousin got married at this place. The ENTIRE staff was BEYOND EXCELLENT! Loved the views, the sunsets, the EVERYTHING! The food could have been better. The room service was better than most of the restaurant food. Other than that, Can't wait to go back!

It is a place that has excellent facilities has bar restaurant pool parking has workers who will keep you entertained all day with the different activities that are performed every day you can also take a walk through the Beach as it has an exit to the sea and above all an excellent and panoramic view of the sunset that certainly gives a very beautiful touch.

Breakfast restaurant the staff are all great and the staff at the beach bar make this holiday and not forgetting 7 minutes. The hotel is not to bad either. Had another amazing vacay at Villamagna. Halloween was a blast. Looking forward to another 2 weeks, starting on April 9 to celebrate our anniversary as we were married there on April 19 2012. I remember my first vacation to this resort. It had just opened a couple months before and I, being a single Mom of 5 had never traveled and did not know what to expect. Brought my youngest child who was 14 at the time. We were amazed! My daughter was treated like a princess and myself a queen. Well, being inexperienced in first class service, I was in the buffet on my first morning. I grabbed a plate and began to load up my food. All of a sudden, a waiter came and was trying to take my plate away from me! Of course me, being me, played tug of war for the plate until I finally understood that the waiter was wanting to hold my plate and walk through the buffet with me while I picked the food I liked. So sweet! The service in this resort is better than any resort I have been, Sorry so long but I just felt like sharing. Poor waiter… must have thought I was loco. Lol.

Both the beach the pool area are nice, although in high season getting a cot is a bit difficult. The bar service and restaurant is excellent, and they have some recreational activities on site. I recommend it a lot.

Staff is excellent and resort is very clean. No sun around the pool areas until after 10:00. Buffet is the smallest we've ever seen at any local resorts. Just seems they cater more to Condo residents than the hotel guests. Quiet time around resort at 10pm. Would be nice for guests that don't like the night life.

It is a very nice hotel with very large rooms and private jacuzzis, the pools are huge although only one of them is air-conditioned. The beach is beautiful, very spacious and without a single stone. As far as the food is distinguished the Italian restaurant for its quality. And here we start with the negative: The buffet food leaves a lot to be desired in terms of variety and quality, especially at dinner. We never had Wi-Fi in the room and as it were holidays there were no technicians to attend to, in the public areas the Wi-Fi ran intermittently and yet "unlimited connectivity" is something they presume. The air conditioner in the room just made noise and didn't cool down, good thing it wasn't hot. The TV was a very old model and had to be turned on and off twice to be seen. The beds on the beach are insufficient and if you do not get up early. As for the good evening dinner even though they were very careful with the Christmas ornaments (even a live burrito was at birth), the event lacked warmth and Christmas atmosphere; The food was very varied and very rich but we were formed in the buffet starting with the meats and ending with the salads, ie in the opposite direction. In general, the event was absent organization. Less bad was already included in the cost of the accommodation. In cost-benefit ratio, I give you 3 of 5 points.

Very good service, the beach is excellent: clean and stone-free, ideal for children. Nice and spacious rooms. The food in the restaurant very good. The prices are not so cheap but they are worth it.

Had our destination wedding here. Easy carefree experience. We are still talking about how great it was years afterwards. Would definatly recommend it to other couples. Our families loved it and some have returned to vacation here.

All inclusive Hotel of very good standard. It does not have 5 stars because I got late check out and at the mere hour I was not respected.

The resort is beautiful. Clean, gorgeous grounds, and the rooms were really nice. The jacuzzi on our patio was extra special. But the food. Good God, the food. Find a way to pack some MREs or something because there are few edible things at this resort. The main buffet and the Italian place served seriously bad food. Inedible. It was disappointing for this to take so much away from a great place. I would stay at this company's properties again (service was perfect) but not this location.

Beach is close and real nice location. Rooms are clean and modern. Restaurant options are limited and help, assistance can take time compared to some other resorts. Pools were clean. Could have had more family oriented activities.

If you're looking for a sleepy resort with staff that are mostly indifferent… This is a great place. The swim up bar is a sixty foot walk from the pool (not swim up at all), the only bar in the resort that's open at night plays Japanese zen spa music and has mega bright LED lighting with staff that couldn't bother to serve you drinks most of the time. The a la carte restaurants don't serve kids, so if you have kids you can only eat in the buffet or one other outdoor restaurant. If you don't pay $500 to upgrade your room, you will most likely be listening to traffic and equipment anytime you open your patio door, because half the resort isn't ocean view and if it isn't, you get to face a busy road and their heavy duty fans that run 24/7 and are super loud. Half of the resort is a condo complex, and because of the strata rules, the pools close right after dinner and there are no drinks allowed within two feet of the pool. Every time we decided to take a few of our drinks out to the beach after dark since there was absolutely no night life at the resort, we were harassed repeatedly by the security staff and made to feel like criminals. I will compliment the entertainment staff for how amazing they were with our teenagers, keeping then busy and having fun almost all of the time we were there.

Excellent service and facilities, ample pools, large and woody spaces. Located in a beautiful and exclusive area of Riviera Nayarit, 20 minutes from Puerto Vallarta. A quiet and familiar place, ideal to relax and enjoy the sea, the sun and an all-inclusive atmosphere. The staff were very helpful. Recommended at 100%

Food was not very impressive, that's putting it nicely. The room was ok, staff was very friendly. If everything was the same with resort but food was better, would have given more stars. Imagine eating the equivalent if a crappy Denny's, but with less choices.

The staff is super friendly and tries to be helpful. There are a few minor mistakes with the information available online, in the app, and with what employees will say. A nice place to stay though.

I dont usually rate a resorts even if I had a few bad experiences but this one is awful Dont waist your money rude staff stayed for 2 weeks I asked for the managers none showed up. Definitely bot a 5star hotel. Side buildings are privately owned dont get fooled by the pictures very small resort. They where out of fried fish for 7 days. Italian restaurant took over an hr everytime we ordered so we stopped going eventhough the restaurant isnt even half full.

Rood managers. Dont get fooled by the pictures if you want a 5 star try Rio next door. Food took over an hr every day to get served. 1 Elevator because they decided to shut off the other not enough people on the resort slow season we waited 5-10 mnts everytime for it Oceana restaurant was out of fried fish everytime. Volleyballs had to be returned every hr to their stations. They wouldnt let anyone from the outside through the gates to pick us up we had to walk down. Staff is very rude. Food isnt that good its definitely not a 5 star. Dont waist your money because you will regret it I dont usually rate a resorts even if I had a few bad experiences but this one is awful.

The worst experience of my life, this so called 5 star hotel is the worst all inclusive 5 star hotel in all America. We're literally 60 people plus in the hotel asking for the GM to expresss our endless concerns and the GM is hiding and wouldn't meet us for 5minutes of his time, nowhere to be found. Very bad leadership, and even worse service and facilities.

I enjoyed myself, close to the beach, the rooms are nice, the staff is amazing, Xavier is one of the event staff members and he escorted some of my group out to a club of my choice the night before my wedding and I had a ball! The food and mixed drinks could be better but overall my wedding was amazing even with the rain, the staff in the spa did a great job on my makeup and hair. I love this place.

Although the rooms were a bit tired. All the staff were exceptional. The Thompson rep in the hotel was absolutely first class. The pool consiage "Israel" was a true gentleman and deffinatly the resort's biggest asset. Nothing was any trouble for him and he has left a positive and lasting impression on my wife and i. Breakfast staff were also very accommodating Jesus Issac and door reception girls. (after a few days they knew our room number). Beach bar staff were also first class. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a relaxing break. We will certainly be back in the future. A plus for us is that all bars except rooftop bar close by 11 o, clock so very quiet. Overall a brilliant destination.

Our stay at dreams was wonderful. The staff was always very nice and attentive. They went out of their way to make things fun for the guests. The one area which I think they could do improve on is the food.

Hubby and I went for a belated honeymoon at the end of May-early June and we had a great time! We had more of an ocean view and we didn't mind it at all! Our room was kept clean by the maids and left us little treats when we arrived and the night before we left. Loved the bathtub in the room and the hottub on the balcony. We took the bike tour the resort offers for free and that was fun! I painted a piggy bank at the resort also and the staff was helpful. Food and service was good for the most part, although sometimes the wait for the food took a while if you didn't go to the buffet. Sushi bar had a fun atmosphere, but not a ton of options and the quality was fair, but I expected that with an all inclusive price. Pools were kept clean and the staff made us feel really welcome. The only down side was we listened to the presentation about booking a future trip in order to get some discounts and that took about 2 hours and we were told an hour. Spa was AMAZING! We did a couples massage and it was awesome! I used the gym several days while we were there and I thought it was great for a resort gym away from home. We also took the city/tequlia tour and the food at the tequila place was so good and we had fun (all day deal). Overall the trip was very nice and I would recommend it!

World class food, great service, Chefs will personalize any meal for you and your party. Great beaches. Wonderful maids and room service. Friendly and fantastic staff and restautant hostesses. Well managed. Absolutely the best Entertainment and Activities staff. Especially if you have children. They treat children extra special. More to come…

Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta are both beautiful locations. The resort is very nice, and very clean. The beach is very nice. The water is warm and the sand is smooth, but the waves aren't very big so don't plan on surfing. The food is alright. The service in dining locations is poor; except for at the fish place, the staff there is on point. Waiters and waitresses ignore/forget orders regularly. Most of the bartenders are very good.

The service and the facilities in General, well. But in high twmporada in the lobby, there were repairs and the poolside waiters do not take orders, just walk.

Very nice hotel, there is very hot at this time of the year but the pool and snacks as well as the attention of the staff was first. Highly recommended definitely make you feel at home.

I give four stars that in the lounges of the pools, my brother and I were completely ignored by the waiters, never us offered drinks, however people to our side each of which the saw them offered something, the worst was that we are partners in the hotel, but there in was all I seemed very well. The restaurants are very tasty, Oceana and the patio are the best dishes, but Oceana is good à la carte, buffet is not very good. The pools are perfect for everyone and there is a table for Ping Pong and a foosball.

This resort is absolutely amazing. My husband and I are here for our anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better place. Lots of restaurants to choose from, all are delicious. Resort sits right on the beach which is a definite plus. The staff is absolutely amazing. Everyone is so friendly and so attentive. I really just love it here.

Can't beat the resort for the price. Was a perfect getaway for 4 days. Lovely grounds, well maintained pool, comfy bed, beautiful room, good food in all the restaurants. Would go back.

Service and Room quality is great! Loved the experience! Food at sometimes was just bland and other times it was very good!

Wifi was intermittent, slow and only 2 devices were allowed to be connected at once. Food was pretty good but not great. Even the lunch buffet options changed daily so that was nice. Breakfast was the same everyday. The beach is small and the water is very murky. A good value for a small wedding, but there are probably better options for vacation.

The fort of this hotel is their staff, friendly and ready with a smile always, facilities very nice, only it's important to maintain the hot Tubs, and jetted Bathtubs (faucets), outside of that it was a very rewarding experience.

Great hotel made mine and my wife's day with a romantic dinner on the beach and then we came back to the room to find a happy birthday sign and balloons on the door inside cake champagne on ice and the hot tub with bubble bath flowers and candle lights, can't say how old my wife is but will collect her bus pass when we get Staff very friendly can't do enough haven't found a cocktail the barman can't make. Put on a few pounds with the food but there are healthy options but I was here to chill and enjoy myself "aim achieved"

I can not say enough good things about our week long vacation to Dreams Villamagna! My boyfriend and I traveled along with another couple in August and every aspect exceeded our expectations! I can't believe that we read so many bad reviews; I just don't understand! The service was amazing! Betty is the best cocktail waitress we have ever had. Every single restaurant was delicious and provided great service, We had special requests due to a severe food allergy and it was never a problem for any of the staff. We loved Gohan! The sushi was great and the views were amazing, especially at sunset. Definitely tip your servers; they are working hard for you for long hours! The pool and beach area were beautiful. We never had a problem finding a lounge chair by the pool or beach. The pool water was very warm but nonetheless still refreshing. We took advantage of the included rentals and went kayaking in the ocean, so beautiful! Our room was perfect. Comfortable beds and an amazing view of the Sierra Madre mountains and the bay. When we arrived at the resort we requested that if possible we have a room close to the other couple we were traveling with and a higher floor, and the concierge had no problem with our requests. We also asked for more bottled water and everyday they stocked extra for us! We went to dinner at the sister resort NOW and I have to say the four of us were glad we were not staying there.

I went to this hotel because I met the other located in puerto Vallarta. However, it has been the worst travel experience of my life: 1° not respecting the characteristics of the reservation paid in full: they gave us a single bed since I was specified two beds and not just one of the rooms, but of the two that I paid 2° I had to sleep on a sofa bed because the option B that we were offered was a cot with bed hundia. 3° the pillows were boludas 4° the worst thing of all is that the area of the bathroom HAS NO PRIVACY ANY: JUST PARTED A CURTAIN OF CLOTH, BUT ONLY A PART. This enabling communication problems with my siblings that we were not partners, but brothers because we were not comfortable with the designation, which we did. For more than insisted, is solaparon in reception with a "Excuse me you the hotel is full". In reality, it is not my problem, I pay a reservation of a hotel that definitely did not meet my expectations of the trip. And unfortunately I never solved.

The AM string Resort is caracterísa for being cheap diamonds, but this "hotel" called villa fraud. From the entrance to the charge that is passed to the complaints of the guests between the two legs. 1 — you sell the photos as if it was the hotel but what they are actually condos. The hotel is two buildings to the entrance so for nothing, walk of beach. 2. — sells you membership may be as well that your viennese to this hotel keep in mind that you are going to remove from your time are on you, to give them 90min of your time vacation. 3. — There is No place in the parking lot only fit 15 cars, so I parked in the street. 4. — there is a waiting list in some restaurant even though there is only 5 tables occupied. 5 — if you are on plan a romantic olvidenlo 100% family. 6. — you have to eat in an hour if you do not collect your belongings as this in its regulations. 7. — there are not enough umbrellas or lounge chairs to enjoy the beach or the pool. 8. — the chef unfortunately very rude and unprofessional. (if you are going to do a themed night at least make sure you have meat enough to feed all the guests). 9. — the rooms are not as you paint them to be. 10. — the food in some restaurants are good the best service was in the restaurant oceana and the Italian MY COMPLIMENTS TO THE WAITERS AND THE HEAD WAITER in THE OCEANA AND THE ITALIAN were what that means except these horrible vacation. Would not return to this "hotel" even if it was on promotion.

Worst resort ever. You have to dress up to eat dinner everyday even though the restaurants are next to the pool and beach, there is no where to go in swim wear or with covered swim wear. This is not stated on the website. They screwed up 5 out of 11 of our rooms. And we had our wedding completely messed up. Each part had an error and no one carded and would not even let us speak to a hotel/resort mgr! Do not go here there are way better places to go. I spoke with sereral other guests there and they agreed.

My daughter I came over Spring Break to visit your beautiful resort Dreams Villamagna Nuevo Vallarta. We meant to write a review much earlier, we apologize. We had the most wonderful time at Dreams. We still talk about it as if it happened yesterday, The restaurants were all amazing. The food was delicious everywhere we went. It was so fun trying to decide which one to go to. The beach may have been smaller than some, but we never had a problem finding a great spot to relax. We loved boogie boarding and participating in some of the other activities. We even went out on the town one night. We felt safe and watched over by staff. It was so much fun! The rooms were beautiful with an amazing view of the ocean. I loved sitting out there in the evening and watching the beautiful sunsets. This is a very family oriented place, which we loved. Our rooms were spotless and our beds turned down every night. That was a treat.! Our fridge was always freshly stocked with nice, cold beverages. Back to the beds, They were amazingly comfortable. We slept well every night. Your staff handled a couple of situations (with unruly, drunk guests) quite beautifully and very professionally. They did this well and with respect to the man that had too much to drink. They de-escalated the situation quickly. Your staff all the way around were helpful and friendly. We did have a special fave, our friend Lukas! A very nice young man, He could always make us laugh and just make you feel happy about life.
