LOUSY SERVICE, the restaurant's food is not at all worth what it costs!
They take it cold, tasteless, we order drinks after eating and they never took them. And what in the end was the straw that spilled the glass to dare to leave my bad experience. Was that I ordered my bb's takeout and was told they didn't have disposable ones that only had bags? By God, how am I going to take a soup in a bag. And just then at the table next door I noticed that they took her food in disposable to take away! 😡😡😡 NEVER TO RETURN TO THIS PLACE!

Have very clean and what k I get attention is k the girl yesterday L was giving reports about the rooms when I asked reports I ignore I did attention I put attention until k I told k I was going to stay I went and returned is when I already pay attention with all respect I think anyone should give the attention x k we can not despise a client at least that is, my humble opinion because I am Trader.

The hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect and the staff is very friendly. We decided to hold our wedding in the ballroom of the hotel and we were fascinated, both we and our guests with how beautiful they looked around and the attentions of every one, especially Alicia, who supported us in every detail. Great food. Went in for breakfast, and servers are extremely nice. Highly recommend this place. I want to give a great review for our waiters, Pedro Martin Camargo and Andres Contreras. Highly helpful and courteous. I will definitely come back.

Very good hotel. I stayed at it in December 2016. It is in the historic center, with unbeatable location. He wasn't carrying a car, but it wasn't necessary. It is a historic building, so the facilities are somewhat old, but that is not why it is still nice and cozy. The first night I was given a room facing the square, with good view but with quite noisy late and smelly coming out of the bathroom all the time. I asked for room change the next day and was given a less expensive, more spacious and quieter room without bad smells. The food leaves a little to be desired, as does the bar, but it would come back.

Not the best rooms, but works just right if it's going to be a couple of days only. It is located right in the heart of guanajuato. Don't expect to have a nice lovely view from your window, not all rooms have it. Our restroom did not have a lock. I believe no rooms have a/c but is okay because guanajuato has fresh nights and mornings. Hotel has no pool. Food at the restaurant is a 2/5, spend your money somewhere else. Customer service is also not the best, most of the time, the help desk people are on their phones. Cleaning ladies and porters (luggage carriers) are nice. But for me, as long as my things are not stolen and have a nice bed, everything else does not matter. The city itself will opaque every hotel.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of the city. It had a small living room, a very comfy king sized bed, balcony with the prettiest view of Jardin de la Unión and a modern bathroom. Really great location. At night the noise from the people and music playing can be heard but if you close the balcony door it quiets down. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to be in the heart of the gorgeous city.

A wonderful hotel has that rustic touch but the rooms have all the necessary modern comforts the bed was exceptional really provided me rested after the long journey and having own garage is unique in this city.

Excellent location, simple but clean and comfortable room, includes breakfast and parking, both very good. It's good for dinner there, too. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Getting there by car can be confusing, especially if you are guided by Googlemaps, but we called the hotel and they went to rescue us.

Can't beat the location but it's compromise between access to local area and peacefulness at night and in the mornings as it is an area of high activity.

Whenever I visited Guanajuato I was staying at her hotel. No doubt one of the best, good service, bedrooms and unique style will transport you to the colonial era. I recommend it!

It is a very nice hotel in the heart of the city center, its Cologne style is very striking, the rooms are very comfortable and with everything you need for a good stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel has great location, great view from the rooftop terrace. Very good Wi-Fi signal in the room. The service of the restaurant can be very long.

It is nice and clean, has parking and the breakfast that includes is fine in quantity and quality. Friendly staff. It is not air conditioned and the fan of the room is not enough, even when I did not visit in such a hot time, the heat that is locked in the bathroom is unbearable.

My experience is about Posada Santa Fé Restaurant.
I went to lunch last weekend, we were 3 people and we opted for this place.
We're here, we're waiting for a table.
We were given the menu menu at the time and after almost 20 minutes we were taken to the Order, the meal times were all together, nothing at times and shape and to vary the food was super cold and some of the dishes were dirty.
They should be more attentive in those details.

Unbeatable location, rooms that do not give the garden perfect union to not suffer from the noise. Good service and nice breakfast. It's an old and cute hotel. The rooms are not the most modern but they are comfortable, clean and with the necessary.
The best thing is that it has own parking and in the same location. Which is very important if you take auto to Guanajuato.

The place was gorgeous, has a lot of history and the room was enormous by US standards! They provided 4 bottles of water daily plus the beds were super nice and towels very adequate. The hotel staff was helpful but beyond the reception desk, the wait staff weren't so courteous — nobody greeted me with smiles or a "Good morning", even in Spanish. Food at the restaurant wasn't as good. Wifi wasn't very strong in the rooms. Overall though, our stay was comfortable and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job!

It has an excellent location in the garden of the Union, the suites that overlook the garden are a little noisy for all the activity in the garden but nothing serious. The rooms are very spacious, they are very clean, nice, but if you need a little maintenance.
The price is adequate although a detail that seems very rare is that you make your reservation online gives you a total and when you get there you get another price, according to this by the exchange rate of the day although I have never made my reservation in dollars not to have to see.
The service is regular, only noteworthy the service of Miguel that is in area of buttons/parking very pleasant and with excellent attitude.
If you are looking for something central and you can move around this is the right place if you are looking for good service it is not.

The restaurant was pretty good, but there are better deals and experiences to be found just a short walk away. Overall a pretty good experience, the noise from the renovation left a bad impression though, wish we would have known in advance.

A great hotel with good service. The bathroom is a little small, but given that these are historical buildings, there's not much they can do about it. Other than that, one of the best hotels to stay in when visiting Guanajuato. Everything is between 2-10 minutes away!

The location is the best in town. Despite being in the center, it has parking. The rooms are spacious and very clean and nice. The attention is excellent. It's an expensive hotel $1800 the night but it's worth it for the location. The only thing you have to avoid is food. The taste is lousy and it is just as expensive as in the restaurants around. The price includes breakfast but with once you try it you convince yourself to go out and eat elsewhere. I still give 5 stars for the location and attention of the staff.

A beutiful hotel justo un the heart of the City.

I absolutely loved the place. The location is perfect, right in the middle of all attractions. There was music every day in the front of the hotel, in the plaza, but our room was very quiet. The staff was great, very helpful and took care of our needs immediately. Wifi was not the best but who cares! It is such a magical place, just go with the flow do not expect it it to be like your home. Rooms small
and cute. I am so ready to go back!

Friendly and professional staff, good food, good rooms. All around great time.

The only good thing to enjoy is it's location. One must understand that the hotel was built in the 19th century, but it's service had no excuse. The staff seems preoccupied with their own lives instead of serving clients. The rooms even the suites are small, the bathrooms are great for people under 5 ft or very small people, everyone is pretty much screwed. I do hope the service will be fixed as the rooms as well. Good luck.

We arrived at this place for lunch. We sat down and waited twenty minutes with a starving stomach, but the waiter seemed very reluctant to get the order from us. I finally had to physically grab a waiter to order the food! Despite the poor service, they forcefully charged around 15% tips! I wasn't planning to give any tips with regard to their poor service! In terms of the food, it's good amount, but not tasty.

The location is perfect. The hotel was built in 1860 and is very old. If you like charm and something that has "lots of not so perfect amenities"… then this is for you. If noise bothers you then this might not be for you… or let the hotel know because they can move you. The bed was comfortable and the hotel needs some work.
But it has lots of character. We had a great time.

The best hotel in guanajuato! Since 1862, this hotel is in the heart of downtown. The food is delicious and rooms are very beautiful.

Food was okay, but for all tourist who are not from Mexico, please check your bill before you pay. If possible, try your best to avoid this Resturant. Although they seem to be nice, they will scam you and they will charge you a lot more than what it should be. Plenty of other resturants to enjoy within the area. Other than that, enjoy Guanajuato and have a safe trip! *Para todos los turistas que visiten este restaurante, tengan cuidado porque te asen tranza al pagar tu comida.

I loved the service from the staff. The restauramte a little high on the price but very rich everything. The location of this hotel is close to everything.

This hotel I will have to admit has a pretty interesting history. But this hotel when you enter the room it is like you entered a motel. Let me say it again a motel. I stayed in a suite but it felt like a regular hotel room. Even though the suite has a good view of the hotel it was still looked like a really in taken cared of room. I now have to move new hotels. Worst hotel ever.

It gives Me shame to put this comment but the truth of the trunks of this Hotel Posada Santa Fe are a bunch OF CROOKS. We esculcaron the suitcases and took souvenirs that we bought in Guanajuato and shades of makeup. Too bad that these employees to do these things, and to put the hotel in bad view. The hotel itself this nice and clean but the services of the employees was very bad… If they passed the same please write it in the rating of this Hotel for the owner's tale of the employees that has.

The place is very nice, all staff very friendly, the only downside was that the bathrooms give off a smell means ugly, but doesn't take away from the excellence of the place. Highly recommended and would stay without a doubt.

The hotel is located by a main plaza next to Juarez theater, it is a really good spot in Guanajuato. Everything is close. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, the bedrooms were clean and nice. It is a old building so don't expect a new facility, however it is very well maintained. Getting to the parking lot is a bit tricky though, Guanajuatos' streets and tunnels are a bit confusing. However one call to the hotel and the staff was outside waiting for us showing the location of the building.

The hotel has a serious problem: drainage of the bathrooms not working, pipes emit gas methane and worse if you use the shower, once it stops falling water is smell is nauseating, and passes in all quarters. If they don't want to spend the night, asphyxiated by the smell, do not come to this hotel. Ah also is very loud.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with some friends and we really liked. We got the room with the huge balcony and the view at night was amazing. The location of the hotel was great, you could walk everywhere. The rooms were comfy and the hotel itself was ok.

The food is ok, the rooms are comfortables.

10 minutes from the centre of San Miguel de Allende, very good facilities, they have shuttle service to the centre of the city, only on request.

The location is excellent! Very easy to understand and navigate the service is excellent the people are very friendly. Can be improved: air conditioning instead of a fan and improve the breakfast in addition to have more options.

Bad service from the receptionist, the hotel is advertised with valet parking and when you arrive you say you do not have and can not do anything, it is almost impossible to get to the hotel walking with suitcases, there are better options.

No Ac, but it was a very nice room very clean. Liked the location and the view, will stay again.

Excellent location opposite the Jardin Union and a few steps from the Teatro Juarez, staff very friendly. It is a success that has parking, the downside is that they do not guarantee you the place if you decide to take out it your vehicle to walk on it.

Excellent location in the city, is however, did not have internet connection at least from the room in which I stayed. On the other hand, facilities have enough potential to be remodeled a bit. The service is very good and the staff at all times was friendly and warm. A very good alternative within the city centre.

Hotel Posada Santa Fe in Guanajuato (Mexico) is located on the Central square in a 19th century mansion, which previously housed the Embassy. The building is beautiful, the hotel is considered the best in the city. Because stands in the Central square, quite noisy in the rooms, especially at night, until they close the nutrient institutions. From the hotel two steps away the mount, from which a beautiful view of the city. Rooms standard, does not particularly stand out, but on TV only 3 channels. The window from the bathroom goes out into the public corridor, the audibility of the toilet crazy. Very uncomfortable shower, until помоешься — измучаешься. Breakfast on request, served quickly and prepare delicious. However, the guide does not advised at the hotel restaurant for dinner. Across the square opposite the hotel, good restaurant that is very tasty. Service slow. We went with a group and went for dinner, we were told that the return suitcases will be in the room. We had dinner, and there was an excursion around the city, then returned to the hotel. The suitcases were still standing at the reception. Overall the hotel is good.

The room was tiny, and they offer a full not queen bed. No Air conditioning! They charged me 250 pesos extra when they saw I was with another person. They asked me late at night when I was going up with another person if the lady would be staying the night with me. I thought it was very inappropriate to have asked that in front of her as we are going up the stairs. This is a hotel not a house! They had to charge me there on the spot and didn't give me a receipt. I have no problem paying the money, but I thought it wasn't fair since I wasn't receiving anything in return. It wasn't if I was getting a bigger room or a bigger bed. They just charged me for having another person breathing their air. I would reccomend going to Hotel San Diego across the street where my brother stayed, they charge 850 pesos a night, king size bed and a balcony out to the plaza.
