One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been.

If you are taking a diving vacay, excellent place. Rooms are comfortable, the pool is nice. The dive shop, Dive Paradise is fabulous. If you need a dive master, ask for Emilio. He's very professional, friendly, knowledgeable & safety is his priority. The food is not gourmet by any means but there is plenty & it tastes good. You are very close to shopping & restaurants. Any place is a short, inexpensive cab ride. Recommend highly.

Staff was great! The food not so much. The beach and one of the restaurants are across the street. There's a great hammock area overlooking the water.

It is a pretty nice hotel, with many good services, entertainment and good attention, the only thing is that the buffet is not very varied or large and does not have very good seasoning, there are many stairs and the door of the room was broken. How is a hotel with many promotions tends to be full of families. But in the end it's a nice hotel.

We stayed two weeks. An amazing stay. Big room, huge pool and amazing snorkeling right from their property across the street (reachable by tunnel connected to resort or crossing street). Our favorite restaurant was at the beach. Great luncheons with amazing views. We have stayed at Mega resorts but this little gem was wonderful for us. Loved the traditional Mexican food and the staff was superb. Everyone was amazing. Edgar, our waiter, was incredible and so was the chef, Jose Luiz.

Great place to stay and dive. My boyfriend and I stayed here to complete our padi open water. Very easy and relaxed set up. We just had the room with breakfast included which was lovely. Would fully recommend staying here for the diving.

Super tour and more than anything an excellent attention the tour is to keep your mouth open I recommend 100% and we will return for more.

I don't know why they put it like a five star when the service is bad, the rooms OK but as far as cleanliness in rooms and facilities suck, the towels are older than the ones I have at home. The only good thing about the food, but I insist on how lousy toilet.
The staff were very friendly and attentive.
I was invited not to come back and obvious zero recommended.

It is a very quiet, family place with beautiful views, the rooms are very spacious, comfortable and clean. It offers snorkeling service, buffet food and free bar. Highly recommended.

Good place to spend a good weekend. Its menu is rich and varied, the staff is friendly, the pools enough for all the guests of the hotel. The facilities in good condition. It amuses one with its amenities. Congratulations!

The atmosphere and guests are great, but if I wasn't going scuba diving, I would absolutely not stay here. The food, except some items like the homemade grilled dishes that are amazing, are not good and pretty much nothing is fresh. Desserts and drinks are good. The bartenders are friendly and the younger ones will load you up with alcohol. The pool and jacuzzi are great, as well as the schba packages and nighttime activities. Overall, I had a fantastic time with my scuba diving club.

Excellent hotel, the all inclusive package is one of the best and to be a 4 star hotel, you get more than you pay. Excellent option to come with family, activities for children and adults. The buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner is not as extensive as others but definitely very good option, also very central, just a few minutes from the center by car and there is a Chedraui that can be reached walking, the hotel has a cove across the street, is perfect for swimming and/or scuba diving.

All well the only thing I did not like the food very cheap and economical type Fonda lacks more variety and presentation very there are going and to swallow as a feeder of cows.

Great artificial beach on the channel side of the island. Good place for drinks. The lunch buffet is not great. Above all, however, it's best place I've been in Cozumel to scuba dive. Beautiful water and coral formations in the water along the beach. Overall a great experience.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… We visited this property as part of our cruise ship excursion to participate in salsa and margarita making class. The resort has been modernized and has an attractive and large pool area. It was very peaceful when we were there, no screaming kids. I saw some guests ordering at the bar and not paying so perhaps it is an all inclusive resort. They have a large party room with stage for weddings or other events. Easy to access from the downtown area. Very short drive. The salsa class was a lot of fun. We would have enjoyed staying longer if time allowed.

It is a good place, the food is excellent to be an all inclusive hotel, I really liked it very much, the service of the waiters very good. It meets the expectations in relation price quality. I would definitely recommend it.

Terrible hotel. Food is awful. Staff is only friendly if you tip. The beds are terribly hard. It is overpriced for what you get. The pool bottom needs work. The tub is a step up tub, so if you have any joint problems it'll be tough. Our balcony was a pool view. We can barely see the pool. There are better hotels than this here. Trust me!

First and last time. Old Hotel Mmax 2. Five stars.

Food really not good and it's not that one is difficult. The hotel needs maintenance. Decent room at most but no refrigerator in the room so no cold water. Ice Machine on the floor but in our case at the other end of the hotel. In short our first all inclusive in Cozumel after a few years of condo. Finally we'll go back to our old formula.

Good for the money, especially for scuba divers. Great pool for learning or the kids shielded from the main ocean. Friendly staff, food is maybe a 6 or 7, irritated only one choice for salad dressing? Outdated fixtures in the rooms with very dim lighting. The LG air conditioner does work well! Poor pillows, uncomfortable mattresses & outdated showers with fluctuating pressure with step up bath/showers. Internet is terrible and unreliable, I had to use my Verizon hot spot. Pool is beautiful as well as foliage and trees throughout with beautiful vines. Very relaxing with a ocean access across the street where the dive shop is at. Good atmosphere over there for a wedding or special occasion. I Would stay again but only for the scuba access.

Wonderful all inclusive resort with many amenities. The hallways are long and they do not have open circulation so after a cleaning, it's a little strong on detergent odor. Otherwise very clean and very spot on service. Staff is very pleasant. At the flamingo grill our family really appreciated Darwin, and his service and suggestions. He always had a wonderful demeanor and attitude. Overall great experience and we would highly recommend this place.

I don't think you can find anything better for the price. It's not the nicest hotel in Cozumel but it has everything you need and for a honest price. The position is great (you can reach the middle of San Miguel by 5 minutes walking), it has a in-house diving center (Diving Paradise). Very recommended.

Meah. The place isn't horrible. We paid $68 a night and got free breakfast. It's old and not maintained or cleaned very well. You'd see the same piece of paper/trash/used cup in the hall or at the pool for several days. And 99% of the staff is not friendly or helpful. We asked the front desk for change. They didn't have it, we emailed ahead on how to get to the hotel (see attached picture) were told no taxis. There are taxis everywhere. There is NOT a beach. It's a sandy area inside a sea wall. All the negativity aside sitting by the pool and relaxing in 85f weather with a toddler was nice. Maybe byob the drinks are very weak and not very tasty for the price.

The price-product ratio is good and nice, but the hotel lacks a remodeling. I stayed two nights and the maintenance people had to go to my room 4 times, to fix the toilet, the cold water tap of the shower that was stuck, to fix the room phone and finally the door. All very friendly, that if… And my daughters pumped it. The food is not very varied but they have good flavor. I would come back, but my wife doubted it.

Comfortable rooms with tub for one person, has a very close "beach Club" with area for snorkear even for children or people who do not know how to swim, if you need it they lend you the equipment, lifeguard, snorkel; Plus you can borrow bicycles. Recommended place Perhaps the best thing would be more variety in the food that is rich but lack of variety.

Great service. Wifi sucked and was very spotty. I got this on Groupon and can't complain about the price and all-inclusive. The breakfast omelette were good and made fresh. All the other buffet food was a hit or miss. The bar makes your drinks strong.

The hotel itself is very dated. The food was a standard 3 star selection from the buffet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The snorkeling just off shore is what moved this review up to 4 stars. Better than the day trip we took.

Good location slightly away from downtown but still walking distance. Rooms are nice. Hotel layout a little awkward. Huge pool. Good A/C. The provided free internet is ridiculously slow, almost unusable.

Purchased the 7 days 5 nights inclusive diving package. Room was spacious. AC was strong! Buffet was AWFUL! Dinner was the left over from bf and lunch plus may be 1-2 new courses. The chefs cooked almost the same courses though out the 7 days. OMG… I hated to eat chicken after the trip. This "4 stars" resort is just 2-3 stars in America standard. Good for family w kids but not for romance get away. If you like your privacy or quietness this is not your place. 1 mile from Cozumel downtown. Diving package… SUCK! 3 dives a day but the dive masters were lack of passion. They don't said it but you have to tip them privately in order to have a good time. They said let the divers picked the diving location but actually they will ignore your request; even the majority of us agreed the same diving location. 14 dives. 13 of them surfaced at 1100 or 1200 psi. Why? All 3pm dive we're in Paradise reef! We dived here 4 days in a roll but this place don't have reef! They don't listen and careless about the divers. I'll not come back.

Hotel with Grand Hall (break for free Wi-Fi and visit the immense beach of the large swimming pool) deckchairs, buffet, music, relaxation and tanning. For future holidays, yes.

Very good hotel, the staff is very friendly. The private part that overlooks the beach is the best, you can swim very well, especially for snorkelling, the water is super crystal clear.

HORRIBLE! pool super dirty they do not clean it! I was at the balcony of my room in front of pool guy was scraping and cleaning the pool while people were there. I upgrade for a ocean view and I got street view. I complained about it they didn't. Do anything. Food ok no great. I definitely don't recommend this place at all! Please don't come to this place! If you are going to spend your money try to get something better than this pictures on site not close at what this place really looks. Kids club… sucks! You want your child to burn in the sun let them there… please dnt come to cozumel and resort NOT WORTH IT AT ALL!

If you are expecting a Hilton or Ritz, this isn't it. The hotel is clean. The staff is fantastic and cleans everything constantly. They bleach the heck out of everything and are extremely attentive to needs. The bartenders are wonderful, get involved with the guests, and are great to be around. The housekeepers are wonderful with children and take their time each day. Now, this is really a diving resort. It is mostly family friendly. The dive shop is great and I cannot say enough good about all of them. It is a true international experience. The people come from all over the world. Not everyone speaks Spanish or English, but it is well worth the trip. The food isn't the best in the world. It is really hit and miss. The chef does a great job, but sometimes falls short. It is a buffet, and there is always something good to eat, just not everything. If you are looking for a clean, safe place to dive and relax, consider this hotel.

I love Hotel Cozumel! It is such a fun resort. It has a huge pool area with a lot of great activities. The staff members are great. We have been 3 years in a row. The rooms are nice and clean. A great resort on the island. Easy access to the ocean area and the food is good. I would recommend it to anyone. Also recently got married there and their large groups coordinator was amazing. The ceremony was beautiful and well put together.

Really nice hotel — they gave us a welcome drink and check in was pretty easy (though we booked through another website and they didn't realize that we had breakfast included so we had to show them our reservation but that happens at quite a lot of places). there are activities for kids late afternoon which is good if you're going in family but it can be a little noisy if you want to just chill in your room. The pool is really nice and spacious and there's also an outdoor Jacuzzi. The room had pretty much everything you need and the bed was comfy. Great location, only a 2 minute drive from the ferry point from Playa del Carmen and there's parking at the hotel. Also if you want to go downtown it's only a 5 minute drive. over all a very good experience and Cozumel is good fun.

Could I rate it a negative 10, that would be generous. HORRID! It has been a month since my stay and I am still mad as hell. I am trying to get a refund from the agent that sent me to this resort. Do not be swayed by a few good ratings it is a dump of a place. Corners are cut where ever possible. The bed sits on a cement platform, the food is a serious health hazard as are all washroom and shower facilities. Black mold. That is if you are lucky enough to get working shower and toilet. Hated every minute of it and I am not at all picky I assure you but when my health is in jeapordy by managment that allows bar glasses to be washed in standing water from the previous day I wanted to run. Please do not go under any circumstance even if it is offered free. Run. Stay home in the cold where you are safe.

Everyone and everything was fantastic. The Paradise Dive was amazing. If your expecting the Ritz Carlton, looks somewhere else, this place is beautiful friendly amazing well staffed, well maintained. And Charming as you can get. The food is amazing and drinks — well YUM! No they don't cater to people who cant get their kids to eat anything but hotdogs. If you Dive, or just wanna sit by the pool. This my friends is home away from. Who the Hell am I kidding — NO one brings me Mango and Rum at My house. Well go again and again.

It is a place that has it all, whether you are vacationing is a good meeting point and if you only want to spend the day also, attention is very good and the buffet excellent if you don't have many revenue.

This place was great! We did a day pass while we were there with Carnival Cruises. No kids, very low key. The food was amazing and the bartenders were nice and very easy with the drinks. Everyone we talked that was staying there liked it, although we did have one couple tell us to avoid the Sabor hotel and definitely stay at the Aura. I haven't heard from anyone that was at the renovated Sabor, but our stay at the Aura was excellent and I'd definitely go back again! Shout outs to Leonardo and Mauricio at the bar for serving us.

No hassle Wi-Fi, free international calls, hot tub in every room, ocean view, food tastes great, gorgeous hotel, are all among the good. The bad is that they try to lure you into a time share presentation, and the hotel credits don't translate to real dollars. For instance, we got $500 in free hotel dollars, but a 50 min massage is $125, that is probably worth only $30. But. The credits were a bonus.
