We Loved this resort! The food was so fresh and delicious. The service was unparalleled. We can’t recommend the Marquis highly enough!

I was so excited to come here, all the pictures were beautiful. We arrived and the lobby staff was very welcoming and our room was beautiful, but unfortunately we were let down over and over again. The power is shut down daily throughout the entire hotel, with no notice of this. From anywhere from 8:30 am until usually around 3 pm, we had no power in our rooms at all. This also meant no Wifi, no blended drinks, no hot coffee, and the breakfast bar had all the cold food just sitting out and such. They had no explanation for this and every day is was oh it will be right back on or they are fixing something but we were here 6 days and it was the same, every single day… the bar selection is very small. The “premium” bar selection is not that, at all. Very thankful the food was pretty decent, however, the reservations for the good restaurants were hard to get even days in advanced and the selection was the same every day. 2 of the 3 large pools and the 1 of the 2 hot tubs were all freezing, and even though the weather was 80 degrees every day, you couldn’t even go in them they were so cold. This making the one pool packed and you couldn’t get a chair on that side. Over all the resort was beautiful, just in my opinion not even close to the $5000 price tag for 6 days. Just very unfortunate since we had high expectations and it was our honeymoon.

If you want to really experience a luxury Mexican owned and operated resort in Los Cabos, keep your hotel points and spend the pecos on this fabulous resort. Infinity pools on the beach, food that is literally better than most restaurants you pay for, this all inclusive Marquis is a Mexican Gem! The worlds kindest people work here too!

We just returned from a 5 day visit to Marquis Los Cabos, and can’t wait to go back! The resort is beautiful. The staff is attentive and thoughtful. The service is impeccable! We were really impressed with how hard the staff worked to make sure the walkways and stairs were clear and dry from the recent rain. The elevators were out for a couple of days, but taking the stairs helped keep the good food and drink calories at bay. 🤪😉 We enjoyed ourselves immensely!

Woah what an amazing resort! The views are breathtaking, the pool was beyond gorgeous and the staff is absolutely amazing. From Eduardo being one of the best waiters I have ever met in my 43yrs of life to Mitzi for helping surprise my son for his birthday. Our room was always cleaned and kept well during our 5 day stay. We will be back and hopefully sooner then later!

Beautiful beaches that you can’t lay on or swim in. No beach chairs or umbrellas and it’s a red flagged beach… Service is terrible. Servers speak very little English. Takes an hour to get room service to bring up a few drinks — and I tip well (doesn’t help). We stayed 10 nights in a 700 a night room. Staff was very pleasant but that doesn’t make up for extremely bad service. I had stacks of dirty plates piled up in the butler’s door and they’d leave me a note saying “room service missed me” with do not disturb… but the dirty dishes stayed in that door. Also lots of flies in the outdoor restaurants gave me an uneasy feeling they had a good rotten food source. Bathrooms are far from the pools so I assume you’re swimming in piss. You have to use the concierge to make any restaurant or other arrangements but there is one concierge and they are only there 9-5… so, long lines. Housekeeping frequently forgot to add bath towels to the bathroom. Although we don’t come here to watch TV… the TV channel selection is terrible compared to other resorts — and even a hospital I spent time in.

The master sweet with plunge pool is literally heaven. I was worried it would live up to the pictures online but it is 100% as beautiful as pictured. The staff are all super professional and helpful. We don’t want to leave!

My wife and I spent a week here over Christmas 2021. All of our expectations were exceeded. The room was phenomenal with 3x daily towel/room care and turndown service, the infinity pools offered amazing views and a delightful menu, the drinks were in my hand quickly, the daily food options were wonderful, the couples massage was entirely intimate … and the service from the staff was very personalized and absolutely outstanding. I could go on and on. We are looking forward to coming back and making another memory.

We were there over Christmas, amazing views (saw whales every morning), fabulous food, great activities and entertainment. T The staff is helpful and friendly. Not far from downtown Cabo. We are definitely returning in 2022.

A great hotel sells itself and attracts its own customers. No hawkers at the airport attempting to entice you to this property. No discounts, no gimmicks, just plain excellence in the hospitality trade.
The entire place is no smoking, very clean and well cared for. You will feel at home and we’ll pampered. Be prepared for luxury in excess of most people’s expectations.
The staff is well trained and exquisitely polite. Food in the restaurants is above average and here “all-inclusive” means exactly that. Everything is included. Of course spa treatments and the signature
restaurant are extra but with the variety and locations, including your room, endless food and drink is no problem at all.
COVID has made a few restrictions necessary like some of the pools empty, face masks are required for everyone while in public areas. Sanitization is being taken very seriously. In-hotel COVID antibody tests are administered with two-hour results to meet all CDC requirements to return to USA. Be sure your smartphone has a QR code reader so you can view menus. It is your only option.
Occupancy during February 2021 is about 20% so there are no crowds and no waiting.
Views from most rooms are great and many are beyond spectacular.
There are plenty of cut-rate places to stay but the Marquis is that special go all out place you should allow yourself.

My husband and I celebrated our birthdays at this resort. The staff was amazing. The plunge pool suite was incredible! Very spacious room. Enjoyed a five course meal at the resort to celebrate. They made it special for us. Going during the pandemic we were worried and immediately felt relieved arriving at the resort. Everything was clean and all guest/staff wore mask and followed all safety measures. We will definitely return to this resort. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

It was beautiful, great service, attentive staff that made everyone feel special. The view is breathtaking, the food is exquisite and the drinks are bountiful. During this epidemic they went above and beyond. Sanitizing stations everywhere, chairs and tables always disinfected, and even the beach towels were individually wrapped. This was our 2nd trip and we plan to come back again.

My husband and I just had a fabulous 5 Days at this resort. From the moment you arrive, you are treated like a rockstar. Every single staff member we interacted with was so happy, friendly, and took care of whatever we needed.
The food and service at all restaurants was excellent! Our favorite thing was the HUGE bowl of ceviche from Dos Mares restaurant, and you also can order it poolside. Pool service was great! The minute you are taking your last sip of your drink, they arrive with a fresh one. We also enjoyed the 6 course dinner at Cantu, our server was Jorge, and he was the very best! Our favorite events were the Tequila Tasting, and Mexico Night which is such a treat for guests… great entertainment and huge variety buffet great food.
Lastly, the rooms are perfect. Breathtaking views from the balcony. And bonus it was whale season! What a show!

I can see if you've never been to a different all inclusive that you would think this is a great place. I personally have been to much better at a lower cost. The food is ok, but choices are limited. We ended up doing room service the last couple of days because table service was slow and not good. Here, we tipped in hopes of improving service (didn't work) versus other places where we tipped what was already excellent service. Big difference. All inclusive is great here if you drink beer… one bar here and it doesn't open til 3 pm and never ready and stocked until after 5 pm. Also only beer stocked in room, liquor is at extra cost unless you order drink through room service. Limited selection of liquor. Couldn't get a non beer drink by the pool until 11 a. M. Granted, I'm not a big drinker, these were my observations that may help others. We had a master suite with plunge pool which was beautiful and we were thankful to have. Were told pools were heated, they were too cold for our liking. Cabo is beautiful, but this is not the place if you are seeking exceptional service.
