My wife and I had the most wonderful week at Chileno. The service was the best we’ve every experienced and the food and amenities were top notch. We can’t wait to go back next year. Ruben was our excellent client concierge representative who took care of all of our actives, from golf to horseback riding and dinner reservations. Comal is the fabulous restaurant in Chileno — ask for Oscar at the bar he makes the most amazing cocktails.

Staff and employees were very friendly and attentive to everyone. I would definitely return to Chileno Bay Resort.

Absolutely the best customer service in the world. Greeted with personal concierge, Dulce. The spa is amazing. Better than Miravail or Four Seasons. The food is incredible. They greet you with personalized coconuts, a hand mixed mezcal cocktail, waters and amenities. Love this place. I want to come back every year.

Chileno Bay Resort is one of those places where many of the guests are overly privileged and entitled and treat the staff as if they are their personal servants. Honestly, it's embarrassing to watch — — embarrassing, that is, for the ill-behaved Americanos who don't know how to treat people as people, even if their job is to attend to every guests whims. But if you pay attention to what's happening beyond the edge of your own comfort, you'll recognize both a high end resort *and* a staff that excels at being hospitable. That is something more than just providing professional hospitality. Whether it is the 20 minute massages that are amenities to reserving a cabana, or the 11pm room service delivery, or the random staff member greeting you with a cheery "Hola! Como esta? " as you pass each other along the path, the sense is the staff loves doing what they do. With that passion comes quality and personal service. In addition to the service, the food is excellent whether coming from the fine dining venue, Comal, or the walkup bar, TnT. A must is an alhambra, especially late night after a day of imbibing. Fish tacos are a must — — even if everyone says that wherever you go. So to is the al pastor — — whether as a taco or an alhambra. A great perk, too, is that guests at CBR can dine at their sister resort, Esperanza. Definitely take advantage of that.

Amazing hotel with new and contenporary rooms. The resort had immaculate landscaping with great pools overlooking ocean. Staff here has gone above and beyond to make the stay great, everyone is friendly and happy to assist. Have awesome assortment of beach activities like kayaking, paddleboarding and many others. Staff there will also go out into water and provide guidance and tour using equipment. Probably one of nicest places we've ever stayed.

Stayed here 5 days and absolutely loved it. Most beautiful modern room I have where stayed in before. Wife and I loved the outdoor shower and pool. If you are coming here soon ask for room closer to front of resort. Loud construction all day from resort expansion I guess.

The rooms are absolutely gorgeous beautiful Venetian plaster walls fabulous amenities… relaxing and serene! And the restaurant Comal is outstanding… great craft cocktail bar and incredible views! And the best chicken I may have ever enjoyed.
