Amazing resort, can't wait to go back!

One of my best trips was there Everything was exquisite. Food good, Great place with wonderful scenery and people!

Just an absolutely beautiful place. The staff is 5🤩. Cabo is not a tropical environment like Mayan Riviera or any along that coastline but here at the Grand Velas Los Cabos they have thousands of Bougainvillea’s, which happens to be my favorite plant, and they stretch fully across every balcony, every room. BTW, ALL of the rooms face one direction, giving every single one a full beach front view. One of the hotel concierge’s got in touch with me to plan our vacation and schedule our excursions, schedule, our spa desires, reservations for all of our dinners. So when we got here they had it all planned for us And we didn’t have to worry about things booking up. I can tell those looking at GVLC, I don’t plan on going back to the Cancun area all inclusives. This is the one for me!

Our entire family has fell in love with this resort and it’s exceptional staff. Our family required 3 rooms near each other and one connecting because one of our grandchildren is autistic. This reset bent over backwards to ensure our special needs grandchild had the dietary support and culinary staff to provide for a successful stay. Concierge service for our group was about the best we have ever experienced in a resort. When they say Gran Velas Los Covid is “All Inclusive” another term goes along with it — Top Shelf. Food, liquor, service is about the best you will get anywhere. If your family wants, or needs, SPECIAL — this is the best resort to choose. If you have a special needs family member — this is the resort to choose. Every member of our family has indicated that they want to return to this resort next year.

This resort is fantastic. The staff is fantastic and provides exemplary service. The food is delicious and the amenities are top notch. Best of all they are amazing with special needs quests. Stay here if you want a great experience.

Top notch in every way and superior staff…they are endlessly attentive and cheerful. No detail is less than perfect. The pools are stunning with a 1st class view of the ocean just beyond them. The spa blew me away…it literally is a magical experience: serenely appointed and thoughtfully designed for mind body and soul to be nurtured. I don’t want to leave and when I do, I won’t be able to wait long before returning.

AMAZING! Breathtaking views, so many great restaurants on site serving fresh, delicious food, fully stocked in room bar, many fun family activities to take part in each day, the list goes on. You will not regret staying at this gorgeous resort.

This place is everything…. Every suite has its own concierge butler, all food and drink are included, the service is unmatched! It’s beautiful and comfortable, you won’t be sorry that you booked this place!

Our family just returned from a week at the Grand Velas resort and are already talking about a return trip. Everything about the resort deserves a 10+ review. The service is the best and all the staff is so knowledgeable and Accommodating, I Can’t or NO is not in their vocabulary. The variety of restaurants is amazing, and each one is excellent. The buffets for breakfast and lunch have the biggest selections of yummy treats and again amazing service. The taco bar does the most delicious tacos ever and grilled corn. Whether you’re a family or a couple alone unless you absolutely want no children around at all this resort offer something for everyone. We did a painting class and a cooking class that was so fun. There’s a kids club that my 21/2 year old granddaughter loved and teen club for my oldest granddaughter. I was fortunate to have experienced a fabulous relaxing facial in their spa a real treat. I have been fortunate enough to experienced several 5 ⭐️ resorts in Cabo and this one is by far the best overall!

Amenities were amazing but the service is unmatched. Every single staff member was so polite and made us feel very welcomed. They go above and beyond. Veronica at Kids Club actually taught my daughter how to swim! Just checked out today and already looking to book a future trip.

This hotel is an amazing experience! Balcony with beautiful flowers hanging from the balcony above and in planters. They have a beach bag and towel for you. They greeted us with tequila in our rooms for those who love that, there are many pools and chairs to choose from. There are whales and dolphins to view at times from your room, fireworks at night on the beach, a great spa and many excellent restaurants to choose from.

We are here currently with about 6 other people. Which is a guess because we don’t really see other people at all. The staff, which only wait on us at the pool, are attentive and still 100% invested in our trip despite it likely being very boring only helping two people. If you are looking to be spoiled, enjoying amazing food, wonderful drinks, beautiful rooms (grand class suite is stunning! ) and a beautiful views come!

WOW! Where do I begin — this resort is by far one of the best my husband and I have ever stayed at. From arrival to departure, the staff was always accommodating, friendly and ready to please their guests. This trip was a last minute decision and we decided to combine a our more than 5 years late honeymoon and to ring in 2021. They make the necessary precautions. Upon arrival, they take your temp and squirt hand sanitizer on your hands, they then take your luggage and thoroughly sanitize before taking it to your suite. Sanitizing stations for your shoes and hands are available throughout the property, masks and shields were worn by all the staff both indoors and outdoors. Felt safe our entire trip!
We were greeted at the lobby with a bottle of Veuve champagne topped with mango caviar. The property was just as breathtaking as the views. Our Concierge Diane and Adrian were so amazing with everything and anything we needed. They arranged our dinner reservations for the entire stay and mad sure that the excursions we booked were seamless (even though we didn’t book any of them through the hotel. If you want relaxation, time to connect with your spouse, amazing views and exquisite dining experience this is the place! We are already planning to come back in May with some friends!

This is the Best of the Best in Los Cabos in the ALL Included category. I have travelled all over the world including Cabo countless times and this is the place to experience. Great for adults only and for families!

The resort is 5 Star all the way. They wait on you hand and foot. From the moment you step out of your vehicle they’re waiting for you with a cool aromatic towel for you to freshen up with. Then as you proceed to the check in counter they’re already bringing you a cold refreshing drink. A house recipe. Then you’re assigned your own personal concierges or butler who reserves all your dinners (which all of the restaurants there are 5 Star and amazing food) and any activities you want to enjoy. We’ve been 6 times in the last 12 months and booked again to go in 3 weeks.

This has been the best vacation my family and I have been to! The rooms all have ocean view and so huge with a balcony. The food is top notch! Flavors, options and presentation is amazing. My little ones never wanted to leave kids club. The service at the pool was amazing! We can wait to come back! Expensive BUT worth every penny!

We just returned from spending a full week at Grand Velas, and it was without a doubt one of the greatest experiences that we have ever had. The food, the drinks, the service were all phenomenal. Our personal concierge, Alondra, was the sweetest most caring person and never let us go a half a day without making sure we had everything we need… including many special touches of her own (request here if you ever have the chance). The place might seem a little pricey… but I'm telling you that it is worth every penny… and we will be going back… soon.

This is a beautiful resort and the staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. The cherry on top is the quality of the meals at the restaurants. The food is nearly Michelin star quality. I recommend this resort, especially for food oriented people. One clarification, for people considering visiting is the tipping situation. If you are a guest at the resort, then the meals and the tips are already covered. The restaurants are also visited by non-guests. For that reason a bill is provided at the end of each meal. As a guest, you sign it, and a tip is not required. If you were not a resort guest, then you'd tip appropriately. The bringing of the check at the end of the meal is not an effort to squeeze you for a tip. It's just a book keeping necessity due to serving non-resort guests in the restaurants. Grand Velas guys: correct me if I'm wrong.

The good news is the rooms are very nice. Spacious, well appointed, new and clean. The bad news is the service. Staff seemed very inexperienced and there was, at times, language problems if you do not speak Spanish. As an all inclusive the staff made little effort to be accommodating. They were polite but in high end hospitality, you need to know how to make things happen. This is what makes the Four Seasons great. Staff was often time uninformed or confused, even with the simple task of checking in for a dinner reservation. Finally, check your bill closely when you check out. They tried to charge me $300 for a bottle of wine I never had.

By far, the nicest resort we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The rooms are beautiful and well-appointed, the grounds are spectacular but what truly makes the Grand Velas so exceptional is the service. From the moment you are greeted at check-in until the bell-hop shuts the car door as you depart, you are treated like royalty by every single employee you encounter. I have never experienced this level of customer service at any establishment I have ever visited and this fine service is why my family and I will return.

This is a mixed review for me. I loved the property and rooms. Where I really struggled to give a positive review was the lack of consistent service. I paid $1180 per night and felt I had better service at much lower cost resorts. I’m tryjng to figure out if it’s just because they are fairly new that the service was inconsistent but some issues can’t be ignored. A basic breakfast ordered through room service the night before showing up 45 minutes late. Fairly empty lounges that took for ever to get drinks. On the opposite spectrum the spa was amazing. It’s very clean resort. Some of the staff was awesome. Some of the food was amazing. All in all they need to improve on service considerably to justify the price. I can’t say it was terrible but certainly did not meet my expectations.

What an incredible place! Food, service and the resort is just amazing. We had a great time as a family. My daughter loves the kids club and the pool. We will for sure come back again. Once you are here, you don't want to leave!

This place is amazing! Very clean, feels very safe and the food and hospitality and the views could not have better. The whole experience was fantastic and would highly recommend going there. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty.

I was very impressed with the property and the level of service my daughter and I received during our stay this past week. We stayed in the Govenors suite which was beautiful! The drinks were awesome, not watered down like some places. The food was delicious and there was a wonderful variety. Breakfast and lunch had buffet options which were so yummy. Dinner had wonderful Mexican, French, steak and seafood options. They also had an impressive wine list. We will stay at the resort again in the near future.

The staff is very experience, the room is very clean and the rooms are very clean and very comfortable.

What is this? This is all inclusive without more very nice beautiful the impeccable sevice without any error also super attentive to the need of the customer all very attentive the kids Club is a gem for the young children and the Tenns club is the most beautiful of play area for all the young people. The Blue restaurant is very nice not to miss anything is very good to have a good time with your family.

NOTHING disappointed at this beautiful resort. The accommodations, service and attention to detail were outstanding. Quality and presentation of food at each of the restaurants was first class. Long stretch of beach was great for morning and afternoon walks/exercise, and whale watching and spotting were exciting! We'd return in a heartbeat, and are anxious to get more information about their upcoming condo project.

Absolutely stunning experience. We stayed here for 5 days and it was fabulous. The service and food are the best we have had in Cabo. This is our 4th trip to this area, but our first time here. Rooms were beautifully done and very large. All the restaurants were outstanding. It was hard to pick a favorite. The pools were beautiful and the water was nicely heated. We will definitely be going back to this resort. I can't say enough about the service, everyone was awesome. Carlos was amazing, he was specifically assigned to care for our needs. He went above and beyond to take care of us. He even had the bar open 3 hours early so my husband and I could watch the Viking football game. We were the only guest watching the game and one bartender taking care of all our needs. Great Job Carlos! Wish we could have stayed longer, it was hard to go back home to the cold. Thanks for the great experience.

I have been to some nice resorts, but Grand Velas Los Cabos is the BEST resort experience there could be! The rooms and grounds are absolutely gorgeous. The staff was so friendly and helpful. If I every get to Cabo again, I will only stay at Grand Velas!

An excellent option in Cabo. Very recent hotel. Rooms are spacious and well furnished, with nice bathrooms. 3 pools, very nice, plus the beach of course. 5 restaurants, excellent quality and variety of food, plus several bars. Price is all included (ie food and drinks and activities, except spa etc) so great value. Staff and service were very good as well. Kids and teens club. We had a great stay and are already planning to return. Highly recommended.

Grand Velas Los Cabos is a 5-star property that delivers in every way. It is only about 1 year old so everything is like new, and meticulously maintained. The architecture of the building is fantastic, and integrates into the well thought out landscaping which in turn complements the trio of curving infinity pools. The lower one overlooks the beach, making it feel like you are in the ocean! The pools are beautifully tiled with colors that bring the sky and ocean together, and they also have matching hot tubs. What really makes this resort work are the staff, who go through a higher than normal interview process for hiring, with fluency in English a high priority. Everyone we came in contact with were friendly and very attentive, often predicting our needs, from opening doors to providing binoculars to watch the migrating whales. The restaurant staff were all top notch, catering to all our needs and special requests. The food was excellent and served with beautiful presentation. The rooms are classy and beautifully appointed with tile, inlaid carpet and natural wood. The all-inclusive aspect does come at a price, but having unlimited access to the dining, drinks, and room amenities is well worth it. I highly recommend Grand Velas Los Cabos, you won't want to leave!

Stayed with teenage kids over Thanksgiving. Resort was purportedly sold out but everything is empty, like one quarter full at most. Service is top notch and food has been excellent. Best place I've ever stayed, but you pay for it, not cheap.

Grand Velas is one of the most lavish all inclusive properties I have every stayed. The service is outstanding, food exceptional especially with so many restaurant options on site, and the property is so well done to enjoy views and quiet. The spa was one of the best experiences I have ever had, from the attentive unique massage treatment and numerous pools before the treatment.

Grand Velas Los Cabos property is fantastic, service was amazing during our stay last week. Totally blown away by the staff's attention to detail. My 10 month old enjoyed the Kid's club. Totally worth the price.

Excellent Resort with an unbeatable view.

This hotel is wonderful and in a great location. Peace and quiet and food is excellent. Our stay was marked by a lot of surprises; but in particular with the fastidious attention to detail their personnel has. Our concierge Carlos made sure we were taken care of at all times and made his best effort to keep us happy and well taken care of. I recommend Velas for any family vacation. The teen club was especially appealing to my fifteen year old as well as to us grown ups! Tons of activities and Donny from the pool was also wonderful, kept us busy but not too much during our short stay.

Phenomenal — best service EVER! People who are employed could not have been more wonderful — so helpful and happy to do anything for us. The pools and lounge chairs were so great. Our room was gorgeous — great bed, great bathroom — large and luxurious. Great views — all rooms overlook Sea of Cortez. Beautiful spa — great massage! Food — too much to choose from. Loved it all.

Our family of eleven, including children and grandchildren, spent five wonderful days at Grand Velas. There were activities all the grandchildren, ages 2 to 12, and plenty for the adults to do also. The girls spend several relaxing hours in the spa getting massages and facials. And Christian, our personal butler, arranged snorkeling trips for some of our party and a whale watching trip for those with littler children. Andrina in the Kid's Club was marvelous and patient with the younger children. She had lots of activities for them. The food was delicious and the waiters thoughtfully served the grandchildren first so they wouldn't be restless while the rest of us ate. A wonderful experience that we will treasure for many years.

I am always elated when I visit your properties. The level of service is second to none, everyone is sweet and happy, the quality and beauty of every detail that surrounds you is respectful and uplifting, they decor of each restaurant is very sophisticated yet warm and friendly and the food is outstanding. Security is excellent. The landscaping is beautiful. I give kudos to the owners and the staff as all in all every aspect is well thought out to please the guest and this starts in the building process. We had a wonderful 5-Day trip with our family and returned home last night. The staff and service is unreal and the hotel is absolutely breathtaking. Besides a few issues with the service at the restaurants that we already spoke about with the managers, everything else was supreme. I believe these mistakes with the food service are due to the hotel just opening and staff still working out opening kinks. I would definitely come back and recommend this location to friends and family without a doubt. The staff makes you feel as if you are not just a number on the guest list but they really get to know you and your family. The staff does care.

There are so many fabulous things to say about the resort! I don't know where to start. From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed… 5 Star service. We look forward to returning. I am a frequent traveler and Mexico is one of my favorite spots. In the past I have stayed at Esperanza and Hacienda Beach Club and Residences. This place has so much more to offer! It really is a luxury all inclusive. Never thought I would use those words in the same sentence. Do yourself a favor… book right now! You will not be disappointed.

So happy a Grand Velas has opened in Los Cabos! We live in SF, Ca and the pop down is convenient and painless. We've attended all of your resorts, and found this one to be the most contemporary, service valued, and comfortable. It seems the Velas in the Mayan Riviera was slightly more friendly and family oriented, but generally very much in par. Our only complaint was the cost (pretty steep), and the fact that no residencies or time shares available. We would be totally open to buying in. Thanks for a fabulous trip! Regards, Joseph.

We had a remarkable family vacation to Grand Velas! The rooms and service were spectacular — the best I've ever had at an all inclusive. The food was really good, although if I were to give any feedback it would that some of the restaurants could use a little work on the menus. I think they are trying to be too fancy and unique — keeping it simpler would be better. The Kids Club was fantastic for our 7 & 4 year olds — they begged to go and the Spa is top notch. Overall, 5 stars!
