Quality Inn Aguascalientes

It is always a pleasure to stay in this hotel. The staff is friendly and warm always eager to assist you and guide you.
Their breakfast is excellent well balanced from fruits, milk, egg protein, cereals, local fresh bread and the waiters are always re stocking the food and pouring aromatic coffee.
As a suggestion the hotel needs a refresh in their bedrooms particularly the furniture and carpet. Also, the Wi-Fi is spotty.

Older rooms, but well kept. Friendly staff. Parking is on the basement and space is very reduced. Some rooms have a beautiful view of the plaza and cathedral in front, but we got the view of the demolished building behind the hotel. Boo!

It's not a bad hotel and has an excellent position on the 'Plaza de la Patria' and adjacent to the Cathedral. And although an older property, it has a lot of potential. My room was clean, it was quiet, it was easy to obtain the hot water, great towels. However, the hotel suffers from poor management and staff training.
I was there for two nights and a confirmed reservation for a room with a "city view". The room I was assigned (211). The view from the widow was the brick wall of the building next door. After walking about the center of the city for a couple of hours and returning to the room it dawned on me the air condition wasn't working. The bellman was sent to check and, yes, the room should not have been rented (outdoor temp was in the mid-80's).
The bellman took me to a reassigned room (423), which had the feel of a closet. The bed was good, room clean, bathroom good, etc. It was just the "feel" of something more cramped. The view from my window was an airshaft with mechanical equipment. No "city view". I had been traveling that day and was pleased just to have a place to stay. Attempting to log-onto the Wi-Fi, it kept cutting off and there was difficulty getting it back on.
Next day I couldn't get on to the Wi-Fi, but I was going out for the day and I would try later. Maybe I was doing something wrong, I thought. Breakfast was included in my room rate and it was just ok. The waiter was jovial, friendly and accommodating.

Really extraordinary value. A beautiful, modern hotel in the lovely and popular Aguascaliente central plaza. Simply extraordinary. My wife and I stayed here Feb 10 and 11, 2024, and recommend unconditionally. Even had free parking in downtown Aguascaliente!

The location and housekeeping staff are the only reason for the higher score.
Breakfast is terrible, the rooms are dated and so humid the carpets are damp. Definitely not worth the price, no matter how inexpensive you can get it for.
The reviews this place gets are misleading and I am led to believe they are being faked because our 3 week stay turned into 3 nights as we quickly found another hotel to move to.

We just went to the buffet of the hotel, hoping the food is worth the price, but we were just disgusted with all the experience we had. We ordered 2 simple omelettes and they gave it to us all raw, the same thing as the quesadillas. We asked the main chef for a new and better cooked omelette and he just kept up waiting 20 min and gave to us the same thing raw. At the end we told the chef again that our breakfast was raw and he didn’t even care at all and laughed at us. For being a “good and well known” hotel, your employees are disrespectful and not well prepared to be working for a hotel, even more if he’s not capable to do a simple omelette. I will definitely not come back with those types of employees, it’s such a shame.

I booked this hotel for a couple of friends who are world travelers. They normally stay in five star hotels. I was pleased when they told me that they enjoy this hotel more than the five star hotel they had stayed in the week before. They said the beds were very comfortable, bathroom very clean, and hotel food delicious. They were also surprised at the cost being as low as it was. It was a wonderful surprise!
