I accidentally booked the wrong dates due to a confusing Google time selection—it showed a future slot that turned out to be several weeks later than I intended. When I realized the mistake, the system initially indicated I couldn’t cancel without paying the full amount.
I reached out to the hotel directly, explained the situation, and they handled it exactly how great customer service should: quickly, professionally, and with understanding. They made an exception and canceled the booking without any issues.
I won’t be staying this time as prices for my intended dates are significantly higher, but based on this experience alone, I’d absolutely consider coming in the future. That’s how you build trust with customers.

Very clean rooms, comfortable, nice staff. Rooms are equipped with central A/C, but heating didn't work (gets cold during the night). Location is ideal, close to everything! Breakfast is nice (traditional Mexican) but costs significantly more than advertised on Booking.

The hotel is in a great location and filled with lovely employees in all areas including the front desk, housekeeping, valet, and breakfast buffet. Everyone who we encountered was kind and helpful. Our room was a bit tired and worn, but we had very hot water, and it was clean.
I believe the management is in the process of remodeling the rooms (badly needed), so hopefully our next stay will be in one of the updated rooms and more comfortable. The bed pillows should've been replaced years ago honestly.
I highly recommend to bring earplugs as it's very, very noisy near the plaza and the windows are thin. There are also only a couple of high places where the windows can open (slatted, like 1970s), and even when closed, they cannot block out sound.
I hope in a few years this place will be the gem it has the potential to be. They already have the best people — they just need the property to match.
