We stayed in room 515, and it had a great view of the beautiful surrounding church’s and architecture of the city. The hotel provides valet parking but I would not recommend driving unless you are familiar with the streets and are comfortable driving aggressively in traffic with people and other types of vehicles. Street signs are also a bit confusing to find as you are navigating narrow but beautiful streets on the surrounding Centro area. Finding a taxi cab was not an issue and the hotel staff will gladly assist you. The room was very spacious and had what you would expect in a comfortable room; things like a mini fridge, television, a love seat, coffee table and a small safe in the surprisingly large closet. Over all the room was clean and had great big windows with great views. We were also in the fifth floor. The bathroom looks as it had recently been nicely updated with modern fixtures. All the expected amenities like clean towels, toilet paper, and even tissues were provided. The staff were very friendly and polite. The hotel lobby also has a lounge/restaurant that serves a standard continental breakfast with things like coffee and cereal, but there were extras like rice and beans which were pretty good. Of course alcohol was available as well. I would definitely book a few nights at this hotel again, only this time we will try for the highest floor to check out an even better view. The hotel itself is in a great location right in the heart of the city center and in walking distance to a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, and even a mall. COFFEE ALERT: If your day must start with coffee I recommend using the coffee maker in your room or getting some at the hotel lobby lounge before you set off with your plans. The reason is because none of the cafes within walking distance seems to be open before 8:30am-9:00am, or actually whenever the collectively laid back and relaxed attitude of the city eventually got to it. That’s not a complaint, it just took some time to adjust to the slower pace of life that we are not quite familiar with in the US.
