Very pleasant atmosphere, especially considering the difficult times we are all facing with the current pandemic. Extremely clean area! Greeted very warmly upon my entrance and seated almost immediately. Noshee the therapist did such an amazing massage and humble. Will surely come back for more.

Very nice Hotel, spacious rooms, so helpful staff, great service, amazing garden with exotic plants, just excellent food, every day new tasty meals. The beach is beautiful, unfortunately the water is really shallow, not so good for swimming, but there are two large pools with warm water and warm shower nearby. This Hotel is definitely a great choice where you’ll have an amazing sunsets every night drinking a rum cocktail 🍹on the beach 🏝️

We absolutely love this hotel, all the staff are amazing and very accommodating. Facilities are clean and well maintained, the pools are fantastic, especially the adults only and swim up bar. The food from breakfast to all the individual restaurants are spectacular. But what really makes this hotel exceptional is the staff.

Amazing hotel, location and environment with views of a magnificent beach and the reef where dolphins can be seen from the beach in the mornings. Spacious rooms, great food and lots of activities to have fun with incl. Diving, snorkelling, glad bottom boats and paddle boards. Worth a visit!

The spa and treatments are top notch! Warm welcome, therapist (Ingrid) very professional and pleasant, quality service!

My experience at Sofitel Mauritius L’impérial Resort & Spa was Magnifique. I have to say that it ranks amongst the best resorts I have ever visited so far in my life. The whole staff was very cordial and amazing, from porters to receptionists and barmen, everyone would smile at me and immediately make me feel comfortable. The room was luxurious, cosy and well equipped and the service I received was high class. Furthermore, from the comfort of my bed, I could delight in the view I was offered through the balcony, where I could contemplate the sea, the sunset and even Le Morne mountain! I must say that the location of the resort is great and very well thought. The food is another topic worth discussing, feasts which could make you drool just at the sight and scent of it, and the taste lived up to expectations! Going to the bar, I grabbed the cocktails menu and was immediately baffled as to the variety of choices I was presented with, but luckily, the barman ended my struggle and offered me an invention of his, which I must say did not disappoint me at all as I had never tasted such delicacy before. Furthermore, there aren't enough words to describe the lovely paradise-like setting provided by the Flamboyant Pool & Bar, and the pool was heated! In an effort to remove plastic bottles for a more sustainable future, the resort has placed water fountains across the resort. There is without a doubt that I intend to book another stay at Sofitel L’impérial Resort and Spa. 🥰👌👌

Great rooms views gardens amenities. Staff super friendly remember your name after a few hours. Wish we'd have had more time here to full appreciate it. They offer free waterworks non motorised large TV great air con. Just a shame we had nothing in the fridge like pop water or beer.

We made good choice: after 11 days’ hiking in La Reunion, to relaxin in this amazing hotel in Mauritius before heading back to Switzerland. We were warmly welcomed by staffs, extremely professional massage just as we expected, with all comfortable facilities that we feel there is no need to go outside of the hotel “Village”. I can only recommend you to choose this hotel when you come to Mauritius.

This is an amazing place, great amenities, amazing staff and the rooms (we're in a double deluxe) which is stunning, but having looked around if your in a superior with garden view you are not going to be disappointed. The food is varied with theme nights, if you can't find some sort of food you like then nothing will help you. You should explore the real area (and I know some will hate me for this) by bus and see the real culture of this amazing island. But there is nothing not to like about this hotel.

Spent 2 days with my husband and son, amazing experience, very kind and friendly staff, all of them. Ashwin from the boat ride with the dolphins, nawaz from reception, michel for luggage, the cooks, the waiters! keep up the good job! Will come again.

Most of all, my wife and myself enjoyed the warm personal touch given to every detail to make our stay at the hotel beautiful and romantic. The room was large, clean and very comfortable in all ways. At the beachfront Tamassa restaurant we enjoyed the food of the Gods served to us for the romantic and sophisticated dinner on the occasion of St. Valentine’s Day. The staff everywhere, be it at the reception, in the restaurant, at the spa and for room service, were very friendly and ready to help to make every aspect of our stay better, amazing and mesmerizing. The decor was absolutely made with great effort to fit this unique occasion with designs of hearts and love everywhere. Wow!
We will definitely come back for other occasions at this exclusive hotel resort and spa. It’s a gem of a hotel. Cheers!

Good Food, great location Flic Flac, helpful staff, beautiful views from the rooms, quiet place the problem is drinks are too expensive, dequiri drink served in a martini glass is about $10, they need to look into that, otherwise everything else is great.

Beautiful gardens, amazing sun loungers in beautiful settings. Constant attention from all staff if needed. Beaches, clean and again ample beds provided. Good good and lots of choices. Rooms above average.

Room need to be updated and improve, old floor and chairs. Bed mattress is not comfortable. Water on the shower is either hot or cold there is nothing in he middle. Each day the housekeeping is forgetting to replace the bath towels, then I chase them for couple of hours to get me a new one. After that asked the reception help on that. Wi-Fi is poor and weak. Some of the front disk staff are missing the smile. However, the food here is really delicious and good. Dinner is very good and has multiple items to chose of and each night there is a special food cuisine. Breakfast also was good with variety of food but they don’t have fresh jams. Beach is clean and wonderful for swimming and relaxing. Other activities like volleyball, football & tennis are available as well, in addition to the water activities. Gym is nice and clean with beautiful view over the lake.

Nothing compare to a beachcomber. Old style Hotel. Need refreshment. Hotel does not deserve a 5 stars. However. I put 3 stars as it is very well located with a nice beach with confortable armchair.

This place is beautiful. Well placed at the seaside. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Towels are changed twice a day (too much) when they don't forget to give you one. Two small bottles of water are available in the rooms every morning when they do not forget. There is a mimi bar in the rooms. Only small downside in the half-board drinks are not included at dinner. It could be provided at least one bottle of water per person. All the extras of the day are paid (drinks, fruit, tea…)

This hotel has a lot of charm and style. It offers full 5 stars services and the staff is always ready to help you to enjoy your stay. The reception, the rooms, the swimming pool, the bars, the garden, the private beach, it's always perfect. Mauritius island is beautiful and its inhabitants are so welcoming and friendly, it would be a shame not to discover this country.

Very bad experience of a 5 star hotel. Probably due to the circumstances of dysfunction; no water activities in the hotel, you have to go to Hilton, the sofa children's bed dates from I don't know when but sidehead and foot lower than the middle part. Try to get a good night's sleep!
My 12-year-old son doesn't dare go alone to order his morning omelette. He feels a certain hostility on the part of the gentleman who runs the cooking stand every morning.
Otherwise hotel has a very nice pool with a great relaxing area very well maintained. A good place to rest.
I hope the renovation planned for next year would allow for more room comfort.

Fantastic service. Excellent hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay for 4 nights in Sofitel Imperial. In fact the hotel actually made us forget the trouble and issues that we experienced while working with tour operator Seaside.

The poshest place we have been so far, and the best by far! First, the greeting: warm and welcoming, the check-in staff are diligent in making you aware of all the amenities accessible in your package. Then the room: airy, roomy, full of light and cosy. The cleanliness and comfort is unmatched. Just what you need to relax and unwind. You may as well go in the immense garden and sprawl in one of the hammocks or the framed beds in the shade under the trees — you'll fell like in a dream… The food: very wide selection, all carefully prepared with your health and delight in mind. The facilities: we didn't have sufficient time to explore all of them, but that pool is so enjoyable. Icy cold due to the weather, but exhilarating beyond words. And mind you: there's no chlorine in this water, so you can just relax nearby without fear of your skin itching from the irritation. Last but not least: the staff is very caring. From the bell-boy, the receptionists, the waiters to all the others: they were so enthusiastic in chatting and making your stay as pleasant as possible… Nothing to criticise, really. Just go and relax!

Great property… Very well maintained. The property is right on the beach front and makes a great family outing.

The reception staff sometimes lack politeness, this is what I found, for info avoid Hotel taxis their price are expensive, for those who are in need in the immediate you can take them if not for your outings and excursions as well as your Airport transfer or hotel is better to book expensive private chauffeur Mauritius on Facebook, they offer you advantageous rates and zero Comission.

Very good evening buffet. Teppanyaki (Japanese cooked in front on plate) to try, as well as the Chinese outside in the evening (beautiful view). Good service. + + for location (view on beach/near bus station), swimming pool, aquatic Club included (pedalo, boat exit, kayak), fitness included and Spa (paying). Indeed, it is an establishment needing a refreshment at the infra room level (aging décor, water tap shower, wrist door, bathtub).

Very nice hotel. Nice staff Quality restoration. Interesting services Luxurious room. On the other hand it is true that for the standing of the hotel some details deserve to be improved (joints, humidity, black spots bathroom)

It is a Sofitel but there is better. In any case we were well received the buffet and the restaurant is good lack of activity in case of rain but activities at sea free or with a good value for money. Some disappointments because lack of rejuvenation on some facilities at the level of the rooms but the comfort is still present.

I had a serious cold on the spot because of the Airco that I had probably put strong but the bartender concocted me a cocktail rom + Thyn +… and the next day I had nothing! Our stay there was truely up to a 5 stars standard! very attentive staff, wonderful dinners and great breakfast! The facilities in the hotel lived up to a 5 stars standard too!

Fabulous resort, very beautiful. Excellent service. The views are fantastic, an ideal vacation spot.

Sandy beaches, great Mauritius hospitality and smile all over you would go. Great and very abundant choices of dishes and menus. Spacious rooms and the services are really world class. Have better beaches in some other hotels but still it's an amazing beach. Have some sporting activities but lack a golf course. Easy to find your way in that zone as the road is straight.

— Beach: Too little lying. Nice and good that they are free and also towels are given for free but it is not enough in the back and the front. Furthermore, it is completely incomprehensible that the coconuts of the palms are not knocked off. All the spots under palm trees will fall away, unless you take the risk of being slain.
— Rooms: Many reviews indicate a backlog of renovations. We can generally agree to this for the whole hotel, although we have probably caught one of the better rooms. Only shower and bathtub seemed worn out and in the doorway at the loo molded it in the corner otherwise it was okay indeed. The beds dind good. Wsrmwasser sufficiently available. Can you ever go out on Zanzibar or the Maldives? Room service 2x per day friendlier than the rest of the staff and good. The hotel complex itself is pretty, but public hallways häugig filthy.
— Food: A reason why we had booked the Sofitel were the positive reviews of the food. Therefore we booked full board as well. Unfortunately, the food only convinces in places. However, the breakfast is almost impossible, which corresponds to the 5 star standard. You miss a maximum of more sausages and one or the other really exotic fruit such as jackfruit, otherwise everything is available from cold to hot food and excellent quality. Well, my partner would still like to see smoked salmon However, the smoked Marlin looks like the total.
Lunch is mostly good, but offers little.

My stay was awful. Hotel not recommended for any Italian.
Lack of attention at reception, no welcome lift flowers and fruit on arrival. Required immediately supplement not due to upper floor room, but that I had requested the travel agency and that would have to book and not report, being same room with identical features. Lack of room for shower: bath foam hood. Alarm clock required and scheduled for the morning for excursion but never played. Fixed phone in room out of use for days. Air conditioning that flooded the room.
The restaurants are 5 but it actually works the buffet where you have to get up all the time in the middle of the people. No air conditioning, hot humid you eat sweating. The others are one Chinese the other Japanese. Those fish near the sea closed to alternating days in the period of the highest season Christmas New year.
Dirt on the stairs never removed from morning till evening. No one cleans hallways or staircases full of bird droppings that one is forced to trample on. Dirty Sea of oil of boats so that few were bathing all in the pool, placing on the beach flic at FLAC worst ever last hotel. The housekeeper in the morning old lady of 40 kilos who looked like a beggar and while asking for bathroom supplies nothing she always forgot. Fridge Beach Service It took a while to get a drink. In the evening they also forgot to redo the room while having exposed a special sign.

Great location Bad Services Room services are bad They put drinking water in the first night only (only 2 bottles). Then we have to buy Some of the nights do not have variety in the food at their buffet restaurant. They do not have corner for the kids food at all Their staff at beach bar having very bad services. They are not respoding to us if we call them and most of the times ignoring their guests I had lunch at the room and had food poisoning which result in going to hospital. When I told hotel Management about the food and even submit the Medical report to him, the Manager was defending on the hotel and he was careless on his guests and reject my request to not pay for the food. He offered me only discount in some of the water bottles I ordered at room whih is Rs 400 ++. Shame…

A very beautiful area I can only say! Nothing was missing in the hotel. All wishes were implemented. The food is varied and delicious.

Hello, we had a nice one week stay overall.
Strengths will remain:-the restoration or choice and quality was largely at the rendezvous, small downside on the communication of the themes of the buffet beforehand. This will allow us to avoid missing the Mauritian day!
— The setting and environment of the hotel, beautifully arranged with beautiful green spaces. It helps to get the rooms a little bit older.
— The SPA, to do!
— and finally and especially the smile and the reception of the staff, all charming and pleasant.
Negative Points:-Little explanation and information for the different nautical activities paid or not.
-Had to undergo 2 days of quite heavy work in front of our room, which for a hotel of this standing and a little disturbing, if still we had been warned!?.
This joins the communication point which can improve.
Nevertheless, we will keep a good memory of this important moment for us.

Room: bed uncomfortable (squeaking at every move, seemed to be in the boat) poor linen) air conditioning (very noisy) cleaning (the lady was very intrusive, also moved our personal linen) bathroom: Old sanitary Sink faucets full of limestone and different from each other.
BUFFET: Well assorted, too bad for most of the waiters that I feel do not live up to the service.
More than once I had to store the dirty dishes myself.
Beach service: Good.
Reception: There is no one who speaks a little Italian. It's not 5 stars.

Beautiful, beautiful Thai style in Mauritian land, this hotel is located on the beautiful beach of Flic en Flac, has a magnificent swimming pool, a restaurant and sublime rooms overlooking a postcard sunset. To try at least one night.

Hotel accommodation is very good room and bed are very comfortable. Dining in the restaurant is perfect for the public. The overall waiter in the hotel moves very slowly.

An amazing place to stay in Flic n Flac. Good luxury at affordable prices. The private beach is outstanding.

Room on the ground floor the 130… traces of mould + strong smell (the maid try to mask this odor by spraying a product on the entrance door, which also leaves traces) but the smell remains.
Door frame (bottom) of the WC gnawed by animals + roll of toilet paper placed on the shelf in wood eaten by glasses! Clean with paint which comes off! Tablet wooden of the bathroom with the patent which detaches plate!
Traces of white paint on the walls of the bathroom… a lot of dust under the bed…
Repetitive evening buffet starters and desserts are very low-end dishes warm are not bad but nothing extraordinary.
The JACARANDA restaurant is excellent with a server (great with a little slight moustache) very professional and Nice, bravo!

It is well received chouchoutte. I'm having dinner. Great nothing to say. The beach fro is limited because of the boats. Then I will tell you later. My first day. All that goes beyond the basic formula for supplements is expensive. The spa, taxi service, drinks, meals outside the expensive etc formula dear… Too bad the frame, friendly staff is part of the qualities of this hotel.

Great hotel with beautiful rooms, usually cheaper than the Hilton except for the restaurants that are very expensive. The demonstrative Japanese restaurant is definitely a must do though.
