Arrived Saturday morning 4th feb to celebrate my special birthday, fantastic hotel staff so friendly and can’t do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble. A special mention to Sheila house keeping who was so friendly and always very thoughtful. Not forgetting Brian and the bar staff thank you so much for looking after us it’s been an absolute pleasure 😊, in fact a massive thank you to all the staff, managers who go above and beyond to look after you and make your stay a most memorable and enjoyable one.

The resort is absolutely beautiful. Breathtaking views and gorgeous settings for picture perfect moments. Check in was quick. We arrived at 9:30pm and were travelling with kids. Kiran at Guest relations was excellent in giving us a quiet private seating area and checking us in within 10minutes of arrival. She was excellent throughout the stay checking up if our kids were ok and if we needed anything. The rooms are that of a 5 star level. Beautiful and classy finishes. The bathroom is huge and has a shower and well as a tub. The cleaning staff had the rooms looking fresh and spotless at all times. Devraj, the manager of the Nomad restaurant was outstanding throughout our stay and very willing to help at all times. He allowed us to take food off the buffet on the first night as it was about to close and he had it delivered to our room for us to eat at leisure. The service at Nomad is of the highest standard with the waiters being so attententive to guests needs. They were very accommodating and are willing to help you with almost any request. The food was similar every night but of a good variety and something for everyone. Breakfast buffet was ok. The pancakes were a firm favourite with my daughter. The pools make you feel like you are in paradise. The beach is beautiful but very rocky. The water sport was exciting, however you may have to wait a while if it's busy or come back the next day.

Great family room. Slept 4! An amazing place to stay. The staff are a credit to this hotel. They were absolutely amazing! Incredibly polite and they’d do anything to keep you happy! Great fun!

Pluperfect! This word alone sums up our stay in this hotel the meridien. We were warmly welcomed by the very dynamic team, who took care of us throughout our stay, with lots of good advice to visit the region. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and quality. The location is great, a short walk to the ocean. For lack of time it's The top! we will come back to this hotel and we recommend it without hesitation. Really a big thank you to all your team!

Will not recommend for day package. No locker facilities, we were asked to carry our bag with us and upon complaining they allowed us to leave our bag at the reception. Customer service was also not good on that day. We were given the welcoming cocktail and we waited for around 30 minutes. Its only upon asking that someone came to attend us. Some personnel seemed lost or new. The only good thing was the food.

One of the best hotels we have been. Great customer service. Room and amenities are excellent. Food is great. Staff are so friendly. Even the doctor there is so helpful. Will surely come back again.

Another unforgettable moment, this time in a new setting that fully deserves the 5th star. The very courteous and attentive staff has our needs. The restaurants are worthy of a gastronomic starred and very professional service from the waiters, diverse and varied dishes for all tastes.

The room, beach, restaurant and kitchen staff are very welcoming, friendly and dedicated. We also keep in touch through social networks with some of them. We want to go back.

Island life of luxury. A typical Mauritian resort with a collection of accommodation for a range of visitors, including an adults only, quiet section. Pricing options are varied, so check it carefully before choosing. A well equipped wellness center with sauna, jacuzzi and gym is available. Being on the west coast, the sunsets are amazing. Four restaurants ensure that the gym becomes necessary, but there are many water activities to choose from too. Friendly staff.

Great rooms with all amenities. Quiet ambience. Service is prompt helpful and efficient. Food was delicious (Indian cuisine). Lots and lots of in-house activities including watersports, outdoor games, private beach, pool. Plenty of avian species in the garden — my kid just loved to look at the birds. Overall had a great stay.

What an amazing stay at the hotel. Staff are extremely helpful and humble. The staff have really gone out of their way to make our stay with them comfortable. Incredible service. For them impossible is nothing and they try to go beyond customer expectations. We had the opportunity pf meeting the general manager and we understood why everything is working so well. He is the first one working for the excellence and transmit his passion.

I really enjoyed this place. Check the menu before committing to a restaurant Cumin, the Indian restaurant downstairs was my default. There are nice grocery stores down the road. Room service is of high quality but expected room service prices. The fridge was not working and they never got it fixed. The cleaners did miss a step here and there but nothing major and were very nice. We accidentally got locked out they were very helpful in helping us and avoiding any charge well done the maintenance crew. They had a early breakfast for us when out plane was leaving early in the morning. I say well done to the hotel staff.

Honeymooners paradise… Get a lazy morning on the beach with ur beloved… I had my wife n beer. Great breakfast buffet. Even if u want to miss on the package tour, being in the hotel provides u ample opportunities to be together. Mauritius, the whole experience still intoxicates… I m coming soon.

The moment you enter, you will know all the money was worth it. Just a bit amazing resort with good food and great service. The private beach is a nice place to enjoy and chill too!

The employees have trouble working properly apparently, if not very nice view of nirvana with a nice room but the hotel seriously needs to be…

Very good location and very good facilities. But candle light dinner of this hotel is not so good and you will feel that the bed is little moist because of the weather though the bed sheets are being changed every day. Rooms are sea facing and view is amazing. Breakfast and lunch are also nice. One should stay in this hotel.

A very beautiful place. Enjoyed being in the room by the sea beach and the swimming pool. Food was good. Chief chef Mr Khan takes personal care of almost all guests. We even could get Jain food there without onion garlic and liked it too. Rooms r big, staff is courteous.

In desperate need of a refurb and some tlc. Paint chipping away, metal framework of door. Handles had come loose, Dirty and stained net curtains. I stayed 2 nights with my toddler, bed was awful and dipped in created a curve. Would not return simply because of clearly over used mattress. Staff were generally very polite and accommodating especially y when noticing I was with a very difficult toddler! Room service portions were small for the price paid and surprisingly meals on the kids menu were big enough to feed an adult at half the price! Restaurants were lovely and had amazing food lots of variation and in different locations of the hotel. Decent hotel but wouldn't come back as I'd like to try something else.

Exceptional place to spend a holiday and in love with 4 restaurants with various themes. The setting is idyllic Super.

Very nice and attentive staff. The beach of the hotel is very beautiful with the pontoon on one side and the palm trees, sunbeds on the other. Buffet side: varied and very good. The restaurants are finer than the buffet with a neat presentation of the plates. On the beach, activities for all, included in the price (kayak, windsurfing, waterski, wakeboard, and boat trip with Glass bottom). Here again the staff, passing by the vendors on the beach, are very friendly, always smiling and not at all insistent.
In short a nice experience and a hotel to recommend with a real impression that everyone is in the small care for your holiday to go to the best…
Only point to note: A little old equipment in the rooms, but hey, with everything the island brings, we stay in his room!

Very nice hotel, the rooms are pleasantly large, the hotel staff very friendly, wishes are met quickly and they speak good English.
Unfortunately, the rooms in the EC are very humid, the air conditioning must run continuously to at least 19 degrees.
The beach is gorgeous, unfortunately the entry into the water is difficult due to the stones, coral and sea urchins. Slippers are needed.

Food is simply amazing, The hospitality is so refreshing. Staff goes above and beyond. Rooms are clean and spacious. Views are breath taking.

Good: Rooms are large. Partly renovated. Staff always friendly and anxious. Wishes are fulfilled very quickly as far as possible. Staff usually speaks good English and French water sports including: Laser boat sailing, water skiing, pedalo, kayak, glass bottom boat, snorkeling.
Not so good: you can hardly bathe on the beach. Many sea urchins and coral quarry and stones. It doesn't go without slippers.
Snorkeling on the house reef not recommended.
Lying on the beach and pool are just enough. But you can also be unlucky.
There is a children's club. But you never see children there.
Cleanliness of the rooms in itself OK. According to the tropical conditions here and there the colour or joints in the bathroom are black.
The food in the main restaurant is not sufficient for the hotel's other requirements. In the other restaurants special meals are usually for an extra charge. Drinks outrageously expensive or correspond to upscale German prices.

The staff at the resort are great, and are trying everything in their power to make you have an amazing time. The resort is very big, some of the rooms are newer than others, but overall everything is of good quality and plenty of things to do around the resort. A lot of the water activities are free of charge.

We got married with my wife at the hotel. Rooms are great, clean and spacious. You have a very nice sea view. We got great service during a wedding, our 2 cooperators were fantastic and helpful. There is a huge choice of food all day, nice salads in the beach bar. You can have a cocktail in the freah coconut on the beach while watching sunset. You really get feeling that you are in the paradise.

Very nice spacious hotel, rather 3 star +, but very friendly staff, effort but it doesn't always work out everything, for half board there are a lot of water sports and sunset cocktail for free in the details of course not compare with 5 star facilities in Dubai or Thailand. We stayed in the "Nirvana" area, some old-fashioned ambiance but very quiet, (except when the cleaners gather in the morning at 8:), with their own beautiful pool, beach section and Beachbar, the free ALF. Free gift until 6pm, until at 7 there is a free sundowner cocktail, unfortunately with too much cheap juice + ice cream…, the two buffets at 180 + Cummins are very good, absolutely top are the two Al la carte "shells" + "Lafaya", almost 1 star kitchen with tasty En, you can also notice the Franz. Influence, greetings to "Corinne" from the Lafaya, for the Super service and its always friendly way:)

Stay of 16 au19 March. Pleasant stay, clean hotel, varied dining, varied breakfasts, nice personal activities and big bosses.

The staff and the room is lovely. But the food is not good at all. I book in for my Brother birthday they organised a cake for him and then they told me they will send the cake in his room which they never send in his room which is not nice at all to do and I never heard of it. Never go back again. The entertainment not great.

Le Meridien Ile Maurice has Spectacular views, nice clean rooms, helpful staffs and great hospitality, variety of food and drink, beautiful garden, clean beach what else one need for a relaxing vacation. There's no pure vegetarian restaurant in the property but it's manageable as the Indian restaurant "Cummin" has variety of vegetarian options, however it will difficult for people who don't eat in non veg serving restaurants. Overall a great stay. Loved the property and the peace.

Fabulous hotel, super kind personnel assisting and helping all the time, working extremely hard. Was there during the cyclone and the hotel management organised our stay with affordable extra nights, programme and amazing support all the time. Hotel is perfect for families with children or couples who want some privacy. Its divided to two areas. Food was delicious beyond the taste and the sous chef Ali is a top top award winning chef!

We have just come back from an AMAZING experience at this resort. Top class service, all staff friendly, caring and accommodating, rooms of utmost cleanliness. Felt like we were in Heaven. Great location for this nice hotel. The private beach just on the edge of the hotel is sumptuous. The staff are in the small care. Breakfast and meals at the La Faya restaurant are very good.

Great resort where to spend an unsurpassed honeymoon. The food in each and every one of its restaurants is spectacular and the Nirvana area is an absolutely recommended investment. The staff at the hotel are lovely and are always 110% available for anything you might need. Of 10!

Pure relax without more. Best to end the visit to Madagascar and back home.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. If you don't find the right one in 4 restaurants. …, very extensive terrain. The only minus point was that we could only get our room at 2pm on the day of arrival. After 6 hours of waiting… something like that doesn't happen.

We stayed in the Nirvana. Had a couple of issues with cleanliness but the staff were fantastic in sorting them out and very apologetic. The hotel is old and the room we had, despite the beautiful, view was more like a business suite. The food was pretty good but we were charged $5 for a bottle of tap water at the restaurant — it was in re usable unsealed water bottles. That was a major disappointment. Drinks are very overpriced. Quite a few water activities during the day. The sega show was really good! was quite disappointing overall for a 4 star hotel. Been to 3 stars which provided better services.

Amazing day well spent with the family! Everyone was very satisfied. Le Meridien team planned activities for us (race, tug-of-war, treasure hunt etc), and we all had so much fun! Food was very tasty! It was an open buffet. The personel was so helpful and even catered to our want to dance a bit before departing! Thank you so much!

Nice hotel in a decent spot on the NW coast. Property is aging but upkeep seems good and you get larger rooms than you would with more modern resorts. Nice pools, quality restaurants, kid friendly. There isn't much of anything within walking distance so be prepared to pay the ridiculous resort prices for food and drinks. $12 for a can of beer?!?

The hotel is situated on a beautiful white sand beach. The property is a bit old but that really doesn't affect your stay as the rooms are spacious and cozy. There are 5 restaurants, a bar by the swimming pool, a diving but, awesome spa and gym facilities, kid zone and a special zone (including an infinity pool) only for the honeymooners and so much more here! The staff is friendly, cordial and always eager to assist you. You can't see sunrise from here but, watching the sun set and moon rise is an extremely serene experience from its beach. There are so many fun activities and water sports accessible for free for the guests that you just can't get bored here. There are 5 restaurants here and all of them serve amazing food. The Indian restaurant is just perfect for the Indian tourists. The head chef personally prepared khichdi for my parents when they got sick off heavy food and it was the yummiest khichdi they've ever had!

The Hotel is really well maintained with utmost importance on quality of food. It gives you pleasure of living in a big palace owned by you. Go for it.

Upon arrival the reception staff were not welcoming. They tend to ignore you at the front desk and most of the waiters Try to pretend they don't see you to avoid doing any work. Despite being a relatively large hotel there were hardly any parking spaces meaning I had to park my vehicle outside the premises throughout my stay. The gym had no air con whilst 80% of the spa facilities i. E. Sauna, steam room were out of order. The beautiful room was the only highlight. Realistically, the service they offer I would expect at a 2 star hotel.

1 — when we arrived, we were not welcomed and directed to a parking, we had to pick up our own luggage and come to reception, at other resorts, we were warmly welcomed and everything was clearly explained and we also got a tour. 2 — aircon was not working, and was not even fixed when reported 3 — the bath robe was not cleaned because there was a dirty tssuie in the pocket. I wonder what else they don't clean. 4 — after the spa, I paid the bill. I was getting charged again for the same thing when I was leaving. 5 — drinks are way overpriced (140rs for a vital bottle) and food very average compared to other resorts. 6 — sand in the sea is very rocky but if you are snorkelling, you can see amazing fishes. Even though the view and the hotel room was amazing, it was a bit of a let down for us because the staff looked sleepy and obligated to help us.

Hello, we're the family break, we stayed home from 12 to 16 March 2016. We wanted to tell you we had a great stay, we wanted to thank all the staff who were very friendly, pleasant, kind and warm thank you to Mrs. Kiran as well as Pamela of the 180degres restaurant and everyone in the room and in the kitchen which we do discover some new dishes all night. Thanks to the staff of the activities which we we very welcomed and advise thanks to our coach of aqua gym rental staff. Thanks to Lillah who all day made us a nice clean room and who ask us if everything was. We had a wonderful time thanks again for the welcome for all explanations given by the young man who ns to host you are a great team. The framework of the hotel and beautiful and warm and the view is great to soon thanks again vs ts.

Everything is Good but Major problem is there expensive Pricing for Services provided in the Hotel itself. From Food to everything… in the hotel is expensive. Indian Food here is Really very Good. I Recommend you to book in half-board basis else you will end up paying long restaurant bills. Stayed here for 6 nights. Property is Quite Good. There are big farms/agricultural land nearby this hotel.

I went to Le meridien for a week on honeymoon from Dec 8 to Dec 14 and it was a great experience there. People are very helpful especially at the reception. They are ready to help 24/7. All the facilities available are good which made our trip memorable.

I'm back from my trip October 2015! I tell you loud and clear! If you want to waste your money and pass bad vacancy is at the Meridian does it go! Let's start with the rooms: a picture sold as luxury! Bathroom old and attached yellow, horrible finish, back smell to the sink and shower. The floor in the rooms are not clean we feel the dirt when you walk bare foot, the sheets we summer tainted by milk chocolate by my son who has reverse his bottle. I have slept for three days on dirty sheets and ants;)! The restaurants are excellent, but you eat avecles flies south there is really a lot, you have to experience to believe. Be aware that the hotel has two pools have not access to the cleaner, if you have children ;) and the icing on the cake if you're without children (we're agreements for the tranquility of the couples is a good concept) but even without children you have not allowed to drink a cocktail or you install on a sun lounger we just like to understand that you're not the welcome so go back to the other pool! But let's talk about the other pool attached ahahha yellow pool worthy dune municipal swimming pool, children's pool are full of dead flies. Our children and ate flies, at meals and in the pool. Shell happiness summer for our transfers, they sent a letter to tell us the time of our transfer to the airport! We asked the front desk to keep us informed and was our surprise we are told to call us even! Then one mail has been send!

Really awesome hotel. Restraunt was good, gym was also good, enjoyed a lot in the swimming pool and my younger brother too enjoyed in a pool for children. Went on 8sept 2011.

Friendly staff… special mention… Nitish @ Lafaya restaurant, Shyam @ Nirvana pool side bar and Chef Khan & Jimmy @ Cumin restaurant. All in all a great place & we enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

Went with my wife and 2 children. Really envoy and the staff was really caring. The only thing is that the infrastructure need to be renovate but will surely come back.
