Writing this as we wait for our taxi back to the airport. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. ALL of the staff have been incredible and helped us whenever we needed anything. The resort is absolutely stunning! We arrived at the tail end of a cyclone with lots of the island flooded but that didn’t ruin anything for us. We arrived around 9am and didn’t have to wait too long for our room to be ready. When we entered the room it was all we hoped and more! We didn’t really leave the resort, we didn’t need to, we came for relaxation and Michael around the pool guaranteed we had that. Fresh drinks throughout the day, cucumbers for the eyes in the morning, anything you wanted, he did it for you. And when he went home we had Ritesh, Arhassen and Jonathan spoiling us in the evening, along with all the other bar and restaurant staff. All of the restaurants were amazing, especially the peninsula lunch menu. Honestly, we couldn’t fault the place and we just are just so disappointed we have to leave! We could have done another week of this luxury. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

We stayed in a nearby hotel for our honeymoon, our friends have booked Paradise Cove and asked us to have a look. We called unannounced and were shown around, what a fabulous hotel this is, we booked a day package the next day as it was our last before returning home, we had a wonderful day, soft sumptuous sun beds, glorious views, lunch was Michelin star quality with a great choice of food and drink, the suites were beautifully appointed, no luxury had been overlooked. Would definitely recommend.

I had one of those lovely rooms made up of a stunning decor with particular attention to details. One of the perks was the library, I wish I could stay longer to enjoy these fascinating books. What about the food you may ask. So many choices and each dish as mouthwatering as the other. All the staff were so attentive and had this positive vibe, which really helped elevate the stay experience. Oh did I mention the pool overlooking the Gunners Coin, I could spend my whole day here. If you want a small piece of pure indulgence and luxury, I would definitely recommend Paradise Cove. Thanks for the stay.

As picky hotelier I must say that hotel is s small gem with lot of style and taste, lovingly chosen corners to chill out or enjoy the piece, many details down to the flower on each table. Rooms are small yet beautifully done, elegant and comfortable, cozy. Though we had only day use we enjoyed being away from the every day life, surrounded by beauty of design, beauty of nature and kind service. Surely will return.

Just arrived and wow! What a stunning location, beautiful rooms, stunning scenery, great pools and beautiful bar and restaurants. Truly paradise.

Wow what a honeymoon we had! From start to finish the service was exceptional, the food was perfect and sometimes breathtaking, the room was spotless and comfortable, the views were picturesque. We could not fault our 13night stay. The 4 restaurants, 3 pools and 2 bars were just perfect!

Was a lovely place to holiday, never busy and a beautiful cove. 2 things to note. When we stayed it could get very noisy due to the public beach next to the resort, there were parties held here with very loud thumping music which could be heard throughout the resort and in your room (staff weren’t particularly sympathetic about this). The other thing to note is the additional supplements you are required to pay on top of your all inclusive package for any kind of decent food. The all inclusive menu was somewhat limited. Overall a good holiday but they could do more, especially with the food.

The Hotel is amazing, I rate the installation in 4 stars, but do not expect a real beach. There is a very nice infinity pool overlooking the ocean.

Hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff are above and beyond helpful and friendly. The detail that they put into the flower arrangements on the grounds makes the whole place so beautiful and smell of perfume. The infinity pool was my favourite place in the world.

What a wonderful place to stay when your celebrating your new life with your husband — God’s creations goes beyond anything I could ever imagine — the foliage, bird & sea life are breathtaking & the people are welcoming & friendly wanting to share their beautiful home with you.

We spent few days there in June: Pro — very friendly staff, everything clean and well taken care — large selection of food (both for breakfast and dinner), nice taste ans quality — live music in evening — nice location and setting for breakfast and dinner — some water sports/activities included — three restaurants for dinner, The Cove is nicely located at the small "beach" — romantic hideaways at the beach (be early and reserve your spot) Cons — For dinner same menu for one week (should change around middle of week as most guests probably stay for one week and can then enjoy two different menus) — Rooms are too dark, especially toilette is very dark (+you can only wash hands in separated bathroom) — room was somewhat damp and a/c was leaking minimal — only one beach towel per day placed in the room (you need to look for staff and ask for more/new) … the Cons are not a dealbreaker and can easily be solved by management… otherwise great location — overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and had some wonderful days!

Paradise cove had been a truly luxury honeymoon! Staff have all been so polite and kind. Nothing has been to much, we seriously haven’t had to lift a finger. Food had been incredible, so much on all the menus. All restaurant where amazing but our favourite had to be the xo. The massages where incredible, we would highly recommended the duo ritual bath. Out of this worlds relaxation. Our time at paradise cove has really been something to remember. With endless thing to do… from hire bikes to playing tennis, water skiing, canoeing, indulging in lot of lovely food, wine tasting, private tours around the Island. To just spending our days by the sea in the love nest. We both would like to thank paradise cove and all it staff for looking after us so well and making it a truly amazing honeymoon. We will be back Cassie & Andrew Wiggins.

Excellent hotel — amazing pools (one infinity, one large one with excellent bar service), and free water sport activities offered — try waterskiing. Food a bit same-y for a week at lunch, generally sandwiches and chips, but good choice of dinner venues. Definitely try the romantic dinner on the beach, prawns worth the extra supplement.

Two weeks of perfect relaxation. Great food, welcoming and friendly staff, excellent rum cocktails. We renewed our vows and the arrangements were handled by the staff with a few quick questions, no fuss. Will definitely return in future.

A five star experience, the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive. All made us feel welcomed. The pools, views and food are exceptional, with local dishes given a gastranomic twist if you wish to enjoy a more seasoned fare. With double the number of sun beds to guest available there was never an issue finding a quite spot to relax, indeed with the love nests around the cove being popular you can often have the beach to yourselves.

Paradise! A place to enjoy a couple's rest. It's the end of the world, but real. Pure intimacy! Ideal for a honeymoon or just to take a few days for couples of any age. A luxury in every way. Everything is exclusive to the guest.

A wonderful hotel, friendly welcoming staff, great quality amenities. The food was excellent and the bars well stocked. The rooms are well furnished with Handy Phones to provide a lifeline when away from the hotel Wi-Fi. The setting is gorgeous, I can't wait to come back!

I am currently in the middle of a weeks stay, and I am loving it!
I can’t understand the review about lack of response to a complaint. I happened to mention that a path was overgrown between a property, and, within the hour, the plant had been cut back!
When we asked for olives (with pre dinner drinks), we were told they didn’t stock any, but would go and buy some. True enough. Next time, we were offered olives. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff… so glad we are staying here! I am a well traveled individual and would highly recommend this place!

The assessment is not so easy in parts. But first of all to the positive: the employees. (*****) We have experienced them as extremely friendly and helpful. Again and again there is demand, whether everything is in order. The management also runs through the facility and appeals to the guests.
Service. (*****) responded quickly and friendly to concerns. During the morning arrival you can have breakfast in peace and after that the formalities in the lobby are done. Until the room is ready, you have the possibility to shower, to move and to put the suitcases. This means that you can start your holiday even when you arrive early.

The plant. (*****) Very well maintained, beautiful and lush and with the lagoon and the headland also delightfully located. It is constantly cleaned, swept or raked in the plant. Algae washed in the lagoon are removed several times a day.
Of course, the hotel stands out for its small size and quietness during the day. We enjoyed the water in the pools. It has hardly smelled of chlorine.
The food. (*****) The food is not only tastefully prepared, it has also tasted excellent. The fish convinced us. We found the tuna very tasty. No matter in what way it was offered. But also the Australian beef was very good.
The prices for the drinks we found at a normal level. Bottle of water approx. 4.30 euro, glass of red wine 6.50 euro.
At breakfast you can have different things prepared.

Our main issue was around the food, and restaurant facilities. As you can read in other reviews, I am not alone in this opinion, and we heard multiple other people whilst away complaining about it. To start with there are NO air conditioned restaurants/bars. Whilst this isn’t a problem on mild evening when it is hot, and wet it can be incredibly humid, and sweating into your meal is not the most pleasant feeling (although it would probably add some much needed seasoning to the food. ) I would be disappointed to receive the food here in a 4* hotel – it is absolutely not 5* quality. We tried all the restaurants and the low quality was the same across all of them. A beef stir fry that had so much flour in that it created some sort of inedible wall paper paste; a pad thai that (almost impressively) managed to taste of absolutely nothing despite containing what seemed like everything in the kitchen; a croque monsieur that would have caused a mutiny in France; rock hard bread rolls. Most of the food was either deep fried, or doused in so much sweet chili sauce that it was impossible to identify what it was actually meant to be. The breakfast buffet was limited, and of poor quality with only one dish changing each day. We also had some concerns over the hygiene.

Great all round except basic rooms are basic and need a make over, they are also quite small. The grounds staff do an amazing job and the hotel looks beautiful. The water sports are great and we loved the infinity pools and floating jetty. The live music and entertainment is also excellent and they are very skilled. I agree with other reviews that food is nice but it is a bit hit or miss. A couple of times our order was taken down incorrectly. We also had an issue with taxis. The hotel rates was very high. Locally we were quoted 800R for a trip to Port Lois. The hotel tried to charge us R2, 800 return which is steep even to people from London! Overall we have enjoyed our stay but a bit more attention to detail in the double rooms and with the food would make this hotel next level.

Belongs to the best small luxurious hotels in the world, small, fine, but in 5min. Seen everything. All inclusive, but still consumed sign. Especially at dinner 1, 5BIS2 std time schedule, then signation (lasts). Best to get up, go. I did that, waiter comes after running, even in the rain! Beach approx. 40m at a sea water varnish, goes to knees, at high tide to Huefte. Beach no fine sand, rather building material, people with shoes, sandals gone. But 3 times Taegl. Cleaned. Rooms? Well, we had senior suite, big but dark, 2 TV, 1davon huge, 2 climates, wine leaking, had to Muelleimer Untrstellen. Large bathroom with spa bath, Sep. Shower, which ueberlief every time, in places dripping water from the ceiling. Especially on the big terrace when it was raining. Staff very nice, friendly, eager. No travel guide on site, were put on UN's own. No info, nothing! To take care paid transfer itself. Otherwise very nice! (does not mean for nothing: again an experience richer)

Paradise Cove is just Paradise! From the decor to the beautiful gardens and picturesque views of the ocean it has truly met all expectations and exceeded them. The staff are extremely polite and friendly and the service is 5 stars. The only thing that cod do with minor exceeding is the level of cuisine. The food in our opinion doesn't match the level the hotel aims for. It is repeated throughout the hotel on several menus and could be raised in terms of selection and quality of produce. In by no means is it bad or not appealing but rather in need of a more experts touch. It is a wonderful place and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a slice of luxury and romance. The spa is also a huge asset as the treatments and ladies who do them are exceptional.

The hotel grounds are absolutely stunning, especially the infinity pool that overlooks the ocean. All of the staff are extremely friendly and will do everything they can to make your stay as nice as possible. We were there for 5 nights at the end of our honeymoon and it was the perfect end to our stay in Mauritius. It is a smaller, more personal and relaxed hotel than some of the other hotels on the island, but if you are after a slower pace of life then this is the place for you. The catamaran trip that they run from the hotel was a highlight of our stay on the island, especially the snorkeling part of the day, the best I have ever seen. I think the hotel would benefit from a bit of a spruce up in some areas, and it did feel a bit understaffed at meal times. The A La Carte restaurants were booked up quickly so book on arrival or before if you can.

The lady is right the rooms are dated but… I spent my time on the beach, in the infinity pool… the bigger pool and restaurants so it balanced out on the room size but a hotel of that stature needs to be boasting fancy new rooms.

The resort itself is beautiful, very private and secluded, however the rooms are small and very dated, certainly not 5 star, and the food is very hit and miss, again not 5 star. For the money this place is charging I would have to say it is not value for money, The entertainment at night is poor and definitely aimed at the more mature audience rather than honeymooners who seemed all in their 30's, it pretty much closes down at 11pm, so if coming here for a mix of night life, choose somewhere else. If happy to be in bed by 11 then it may suit.

My husband and I finished our honeymoon with 4 nights at this resort. It was the perfect end to a perfect honeymoon. Obviously this hotel is targeted very much towards couples whether it be honeymoon celebrations or 50th wedding anniversary's. For this reason, the romantic aspect is turned up a few notches, with candlelit dinners, couples massages offered in the day spa and little private sun beds all over the grounds. A concern I had before staying at Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel was that it wasn't located on a beach but a manmade cove (those beaches that stretch for miles with white sands and turquoise waters). I can tell you after staying here that that didn't matter one bit, and after visiting some of the beaches during our stay, I wasn't too fussed about not having one nearby. Everything about this resort is just beautiful. The tranquility of infinity pool overlooking the ocean will put you in holiday mode from the moment you arrive. I would recommend booking the Catamaran day trip from the hotel (which operates every Friday) to the three northern islands. Here you will see that postcard image that every associates with Mauritius, white sand, blue sky's, crystal clear waters. Do make sure you don't get seasick however as this was quite a bumpy ride. If you are travelling to this hotel, I would recommend the premium all inclusive package as food/drinks etc are quite expensive once you're there.

5 star boutique hotel. Perfect for honeymooners. Beautiful beach.

I have been twice to this hotel now and both times I have left contented and delighted with the whole experience. The hotel staff are very friendly and the service was impeccable. When dithering over my choices they offered and provided a medley firstly with the pre-meal cocktail a sublime drink of the bar staff's own creation warmed my soul, then a mixture of starters for my meal. The meal itself was presented like a piece of art, in a setting worthy of the name paradise cove. Fresh ingredients were evident and cooked to perfection with adequate portion size (I am a big eater — both definitions). I cannot have asked for more and they have left us with no choice but to return for our honeymoon. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Wonderful boutique hotel, excellent amenities and lovely rooms and simply stunning views. The only down side is food can be very hit and miss at the restaurants especially if you are travelling with a vegetarian/person with special dietary requirements and the drinks at the bar are ridiculously expensive!

This is a 5 star beauty. Positives and positives nothing else as name depict. Mr. Michael in the bar and Mr. Dipak in kitchen are two excellent buddies, who will make your stay unforgettable. They have 3 restaurants including Indigo, the special one. Breakfast is buffet but lunch and dinner were all a la carte which made it special. They have swimming pool, pick up and drop, Business Centre, Spa and all other modern facilities. The hotel is situated at a remote location and you must take a cab (costly to some extent) to reach nearest town. Overall an awesome experience. Strongly recommend for family stay.

Its good for couple who want intimacy and tranquility. No animation during midday or afternoon except for boathouse. But overall a good place. Deepak from the restaurant is super and very friendly.

Beautiful place and the staff is excellent. Would have been 5 stars if it was not for the Spa which is a bit of a let down. Also it was sad that we arrived on Friday and was told that the 2 restaurants that we have to book for is already booked and on Sunday they are closed.

I went to this hotel wanting a peaceful relaxing holiday. I went as a single person and thought I might have made a mistake as I realised there were a lot of honeymoon couples everywhere. Paradise Cove was however exactly what the name implies and the staff were always watching out for me in a polite and friendly manner. I always felt safe yet pleasantly alone in the numerous areas to while away the day. This hotel ticked all the boxes and I will definitely return one day.

A really nice hotel, but no beach.

We arrived exhausted by work and l atmosphere of this good land which is the France. This paradisiacal place won us completely and rests. Kindness of Mauritians, beauty with breathtaking landscapes; hotel and restore our castles relay dignent. Dr. The doare.
