Generally we liked our stay. The resort is not new, however staff is very helpfull and polite. The only downside is that we got SCAMMED with the bottled Rum at the Bar. I do not believe it was intention of the hotel, still we paid for Rum thinned with water or whatever…

Very nice place for holidays. We feel fine and are happy to stay here this year again. Food, Room and Service is perfect, at any time they are very helpful and friendly, it is a familiär hotel. Thanks to to the staff and of course to the Management for the great hospitalty.

Great hotel setting ideal and personal to small care for its guests. Comfortable and correct room. Very nice meals and entertainment.

We had a lovely stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lunch meals could have a bit more variety. Deserts were the same all the time. Beach was superb.

We liked our stay. The resort is not new, however personnel is very helpfull and polite. The personnel attituted supplement the downsides of the hotel. The food was really good, but be prepared for local quisine or specialized e. G. Chinese or indian dinners. We liked to try something new. Do not worry, you will always find something that you would like. :)

Very good hotel, with a team of very friendly and professional. Meals always well served. For food, have clearly seen that efforts are being made! choices are many and both Mauritian and European! Bravo to the staff of the Nautical centre! Thank you and bravo for the team of the bars and services, they are friendly and with real smiles! When at the SPA, the team is the APPOINTMENT, we nudged the wings of the angels several times during the session in their hands! A true sweet happiness! We have just complained of a bad animation day and evening over 3 weeks. We invented a game : That is what will actually be proposed in the day by making a contribution to the displays changed every morning at home? Only in the evening and some daytime activities are actually carried out… I am still waiting for initiation: Immersed in a swimming pool, local Instruments, water polo, Limbo etc… The Karaoke on a screen of 40 cm it is not the top… The Boss of the animation gets the job done, but are team is less serious. If the Hotel does not wish to focus on the animation, as it is clearly described in his ad! We don't ask all day, but at least when it rains, the wind etc and that the pool and the ocean are less than passable, we take a bit would be nice! We asked several times for water Aerobics, you told us not this day, but there was nothing to the place. All of the people with whom we have exchanged were in agreement (I hope they will be honest).

Very nice and calm place with beautifil beach.

Had a great time. Hotel small and cosy, never had problems with tables for food. Pool was great for me as I’m 5ft 4 and water came just above my neck, so no worries that it will suddenly go deep. Staff were brilliant. Must mention Chef who kept coming around tables asking if everything ok. If you wanted something different to eat eg burgers and fries they would happily make for you. Room has filled fridge and topped up daily, all free. Cleaning was excellent. Would go back again, and many of the other guests we spoke to had been before. Very relaxing holiday.

Love this place and the staff are 2nd to none and ways with a smile and a cheerful word.

The beach and the staff is the best! The room is very good! For lunch and dinner I have fruits and ice cream!

Very nice beach with fine sand, very welcoming staff, spacious rooms. The kitchen would deserve to be more varied and refined.

The staff is very accommodating and no wishes are left open! For "only" 3 stars more than good!

A 3 star hotel with 5 star service. A friendly hotel where the staff work hard and to ensure your stay is is a special one. We would return here without hesitation. In our opinion the Veranda palma Hotel is situated on the best section on beach, a great holiday all around.

I give a 3 star out of 5 for the 3 star hotel. Value for money although the hotel could have done better.

Small but perfectly formed beach attached to an upscale hotel. Friendly staff but food menu a bit basic but all done well although portions were not overly generous. Need to be either a guest or a guest at its sister hotel in grand baie to visit.

Warm welcome after a long flight, shown to our rooms quickly, rooms are lovely and clean. Staff in the restaurant really look after you, the food is really good too with a variety to suit all nationaties, bar staff are really nice, they laugh and joke with you. Entertainment was good in the evening. The beach is amazing. The young lads maintain it very well. They collect the coral everyday left by the tide so you have pure sand to walk on and the most crystal clear sea you could imagine. Absolutely loved my holiday here and would definitely go again.

As a couple in September 2014 have been two weeks in this beautiful and pleasant hotel. Impressions:
very friendly, warm and helpful staff in the entire service! 3 1/2 star hotel
rated good. Food and drink offer good and (for us) tasty and sufficient. Sportangbot good. Beach: great. Environment, places, shops, etc. It's bad. As the daily evening program. As we searched for peace that was not disruptive. Many and beautiful impressions gained by privately organized excursions (six) all over the island. Offered trips are too expensive and not worth the money! A Downer (not only us, but also other guests uncomfortable fell on. ) but unfriendly, sometimes arrogant performance two young ladies at the reception (short and barely, unhelpfully) that should know the management! PS. : very smooth and weekly reception of all guests in the hotel is pleasant in the evening with drinks and very tasty little appetizers. We greet with thanks again all service Mitrbeiter here from beautiful lower Rhine/Duisburg/8 10 2014.

Brilliant. Polite, helpful and considerate staff. Accommodation was spotless and comfortable. Food was excellent with so much choice. This was a 3 star hotel with a 5 star service. Thanks Shiva and all the staff.

Beach is very nice and no slippers required. Hotel is rather small and quiet. Rooms simple but clean and recently renovated. Service ok. Eating predominantly Indian, or local. You will find cooked and therefore chewy always what tastes one but usually too long fish and meat. Garden maintained swimming pool rather small, but the great sea unnecessarily. No luxury, but ok if you don't spend too much want/like/can.
