Best hotel that I've been for a while now. Try the Floating Market restaurant with a Japanese chef. Try the coconut milk Soup and it shall be the best soup you've tasted all your like. And of course the sea and the pool. The hotel's architecture is very nice. Has a manor feel to it.

Great place for vacation with the best hospitality from the first step to the hotel and throughout the whole stay. Lovely beach and sea side. Very good location to visit the south part of Mauritius. I wish stayed longer.

Just a beautiful place to stay, with wonderful restaurants, super-comfortable rooms (the bed was amazing) and super-friendly staff. The hotel could not have done more to make our stay as pleasant and memorable as possible, even organising cooking lessons for my wife while I was off kite surfing. We only had superb food — in particular the fish was so fresh and prepared in such a delicious and healthy way — but for people that normally don't go full-board this was a delightful and surprising revelation. We will be heading back there as soon as possible.

Wonderful stay. The service is great — all staff members are very attentive. Suites are very spacious and have fantastic views of the ocean. Restaurant selection is lacking for lunch, but meals are delicious. Looking forward fo staying here again.

One of the best St Regis hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Never feels crowded, boutique hotel feel with large hotel amenities. Highly recommended.

House keeping needs extensive training. I've stayed in hotels with lower star ratings and got better attention to cleaning and small details. That said, nothing beats the ocean ocean view and well thought out array of cuisines and restaurants to choose from. Staff smiled alot, made me feel at home.

When God saw Mauritius, he created Paradise.

This is one of the best place in the Mauritius from every angle. The sunset view, water temperature and wind speed for those who love surfing. This is the best place you. Not too busy but just a good number of people around the beach. The hotel and restaurant is just the best. Pop in anytime and you will not be disappointed.

Shocking service for a luxury hotel. Lacks all the finesse of a signature hotel. Poor show SPG. I asked the butler service to clean my room st 18:30. Went for dinner and returned to find room not cleaned. Complained at front desk who called the manager who did not address me but got the front desk supervisor to ask what the problem was. He obviously did not know English or did not know how to handle conflict. My child was fast asleep at 21:30 and they wanted to clean up then. I said NO as it is not practical. The only excuse that the supervisor gave was that I may have spoken to the butler desk and not my butler directly. WHAT! Surely they needed to address the complaint and not find excuses. Whilst the restaurants seem great, finesse lacks all around. The Westin in Mauritius is a better bet. Staying often in Mauritius I found that the Beachcombers are a better bet. I have stayed at other St Regis hotels and must say that this is the bottom of the barrel.

We had an amazing stay at the St. Regis. The resort is beautiful, it has several restaurants, which are all good and the Indian and pan Asian restaurants are great. We took a boat tour and realized that the beach in front of the St. Regis is way less crowded than other hotels, which is awesome. The service is really good and some people make it outstanding. I wanna thank Grace, who greeted us personally every time she saw us and especially I want to thank Sharma, who served us extraordinarily every day. He welcomed us with a smile and treated us especially well. In case management reads this review please extend my gratitude to Sharma for me.

For me c a hotel made Ke to relax… c expensive and in addition there is very little animation, that 3 evenings per week the quality of the service is really top… Nothing to say.

A great five Star level hotel. Rested in 2015. Loved everything. Good breakfast. Great gym with personal trainer. Children's room with babysitters. Several restaurants. Beautiful interiors and architecture in colonial style. Library. Entertainment (Sabrazh, Suzy, SUP, kayak and more). We were in the Catholic Easter period and all the residents were Prizentovany sweet gifts. And most importantly. Le Morne is the most beautiful beach on the island, with incredible sunsets. Believe me, I have seen on which beaches are Hilton and Sofitel (no offense to these hotels). I wouldn't venture into the water. And finally. The prices are not worth complaining as you live in a five star hotel. And it should be taken into account, as the nearest restaurant, it is a small café on a public beach (by the way, very not bad, as for fast food), and more or less, what could be called a restaurant, is in five kilometers from Le Morn. And you will have to go there by taxi (and taxi is the most expensive on the island). As for the slowness and forgetfulness of the staff, I can say one thing is the norm for this region. Do not judge Strictly) )

Heaven on earth, literally. Go for the oceanfront jr suite. Amazing restaurants. Incredible spa. World class kite location right there. Amazing nature. What else can you want. Have been twice and can’t wait to go back for a third time.

Totally amazing experience here on our honeymoon, absolutely first class. There are five amazing restaurants on the resort, a stunning coral beach with luxury loungers, great staff and a beautiful location. Absolute luxury!

This hotel is a real 5* place in the south of Mauritius. The rooms are well equipped. Several restaurants serve all kinds of food and beverages. Even at the beautiful beach the butlers will help you. Furthermore the hotel offers different options for water sport activities like water skiing etc. The weak points: first, the weather in this part of the island is mostly windy and sometimes rainy. Second, you have to take a car to go to somewhere else! Nothing is in walking distance.

We had a great stay at St. Regis — service TOP the employees are all very friendly and attentive. Also the SPA is to recommend-we are happy to come back.

Beautiful property located on the stunning Bel Ombre beach! The Kite-surfers along the beach are definitely a site to see. Check-in service at the property could definitely be improved, but the restaurant staff all around were impeccable. Great venue for a family holiday, since the hotel has several beach / other activities available on-site for people of all ages.

Absolutely wonderful time there. The staff is really great. Definitely something to do again.

Resorts have nice rooms, near the Le Morne, staffs are very kindly. Resorts have nice beach and a nice place to snorking.

I have stayed here 3 times. Once soon after it opened, once a year ago, and a final time right now. The hotel is looking a bit tired, the food could be better, but I have returned because I like the location and the beach a lot. The big failing however is the service. I'm an SPG gold member, when I booked this time the hotel asked what time I'd be arriving. I told them we land at 10.30 so should be there around 12-12.30. We did indeed arrive around this time to be told the room wasn't ready. Silly me for assuming that them asking when I arrive would enable them to get the room ready. I assumed they must be full, but later found out they are only 30% booked. Right now my wife and I are still waiting for our room and have just been told it'll be ready in 20 mins. This is over 2 hours after we arrived… after a 24 hour journey. We would love to have a shower, unpack and start out holiday, but because of failures here, we are still uncomfortable and getting annoyed. Maybe the worst failing is that they are not apologetic, don't try and make it right, and keep talking about their standard check-in time. Having stayed in all the best hotels, I know that making guests happy, maybe offering a freebie something… that might go a long way. Saying "well what did you expect, you know the standard check-in time" is just not acceptable. Flights land at all hours of the day, and unless they are 100% full, they can have our room ready at 13.00.

We came here for our honeymoon, and it was a top location for romantic and active holidays alike. The first luxury that hit us was the butler service which made us feel welcomed, and the subsequent service in the room and various facilities was all pleasant and helpful. The restaurants were good but I wouldn't say the food was top notch. Ww visited all of them bar the Japanese one, all he dishes were slightly style over substance, with the flavours slightly bland or boring. There are some nice quirks in here resort, such as random complementary ice slushy you get while hanging out by the pool, the game room and the cinema which really only shows some easy watching films 3 times a day. Would love to see something more substantial at least for the late showing. One of the highlights was the dinner on the jetty, it needs to be booked ahead, and when the time comes the table was set on the jetty, and we were serves by a few friendly waiter, it was a good experience, although it would probably be better in a warmer season (we were there in October) and the sunset would be a little later so you could actually see your food until the end!

Amazing rooms and my son and I were allowed to ski on the water. Also extreme luxury, so nice staff too.

Awesome place. Amazing property with very good service. Friendly and helpful staff. The property has been very well maintained and the rooms are really spacious. The staff actually help you unpack and pack then leaving the resort. Sort of really helpful.

Stunning location, beautiful beach, nice rooms. Unfortunately the service is not 5* (yet). Butler service is slow and not reliable. Make sure you book the restaurants when you arrive at the hotel, it might be difficult to get a table at the time you want to eat.

Nice hotel, but several disappointing points as 5 star hotel. — My son lost his stuffed animal that he sleeps every night, and I called the hotel if we can get it. They said that they did not find it… We are sure that we lost in the room. My son was very sad as it was his favorite animal to sleep with. — At the bar, we ordered freshly squeezed juice, but it was a mix of real juice and concentrated juice. We asked the bartender, and he said that it is the same juice as the one served in the morning, but he did not deny what we pointed out (which is honest in a way). — Butler never showed up. -Quality of the buffet for children was poor. Concerning the price we paid, I assume that we can find better places.

Interesting Hotel, Good Restaurants.

Recently opened, has the occasional minor hiccup, but the team are working hard to bring it up to the usual St Regis standards. Having visited the Dinarobin and Paradis, I prefer the space between the rooms/villas at the dinarobin, but preferred the bar and restaurant area at the St Regis. For me it's the best, as it's located next to one of the best kiting/windsurfing spots on earth and the watersports equipment was all of a very high standard. The reef is only 50 or so metres from the beach and that allows an incredible view of immense waves crashing, while eating breakfast in the sunshine.
