Loving the fact that my diet can be catered for during our visit — though need to be prompted. Buffets are not plant based enough though when asked the chefs did step up to create alternatives. Activities are great, from guided waking, and cycling to yoga and fire creativity. Staff are ultra attentive and knowledgeable.

It was simply a fantastic experience to stay at the resort. The whole staff was just amazing. The room was luxurious and everything was great. The food and drinks were delicious. Definitely will recommend to everyone who's looking for the best 5-star hotel in the island!

A completly unprofessional hotel with a total disregard for the businesses that supply the gorgeous souvenirs for you lovely tourists. We are glad to provide you with a beautiful memory from Mauritius, but please note, the hotel doesn't pay us for what we supply them. Many of their suppliers are small, local businesses, so please remember this when you're looking to buy a piece of paradise you can treasure always. Be very wary of the ethical practices in the supply chain of this hotel.

We are there now. A boutique hotel in a small paradise. The suites are beautiful. The beach is splendid as well as the pools. Everything is superbly maintained and clean. Bravo. As for the hotel staff they are welcoming, to the services of the guests, we have the French courses to take.
The kitchen is a treat with a great choice.

We arrived Sunday morning and from the minute we walked through the door the staff have been excellent. Cannot praise them enough for how helpful and considerate they are. At this stage special mention to Saaya the Concierge, Fred the pool barman and Aldo. The facilities are second to none. Everyone is so helpful. 10/10 would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone.

The warmest recommendation ever! We like they are thinking of everything guest might need or want, and it is there. We had a fantastic time and would recommend the resort to anyone. We stayed at the Sunset Junior Suite and it was simply amazing. With direct access to the beach from the suite and the private whirlpool, it felt exclusive. Staff members were very polite and gave us a warm welcome. Lovely, friendly and extremely professional staff, extraordinary facilities, delicious food. The beach is great with white sand and clear turquoise water. The activities were great as well. Overall, we've had an amazing experience thanks to the staff and the hotel itself. We will surely be back for more!

In summary, I had a lovely and very relaxing week. I had a Junior suite, in which the bed was very comfortable. The shower in the Ensuite was probably the best hotel shower I recall. The room wasn't huge, if you want somewhere to sit that isn't the bed, but there were private chairs and lounger in an outside area. The food in the restaurants was good (and plentiful) if not exceptional. The main restaurant had a buffet that always had a good selection of local, pasta and other international dishes. If I had a criticism then it was a little short staffed at breakfast for the numbers there, so getting the first coffee was often slower than I liked. The beach watersports were all inclusive, with snorkeling (via a short boat trip), windsurfing, paddle boards etc available. In addition there are 2 heated pools (plus an unheated one too). Lots of people looked like they were honeymooners or similar, but there were a small number of children around too, and certainly my children were well catered for. When we got to the end of the week, you just have to think how much you've enjoyed the stay, and I struggle to think of many other places where I've really not wanted to leave.

Really enjoyed the day spent there. They have a heated pool but was still a bit cold for me. Food is really good. Got to relax and chill :)

It’s a place you will defiantly want to visit again. The staff will go beyond limits for your comfort. It’s perfect for relaxing and chilling. Its a little hidden and might take at least half an hour to reach local food places if you intend to explore the area. But if you intend to just relax and unwind on the beach, this is the perfect spot. They have 3 restaurants, with variable cuisines everyday. So you won’t have an issue enjoying your stay without having the need to leave the resort. A little toward the quite side which is perfect. Whether you have a small family and want to enjoy the beach with your kids or whether you are looking for a romantic stay. This place have it all. Kids can enjoy the different activities the boat house provide for free which have lots of fun, but yet there is no motorized activity and a special dedicated area for swimming so all in all it’s safe for youngsters to play around without worry, and still very quite and peaceful for those couples looking for some romantic and special time. Either way You won’t be disappointed.

Warm welcome and great front office team. The hotel is well situated with a perfect location to the Tamarin Bay and sunset. Food was good and the concept of the hotel is unique. Keep it up.

The Lux LeMorne is in an amazing location with the mountain sheltering it from the poor weather, beautiful beach and calm lagoon and absolutely fantastic staff. We found the serving staff at the restaurants, beach cafe and the beach staff to be amazing and very helpful, accommodating, pleasant and cheerful. They couldn’t do enough for you and were warm and friendly. The hotel also has a very good boat house  centre with again extremely friendly and helpful staff. The beach is clean and well maintained, beach lounges and bean bags. The water is clean and calm. The're is flavoured water for guests on the beach which is a nice touch. There is always someone nearby to take your orders for food and drinks on the beach and in the restaurants.

One of the two favorite hotels of this chain. Delicious ice cream, beautiful mountain view, great beach.

Very good food… I recommend the Thai restaurant… excellent… the activities of the Beach Club are included in the package and I advise you Mateo for the exit dolphins! … It's not complicated… I have only one haste… is to go back!

Wow what can I say about this hotel! This was the final stop of our honeymoon, and we came here to relax after our safari experience in South Africa.
What a welcome, arrived to drinks and a beautiful warm welcome from the staff.
The rooms are stunning, and I loved the night time chocolates!
The hotel is just gorgeous, this is by far the best hotel we have every stayed in and we worry we will always compare back to this hotel!
The water sports are great, and he restaurants do beautiful food.

A dream stay in this paradisiacal hotel. Located at the foot of Le Morne Brabant, the hotel LUX MORNE is undoubtedly one of the finest hotels in Mauritius. Its crystal-clear Lagoon is amazing! The food is excellent, the site: fabulous. Thank you again to Karine and Ashree for their availability and their kindness throughout our stay. A staff with little care, always there to serve you. A perfect week in April: the site, the accommodations, and the meals, the beach, the swimming pools, the gardens: the pleasure and the sweetness of living on holiday in a superb place with a team "to the small cares".

It was very beautiful. Staff were just amazing and food was very good.

Almost perfect, except the very humid room that smells a little bit of the Moisie. Too bad because everything else is top, position, architecture, food, staff.

The grounds at the base of the mountain are beautifully landscaped and the cottages well appointed. The three pools are lined with blue green slate which shimmers for a dramatic effect. The beaches are raked daily and have comfy lounge chairs, bean bags and thatched umbrella tables. They have flavored water stations and even came around to clean our sunglasses! There are 3 restaurants, the buffet in the main dining room has a different theme each night, the Beach is ala carte Mediterranean and East, a Thai restaurant. The food in the buffet has been up and down as far as quality but not bad overall. The location of the beach is great because it is not overlooked by the other hotel next to us. Definitely worth a visit.

Quite possibly the best beach resort I've seen in my life. Visually stunning, in one of if not the best location in the island. Staff are well trained, organised and nice. Never feels crowded eve when full.

Beautiful hotel with slight smears. Already for the fifth time I am now at Lux le Morne. The location is fantastic and has been praised and described several times. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. However, they are in part in the restaurant both at lunch and in the evening buffet simply too little and therefore can not offer the excellent service to which they would be in principle safe. The whole facility is well maintained and it is also permanent a multi-headed gardener brigade busy to get the great garden as beautiful as it is. The rooms are clean, but in some cases they are already in need of renovation. The baths no longer correspond to the ideas that at least I expect at this price. The buffet is varied and always very good. The New Year's Eve buffet was unique, so you really had to come up with something. We will certainly be back, but we would be happy about refurbished rooms and more staff.

One of the most beautiful hotels we know. Perfect service, excellent food, beautiful long beach, clean water, very quiet and great for swimming through offshore reef. Location right on le Morne Mountain, not in the immediate vicinity of the city.
All facilities new, at least in the suites.
Absolutely recommended hotel for couples only.
Recommendation: In any case, take excursions, the island is more than worth seeing.

Simply perfect, in every possible aspect. Luxury has a new meaning. From location, to food, to architecture to sports and services, to the smile of the people. Every dinner is a feast. Just remember three things: the reef colors and life are not so bright as in red Sea or Maldives, it is quite windy and be prepared to walk if you want to get to the kite beach, it's thirty minutes by sea shore.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. One of the best we have stayed in, can't wait to return. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous and could not do enough to make our stay memorable. This will be a place we return to again, the food was delicious and the drinks equally as good. Plus the beach makes for a great added bonus!

Very impressive new aged and fresh approach to leisure and hospitality.
The subtle attention to details on the service and offering were great.
The staff at the kids club (all of Annabelle and Paola's colleagues) and fitness centre (Vincent) were fantastic, with the perfect attitude to making each person's vacation that much more enjoyable and memorable.
The surprises and impromptu set ups (pancake, marshmallows, hidden bottles, coffee tasting, workshops etc) were very very very much appreciated.
I would just say that the kids menu all day offering needs to be enhanced to include more kiddie staples throughout the day.

Love the place room's are clean and all the rooms are in front of the beach and even you can enjoy the sun set from the room. Food is excellent but if you are vegetarian then you have very limited option for food.

A true gem in Mauritius, it looks incredibly beautiful and the staff is very helpful. A little paradise. 2 things would be nice to improve: the soundproof of the rooms (the upstairs neighbours were not very discreet), and some cockroaches control (but on the other hand, we're in the middle of the forest).

Perfect 5* all inclusive resort. Staff service and amenities are top notch. Everything about the stay was fantastic. Comes at a premium price however.

We stayed in a superior room with an all inclusive package and it was lovely. We had an issue one day when there was no hot water which is why I've taken away 1 star, but everything else was perfect. The staff were very attentive and accommodating, the food was great, and the beach activities were diverse and fun.
