Staff available on arrival. For what it cost the stay I thought the unit was definitely better, given the photos of the site that convinced me to choose it! No TV remote control, you have to pay a deposit. No free Wi-Fi, not even in common areas. Pull down the blanket on the sheet a hair, on the pillow a hair. Splintered furniture, the balcony overlooked the kitchen of a restaurant, then all the smells in the room and the noise until late. The front door did not lock, we showed how in Italy they often enter the apartments using a simple supermarket card! I asked if it was possible to have a double bed, but they did nothing but make two sunbeds close together! The fan wasn't working, then got on the bed my husband lit a button on the same at the base. If you have to choose the hotel, make sure before the room that they will give you.

Pretty basic, but everything you need for a base. Friendly, helpful staff. Attached restaurant was good.

Excellent value for money, however you do not expect anything more, very essential, and above all ask for a high floor, those low are almost prisons.

This hotel is well suited for students. For families, the hotel is less suitable. It is very clairvoyant and the breakfast too one-sided. All right, for £41 you can't expect much. Wi-Fi and controllers for TV costs extra. Here should possibly be. A change will follow, because that's really a must.

It is lovely here the staff are really nice and you get table service will be coming back.

On arrival we got upset because by overbooking we were sent one night to a hotel that was not apartment. Fortunately for us as compensation we were given the penthouse apartment when we had booked a simpler one. Suepercompleto, overlooking the bay, plenty of kitchen utensils and even washing machine. The terraces if you overlook the pool, are spacious, especially the attics.

Manager is super nice, staff really friendly. We are satisfied with out booking and stay!

Economic choices, every near to the sea. Great view from the balcony. And the manager are very nice and helpful.

First impression, The Sunloungers. Rotten! What must their kitchen be like? Stayed and paid for half board but only used accommodation and bought meals elsewhere. Only on two occasions did I have an evening meal, the first night and the 6th night. I asked for a pint of larger. It looked strange. Only 90% full and no sparkle to it at all. I wondered if had been someone else's from earlier in the day. The accommodation was clean, the bed as hard as the floor. I wouldn't recommend to anyone except for builders and workers on nearby projects. Staff were polite as they could be.

Cosy apartment, staff are amazing and will go the extra length to make sure you're satisfied. Will definitely stay here again.

Looked better in pics than when we arrived but a nice stop off point for planning your days out from.

Had a pleasant week here. Stayed in room 101 … a 'studio' which was pretty basic but offered everything that we needed at a price that didn't break the bank! Staff were really friendly. Location was good too once we'd found our bearings … as at first we thought we were quite a way out! Once we'd found out where the main area was … it was literally a 10 minute stroll. Bus stop 200 yards away to take you almost anywhere on the island …! Convenience store and an 'Iceland' next door to the hotel. All in all … a pleasant stay … Only gripe … is that the cleaners gave our room a miss! Would stay again!

Nice Restaurant.

Room could have been cleaner and it is a little tired and worn. The balcony is very small and the view is dreadful.

Very nice and clean hotel. Good location and super friendly personnel. The room is not cleaned every day, but if one is not a pig that spends the whole day in the room, this shouldn’t be a problem. Everything works and it’s well maintained. The hotel is very good for the low prices!

Decent hotel at very democratic prices composed of rooms apart.

Old structure that require of some improvement. Not even the heating was working in our room. Cleaning and linen change daily. Breakfast acceptable.

Discreet for a few days can go very upgradeable, good breakfast.

Hard beds, pillows filled with foam flakes, in spite of complaints on check in and acceptance, no exchange. Masonry shower with window for sliding into an extremely stinking shaft. I was stolen from the neighboring window, other corner, my body lotion when I had the window open. The shower head fell apart. When I complained, two days later an employee came to exchange with a tiny Plastkteil. I told him to let it stay, so at least we have a sensible water jet. No new towels, toilet paper had to be requested. Room neighbor got a topper for her bed. Unfortunately, I other day, after I passed this, unfortunately not. Breakfast, except for the toast, OK. Coffee Excellent. Dirty floors because it wasn't cleaned. Beds remained undone. Customers ' wishes are only hesitant to come to nothing. Free Wi-Fi is not normal either. We were transported to this hotel at night because our booked hotel, relax Inn, despite booking, had no rooms for us. Supposedly they belong together… Had to pay €25 on that we were allowed into this white dolphin! Checkout's at eleven. The so-called lounge on the first floor, a lumber room in which tables are aufeinandergestellt, plastic chairss and a tattered office chair, standing beside two ancient monitors, are an imposition. However, there is a large television set up there, which even has German programs.
This hotel is for me a maximum * value. Never again.

Awful, dirty hotel. Rude staff just visited saw, a cleaner once in over a week, beds dirty no clean towels, running sewage, blocked drains, showers dirty on another level.

Yes its old, but mostly clean. Everything in the room is over-aged though and needs replacement. The big problem here though is the amazingly drunk english families taking over the hotel during night, yelling, screaming and fighting, staff is friendly but does absolutely nothing against it even if people complain. Had a few horrible last nights in a row here, first ones were ok. Never again for me, last night I had no sleep at all. Love malta but this place is a mess folks, spend a bit more and go to a proper place. I hope the owner, staff and drunk-annoying-English-folks who think they own the hotel — read this. My standards are not that high, but I dont understand that people give this more than 2/3 stars — unless you're one of the drunk english people off course.

Cheap and cheerful accommodation. A bit run down but everything works. Pool and terrace gets no sun. All staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurant is very good. Regular special offers and happy hours.

The location is great. Pts Nice rooms, pool, in the evenings in the restaurant live music, and you can suck it straight from your balcony.

Simple but reasonably priced accommodation.

Hotel with good value for money the rooms (apartments) are well equipped, the kitchen has what it takes to cook, there are nice little balconies overlooking the courtyard of the hotel with the pool and the restaurant underneath.
The +: Hotel clean and spacious room les —: nice pool But in the shade in the afternoon, noise from the restaurant at the evenings but at 11pm everything is finished, staff not warm.

Good value for money to stay in Malta.
The negatives:-The pool is in the shade from 11am and the mattresses of the sunbeds are not all very clean… — The hot water does not have a very high flow.
-Welcomes friendly, but the departure. No word, not even a hello/goodbye or just a thank you.

Good location and good service.

We were here with my fiancee 4 times. Very good kitchen, nice atmosphere, live music and almost every day there was an offer of 3, 4 courses like Malta night, all you can eat night and etc. Good prices and service.

I used to stay here every year on our family holiday. I had looked forward to coming back again this year (2017) and had booked to stay in the pent-house apartment. Unfortunately a mix-up resulted in being moved apartments twice. The shower head was broken, the shower curtain did not go all the way to the floor, meaning a mopping session was in order every time you had a shower. The swimming pool you could not swim in at all, dirty with lack of attention. Regardless if it is 'off-season' it is no reason to let the place go into this condition. All in all a lack of cleanliness and attention has had a negative effect on the place altogether. We definitely will not be coming back here agian, which is a great shame as up till 2011 we had been going every year, and between then and this year it has gone downhill massively.

Nothing great, poor rooms, just enough services, worth what little we paid.

Very nice place and helpful staff. Air Conditioned rooms without extra payments. Fully equipped kitchen. Children enjoyed use of the swimming pool. Very good location, near bus stop, shops and restaurants in the area. In my opinion very good starting point for trips around the island. I like this place and likely I'll be back here in the future.

Nice place, quiet and clean, lots Of space, well armed kitchen, very close to bus stop and well communicated with every point Of island (direct bus to Valletta or Cirkewwa-feries on Gozo)

We had a wonderful 2 week holiday at The White Dolphin Brilliant Staff made nice friend's Apartment was very spacious and clean and good for our stay We would stay again Marilyn & Michael.

The location is excellent. Comfortable. The kitchen in the apartment is equipped with all the NEOBHODIMM. Close to center.
