Disgusting, very small pool and for the amount of rooms they have a very very small dining room.

Food absolutely disgusting. Entertainment, very poor. Room o. K ish. Safe was broken. Wouldn't go back, if you paid me. The area surrounding the hotel was like a war zone, with vile graffiti on ruins.

Standard three star hotel. Not very good breakfast, but sure better than the dinner.

The gym specified in the contract does not exist.
For rooms of 3 or 4 often misses the extra bed but set by the loan of a room in the meantime.
Very nice rooftop pool.
Air conditioning problem that sometimes gives off a foul smell. It is better to sleep with the windows open.
Helpful and friendly staff with a few exceptions!

Uncomfortable and unusable beds, creaking windows and doors, old and broken furniture that was fixed with screws, bad smell in the hotel and the rooms (chlorine). Very poor breakfast, the worst we've ever had in a hotel. The view around the hotel wasn't the best either, lots of trash and dirty places, and construction works were right in front of the hotel. The swimming pool is very small, and it's very windy up there.

The welcome at the hotel really not nice. We arrived late with a child in a stroller. Room on the 6th floor, elevator broken down. The hotel is in its juice. Plan more to eat outside. No water at the table and identical menus and little interest.

Small hotel located in a working-class area. Interesting for public transport to visit the monuments. Room correct but minimalist. Evening buffet little varied. Pool on the roof but view quite concrete. It is better to manage in English for this hotel and in Malta in general.

Great place, good value for money and friendly staff. Good location, easy to get around malta from there. And the food is nice quality!

Meals without change. No translator for the French. Elevator broke down often. One coffee dispenser in the morning. And a day of failure inevitably.

Hotel is OK; clean if slightly old fashioned rooms. Not a great locale, not near either the sea or local amenities. School parties and inconsiderate visitors made it very noisy late at night. Staff mostly helpful and polite. I went as past of a group, would not have stayed there otherwise.

Relatively quiet area. Location satisfactory to visit the rest of the island by bus. Comfortable rooms. Average meals.

I have been at this hotel for the last 7 years but the standard of the pool area is so poor I shall not be returning… breakfast is reasonable.

Nice hotel, friendly service, centrally located. Unfortunately the roof terrace with pool was still closed as we were here but certainly also great.

Lack of taking the bed not very comfortable and lack of storage to put the clothes bend! Positive, welcoming and clean, and quiet.

Stayed at the Sunflower for a week, the staff were very attentive to our needs, the whole hotel was very clean and well presented. We were on b&b basis and the buffet breakfast was plentiful and well presented every day with fruit, cereal, bread and English breakfast items including eggs, beans, tomatoes and either fried eggs or scrambled on alternate dayscand sausage or bacon on alternate days as well, tea, coffee and juices, all you can eat and drink. We also stayed at the hotel one evening for dinner, which again is on a buffet basis, changing daily and it was also plentiful and very enjoyable, 3 courses at a very competitive price. We will definitely bevreturning to the Sunflower again and would highly recommend it to anyone as a competitively priced hotel.

Back from the city the staff very friendly, the rooms not superb but clean.

Excellent 3-star hotel, European buffet breakfast, included with the room. In the evening you can dine if you want to buffet, every evening the menu changes, for once the cost is E 11, 00 but if you dine minimum twice becomes and 9, 50 x 1 drinks not included, good food. On the roof there is a swimming pool and massages with a surcharge.

Nice little hotel in the north east of Malta. Breakfast is very English. Staff is nice, speaks English. The rooms are very clean. And if you need more than one outlet then you have to improvise.

Walking distance from both city centers ensures you enjoy a night out without the noisy tourist areas. A bus stop or two farther away there is a fascinating aquarium worth every minute spent there.

Very disappointing hotel because noisy (no double glazing), very average room for a 3 star, non varied and diversified restaurant without speciality of Malta to make us discover, no atmosphere at the bar, etc… to advise against.

Cozy bar, big rooms. Has indoor heated pool. The beds are not great.

Great and plentiful breakfast buffet, a little complicated in the procedure acceptance groups, at the reception all wait until the end to receive their key until the final clearance…

The hotel room we had was pretty basic even though it was an upgrade! I shudder to think what the original room without the upgrade would have been like. The rooms could be improved with a much needed refurbishment. The evening meal was very good a reasonably priced for what you get. They also catered foe my coeliac needs. Kitchen staff were very friendly advising what I could or not eat. The hotel is convenient my located about 10min walk from seafront, restaurant and hops are a short distance walk away.

Price-performance is right, breakfast is fine. The wellness area and the 24 hour bar are a real plus.

Excellent hotel. We are here til February. The staff are extremely helpful. The food is good with a wide choice. Cater for gluten free and I have a shellfish allergy, they are very aware of that which is extremely reassuring for me.

Either there are fried eggs with bacon, or scrambled egg with sausages. Never changed.

Air conditioning was not the most modern, with the fan on the ceiling facing half past 8. The food wasn't special. It is enough to make a yearning.

Decent Hotel, breakfast just, away from it all but is a good place if you have a car rental. To 10 min of the coast walk.

Courtesy, availability and cleanliness are master. The buffet restaurant very cheap.

Well located 10 minutes walk to the shops and the sea. Staff friendly and available quiet environment pool on the roof nice with a very nice view.

Very good hotel in bugibba. The location is not the best in town but it offers many services such as indoor and outdoor pools, wellness center, 24h bar, pool bar etc… The rooms are large enough and in general clean. Some issues with obtaining new towels everyday.

Nice hotel, for those who have difficulty walking its uphill from coast and Squate.

To avoid! I go on vacation 3-4 times a year and this is one of the worst hotel that I have visited. The air conditioning has not worked a day in spite of the many re-launch of our hand (it was between 30 and 35•C)

On the site, one sees a very beautiful photo of a bar in the pool on the " you " that is never opened … … In short avoid at all costs.

Breakfast was very designed for English. Nice staff. Everything was clean, but as a slatted was only a wooden chipboard under the mattress.

Room: good clean room with daily cleaning. Not to small but not that big. Air conditioning and a big fan from the ceiling. About 15 minutes walking to the Beach Very nice hotel with good and tasty breakfast. You can also book dinner for a cheap price It has a Pool with a Poolbar, you can sit in the pool and order drinks Theres also an normal second bar opened in the evening and the drinks are good We had the last available room so it wasn't as nice as the other ones Our toilet was a bit broke There are towels, soap and shampoo available Theres also a TV in the room and a safe but you need to pay for it.

I slept in this hotel with my friends eh we were on the ground floor us in the room 116 them in the 108 for the first 3 days all "normal" ce a lift that lacks the sensor then pulls the people there are the secondary stairs that are not cleaned from 20 00 full of cockroaches and insects both alive and dead. Anyway returning to 3 days we found the ants in the room eh the stuff that surprised all my room is that none of us ever brought food inside of it, we warned in resepcion eh they sent the cleaning lady to clean and disinfect eh every m Evening penthouse had to return AH sweep away the anthill eh finally they decided to swap us out of the room we were given 2 doubles the 120 and 119 nice little ones but perfect for 2 people, eh we had said take away most of the things that after serious dehydration A of the room you can return the next evening the resepcion will pissed with the whole room because they left the some clothes (2 shirts 1 shirt and 2 trousers) and bring us back in the 608 eh I say they didn't have a room on a lower floor? But it appears this they put us in 4 in a room for 2 eh if you want 3 adding a bed, you couldn't stand eh not even the air con I don't know what else to say if not that does craps Sto hotel do not come even if towel give the living room.

Available staff, tidy and clean rooms, quiet place. Only flaw is not always easy to find a parking close, but of course it does not depend on them.

I was a trifle nervous about staying in a hotel at all but the Sunflower has been first-class. The staff actually make the place. Without exception they are friendly and cheerful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family. Thank you for a great stay in Malta.

The staff caters perfectly, the buffet food changes every day and is pretty good. Parking is always on the outside. Wifi and heating throughout the hotel. Indoor pool and bar very good. The bathrooms are correct. To improve the quality of the beds, which are not bad either. Only 1 plug per room, more are needed, solvable with a multienchufe.

Old Hotel, spacious room and friendly service. The breakfast is buffet and leaves much to be desired. Wi-Fi throughout the hotel (room included)

Ok. Food was fine. Ask for breakfast the morning we was leaving in our room. Came late rushing around not happy. But they did give it as commentary breakfast for being late. Staff was nice. Rooms was ok for what we paid. Went in feb. Not much going on. Went bus rides nearly every day good way to see the island. Would go back in more early spring summer time.

Stayed at this hotel twice now and planning to go back next year. Love it. It's just out of the way enough to be quiet at night, near to the shops and a short walk to Buggiba Square. The staff are friendly. The hotel is clean. The food is great. I cannot fault it at all. Thank you for a fabulous holiday. See you next year. Kind regards Sara :-)

The sunflower hotel is a small but friendly and has a warm atmosphere. Food is good and service is good. Bedrooms are large and airy and we'll equipped. The staff are very pleasant and acommadating. Will book again.

Friendly service, The massage are highly recommended. Rita is a Professional massage therapist and you must try it if you ever come on the island.

You get what you paid for really, Clean hotel, Staff friendly enough, Breakfast good, Rooms are clean but basic, The only English television is sky news, The views from every balcony is of derelict knocked down buildings, It is in a good location, 10min walk from the main tourist area and bus station, All in all, I would say it's a good hotel and would stay again.

Really good position if you want to travel the island by bus. Your only 10 min from the sea and shops and the staff +locals were friendly and helpful. The room was basic but clean and comfortable with a balcony, breakfast was good with plenty of choices. We had a lovely time and would definitely go back x.

I been there year ago about 2008 with family for hoilday. Good time.

We were staying at the hotel between 16-20/11/2014 The hotel was clean but a lot of ants walked on the room desk and on the floor. The hotel is modest and the location isn't good enough. The hotel is a bit far from the promonade and my advice is to choose a better hotel, even if it costs more money.

The worst hotel and service i've ever been.

Nice rooms, good food, clean.

We were on the whole pleased. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast could have been somewhat varied but by selecting ok. Bread rolls, cereals, a sausage and cheese, cake, fruit, jam, Quark, Croissons. The chambermaids were daily while in use, the towels and sheets were not from plunged but the whole week. The bathroom could also somewhat cleaner have, much lime and an old shower curtain. But for the price it was fully ok. Air conditioning in the room somewhat noisy and the ceiling in the small hallway picked something if you fully turned: D was more funny than disturbing. Pool on the roof was also wonderful, enough are and up on a few construction sites a great view to the sea. View from our room was rather poor. Bottom line: For the price we come back happy. Very nice holiday.
