Location for this hotel is very good, the price is very good as well. The rooms are big, newly furnished I would say. The staff are okay, I mean they aren't here to play with you. Therefore they are working all the time. Cleaning maids are polite with their own characters. (Not everybody good at giving fake smiles, like they do in the UK example) I can't say anything bad about it as this is Malta and it is an other world. But let's say the only thing is the TV channels I could mention as it has only a few and bad quality, internet working but often slow. Small shop nearby has everything, restaurants, coffee shops, bus stop, church, etc. I think for the price it is very good. Probably under managed or due to external pressure being targeted by financial institutes. Not sure, but clearly visible there is something external pulling the hotel backwards.

Best Hotel I have yet been, I felt cozy, welcomed and safe. Hotel is well and efficiently run by professional staff, they are always friendly, polite, cheery and ready to have a chat or help you whatever you need. Receptionist Vendy, Pauline, Ika and Bilel I am going to miss you so much! Geordana also the lovely bartender she is like a pro also. Not to forget mentioning housekeepers Nikitta and others, they kept rooms and hotel, sparkling clean all the time! Best Wishes from the bottom of my heart to you all! Terrible! The whole room is shabby, on the ceiling of the leak, on the walls there are some stains. The underwear after the previous guests was not changed. Everywhere marks, leaks — on doors, glass and so on. Complete unsanitary. Attitude to customers is cattle. Despite the fact that I had in advance all paid, on the 1 day on the pretext that everything is busy sent to others. Hotel, but it was for the best. Cleaning in the room started at 10.30, and to 15.30 not finished yet — collected all the laundry and towels in a pile on the bed and left. Photos are attached. Of particular interest was the kettle without a stand to connect to the network and TV with 10 only on Italian channels. The brands of technology are also shocking. Do not stop here — I regretted many times. For the same money you can find was much better.

Currently staying at the Windsor Hotel and it's fantastic value for money. Very central location. Basic but clean and our room has a veranda which you would normally expect to pay extra for. In comparison I priced hotels in Valetta today and this hotel definitely is good value. Beds could be a little more comfy however I can run with this. Breakfast is very good. Room serviced every day. Swimming facilities also good.

A really shame, a beautiful structure drifted.
The staff speaks many languages including Italian so it is quite qualified and available within the limits.
The property is really but really nice with pool, indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna and bar.
Even the rooms are not bad, but now nothing works and the cleaning really does SCHIFO.
The water of the pools is stagnant and oily, the sheets and towels are perpetually dirty and stained even after the change (spots on the sheets I leave you imagine), at the bar there is no one, the elevator and other electronic appliances are perpetually broken and among these also the air conditioners (which I do not know if they voluntarily keep off) that do not always work (read the other reviews) in the middle of summer with more than 40 degrees!
The whole thing is really bad… Too bad.
Maybe it is still recoverable with good future management because I repeat the structure and the means are there, but it lacks the organization and everything else at the base.

The second star I put it for employees, polite and kind.
We arrive and the Dell hotel door should be automatically scrolling but it's broken, in its place an iron handle, stuff to believe. In the room there are no towels, I'll pick them up, then I call someone because the door doesn't close from the inside… They send someone and fix it; will always cause problems. Apart from the absence of the sacred bin, no shelf next to the sink, no towel holders. Loss of the shower floor in two different parts, no number in the room to call the reception. Operating climate changer. Looks like a hotel done half way well, the other dilapidated. Full all-English breakfast, poor quality cured meats, little choice of sweet stuff.
I mean, from a 4-star I expect something more… I have seen in hotels 2 mountain stars, in Italy, much better situations.

Four star? Really? This was one of the worst hotel experiences in my life. I didn't sleep one full night during my stay. Doors banging, drunk students making noise at 5h30 in the morning. The room was not refurbished at all. Ugly stains on the bathroom floor, old bedspreads, bad mattress. Towels need serious changing, more holes than cotton (see picture). In the bath one cannot choose where water is coming out from (shower or tap), water flows from both at the same time. But hotel stickers in the bathroom state that it is an eco-friendly hotel! Mini bar is empty! Ironing board provided but iron nowhere to be seen. I had to pay a 50 euro deposit for the air conditioning remote control. The explanation was that they were getting stolen frequently. But the TV remote control was available without deposit! The pool is small and there is no control over silly Italian students who started playing ball in the pool, the other guests, including me, just had to get out. Never again!

Hotel has 3 stars, but it satisfies all needs. It has convenient location, close to bus station, in vicinity wine keller, massage saloon, gellateria, restaurants, and last but not least beach is just a few steps away.

Not a 4 star hotel. Friendly service. Clean room. Great proximity to the ocean and oceanside bars.

Very well located, bus stop nearby, lively but remote from the noise.
Sea a few meters, clean pool.
Breakfast good.
Very comfortable bedding, modern room with all the necessary equipment.
We had a nice week stay.

Dirty sheets dirty, the terraces are not cleaned up never, restrooms without hygiene. The walls of the room with crap, horrible. The breakfast had neither a piece of fruit, and coffee were sewer.

Experience to forget.
Overlooked Hotel as service Rooms and old bathrooms and scruffy linen, lacking small towels.
Little cleaning on the premises.
Air conditioning does not work at least that you do not pay 50.00 Euro deposit to have the remote control from the direction.
2 stars would already be too many for this environment.

Location OK friendly Staff Seen from the outside looks like a good hotel.
In the rooms rather scruffy few services, old and small television Does not have air conditioning, lacks the bide, missing the small towels, the suction fan does not work, the bed and old and broken some staves adjusted with a table of Wood chipboards, the power outlets are dangerous, little light in the room.
It's Not 4 stars… But 2 stars.

Hotel good, bathroom super-old. Drawback, if you're going to make coffee or a rum and coke, don't serve it, because lack of ice. If you don't know English, you have crude oil. You ignore.

Old, unless it is an offer, it's not worth the four stars correspond to a two-star hotel in Madrid. The cafeteria didn't even have ice for a rum and coke, at the reception nobody speaks English in Spain in a four star hotel the receptionist speaks the least Spanish and English.

By far the worst hotel I've been at for quite a while. Wi-Fi that barely worked, bad breakfast and a noisy room given that there were renovations in the floor above *and* below. On top of that, the staff was unfriendly.

The rooms are very worn out and certainly not modern, as is promised on many websites. The staff was usually quite unkind and reserved. Breakfast was very simple, healthy cuisine was dispensed with, no fresh fruit. Our room was on the 5th floor, the floors below and above were renovated, so it was noisy in the morning. No note at the front desk. Only in the lift was it pointed out. The pool was not usable due to the construction work and the unsanitary conditions. In addition, the rooms are very light hearing, so that noises in the hallway, the neighboring room and the elevators (which seem quite outdated) can be tracked. The rooms were fundamentally clean, but the service was very swaying (towels were partly missing).

Not bad, after all it's very cheap, and not esque is very far from the sites, but, for example, the sheets of the beds do not change them, just place it well and it is, besides that the quilt I think is called not only ugly but I Remember it is obvious that it is old, it does not smell great the site, which does not stink, but also smells of roses and breakfast is certainly very poor. However the pools that are upstairs are wonderful, there is a deck next to a Jacuzzi that is great in February and an outside on a very cute terrace, and then they have a sauna although I didn't have time to try it. And if anyone wanted to eat near there, there is a place that eats very well and at a reasonably good price that is according to salts to the right at the end of the street called Friends, is a Mexican restaurant, where you can order the food to anyone perfectly In Spanish. I would go to this hotel despite all the flaws I put because at the end of the day is very good.

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Literal BROWN water coming out from the taps, when we told reception they said it was completely normal for the island and to just leave it running for 10 minutes till it becomes clean. Stay here at your own peril.

Staff is not interested in serving customers. Both pools and spa amenities are closed. On the 3rd and 6th floors they doing major building works starting at 6:30am daily… Breakfast? OMG… stale bread, 3 kinds of cold meat and fruit from can… unacceptable. Shame… relatively clean place.

Incompetent staff and dirty rooms.

Bad Hotel, in all and for everything, dirty rooms, tablecloths from Third world, cleaning non existent, tv14pollici that goes back to the First World War, dirty sheets and who has more than put it. I marvel at the fact that Booking and Trivago continue to advertise. An outrageous hotel. 4 stars? Four Stables.

Regular, very ancient, of the taps the water comes out with rust, the air does not work,,,, I do not recommend it.

Zero stars. Very old very come down. The hotel is supposed to have 4 stars lol… 1 star no more.

A stable is cleaner! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone! Blood stains in the sheets!

Not 4 star by any stretch of the imagination. Shower cubicle screen cracked in 2places. Broken Tiles. Couldn't open the wardrobe door as bedside table in the way. Breakfast — only scrambled eggs. 2 types of cereal. No fresh fruit. Only good thing about this hotel is the staff.

Hall and courtesy are good… The room is a one star level… Very old inside the room and the accessory.

A good hotel to spend your holidays in Brazil. Equipped gym, roof with pool and bar, just a few steps from the beach.

Bad boy. Very bad… water droplets… comes out with rust… the cistern Hab 228. The cistern takes 20 minutes to fill up.

This was the worst hotel I have ever seen. The carpets had stains and the smell in the corridors was horrible. The beddings had stains, taps had brown water, toilet seat was broken and the bathtub had a curtain that had mould at the bottom. We couldn’t even stay there and had to spend more money on staying somewhere else. Please do not stay here if you can.

I will NEVER stay at this hotel again! Bad service, only one employee at fhe desk office, entry doors were not working. The receptionist looked like we disturbed her… And we were asked to pay the room in advance, otherwise we will NOT receive the key! Just stay away of this hotel!

Terrible! I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy! Well, to that if!

The hotel is very nice. Clean room with TV and Internet, nice bathroom with clean towels, hair dryer and shower gel, only no slippers, good breakfast, there is elevator and hotel has great location. Staff is very helpful and polite. Actually there is everything you need to have great holiday. It was cold and we asked for kettle and additional blanket and were provided with it in the same day. I would stay here again!

While underwhelming at first sight, give it a few days and its strategic location and kind staff will surely grow on you. Also the Wi-Fi is excellent.

A pretty old hotel with basic facilities, cleaning in the public halls is not the best and you may see how old is the hotel when you get into the rooms. They sell it as a 4 stars hotel but it isn't definitely. Don't pay more than 35 per night.

Great location however the hotel itself and the staff needs a lot of improvement! Room was basic and air conditioning did not work. The lift broke and had to climb five flights of stairs! Staff were OK at best but not very forthcoming with help and information for example when we arrived we were charged an eco tax which we had no idea about and it was not explained to us until we asked another member of staff. Would not recommend or stay again.

Paid for a room with a garden view for a couple. Ended up with a room with 3 single beds. Cracked, sharp floor tiles throughout, a small little window. At 35 degrees C the air con was only on a timer throughout the whole building which means it got VERY HOT which made for uncomfortable night's sleep! After speaking to the staff apparently theres no such thing as a double bed in Malta. Unhelpful staff. Seriously put a downer on a holiday! AVOID!

Central location almost on the waterfront… Traditional, my room (3x5, about 5m) was with two single beds, a small balcony on the street, a MINITV, a mini fridge, efficient fan, a bathroom. Restaurant from 90 seats, bar, swimming pool deckchairs and more on the roof, two very efficient lifts up to the sixth and — 1! Internet-Wireless good, services and daily cleaning (sometimes I told him that today was not necessary). Nice lobby, info and advice. Ok.

Only stayed for 3 days, but for the price this hotel is great value, the location was good, room was spotless and cleaned to a very high standard every day, the staff are extremely hard working and the reception staff could not have been more helpful, the breakfast was of a very high standard plenty of it and piping hot. Would not hesitate to return if in Malta again.

NEVER! Listen to me NEVER NEVER NEVER book a room there. No money worth it, believe me, you'll regret about this choice instantly. No air conditioning, rooms and bathroom are dirty, staff is rude. This is a fraud hotel, you'll spent your time and money. It's not a 4 star, even not a 1 star hotel, that's a cheap dormitory somewhere in the worst country you can imagine.

This hotel is awful!
The rooms are dirty and dark and airless. In the room were bugs. The air conditioner is not work.
There is two elevator but just one operate.
I don't recommend this hotel.

Well, where to begin, the walls and ceiling need some paint, there are no EU plugs (others have at least one for tourists), the shower had no courtain or anything to prevent water spills, rooms weren't as clean as one could expect and they didn't have AC, of the two elevators only one was operative, the corridors seemed to be from the 60's and the smell was weird. At least the beds were confy, the room very spacious with a fancy TV and lights and the location and ease of parking was great. The price is also reasonable.

Very dirty. In the bathroom the flush doesn't work. Water is yellow and the AC has specific time periods so it doesn't work when you'd like. The pool is quite good altough the jacuzzi is very dirty and doesn't work. The sauna doesn't work and is mouldy. Old boulding.

The fridge in my room was not working. Complained four times and was promised it would be replaced but it never was. Air con made a noise like a diesel engine but did not cool at all. Only one lift working. Also the hotel was a student accommodation for teenagers learning English. However the rooms were clean and the location was good.

When we arrived we could not have a drink at the bar because (we were told) there were students in the lobby area, the room was on the sixth floor, the top floor, had no air conditioning, it was thirty degrees out side and hotter in the room, the fridge did not work, there were ants in the bathroom, drinking water had to be bought, the language of some (but not all) of the staff was very foul, the bed sheets were stained as were the towels,.
The people of Malta are on the whole very friendly and very helpful.

My daughter, on a study trip, paid for accomodation 4 *, called Resort, is in Triple room, and this one can stay but with a tiny window type jail where you don't breathe. The shower is broken as well as the toilet tablet. The photos you see on the Hotel website do not match the reality!

Only one old elevator for 6 floors (US on 4th floor)
No air conditioning (36 degrees) No fridge that works at last if but in oven mode!
Breakfast in a canteen type room with the staff who made as much noise as possible with the dishes
Only positive… near beach and transportation.

Clean and basic you get what you pay.

I had a lovely time in the Windsor Hotel. My room was lovely and the people working there are very sweet and very friendly. I hope to have here less young peolple under control but that to the teachers not caring about students. I had a very good cooked breakfast. And my room was always very well cleaned. The location of the hotel is very perfect. I can't give more then 3 stars : (in my opinion there is need for renovation and I am not talking about my room becouse for the room I would easy give 4 star.

No way this is a 4 star hotel No AC, bad breakfast, dirty, bad maintenance, Internet barely worked in rooms, take out the key card and the fridge will turn off.

Great hotel and reasonably priced.

Rooms on the small side but comfortable balcony for drying things that are washed by the sea. The hotel is just steps away from the bus stop and from the sea and opposite a convenient food. The bathroom is small but functional. Only flaw is the cleaning in hidden areas such as under the bed or in the closet, but a lot more clean than many other 4 star hotels in Italy. Comfortable air conditioning. The restaurant on the corner is a good compromise between quality and choice for the Italian tastes demanding. Overall I highly recommend this hotel if you're not very numerous.

4-star Hotel when it's worth 1. Unique point in favor proximity to the sea. Dirty, employees are rude, especially the cleaning ladies, they laughed at you when you were sleeping at 8 in the morning. Only one elevator working on 2.

Dirty and gloomy. Wi-Fi barely works. Bad breakfast. I got lucky because my room had AC, my colleague said that the AC in their room was broken. Still, my room had plenty of other problems. Two stars because the staff was friendly despite the fact that they have to work in this hotel.

Old and sloppy Hotel. The service in general unfriendly and unprofessional.

This is without doubt the worst hotel I have experienced in Malta in the many years I have visited the island. I was redirected for the first three days of my holiday because Mercury holidays had made a mistake. They had a month to get back to me to allow me to make a decision, I found out at the airport! They have offered me a derisory £50 off my next holiday. They can keep the money I will vote with my feet.

Full of school groups, only two very old elevators, good service, bad attention to details. It's OK but could be much better if they were more cringe. And do yourself a favour, don't take the breakfast.

They should probably publish that during the summer it is used almost exclusivly as a base for german english academies meaning lots of students. The 2 lifts the building has for all of the rooms are appalling and rarely work well if at all. The food offered is very basic and not particulaly appealing. Wouldnt recommened. Also currently most of sliema appears to be a building site.

Winsdor Hotel is good for young people who want to have fun on Malta and just nead place where to sleep after clubs. But the hotel is whery good, there are^ swimming pool, gym etc. Also there is a good restaurant. Near hotel there is a mini-market, where you can find all you need to eat, not far from hotel is shopping mall. Also there is a good caffe "Surfside" on the beach :) And! The great advantage of the hotel is that sity of clubs Pachivell is in 20 minutes. So have fun there, and don't drink to much ;)
